If I could give this place a zero I would. I had the WORST experience as this place.this was my usual go to spot but as of recent never again.

They told me that my battery needed to be changed, I called my dealership and the price they had was higher so I went with Mr. Lube to change it.

They changed my battery and I went to leave. Well as I was pulling out, my windows wouldn't open, my radio didn't work, my back passenger window wouldn't work either.
Now all the bays were filled so I had to wait for them to RE SERVICE my car. They took the battery out and put it back in.nothing worked, they got another battery, same thing.
3.5 HOURS LATER.they finally figured it out.
NOT ONCE, was I offered anything, no discount no free oil change NOTHING. They called the manager numerous times because they could not get my car to work, and NEVER did the manager follow up like the tech told me that the manager would.

Over $600 and over 4 hours of my time.
WORST experience I have ever had.

The service at this location is outstanding.
I showed up at the shop a little past 2: 30pm with a screw in my tire and a quick leak. There was no way I would have made it back to Toronto with my tire in that condition. I tried to call roadside assistance first, but they advised they would have to tow me to a dealership who already confirmed they would not be able to work on my car the same day.
I was in a rush to get back to Toronto to pick my daughter up. With this knowledge, they literally jacked up my car outside the shop (every bay inside the shop was full and they were booked) to get the repair done on the spot.
I am so thankful for what they did. They went above and beyond, and I would recommend this location to anyone.

Quick and efficient however I said I only needed tires changed and they attempted to charge me for balancing aswell. An honest employee double checked that I wanted balancing too and removed the charge as I did not ask for balancing.

I had a disappointing experience with Mr. Lube when I went in to address a flat tire issue. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, they tried to charge me a whopping approximately $300 to change the tire completely, when a simple repair would have sufficed for the price of almost $70.
This blatant attempt to overcharge for unnecessary services left a sour taste in my mouth. Fortunately, I sought a second opinion and found another mechanic (Master Mechanic in Newmarket) who was able to repair the tire for less than $60.

It's disheartening to see a company prioritize profit over honest customer service. I won't be returning to Mr. Lube and would caution others to be wary of their pricing practices.

I went today with only the intention of changing my tires over! Well. I needed new filters, an oil change, fuel injection fluid and other fluids checked! It was all done in a timely manner! These guys are all GREAT! I even had all of them laughing (my personality simply shone through today and well. I won’t say anything else!) I will be back in a couple of months for my next oil change etc.and of course more laughs!

I went for an oil change. Lots of sales pitches taking place. Like tire rotation? They were my winters and coming off anyway. Would I go back for an oil change? Sure.

Had the pleasure of speaking with the boss at Mr Lube today while the experts were hard at work. Requested a synthetic oil change and they completed it with no problems. Full diagnostic completed and original service manual was referenced for accuracy. Great service. Will come again.

Went in for an on rim seasonal tire swap for my car. Staff were friendly but the swap was quite costly. $88+tax for this service. Left immediately.

The employees at this location are great and the manager is fantastic! They were fast, efficient and showed me everything they recommended I change. Great service and I will most definitely be coming back going forward. Outstanding customer service and highly recommended!

Very helpful staff although they didn’t have my oil filter in (apparently I need a special filter?)

I left my car there to get my winter tires on. Mine was next in line, it’s first come, first serve. Came back 2 hours later expecting my tires to be done, only to discover that my car was STILL sitting there and they had been taking other cars in ahead of mine! Huge waste of my time! The guys working there had nothing to say. I explained to him that it’s my only day off and I really needed this done today, they told me when I dropped it off it would be done in an hour. Why wouldn’t you just call me and tell me you were taking other cars in instead so I don’t waste 2 hours waiting for nothing? His reply was “Ya, well, I don’t take days off. ” That’s not my problem, and what does that even have to do with anything? What an irritating experience. Went to Great Canadian Oil Change in Schomberg instead. Much better service there. They changed my tires in 40 mins and they were so professional. I have upcoming service due… oil, filter and spark plugs. Definitely will NOT be going to Mr. Lube for this.

Got an oil change the day before I went on vacation. When I returned, I noticed a puddle of oil pooled under my car. I took it in to a repair shop and they had advised that whomever changed my oil had used a wrench and stripped the drain plug instead of using the proper tool. $200 later and I had to pay for their errors. Officially lost my business.

