Mr. Greek

So I had Mr. Greek in Mississauga on Dixie today and I give it 3 stars because they gave me rice instead of potatoes. It would have gotten 5 stars if they didn't mix up my order. I had the original chicken souvlaki dinner with 1 side, salad, pita and tzaziki. I always order a couple extra tzaziki's just cause the containers are small. I like this place overall, food is tasty and flavourful, just wish they didn't mix up my order.

Order takeout from this location frequently, always friendly staff, and food prepared well.

Amazing food and service. We got the family feast with souvlaki, salad, potato, rice, pita and dessert. Everything was so juicy and flavourful. Everyone was raving about how good it was. Will be back.

Food is always delicious at this location! Definitely recommend ordering from Dixie and Eglinton location. Service, very friendly and attentive. Price, very good. Overall, highly recommended for a quick and tasty meal.

20 minute wait Gyro dinner for takeout at lunch time. Got food back to work open it and it’s burnt and extremely small portion of gyro, rice bland and lacking flavour. Lady at front seemed lost and all over the place. Don’t waste your lunch time trust me

I ordered online through the Dixie Eglinton location. The food tasted amazing! From the food to the very nice gentleman delivering the food, my family and I had a great meal and experience. Thank you so much!

Cashier took and confirmed our order. Then gave us the wrong order and charged us for the difference. No apologies, rude customer service from the start.
Food was decent, there’s much better options for the hefty price tag of their food.

Expensive, food is ok. But I didn't get a fork, spoon, or napkins. Had to eat my salad with a the chicken skewer, a single chicken skewer.

Very bqd customers service, There was beautiful woman on the cashier. She act like miss world. Never asked if need a drink. She has to cancelled payment add my drink. No smile, no welcoming. Also the the shop is empty no customers inside. There was old lady clean the store.

We came in late after a flight on a holiday, they could have turned us away but didn’t. Food was fresh and very tasty! Service was great too

The only good thing about here is staff they are quite friendly, whereas food was average in taste, secondly potions were small in compared to price. Waiting time for dine-in is quite long and one of our orders got served with wrong sides which we accept as it was already too late.

They state 2 skewres on souvlaki dinner, but its actually 2 small portions of pork makes it one skewer, the salad is the largest portion in the dinner.
Not very impressed with taste either but its ok.
Not worth the money spent for sure, you can find better restaurants who are not cheap to treat customers.
Restaurant is nice and clean thats a plus and where my stars went.

The worst Greek food ive tasted. The gyros was extremely salty, overcooked and burnt
It lacked flavor.
The wrap was soggy and just overall tasted like they threw in a whole lot of salt.

We decided to try the catering options and it was fantastic. They also deliver! Food is always good, can't go wrong with Me Greek

I too had the starter size Calamari. I was shocked at the portion when I opened it. I didn't touch it. No one ate it.

$15, the size of your fist. I get we're in a pandemic, but that's disgraceful! All the food was packed in one bag. It could barely close. Ripped, while I tried to open it. Charged me for an extra Tzatziki, when I didn't even need it. My family and I found the smell quite off.
Ordered a burger. Meat was so tough and heavy feeling in my stomach. Garnished with wilted, slightly browning head lettuce.

Ripped off for $60+
Ruined a quick, last minute birthday dinner.

After giving up on this restaurant I gave it another try. The foods not bad but the pricing and portions are just not worth it. There’s so much better food in this area.

Jan. 2021: Overpriced food here! The lack of quality and ingredients makes me question what I'm really paying for. Compared to other Greek franchises I will avoid Mr. Greek all together as I am Greek this is a disappointment. I got a chicken souvlaki on a pita this visit.

Nov. 2021: It's been 11 months since my last review here and although the menu has completely changed, the employees working here make for a terrible experience. They are not Greek nor do they speak fluent English. Wrecking the experience and expectations of a Greek restaurant. Authenticity is everything for ethnic food.

First choice for Greek. We travel from west Mississauga to come here. Big portions, meat cooked fresh. Delish!
Chicken slovaki meal is my go to. Always food leftover to take home!

The cook Shyam is amazing! Hands down this is the best Mr Greek ever! This location is a must try! Highly recommended!

Very disappointed in the service. I ordered a traditional gyro and I received chicken souvlaki. When I asked for a replacement they sent me a bowl of meat. So disappointed. I won’t recommend. They make a mistake and then send you a half made replacement. You’d think the second time I would have gotten what I ordered, not a bowl of meat! There’s more to a gyro than that. Poor service. I do not recommend.

Food was excellent. The staff were very accommodating went I walked in and very pleasant to deal with. The restaurant has a fresh feel to it and is very clean inside. Order the classic chicken souvlaki dinner; chicken was moist and juicy. The sauce on top of rice with the potatoes were great. Greek salad on the side was refreshing and the pita bread was nice and hot. Great experience and would recommend stopping by in the area!

I made a big order, the young lady preparing it was quite busy. Everything was as I hoped. Delicious. Moussaka & Gyro deserves even more stars. Thanks.
