Mr. Greek

Not crazy about the new tomato based roasted potatoes (super salty & too sweet) - I grew up beside the OG Mr Greek on the Danforth at Carlaw.orange oil roasted potatoes are what I prefer - Lemon Roasted are the best but for Mr Green gimmie those Orange RPs!

People who sat down half an hour after us got their food before us and all we ordered were fries! Plus we had to ask for our order 3 more times! Then my grandson got stuck in the bathroom because the door was broken (we had to kick the door in to get him out) and when we let the staff know about it they said "oh yet another complaint"
Oh also they brought our food with no cutlery.
Not to mention the entire place was an utter pig sty. No toilet paper in the washrooms, over flowing garbage cans and every table was piled up with dishes from the people before. I can understand if it was busy but it wasn't. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

Today my friend and I were served by Leo. We are from panama, and it was amazing, the food was delicious and thanks to Leo We now have plans for the rest of our vacations in Toronto. Excellent service

I had the classic chicken souvlaki. The meat was so dry. Salad was not a Greek salad and it was primarily made of iceberg lettuce. Very disappointed.

The food was good here. You are going to get huge pieces of meat but it is cooked properly and very juicy not dry. They don't gold back on the portions of sides either. It's good here

Have ordered about 6 times from this place and the flavour never disappoints & makes the price worth it. The potatoes, chicken, and pork are very yummy. I do pick up here, and outside the danforth this place is arguably one of the yummiest in Toronto which is surprising because it’s a chain. This time I’m specially writing a review to speak on a good experience. The reason why I removed 1 star is because every single time I have ordered from here they have always forgetting a pita, a tzatziki etc. Even with special instructions on how many there must be they never did it right. Especially on the single skewers that come with 1 tzatziki and 1 bread each they’ve gave us less and say it’s not included (but it is). It’s always disappointing but it’s close and yummy so we dismiss it (despite ordering 40-70 $ every time). Finally today we received a full meal, with extras and all instructions gone above and beyond to be followed. To the business owner: the young man that was working at the front on feb 11 around 6-7 PM: he is your best staff (besides the chefs). Also, the restaurant itself is surprisingly very big and gorgeous on the inside.

This restaurant observes no sanitary protocols. We were charged $52 for 2 souvlaki chicken meals, which is very pricey in and of itself. As we were waiting for the food, we observed a cook loafing around in the kitchen, and he packed an order of fries with his BARE hands. Furthermore, he ate a fry that was left over after packing these fries with his bare hands.

The cashier, who was also handling the salads and packing the orders, used only one glove while handling all ingredients for the salad. That is food contamination. No tongs were used. When the cashier was preparing to add onions to this salad, they broke the onion slices in half using both hands. Note, I said they only had one glove on. As such, the other hand that was used to handle cash and touch the register was not washed and was handling food products.

Lastly, the cashier was telling the cook, about a DIFFERENT order, that was being prepared, that if the customer complained, it was the cook's fault. The food looked undercooked. If this restaurant is willing to observe such poor sanitary practices with a customer waiting IN the store, what would they be doing to food for customers that ordered delivery while no one was in the store?

We observed employees leaving and entering the kitchen multiple times with not one employee washing their hands. Excuse me?

We immediately asked for a refund after all this. Refund was given in cash and not back to the original form of payment, which was credit card.

All in all, I do NOT recommend ordering, or even setting foot in this place until the owner decides to do something about the employees observing 0 hygiene standards.

I LOVE Greek food and this one here was absolutely delish! Fresh, piping hot and comes with a salad. Highly recommended especially if you crave the taste of some home-made food. I thought it was a bit pricey but the portion is quite big and the chicken is very succulent. This is a must try!

I have nothing but good things to say about Mr. Greek on Bremner. The consistency and the quality of their food is always great, it is cost effective, and Theo & Patricia always provide exceptional and professional customer service, which is really refreshing.

I have ordered chicken souvlaki multiple times
from this location and they have never failed to impress. The food is fresh and the service is awesome.

Hit and miss with service.
I've dined in regularly before covid, and now mostly takeout. The food is fine for the average Greek spot (3 stars - I lived in Athens for a period of time so its hard for a Toronto joint to meet those expectations) - and easily accessible since I live across the street.
Service on the other hand is dependent on who you come across. Patricia is amazing and is consistently friendly (5 stars!) and makes you feel extremely welcome. But on the other hand, I would rather dine at McDonalds instead of dealing with Sarah (0 stars). Even if you're just ordering takeout it seems you've caused an inconvenience to her day and is extremely rude (we purposely avoid picking up a meal here now if we see her on her shift, and opt for other neighbourhood options).
Keeping in mind these varying factors, I've averaged this out to 2 stars.

