Mr. Greek

Probably the worst Greek food I’ve eaten in my life. The chicken was undercooked, they gave us the wrong orders, nothing was followed as per our request. Bland and tasteless raw food. I want my $80.00 back!

Awful! We ordered 2 grilled chicken salads, greek fries and a souvlaki meal. The salad was from a bag, which was past its due date. Lettuce was brown and rotten. No feta on anything. They used goat cheese instead. No salad dressing was included. Couldn’t eat either salad.
We ordered at 7: 30 when we went in to pick up at 8: 00, we were told that they still have to cook the chicken. We asked for no olives, both salads had olives. And to top it off the bottle of diet coke had been opened. Couldn’t drink it. Really? ! $70 for absolutely nothing.

The food was great and the venue was clean. There was a manager called Amir that was very kind and helpful. I’ve been there a few times and am very likely to go again.

We were there on Friday for dinner.food and customer service was very good. We will definitely go back there.

Ordered from Doordash. Even though it is a few minutes away from me, the order took 1 hour. On top of that, the “Mr Greek fries” I ordered came as regular plain fries which was extremely disappointing.

What’s even more disappointing was the 2 rice’s I ordered with “EXTRA RED SAUCE”, came with ZERO sauce on both of them. So sad.

And to top it all off, the 2 cookies I ordered came black. BLACK. Burnt to a crisp, hard as a rock cookies ️ who doesn’t love that.

Wow has this place ever gone downhill. I have been in the area for 15 years and frequently order take out here. Owners/ staff changed a few times over the years but service and food was always consistent until now. Over cooked food, slow service and mass confusion if there are more that 3 orders received in the kitchen. Such a shame because there are so few Greek restaurants in the area.

Just a lost cause of an establishment that seriously needs to be checked out by the owner. Food quality is just horrible. Salad is so old I can see the best before date on the greens itself. Chicken has been sitting 12hrs on a burnt grill so no explanation needed there. Price is so high compared to Jimmy yet the portions are the same and quality is poor

Food was cold, hair in salad, rice was extremely hard. Had to throw it out. Disappointed. Also missing item!

You know when your mom told you, if you have nothing good to say, say nothing? Well that's my opinion of this place. But I need to let people know what they are getting into.
If my stars aren't reflective of this establishment I don't know.
1) they have no customer service
2) If you pay with anything outside of the app you don't get a receipt.
3) they took our order and continued to fill mobile orders for 15 min before starting mine.
You want a gutter experience, come here food is mediocre. I can't believe come here more than once.

Incredibly frustrating to deal with. Will cancel online orders, but still remain active on the apps (e.g. Uber Eats, Door Dash.) If you're too busy to take delivery orders, you should not be accepting them in the first place.

The food was great. Except the Garlic bread was seriously bunt: Update 2022. The food is good but the restaurant smells like a washroom. The staff here are idiots.

The worst pork souvlaki I ever ordered today it taste disgusting. It is hard as a rock, extremely dry, it has sour taste, taste like cooked for the last few days and was just reheated. I ordered fried calamari but not available although it was on their website so I replaced with this disgustingly sour tasted/spoiled pork. Wasted my 20 dollar for unedible food. This place was my favorite place before but after covid lockdown. This place has never been the same. Waste of money.

Placed an order for delivery, only to be called by the "manager" that they did not have drivers available. Manager offered to refund amount by e-mail transfer (seemed shady) instead of cancelling order and refunding my credit card directly.

Still waiting for e-mail transfer - probably never see it again.

Called and left a message to deal with a serious issue. Mold… on both buns. 2 orders missing as well. No response very disappointed.

Short staffed, owner/manager with one staff, was busy with online orders resulting in extremely poor service. Bathroom which was surprisingly clean had neither soap nor paper towel.

I visited this restaurant and tried their pork Pita. It was prepared to perfection. The preparation was fast and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended.

First issue: price on the board says $7.99 but charged me $1 more, of course +tax

Second issue: the amount of chicken they put in the pita is questionable! The chickens were smaller than the amount of cucumbers! I basically ate a cucumber and tomato sandwich for $10! How do these people sleep at night? What a rip off.

