Mr. Lube

Got a synthetic oil change. I was given an explanation of items to due for replacement or service without the usual upselling. Got shown actual oil from a sealed jug, not just pumped in from a generic hose (been ripped off this way before). Thanks to AJ for a prompt pleasant experience.

I always come to this location for service, never have to wait very long. Matt did a great job on my spark plugs, got it done in record time.

I use this Mr Lube branch for my car's regular service.
Today, my car didn't start in Walmart car park and it was an obvious battery problem. I called them and Nathan answered my call. He recognized my car model through the plate number and stayed with me very patiently and professionally until he gave me full specs of my battery (which I had no clue about!) while I was in the batteries section of Walmart. The problem is always to identify the correct battery type. I bought the battery, installed it myself (easy to do) and drove home.
Nathan- Thank you, you are the example of the professional, customer oriented staff that any service provider would look for.

Was in there today for an Oil change. I was seen by TAZZ and wanted to give a shout out to great customer service skills. If he was unsure about something, he would ask a senior serviceman or look it up. I appreciate that he double checked all levels and pressures and topped up what needed to be topped up even after a thorough double check.

Snapped a valve stem down the street. Took me right in and had me squared away in minutes. Quick, honest and good crew at the location!

Recently went to get a quick oil change on my 2021 vehicle. While I understand the need to try and upsell it really isn't necessary when customer says all they want is an oil change. This location used to be super quick and now it takes 45 minutes. I will go back to my dealership as same cost.

These guys either don't know what they're doing, or their attention to detail is horrible. I went here for an oil change a few weeks ago because I was in a rush. Everything seemed fine, until I noticed oil stains on my driveway. I look under my car and there is oil all over the undercarriage and literally dripping from the oil pan.

If you value your vehicle, I would suggest you take it elsewhere. I'd leave 0 stars if I could.

Given them a few chances now. Always something with them, turn over, etc.not sure why they can't get it together. I get its easier, faster, etc.then traditional mechanic shops but for sure more frustrating dealing with Mr. Lube. Its a pain to book appointments for traditional mechanics but quality of work is much better. Seems like Mr. Lube is a training ground and any of their good techs leave for better opportunities.

I came in with a sudden noise in my tires. It was a simple issue yet very hard to find out. DJ helped me with it. He is very professional and friendly

The worst experience I ever had! Mr sores was not professional at all yelling at customers being very rude, I came in to change to
Summer tires and left worse then I came in they did something wrong and went back waited 2 hours and nothing was resolved, sores the rude worker said we don’t have all day u got to leave while so understaffed workers were drained I could see why they mess up sores needs to step down if he don’t like his job $90 gone to garbage never ever again you lost 2 customers

Went here during the summer for a oil change, no complaints other than being told it would cost $150 and not being offered any other oil options… until now. I went to Jiffy Lube this time for a oil change and the mechanic wasn’t able to change my oil because of what MrLube did last time I got my oil changed. Attached is a photo of the oil drain cap. The lovely gentleman used all his strength and wasn’t able to remove the cap because of how tight the employees at MrLube did it last time. Now I have to go to my own mechanic and get them to use a extractor to remove it, and who knows how much that will cost!
Please train your employees better. A customer shouldn’t have to pay out of pocket to fix something your employees have done.

Long time customer, very satisfied. I have a full service history at my fingertips and love being able to wheel in, stay in the car and be fully serviced in a short time by great technicians.

Awful service at this, Mr. Luke would not recommend coming, probably would mess up your car as well

This team was excellent! Had my air & cabin filter changed and then noticed that my fan got louder. I brought it back the next day and they found the small stray leaves that had fallen into the hard-to-access fan housing and were able to rectify the situation by problem solving on the spot.

Love Mr Lube, never rip you off or talk you into stuff you don't need. And they check your car from head to toe!
In again recently to fix a slow leak in a tire, in and out in no time.

Outstanding customer service, DJ was amazing and helpful. Any questions I had he explained to me with no judgement and even gave me heads up on a few things to look out for. Will absolutely be back.

I only give 1star because I will never go again, when I was there I was “directed” by Paulo, he was very bossy with what decisions I should make with my car, he tried to upsell me $200 worth of inventory. He was also very unhygienic and stinky. At one point I had to hold my breathe when he came by my window.

Can't thank Tony and the guys enough. I had to stop on my journey to the airport because of a loud knocking noise. They found that one of my tires was very loose. They were fantastic, very reassuring, courteous and so professional. They fixed it up, checked all tires and didn't charge me a penny. Thank you from one very grateful, stressed out lady.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. One of my lug nuts was missing after a recent tire change. The shop stayed open a little later so I could get there. The guys checked all the nuts and found them loose. So they took all the tires off and put them on again properly. I am so thankful they saved me from having an accident. Even though I live in east Mississauga, I will be bringing all business here in the future. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I get my seasonal tire & oil change here. It' always goes without any trouble. The mechanics are always friendly!