The worst place ever, the customer service is below ok, no one is using face cover or mask or gloves a mean something and if you ask questions to employees they act like they really don't care, am sure there are way better places at less than 5 min away to waste your time in this place. Today i went there for pickup the food. When i entered in the restaurant i told them my order number and the fornt desk lady started being rude with me. Trust me i really don't understand why she being rude with me, she was really loud and her behavior was unacceptable.

Delicious and fresh every time with friendly staff on top of it all. Great to have them in the neighbourhood to take a break from cooking or enjoy a dinner out with friends but still have that "home cooked meal" feeling!

I would recommend this location for its fast and friendly service, food taste so good and served fresh, their staff specially Patricia who attended to us, her service is just awesome.

Don't mistake Jimmy the Greek (found in mall food courts) for Mr. Greek. This is a restaurant offering table service, as well as take-out options. The staff are friendly, they have a decent selection on their menu, and prices are reasonable for what you get. Not a gourmet greek restaurant, but it does the trick to satisfy your needs for Mediterranean cuisine.

Greek is one of my favorite cuisines and I loved the food here!
I ordered the chicken souvlaki and the chicken gyro and both were yummy. The sauces are what make the difference- theirs are delicious.

Waited almost an hour for food. Within this time, one of the employees took off her mask at least 10x. Touched the front of her mask at least 10x. Kept taking off her mask. Sneezed. And never once washed her hands.

I was in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. The service was fantastic! I placed my order within minutes of sitting down. The server was quick to bring me a drink. The hummus appetizer was great, and I recommend the lamb souvlaki. I'll definitely go back again.

My friend and I just saw a rat inside the restaurant. This was reported to the on site store manager.

Very pleased with our delivered meal yesterday. Due to the weather the food was late, but they were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to help us with our order. When the food arrived it was delicious. This is my new go-to Greek delivery!

Our waitress was friendly, welcoming & genuine! Place had a very clean & neat appearance. Food was decent.

I order takeout and it took 45 minutes to receive my order.

They were not even busy. 1 other guy in front of me for takeout and 2 tables in the dinning room were occupied.

I order a pork souvlaki on a bun and a small Greek salad.

When I left with my order and got to my location to have my dinner the Greek salad was dry without any dressing. There was not any dressing in the bag for me to put on the salad.

The server behind the counter asked if I wanted 1 stick or 2 stick. I replied 2 stick. When I opened my souvlaki there were only 5 pieces of meat on the bun. So how many pieces of meat on each stick?
I did not get a pork souvlaki as I ordered, I received chicken.

Overpriced very mediocre Greek food. The chicken skewers were very small and bland, the "pita" bread was just cheap plain garlic bread. You can find much better Greek food in the city.

So I heard they have new management and decided to visit. WOW! Everything was so clean. So fresh. I can honestly say this was the best Greek food I have had in a long time. Highly recommend you visit.

Was fairly quiet when I came so was perfect!

Nothing spectacular, the guy who served us was not very patient or friendly. He seemed in a hurry, mind we were the only ones for lunch. Food was good.

Service was very slow despite not many customers during lunch hour. Food was good, as typical Greek food is. Nice restaurant but they need to work on the ventilation as it got kind of smoky from the kitchen.

Worst service, terrible quality, inconsistent delivery. Would never eat here again, even if you gave the food away FREE.

Great food, served efficiently and quickly. I especially loved the garlic bread, gyro and green tea. Price is quite attractive too. Will definitely visit again because I think food here is way better than the drab ol Jimmy the Greek fare

The food here is absolutely amazing but the service was very slow. The tables felt a bit sticky. If you're willing to wait then it's very worth your time

Love this place! We had dinner last night, food was awesome and portions large! But the best was the waitress Maria! She greeted us with a smile, very friendly and efficient. The rest of the staff (kitchen included) were also very lovely! We will be back again soon!:)

Great food and great service. We tried vegetarian options and they were very tasty. It was a cold day outside and we just stepped into it as it was closer to our parking lot. We were not disappointed!

I attended this store and placed a simple take out order of a wrap and a salad. The restaurant was basically empty except for 2 people seated and not once was I told that the wait was going to be 40 minutes when I ordered my food. They had a couple of big orders from uber ahead of me as uber drivers kept attending to pick up meals. It was ridiculous that I spent 40 minutes waiting inside. Just tell me at the beginning that it will take that long and I wouldn’t have ordered or left and came back. I was standing there confused until I kept seeing uber and skip the dishes delivery drivers enter. More staff should be put into place if there are that many orders because someone ordering a simple meal should not wait 40 plus minutes. It’s unfortunate because the food is actually good.
