Pawan; When I came to the store, Yani welcomed me very well and changed my car's oil and everything without any problems. In other words, he is a very hardworking person at work, so he communicates well with the customers.
I went to this location with a flat tire. They told me they couldn’t fix it and that I needed another tire. I went to another location and they told me that they could fix it right away. They wanted me to pay $250 for a tire plus installation for something that required a $20 plug. I don’t understand anything about tires but in the words from the other technician “if they cannot fix this, they shouldn’t have tire repair as a service”.
Went in for an oil change. They talked so fast and kept asking me if I wanted all kinds of other services done. I couldn’t really understand if they were necessary or not. When I came home I realized they charged me $460 when I went in just for an oil change.
I think they purposefully talk fast and confuse you to upsell and make money.
If I go back I’m looking up the exact price of an oil change and say I only have that amount of money to spend.
Update: I went there in person and got my oil car changed, they're professional, friendly, the only issue was the lane that I was waiting in was so slow, I spent almost an hour, there was only one car ahead of me.they don't answer the phone.
These guys are fast didnt wait too long everyone was really friendly which i like. Thought i wouldnt get in to have oil change since there was a line of people but no just waited a few minutes.
Called them yesterday, and they said they don't do appointments, showed up this morning and there was a line (obviously) I said I was prepared to wait the guy told me it's a 6 hour wait and to come back, as I'm leaving he tells the car behind me it'll be 2 hours and to pull up and wait.if I could I'd give lower than 1 star
Don't bring an electric vehicle here. I was there before they opened and was the first customer to arrive but they wouldn't do my off-rim tire change. They told me to park to the side as they let other cars come in and told me I'd have to wait 6 hours to pick up my car. The worst part is they said I could be in an out within 30 minutes if I were to buy new tires from them. Thought it was first come first serve and no appointments.
I get it's a business and they won't make as much money without the upsells for gas cars but still scummy behavior from them. Complete waste of my time
The best employee at the workplace is sharan for oil change. He is very experienced and nice guy i have ever met at the workplace. He treated us with full of patience and energy.
Worst experience ever. They will try to upsell you on a million different ‘needs’ for your car. Staff got rude and aggressive when I wouldn’t provide my email for them to send me trash marketing
Changed my tires real quick! Got what I wanted and how I wanted it. Good guys working there, respectful and nice. No appointment needed which is awesome. Thank you for your service.
I m glad that I went to Mr. Lube for new tyre. I am very thankful to Yash, I got best deal compared to other top in store and online providers. They gave me best and friendly service and also got coupons for next time oil change. I highly recommend my friends to visit them for service.
I bought new car and had first service to change oil. I didn’t know anything about it so they sold me to change all the oils in Honda include transmission. Sold me everything possible. What a shame. I came home checked and now I see that I didn’t have to change that. Paid approximately 700 bucks.
I’ve been to many Mr. Lubes across Ontario and this one is by far the best when it comes to customer service and car service! I was being helped by Simar and Sunil amazing guys very polite and helpful!
They prioritize their customers based on the price of their services lmao i couldn't imagine they asked me to go back of the line when u was already waiting 25 mins only for another customer who was paying more and waiting long on another queue
The guys working here are always very helpful, pleasant and genuinely seem like nice people. Last I was here I just needed to check my oil levels were good and there wasn't any issue with my car because I was going to go on a long drive and was helped out by Romeo who said my oil was a tad low and topped me up (complimentary!), gave my car a check and sent me on my way. There wasn't much to be done on my car anyway but he still didn't charge me for the time. I've been a mr.lube customer for almost 10 years now and have only ever had positive experiences with the staff and service. I think the prices are pretty fair. I'm sure I could find somewhere to go to save a few bucks but the customer service is really what keeps me around.