I've gone to multiple Mr Lube. But this one is the best and most consistent shop.

The staff is friendly and professional. While other Mr Lube seems to be about the bottom end, the staff here are the best.

I could not be more pleased with the Mr. Lube on Appleby Line in Burlington. Received exceptional service that was both quick and efficient. My attendant, Jai, was an absolute legend. 10/10 would recommend!

These guys are one of the best mr. Lubes I have went to. They really care about their customer and won't tell u something to buy if not needed. Their manager creates a great workplace as well and you can see how involved he is with everything. I have another Mr. Lube that is closer to me but i prefer to go to this one just Becuase of the service I receive! They do tire storage as well

Excellent service! I was here a few days ago for a flat tire and was treated with the best customer service. First I was greeted by Jai who was very friendly and professional, then his manager who was quite informative about tire purchases. I also dealt with Mohammad Makar and Joe. Everyone here is incredibly professional and efficient. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. I would definitely recommend this place!

These guys are crooks. My wife took my 2019 vehicle with 60,000 km in for an oil change and they told her there was almost no oil in the engine and advised her it needed a $25 engine flush to clean out the engine. I know for sure that the oil level was normal as i just checked it 2 days ago when I topped up the washer fluid and there were also no warning lights indicating an engine or oil pressure issue. Some manufacturers recommend that you don't use engine cleaner as the solvents can damage the seals. It is pretty sad when companies like this prey on people that trust the advice they are given. I will not return to this shop again.

This Mr. Lube is the best. I had an impossible situation with some tires and rims I purchased from facebook and Maggie the manager, made it all work out. She's knowledgeable, experienced and helped me with my tire situation. Evan installed the tires and did so with ease and a smile on his face. Thank you Evan. I and sorry for the trouble would've been easier to turn me away but they went over and beyond. This is not the closest location to me but I will drive out of the way to come here and get work done to my car! Thank you for the awesome customer service.

Had to replace summer on winter tires today.tires are on rims.it took two people for 30 min.plus they have a hidden fee of $4 to add to a bill.total waste of time.manager Maggie does not care and is rude.dont go there people.recall with previous owner 10 min to swap tires with smile and coffee.

Have reliably been coming here for over a year now. Excellent work done by my technician Joe for my snow tires change. Could not ask for more. Would recommend to anyone.

Slow experience, all I witnessed was an employee walking off talking to a girl who got an oil change. Flirting with her for an hour, ignoring other employees asking for help. He would look at them, see them asking him for help directly. Without replying he would look back at the girl and continue chatting with the girl in the car. The employees name may have bee. Joseph or Jonas, he had black hair. Roughly 20-30. At one point he even stopped doing the next oil change to go off and keep chatting the with previous girl.

was kind, courteous and pushing for speed and service while his staff weren't much help to him. I'll go back for his service alone.

Crew kept trying to lift the truck (stock f150) and had to keep trying over and over again lifting the truck, then putting it back down. Finally got it right after 30 mins. Unfortunately not an exaggeration the entire process took roughly 45 mins to lift the truck and rotate tires.

Will update review at my next oil change.

Went there a few days ago, the quality and speed of the service was absolutely amazing. Joe and Steven were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend this establishment, and highly recommend these two employees.

Had a good experience at Mr. Lube (on Appleby Line, Burlington). The mechanic/sales agent Youssef demonstrated great customer service. It was a pleasure to speak to Youssef, and he showed great kindness and patience.

Unfortunately the Manager was not able to meet our needs and make the deal (i.e. Negotiate on the price). Youssef and the Manager was nice enough to throw away our old tire. Will come back here again if the price is right.

I called in quick today to see if I could get a quick oil change, the staff was extremely fast and professional. Youssef was great at answering my questions about the service done today. I have been to a few different Mr. Lubes around the area and I appreciate the way this one is located was easy to enter and leave the building. 10/10 would recommend this location!

Excellent service. I was in for an oil change and they cleaned my windows, break lights, fluids, and tire pressure for no additional charge. Youssef was very professional and quick, and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this Mr. Lube location to anyone who need quick and quality service.

I had a low oil pressure gauge go off. Simply needed a top up which they provided quickly and professionally. Very friendly and

I came to get an oil change, which they did just fine, but while I was there I was told I needed a new air filter for my car. I don't know much about cars, so when they charged me $100 for the air filter I didn't figure anything was wrong. Turns out this was a huge scam. These air filters normally cost around $15. I know auto shops have a reputation for doing this kind of thing, but I thought a large company like Mr. Lube might have more integrity. Very disappointed that I was ripped off like that.

