Mr. Lube

Shame on you. Am a older person with spinal stenosis hence cannot bend without pain. Went for an emergency to change headlights. Have done this in the past. The young guys in charge informed me that they cannot use the lights I had purchased elsewhere. They DIDNOT have the lights my car needed and were not willing to help. It is not free service that I was asking for. In your greed for profit, do not forget what customer service means. Profit is zero when sales is zero. You just lost a client of 15 years. Went down the road to Speedy auto service who helped even though they had just gone past their closing time.

2 of us waiting to get into a bay for over 15 minutes. A new car drives into the queue for the next available bay - waits 2 minutes and is allowed to drive in and get served for a simple oil change while I’m still waiting outside. No communication from the technicians. The other guy beside me left in frustration. I waited 2 more minutes - nothing from the technicians - I left as well. Pathetic service and communication. I won’t be back.

One of The Worst business I have ever dealt with and seems to be structural behavior deep rooted in company’s model and culture. Upselling you things with no idea if they are even required. False promises on timing. Below average execution. Business only exists on the perception it will be “quick and easy. ” Avoid this place like the plague. Find a local shop, schedule an appointment for a proper experience.

Edit addition in response to mgmt: you may train your technicians to only offer service specific to vehicle type, but hard to imagine you train them on discretion. They are programmed to sell you on a formulaic basis on the inputs you provide them before they even check the car out. Operating within legal parameters but not ethical ones.

Had my oil changed three months ago by this locating, had to change my oil last week, found out they over torqued the oil drain plug and damaged the oil pan, the Subaru dealer was almost ready to drive over to this location for an explanation of how completely incompetent a person can be. Avoid this location.

The team at Mr. Lube are great. They were quick, efficient and able to detect issue. They were very nice and I will definitely go back to them. Thank you Sukh and team!

I would give this place zero stars. I went here only for an oil change and I brought my own oil and filter. I believe afemale alone in a car and thought “let’s take advantage of her. ” They told me I needed transmission oil, steering wheel fluid and the filter changed as well. I agreed to the engine oil because I thought my car really needed it. It’s an old car and second hand. In total for the oil change labour and the engine oil it was 330. I should’ve known if was a lie to get more money out of me. However I paid it. My mistake. A week later I notice the oil is leaking so I take it to my mechanic and they told me they didn’t even tighten the drain plug. Also got my steering fluid checked.it was fine: So my recommendation is never go here or any Mr Lube. Once I told my friends and family they also said “that was your first mistake” that should say a lot.

I had issues with my front tyre. The guys there checked the tyre well and provided good recommendations to prolong its life. Very friendly service. Highly recommended!

I had a possible leak in the tire. Service technician Sukh was very nice and friendly. No appointment needed. Service took about 45 minutes with wait time. I am very happy. Thank you, Sukh!

Brought my car in for an oil change, new tires, my engine light was on, and the hardware keeping my headlight bracket in place was gone thus causing my light to fall down into the front of the car.

I picked up my car passed closing time, which was appreciated that they waited.

However because they were already closed, I paid and left immediately. After driving off I realized the engine light was still on.no one bothered to tell me why, what the code was, what it meant or what to do to fix it.

The light wasn’t fixed/touched.

But they had no problem upwelling me on coolant flush, transmission package, and new filters. $1500 later and they didn’t even do what I initially asked.

Ridiculous.

Did an oil change here last week and the drain plug was not properly installed leading to oil leaking out all week and ruining our newly paved driveway.

Very dishonest. If you go there for oil change, Once you get in, they tried to remove your filter and this and that and said that those need to be changed as well.

Sukh did a great job. Very fast and professional and way too friendly guy. Would love to visit again.

Decent service for older cars, used to use them for oil changes and seasonal tire changes.

Unfortunately, I was turned away and cannot continue to support this business as they only service cars and medium SUVs. If you have a "large" vehicle, don't bother stopping by. I was told that my vehicle was "too heavy" for their lifts; despite it being the same weight as some large trucks I've seen them service before.

A shame to have a business actively turn away customers, but if this location isn't interested in a client's money I'll be happy to tell people with pickup trucks or large SUVs that they're not welcome at Mr. Lube.

Ossam service by Nav. I used to go another location of Mr luve we experienced that was not that good. But when I came here yesterday Nav service worked on my car. He is very knowledgeable and Trustful person. I will definitely come to this location for my car service,

They will tell you the car needs more oil flushes, top ups etc. I got out with $610 bill from oil change to etc!

Excellent customer service by navtej he inspected all the fluid levels of my car and recommended me all the services that were needed. He is an extremely polite person who listens very patiently to the problems of the customers and provides appropriate solutions. He definitely needs a raise.

Honest and trustworthy people. They lifted my vehicle and notified me of leaks and a seized drain nut. They were honest enough to refer me to a mechanic instead of making a quick buck! Will definitely return. Harry was amazing!

The techs are generally good minus some who decide to not wear their masks. Asides from oil changes they refuse to check air pressure and have left my tires nearly flat after i asked them to check and they come up with a million excuses as to why the low air pressure light is on.

I been using mr line almost 4 years. In all the times I went there their service is good, but they always try to sell you more services than the ones you actually went for. Today November 14 of 2021. I called first to ask for the price of the winter tire change service. On the phone they said they charge 69$ for changing my 4 tires. When I arrived to their location I asked again to double check. They told me they will charge 100$ not including taxes. I decided not to proceed with the tire change and drove away.

Much more $ than other service providers. Tire change on rims was priced at $114.cheaper at a dealership. Staff wasn't very attentive and most not wearing masks. Ended up leaving, I'm sure actual service would be OK but wow.