Horrible service and long wait times.additional add on services are 50% mark up compared to other repair shops. Just go somewhere else. None of these employees are certified mechanics.

Last visit. Oil leak on driveway 2 hours after service. On my back inspecting the oil plug…. Could loosen it with my fingers. Service there is getting worse. Won’t catch me again. Lesson finally learned.

The worst Mr Lube ever (Newmarket location)
I usually change the oil in Mr Lube, but this center has the worst manager, and after they delayed, They said we only change winter boots today. I do not suggest to anyone.they could tell me first not after 45 minutes.

I got my tiers swapped (winter to all-season) and balanced by Milad, and retorqued by Shawn. Service was prompt and effective, I didn’t have to wait very long (peak time on a week day). I will be returning in the future for other car issues I have!

Been coming to this location for over 10 years. Roman is the new manager and he runs an efficient shop that emphasizes customer service. He’s honest about what needs to get done and what can wait, saving me time and money in the long run.

Bobby the advisor was very helpful and directing me in what was wrong with my car and vish was very nice and Milad was also very kind and respectful towards not just me but every customer with greeting and other general services.

I had visited this location before for an oil change and they had upcharged me for a bunch of other things, seems they had taken advantage as I am a girl. So instead of just getting an oil change I had paid almost $300 in extra cost.

I wanted to give this location another chance. I had needed to patch a tire ($45 before tax) as I had a screw in it, so i went at 9: 30am as I had work at 1pm. They told me my tire was too old to be patched so it would be better to change the tire as a whole. I thought that was fair as I didn't want my tire to explode while driving. They asked if I had summer tires to use and advised me to get them since I live 5 minutes away, they would just give me 2 all season tires to replace the old tire without messing with the alignment. Before I left to get my tires They made sure I paid full price. $338. I got back around 11 and had to wait in line again. I thought they would have prioritized my car as I had already paid full price for the service. Instead they made me go back in line and I had expressed that I am on a time crunch, but no efforts to help that were made. The line beside me had about 4 cars done before they even finished mine. Even when my car finally got to the garage the workers kept working on the other 2 cars beside me. I felt neglected even though I had already paid full price and expressed I am on a time crunch to multiple workers. By the time they were done it was 1: 30pm.

A good car service company in Newmarket. If you have any car issues and need anything maintained, stop by here for some services. They offer a wide variety of services for your car needs. It is fast, reliable but the prices are sometimes be pricey.

Service here is so-so from the last few times I came here in the past. They weren't too professional but they do their jobs well here.

I came to for patch the tire. But they ask me first Do you wanna change he tire? I said no just I wanna patch he tire. They told me we don have big lift. Hy didn’t do it any thing

Came here to change my tires! The staff was super friendly, especially Bobby (the person responsible for the service) was super accommodating while I waited in my car fir 45 minutes. He even gave me a newspaper and water while I waited.

I’ve been going to this place for a couple of years because it’s close to home. I haven’t gone a single time where there wasn’t a problem with something. Beyond that there are other things, the employees are not hard working or professional. They don’t have good time management and half the time they’re equipment is not working. The reason I’m finally fed up and writing this review is what happened this year when my boyfriend and I tried to get our winter tires. We went WELL before closing time and had to come back THREE times because there were too many people in front of us. Which I think understand because many people need to get there tired changed right now. What I don’t understand was when I went to ask a couple questions why the employees were so defensive and rude. My boyfriend decided to give it one more shot and he waited in line for two hours just to be told they don’t have the right bolts to change his tires? ! He doesn’t have a very rare car or anything if it’s a little old but they did it last year and should have been more than equipped to deal with it. It was the last straw for us and we will be taking our business else where. Learn from our mistakes. Save your money time and the hair on your head and just go to else where.

After a 45 minute wait watching no body working. I was let in only for them to tell me they didn't have my part. I felt extremely bad for the guy getting his tires changed. I've never seen anyone that annoyed

Bad, terrible service. Too expensive and winter tires here suck. They charge way too much. I am sorry for the business owner how bad it is.