Came in to have my tires switched from winters to summers. Joe was the gentleman that looked after me. He was kind, and went way above and beyond, he took his time and explained things my car needed and answered all my questions. He was amazing and the service was excellent!

This store seems to upsell/upcharge on basically all services, whether you may need it/definitely never will need it. They do not meet standard auto service level, so would not recommend; you can get better service elsewhere.

First time here at Mr. Lube and I have to say the service here is exceptional! Very kind and friendly staff. In particular a young man named Joe serviced my van and his detailed check of my vehicle made the proceess of getting an oil change so great! I will be coming back to this location next time I need an oil change and highly recommended them!

Dj the manager and his staff are amazing at the Appelby location. He always goes the extra mile and very knowledgeable and explains what is going on with my vehicle. Been going here for while. I was turned away today for a tire change just south of here at Jiffy lube at 3: 41 p.m. After waiting in line for 10 minutes behind 2 other cars, saying that they take their last car at 3: 40.considering they close at 5: 00 p.m. They might want to advertise that I told them I drove from half an hour away and work on shift the next 7 days and they still wouldn't take me. Also noteworthy the car beside me pulled up in front of me to go into the bay that I was waiting in front of which was the tire change Bay. I think given that circumstance they shouldn't have turned me away.

So I called Mr lube just north of them and explained the situation of what happened to make sure the same thing didn't happen to me again, and he said we don't turn people away until we're closed so as long as you're here before 5: 00 p.m. We will do your tires.
Now that's how a business should work.

I went in today for an oil change today and I had the pleasure of dealing with Youssef. He was extremely knowledgeable about an older BMW and what they require. He gave the car an excellent inspection and I followed the recommendations he had for us. I would absolutely recommend Youssef and Mr. Lube on Appleby Line.

I have been using this Mr Lube for years, they always provide great service and the staff are professional. Highly recommended.

Remember when service was Canadian? Real, not automated, people who looks after you, make your day.remember that? Well hands down I couldn't believe it! I was not just a quick sale.these folks made it personal, I felt like they went that extra mile just so my vehicle is safe. I can't thank you all enough for such quality service.

I had my brake lights replaced. Thomas was helpful and friendly. When things got a bit more complex due to a an extra bulb being in the housing, other staff with smaller fingers pitched in and ultimately, their store manager DJ took the reins. Perfect just in time for Christmas eve drive!

My boyfriend and I have been using mr lube for many years for our oil change services. We’ve been to multiple locations and the appleby and dundas location is by far our favorite. We can’t express enough how much we love Gary. He takes such amazing care of my boyfriends Audi. He consistently goes above and beyond when we pull in to the shop. Thank you Gary for your effort and service. We travel from Stoney creek just to see him and the incredible staff.

I have always been pleased with this location and have recommended them to family and friends. My father had his tires changed and was extremely pleased with the quality and speed of the service. Today I was in to have my tires changed and have a headlight replaced. I was some what concerned because the headlights are very difficult to change. Maddie replaced the headlight and thoroughly checked the car. I also had the engine filter replaced after seeing what the existing filter looked like. Thank you Maddie for the excellent customer service!

I came by for a quick oil change and I didn't have to wait. Service tech was great. He even ended up fixing a seperate gas mixture sensor issue while changing the oil. Very pleased with the service provided. I highly recommend and will be back.

I have always been quite impartial or indifferent to certain types of services or products (e.g. Where I get an oil change done or where I pump my gas).

So personally, to drive out my way or to postpone something as generic as an oil change means the service, prices, management and staff are exceptional as in the case of Gary (Manager of Appleby Line, Burlington Mr. Lube) and his team.

I've been servicing my vehicle in that particular location for the last 5 years or more.

I haven't ran into any issues or concerns regarding any service I've ever had there. Any questions I have no matter how small, simple or possibly even tedious, Gary and his team take the time to answer them and put my worries to rest.

Aside from this even when a particular service or product wasn't available (e.g. Auto body repair) they provided useful information and suggestions that I actually used and didn't regret!

The atmosphere has always been very professional and laid-back which is a very rare combination for a successful business.

I've seen that location packed up with vehicles and customers on numerous occasions and Gary's team always manages to get things done in a timely manner while not effecting quality of service and somehow keeping the overall atmosphere calm and relaxed.

I went to the Appleby location to have my tires swapped out. When I arrived, there were only four cars waiting, and three bays working, which should have meant fairly quick service. It was over an hour before I was next in line. As I watched the car before me being serviced (also a tire change, with winter tires on rims) it was like they were in slow motion. The store was filled with employees, but everything was taking far too long. I let them know that I was unhappy, and (surprise!) they had me out in less than ten minutes. Why should customer have to get angry to get proper service? I will not be using this location again.