I recently stopped by and asked if they could install a pair of RainX wiper blades I bought at Walmart. This service wasn’t really listed on their site but they were able to do it for me. Manager Harry and his tech were very kind and didn’t even charge me anything for it.
I really appreciated them helping me.
I highly recommend this location.

Very dishonest people, they claimed they changed my oil but I was watching and they did not even drain it, instead they topped it off. Once they showed my oil it was dirty and I confronted them do the oil change properly. I have complained to the head office with my receipt and will be taking this up the chain. Be careful.

NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE! I got a coupon for $10 discount and thought to use it, but when I brought my car there, they told me a lot of things that my car needs to be fixed. I ended up bringing in 'good' car and bringing out a 'broken' car, because of the in-experienced technicians there. Never go back there again.

Tyre pressure was low. Harry helped us get it right back where we wanted it! He was very helpful, explained different possible issues, how to deal with each, and then identified the correct one and got us right back on the road in a jiffy. Great service, great job.

I brought in my vehicle for a front and rear differential service. I brought this in to address a leak. Subsequently i went to have this serviced by a certified mechanic to be told that rear differential had NOT been serviced BUT to discover he had to file down the rust off the filler cap in order to remove. Also told it would have been impossible for Mr Lube's technician to complete the job (without removing). No diagnosis given from Mr Lube only to say there is a leak coming from front end. Shoddy workmanship to say the least.

The staff at this location is too good. Pretty quick and impressive services. Skilled technicians. I would really recommend my friends to visit the place for better experience.

Went here last year for an oil change on my 1 year old Kia. Told them I was in a rush and only wanted an oil change, no air filter check, or brake inspection (I had just had the car at the dealership 3000km before for a full inspection and everything passed with flying colors). Waited for awhile and then was called to the front desk to authorize change of cabin air filter. I informed the person that identified himself as the manager that this was a lie as I have a report from 3000km ago saying filter was perfect condition. I tell him not to touch anything else in my car except the oil and I go and wait some more. I’m called back in and informed that I have 2 nails in my tires (!? !?) and that I need a new set before I can leave and I’m quoted some insane price to have it done. No doubt in my mind they put the nails in themselves just to get back at me. They say I can’t leave without the repairs. I call my uncle, who’s been a mechanic for 30 years with a bustling business that was too busy to change my oil that day and consult him. He said no issue to drive the two blocks home. Called my dad that’s been towing cars since before I was born and he confirmed no issue to drive such a short distance. Drove home and called the free road side assistance that comes with all new kias and had the car towed to the dealer. Dealer removed the nails from the tread, each one was a quarter inch long. Had them check the filter too, completely clean. Cost to me: $70 for my oil change. No towing fee, , no mail removal fee, no filter fee, no tire change fee. Saved probably $500 by not trusting some lying, greedy jerks at this location.

The service they gave me was great. Mechanic who worked on my car was very nice and professional.

I only go to this location or other Lube shops out of convenience. I only go for oil changes and when I know I absolutely need one. I now have a trusted mechanic I go to for all other services. After checking all my fluids they give you a scare tactic such as "Oh this is very bad. I recommend you do this to prevent damage to your engine. " My answer is "I'll get my mechanic to take a look. " Can someone explain how an oil change that is done about every 5000km costs me anywhere from $150-300? Sometimes more.

The answer. Employees are trained to lie and scam the customers. It is a franchise. They are in the business to make as much money as they can off each car that rolls in. Even if its not all true.

I will no longer have a simple oil change turn into a $300 bill. Trust me. Half the stuff they recommend can wait until you make an appointment with a trusted mechanic or the dealership who know your car. I have saved thousands.

I personally like Mr. Lube but the reason I avoid going there is their policy of harassing customers. I'll go there for an oil change and then they will start forcing me for other things which is unacceptable

I am totally not happy with the services provided

1, the staff tried to sell extra although I declined the offers but the staff was still trying hard regardless the condition of my car. I visited the site for the oil change only but ended up spending over $160.2, The car shows one tire needs more air. I told the staff twice about this, then reminded him again, but the issue was resolved. I was told the tires were checked. When I drove away, the light that indicates one tire lacking air is still on.

I won’t visit the site again although I have used its services in the past 8 years.

No appointment as they say fast service nice guys but of course trying to up sell parts I do not need.

I went for an oil change, But they tried to upsale another services, I ended up doing a flush and other services that costed me a lot. If you don't have any idea of your car's condition don't go here.

Akshay changed the bulb for my taillights quickly and efficiently. Service was excellent and convenient; took no time at all and I got to wait inside my car.

Efficient and very friendly service. The only issue here is that every single time I come in for a simple oil change they always find something else that “should be done” which ends up costing me $300-$400. They really push for the additional services which I don’t appreciate. People are usually on a budget and these unanticipated costs impact an entire family. They use pressure tactics and try to guilt someone into getting the services done. I’ve owned several vehicles and have never spent thousands of dollars on “maintenance” each year. It’s not practical. Car ownership does not mean that it should cost thousands just to own a car. My previous vehicles all lasted 15 years without all the various flushings and differentials that they try to up sell. This is my only complaint. You can advise and inform but please don’t push the services onto clients or they really won’t come back. They’ll start to dread getting even an oil change as it will start to feel like going to the dentist!

Went in to change winter tires and not only did they charge me $67 just to tell me my tires werent compatible with my car but 2 of the tires they put back on were dangerously low on air by the time i got home. (They were fine when i first went in)

Great staff that are trying to do a difficult job with some at times very impatient customers. They maintain a great attitude and a very friendly and professional way of doing business.