Waited for 3 hours to get my snow tires that were already on rims changed over. The young kid put me in the wrong line and at least 5 cars that arrived after me were serviced ahead of me. The young kid also barely wore his mask (it was around his chin pretty much the whole time) and 2 other team members also had their masks off. I have a 10 month old baby and at-risk family members with bad asthma. Another family member is a cancer survivor and we are trying to be careful about not getting COVID. The garage doors to the Mr Lube were closed and I really did not like being around people not wearing their masks. They did nothing to help make up for their mistake by keeping me waiting for 3 hours while other people went ahead of me. Then I’m in an enclosed area with their staff members who are not wearing their masks. They need to learn from the Mr Lube location in Toronto at DVP and Eglinton to see how to run a franchise. Very disappointed with this whole experience!

My husband visited your location at 5pm tonight to get an oil change and winter tires put on. He waited 3 hours. He watched as the service staff started turning away cars after him. Finally at 8pm he was told they couldnt help him tonight. After 3 hours of waiting he was turned away without the services. We regularly go to Mr. Lube (Newmarket) to get our services. NEVER AGAIN.
Change your practices. Yes, i get its first come first serve, but offer numbers to people so those who arrive first get in in order and allows better organization of people so the staff doesn't get confused as my husband witnessed a few cars get taken in who arrived after him due to the staff not properly organizing people.

Awful place. Made me wait 1.5 hours in one line, then closed the garage and tried to place at back of a seperate line which had 4 cars in it.

One of my tires broke on Friday and I brought my new pair of front tires to replace. This is my first try at Lubes and I am happy with their service. Teams were polite and let us know what we would be expecting. Appreciate that, thanks! The tech also told me I can bring the car back to retorque after replacement on Monday.:)

Staff is great and very helpful. Very reasonably priced as well and very accommodating. Dilpreet was Fantastic and helpful and will be requesting him from here on out to do my work.

My wife took in our Jeep Cherokee for an oil change and was also sold a differential fluid change. One day after this change, our vehicle was in the dealership for a new rear differential, this cost was over $3000.00, nothing was wrong with the vehicle before Mr Lube did this change

After speaking with the dealership where the vehicle was purchased and getting manufacturing proof on the fact that the differential fluid is lifetime and should NEVER be change, Mr Lube has decided they are not at fault because of what their computer states and calling around to confirm other versions of a story with different dealers and not listening to the dealership where the vehicle was purchased or manufacturer proof

AVOID this location and all cost, they will not own up to the damage they directly caused and instead are looking to deflect to any other reason but the fact nothing was wrong before Mr Lube did the differential change

I understand accidents happen, however not taking ownership for the mistake and leaving me with a bill over $3000.00 is unacceptable

You have been warned about this terrible business practice.

Poor service. Extremely disappointed with their service.
First, My wife goes for an oil change and they try and up sell her on spark plugs. She agrees and pays up front and tells them she will have to come back to have them installed.
She calls today and they tell her to come in.
They don't have the spark plugs in stock. How? , She paid for them already! What was going to be installed the day before and why did you accept payment for something you don't have?
We live in Angus and their shop is in newmarket. Twice we will have to drive there to get her spark plugs installed.

Nothing was offered for the inconvenience.
Poor service avoid at all costs.

Mr. Lube at 16630 Yonge Street in Newmarket has been doing my oil changes for the last couple years. Very friendly people and they get you in and out fast. Stopped in today with a rattle underneath my car that's been getting worse over the last few months. Turned out to be a broken heat shield. Though they couldn't do the full repair, they were able to remove the heat shield at no cost to me and told me how to go about getting it fixed. Very much appreciate their honesty and helpfulness.

The staff here is excellent and very professional would recommend to anyone in the area if they need a quick and perfect oil change and check for your car for you too.

This was the first time I had gone to get an oil change at this location. I had gone after work, and it was an absolutely fantastic expierence. I was helped by 3 individuals, George Luca, Ram. George and Luca answered all my questions, and even helped educate me on some of the things I didn't know about my car. They also provided great advice. They worked quickly, but thoroughly. I appreciated all their hard work.

I would highly recommend this location for their exceptional customer service.

These guys are the best Roman knows what he’s doing my 2014 jetta’s needed a proper maintenance check which would have cost me $1000 at Volkswagen shop but they charged me very less and did a great job.

Such a great service! Akshay was great and he made sure that everything was done as needed. Will definitely recommend to everyone!