Avoid like a plague. Too expensive for what you got. Bread taste outdated. Not fresh. Save yourself time and money and go to McDonald's

I order on Uber today they packed the chicken soaked in tomatoe sauce of the potatoes
Very little amount of chicken suppose to be two skewers it was really Poorly packed and little semi cooked chicken
The French fries soaked in oil very saggy and too salty plus dark

I paid 30 $ was not worth it dumped the fries in garbage so is the salad was not fresh at all

Not impressed at all. I placed an order online for delivery to my door, I get a call from the delivery person, which in which he asked me to come downstairs as there was no security to let him in. I went downstairs and my order was just sitting on a table in the lobby of my building, the concierge was sitting at the front desk, and told me that there was no reason for him to not have come upstairs. I regret giving a tip, and a good one at that. The food was good, but because of this horrible delivery service, I doubt I will order from this location again.

If there was a way to put 0 or negative stars, this place would get that rating.we ordered online and got the usual confirmation email that let us know
it would be around 50 minutes.pretty standard, and generally it's much quicker.i mean.we live in the sheppard center apartments and can see the location from our balcony, so it's super close.

90 minutes later, no food.so we decide to call the restaurant and the super rude lady on the other end of the phone tells me it's gonna be right there. 30 minutes later.still nothing, so we call back.this time in get yelled at "i told you it was going to be there soon" and other such nonsense.i also get told that that driver makes the deliveries in the order in which they are recieved, which technically does make sense.however.in no world does it take anywhere close to two hours to deliver a food order considering there are 3 other mr greek locations within a 10 minute drive (and we live within walking distance).

i'm all for supporting local business.they've dealt with enough over the last two years.that said, if this location of mr greek were to fall into a sinkhole and then replaced with a wildly expensive parking lot, our community would be that much better for it.

Disappointing! I don’t know if they changed owners or staff but the quality isn’t the same as before. Recently, I got take out for my family and it was not fresh, and poorly put together.

The 3 souvlaki meals we got was not fresh, the chicken was dry and different portions in each plate (some had more some had less). The packing of the food was really poorly put together it was very sloppy and not appetizing. The side order of large roasted vegetables was disgusting. The broccoli was mushy and had a foul taste and has gone bad. The carrots was discoloured, and has a foul taste. The zucchini, some were mushy and some were under cooked.seems like they mixed some old/rotten veggies together to cook. The Greek potatoes also side order did not taste good the potatoes were undercooked and didn’t have flavour it was only drenched in sauce to make it look like it had flavour but when you bit into it wasn’t cooked properly. My husband’s burger was put together very sloppy with too much sauce and his Greek fries was mushy it wasn’t good at all, fries should be crispy and cooked properly but it wasn’t. None of their food was fresh, which is disappointing because we use to love ordering take out here all the time. In the past the food was amazing that’s why we keep coming back.

Packaging was horrible, they switched from the plastic containers to these tin takeout containers and the food wasn’t even hot. They didn’t know how to package it in the bags. It had 3 souvlaki dinners at the bottom which was smaller, then they put the 2 large side orders of potatoes and roasted veggies on top, it was falling over and not tightly stacked and organized like before. The salad was old and not fresh, some of the ingredients were also discoloured so you know it’s going bad. They mixed in items of hot abs cold together, it was a disaster!

One other thing I saw that was super disgusting was the female cook, she was snacking on food while cooking, her fingers touched her mouth and then she’s back to touching all the customers foods. This is totally NOT Sanitary! I do not recommend this place to anyone, this is not how a restaurant should be handling people’s food. The previous staff who were cooking here was well organized, very clean and sanitary! Also we’re friendly and nice too. This time I went there was the 1 cook lady and only 1 other staff at the cash whom was the same person who helped put together food, didn’t see her wash her hands while she was doing this.

I do not recommend this location to anyone, go somewhere else for Greek food don’t waste your money.

I am sorry bad I don't have any other way to tell how dissapointed we are! About your chicken gyros souvlaki no taste some small Pease's burnt chicken no flavour and of the day they should have been throuhn out. We drive for take out and to have a nice traditional souvlaki with my wife home instead we will eat some chips thanks so much. We are not the citizens of the year and we are citizens as you bad you should cam on our position how would you feal and react.thank you again if you don't want us we will never see you again! If you think we are wrong than we will apologize.

Good food and great service they give you a lot of food if you order and get some sides. Also the employees were good and patient