Ok let me start to begin with save yourself some time and dont go here! Yesterday I found out that there is a nail in my tire but it wasn’t flat, my car is 4 months old (literally brand new) the guy said its not fixable and has to be changed, i said ok do so… And then he came back and said because its the front tire you need to change the other one too (the one that didn’t have any problems) i said the car is brand new why would i do such thing, he said because the tire is old and the car wont balance! My car was 2022 CLA and my tires havent even been used for 2000km! He thought Im a girl and I don’t understand these stuff so i left! Took the car to the actual Mercedes benz dealership and they only changed the tire with the nail in it! He literally tried to rip me off, this is not ok! How are you even allowed to do business!?
I had an excellent experience in servicing my vehicle here. I need a quick oil change, cabin air filter, and wiper blades changed. It was easy to schedule the appointment and get the work done quickly. I will be back for future needs and recommend folks to give it a try.
It was great experience visiting this place. My tires was flat and needed to tow my car to this place. It was there closing time still the guy name Romiyo did my required services and the manager Sunil was kindly enough to offer their some discounts on my others services. For me this is highly recommended place for ur car services.
I've been here a few times and they still employ an extremely aggressive upsell tactic (rust proofing, filters, etc). This time was different because I requested a basic oil change, which I mentioned a few times, but was given and charged a premium synthetic oil package. Not sure how 'basic oil' could be confused with 'synthetic premium oil' but that was the mechanic's reasoning. After mentioning this to the manager, they could only muster an apology then sent me on my way. I will not be returning, but buyer beware!
Gautam, kamal and gaurav are excellent guys. They are very polite and helping and they serviced my elantra very fast and i am very much satisfied by their job! Keep up the good work guys!
Charged for services added on, while being straight up lied to about the price before agreeing. If you are not a car expert, this place WILL rip you off. Almost want to dispute the charges with my bank but I guess I technically agreed to the service, so if you want to avoid this situation then avoid this location
Call an spoke with customer service and when I showed up two hours to closing the mechanic walk out and started asking customer to leave. Very professional service over the phone and in person. They waste my time and they owe me gas money.
I go to this Mr. Lube often as I am always happily surprised by how good their service is. I had an oil change done and it was done very quickly and my mechanic Khurram was a professional through and through. I arrived right in the morning and Khurram greeted me warmly and made me feel welcomed. He did a full 20 point inspection. He went above and beyond when he told me about regular car maintenance that I can do to better take care of my car. He is always giving out helpful knowledge to me and I don't get that service anywhere else. He is very knowledgeable about other car products that I have questions about and freely gives me his opinion on which products to go for. I trust Khurram every time I bring my vehicle in the shop. I would recommend Khurram for all car needs.
Romeo was a delight! I needed to get my tail lights changed and he was very professional, great value and did it quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend seeing Romeo when you come here!
Employees purposely confused me and upsold me for many services that were unneeded and overcharge for these services as well. It is unlikely that I will be returning to this mr lube based on the service I received. Useful lesson to learn that they will try their best to screw you over. I recommend you to decline any additional services they suggest no matter how insistent they are!
Bought a used car and was changing the plates and the plastic bolts broke, couldn't get the plates on and needed them on that day. Pulled into the lot and one of the employees immediately came up to me, saw the issue and found a couple of old bolts that fit perfectly. Gave them to me for free and insisted on installing them himself too. Took all of 5 minutes and this was at an extremely busy time (lot was completely full of people getting tires changed for winter). Extremely helpful and wonderful service!
I called today at 11 to confirm that they would change tires not on rims and the person on the phone said “yes, absolutely come any time and we will do it” so that same day I drove 40 minutes across town and went in at 6pm (2 hours before closing), waited my turn in line and pulled into the garage bay only be told “you mustn’t have told him they weren’t on rims. We don’t do it. Leave. ”
Very short and rude staff that wouldn’t listen to me and then pushed me out. I will definitely never be returning to this location.
This is my second time in Mr. Lube Spadina and the truth is I'm very pleased all those qualified mechanics worker's Mr. Rishi and their team are doing an excellent and outstanding job. For sure that is my choice place for maintenance my car.
I came in for an oil change last minute. I was very surprised by the professionalism and customer service I got from a Mr Lube. The technician Sound was very detailed with his explanation of what else my car needed. I was in and out in 20 minutes with an oil change and a quick diagnostic. Thanks for the kind service
️OVERFILLED OIL. It was my first time here. I usually go to my mechanic but this location was close by and wanted to give them a fair chance. After driving 2,000 km I was curious to see if my oil is burning but I found out my oil was 1 inch above the maximum marker. I can’t believe this. How can someone mess up a simple oil change. If I didn’t randomly check, I would have probably destroyed my engine. I don’t even know if there is any extended damage. I went back to have it drained and all they told me is sorry and gave $15 off my next oil change. That’s a joke this could have easily could have cost me a brand new engine.
Very friendly staff and the newspaper/wifi is a good touch. They are fine for an oil change but don’t get your tires changed here. For my car they changed the tires but they didn’t calibrate the tire pressure gauge (and didn’t know how to), so I had to take it to the dealership anyway. Would have saved time by just going to the dealership in the first place.
Awful, Awful service. Rude employees and very poorly managed. We barely have to beg for perform a service and when they finally do, it's poorly done (ridiculously high tire pressures). My wife returned to simply fix the tire pressure issue (after we changed the tired at this branch) and she was treated even worse.
Find some other place to get your service done, especially if you're a woman.
Very friendly and accommodating. Romeo will not overcharge you and explains in detail what your car needs and what services you can wait to have done. Honest mechanics.
My husband and I drove into this location right at closing with a flat tire to the rim with our son and dog with 2 other boys waiting at home with Lolo and Lola during the last storm.
ROMEO and others changed our tire to the spare within 10 mins and we were on our way. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE GREAT SERVICE and kindness that is so pleasant to still see even at the end of the day right at closing.
The last thing you need on a Sunday morning- after a 5-hour drive from home- is a sudden weird noise and odour coming from under the hood. Romeo was a godsend-he personally showed me the issue and made a brief adjustment, so that I could at least get back home safely without further and much more costly damage. Tremendously grateful for Romeo and staff. May God bless you!
Went to Mr. Lube and the East Indian guy that was doing an emissions test on my Porsche lied to me and performed a test on my car that I had not wanted. He charged my credit card before he gave me the report. I specifically requested a tail pipe test. I guess that's why they recommend that you stay in your car so that you can not see what they're doing. I was upset and then he tried to open my car door when I was trying to drive out. Im assuming he was trying to assault me or damage my vehicle. I should have called the police.
I came in to get my oil changed they close at 8 I got there about 10 to 8 on Wednesday April 24th I honestly expected to be turned away because it was so close to closing time but the staff was just so amazing they're so polite they check everything they update you on your status of your car the service is just absolutely wonderful I truly appreciate mr. Loops employees they do a magnificent job thank you
Great location! ROMEO was really helpful and nice and was able to figured out a problem that I was having with car! I would definitely recommend going there and looking for him!
Great service here. Oil change, diffs serviced and tires changed in less than 45 minutes, even though the hoist couldn’t handle my vehicle and they had to do it manually. And no extra unnecessary upsells, always appreciated.
Mukul and the crew swapped my tires, and performed an oil change in a timely manner, without feeling rushed. He explained everything that the car was due for and why. He also told me what he didnt think I needed, which is nice to not feel like constant upselling. I was told about a great rust proof promotion and all the prices and services were on a screen outside the driver door so I could see what I was paying for. Mr Lube in general feels transparent, and this particular crew seemed to enjoy their work. The manager Romeo checked up on me on my way out to make sure everything was satisfactory, which as per usual, it was!
So bad service! My wife been there for an oil change and also they changed the spark plug of the car, so! When my wife just got home a lots of smoke it was coming out from the car chest and also leaking lots of oil! People don’t go there.
I like this Mr. Lube for its Spadina and Eglinton location. The staff is fine, but they are easily annoyed and have a hard time hiding how much they dislike customer service. This location generally has a better staff than other locations though IMO.
I always leave feeling like I’m not taking good care of my car and confused as to what services are most important to get done, if any, because they always pick something different to be in “urgent” need of servicing. Because of this, I have a rule not to do any services other than an oil change. I love to go home and cost out what a reasonable price for each service would be. Most recently, they offered to change my spark plugs for $139+ It turns out I can do that myself for $25-$40.
My worst experience at this location was one of the attendants preparing my invoice with an actively bleeding finger that made me cringe, especially seeing how dirty his hands were. Someone get this man a band-aid! I certainly don’t mind waiting for that.
I did my emission test on this location and ROMEO did a great service. He cleaned my windows, checked my tire pressure and etc. He offered me coffee at the same time while I'm waiting. THIS IS THE BEST SEVICE I'VE EVER HAD.and I will surely come back for my car service maintenance. Good Job.
DO NOT GO TO THIS MR. LUBE! ZERO STARS just boosting for placement! They killed the engine on my beloved, pristine 1988 Ford Aerostar which is now deemed a write off before reaching 100,000km. I have a wife and an 8 month son who were both in the car when it happened. We have had no vehicle during this horrendous winter and have received insultingly low offers as compensation.
I took my van in for a simple oil change on December 12,2018 and while in the garage, one of their technicians encouraged me to get a coolant flush (also known as a radiator flush). I was told my van’s Glycol levels were high and he showed me the numbers on his gauging device. As my vehicle is a maintained 31 year old van I clarified with the technician whether this diagnostic was actually beneficial to such an old vehicle, to which he assured me it was. I paid $374.81 for an oil change, a rust coat and coolant flush all in good faith that I was preserving my classic vehicle.
Three days later, after minimal driving, my van overheated and broke down. I checked the coolant reservoir and it was BONE DRY. Whether they neglected to screw something back on or just plainly forgot to refill the coolant there wasn’t a drop of coolant in my van.
I called for the manager at Mr. Lube and alerted him of my situation, requesting a mechanic to come and look at my van, to which he assured me it would be safe to DRIVE back to his garage for this check up. I couldn’t believe he had suggested that! After a couple days of chasing him down via phone two technicians from this Mr. Lube finally came to look at my van, and they didn’t even bring enough coolant for the check up and used mine instead. It was clear very early on that something was seriously wrong and they knew it. They suggested taking my van to their Scarborough location where their licensed mechanic could clarify the damage. Once again they proposed I DRIVE the 25km on a DAMAGED OVERHEATED ENGINE. Infuriated, I declined and insisted they provide a tow to their mechanic, which they did.
After looking the vehicle over, I was notified that my van had a blown head gasket and potentially, several warped cylinders. Essentially not drivable and in need of a complete engine rebuild.
The course of events that followed this diagnosis have been long and arduous and my correspondence with Munazir, the manager at Mr Lube, has been shockingly uncooperative, unprofessional and unsympathetic. This is still an ongoing battle, but to conclude, Mr. Lube accepted responsibility for the damage done, then decided not to accept the responsibility and handed off the issue to their insurance company who eventually deemed my van a write off and worth a mere $2000 where it would cost approximately $6500 to do the repairs needed to get the van back on the road. Their appraisal came from Kijiji ads. In addition to this shocking blow, Mr Lube have only agreed to refund the money for the offending coolant flush service and not the oil change etc. I paid for. This offer has since been revoked. Tell me, WHAT GOOD IS AN OIL CHANGE ON A DEAD ENGINE, any service really? ! Thanks for the free newspaper, inhumane treatment, and costly property damage Mr. Lube. I can assure you that this matter is far from over.

Polite, friendly, and efficient service. My car needed servicing badly and these guys did a great job - taking care of all the problems but not pushing things on me that could wait.
