I recently had a positive experience at Mr. Lube. The staff was efficient and friendly, providing quick service for my vehicle. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, making the overall experience pleasant. I appreciate their professionalism and would recommend Mr. Lube for their excellent customer service and timely automotive care.

He was personable and very thorough in his communications. He took pride in communicating thoroughly.

I was not able to completely follow all of the technical aspects of conversation and because of this reason I found myself authorizing an engine flash service for 29.99 and was not aware that I did so.

I took responsibility for this by mentioning it, probably was my ability to not follow/understand technical, mechanical information.

Wayne also wanted to take responsibility, and pull the manager in for discussion and result, they agreed that they wanted to provide an additional discount for the engine flush service.

These things happen in the real world, and how you own up to them, makes the world of difference and says a lot about integrity!

I look forward to having Wayne continually work on my vehicle, and his smile is worth it!

Quick and efficient services provided by Saad. It was my first time and will be my go-to quick auto-repair shop.

I think their business model is weird. It promotes the sales guy to not do any service if you aren't purchasing any other service. I have two cars and for both on separate occasions they have recommended me to not do my engine oil change. I suspect because I haven't purchased any of their other services. Someone who comes in just to get engine oil change without being upsell or up sold is a detractor on their record.

Service was really great and courteous. Great work from Adarsh and his fellow mates. Keep going.

I went simply to check my tire pressure because the tire pressure warning light came on. I tried putting air in myself but that didn't fix the issue as my light remained on. I went to Mr. Lube to quickly check the air pressure and the first tech checked and was trying to send me off with the light still on but along came Wayne. He asked me what was wrong and rechecked my tire pressure and refilled my tires going a few psi higher to better perform in this winter cold. He managed to get the light off on my dash and sent me off more aware of my tires. Thank you Wayne!

Went to get my winter tires swapped on. One had a hole so I informed them that I would need to purchase 1 tire.
Was told that I cannot purchase 1 as the thread would wear unevenly. Told them I was fine with this but they wouldn't sell me 1 tire.

Went to another location and got the tires swapped and was able to purchase the 1 tire I needed with no issues.

Wait 3 hours.to get tires and oil changed. Nobody came out and told me what line to go in. When I get to the front they say wrong line. Let 3 cars go ahead of me. Say "go next to middle" and some other guy goes and they take him. Like they don't know how to organize this place at all. On top of this, I had a 50% off oil change, but it was at the Lawrence location. I called this one before hand to ask if it's ok and they never said anything about the location mattering. So they wouldn't honour it here

Came in for an oil change. Needed a new air filter after inspection. When I tried to start my car afterwards the battery was dead. I was told it was faulty and that I needed a new one. I had never had a problem with my battery before and now, all of a sudden, it started acting up in the shop? I asked them to jump start me and that I would take my chances and my battery is operating perfectly fine again. I understand up selling but this was deceptive.

Brought my pick up truck hear to get oil change and 1 price turned into another price and then my battery not working I’ll never go back to this place

Upselling, also they are taking high price for low mileage oil. Did not do any sort of courtesy check. When I asked whether they checked my engine air filter they answered there are too much plastics to remove to check that for which they cant check it, like what! Never coming back

So my wife took her SUV in for a regular oil change. Before she went I told her they will try there best to upsell you especially if they see a women. So she went there and surprise surprise they try telling her the air filter is dirty blah blah blah, in the process of taking out the filter they ripped it! So my wife called me and told me, so I said they broke it they have to replace it. I spoke to 3 of them at the store including the manager which went nowhere. Manager even juts walked away from the phone while I was talking, so disrespectful and bad customer service. They thought I was trying to get a free filter, which I didn’t first off I juts wanted them to fix what they broke as they should. Anyways. I juts told my wife to forget it because they are heartless people and don’t care about there job or there customers. And I also didn’t want them to do anything to the vehicle as that’s the vibe they give is Very malicious people who don’t care! She had a coupon for free wipers blades as well they changed our old one with there “new ones” that day was rainy as well so as she leaves she is using the wiper blades and they don’t even work lol this place is a joke man. They really need to teach there employees better customer skills and stop robing people, it’s bad business. And please to the owner I don’t want your automatic same apology comment you send to everyone. I am simply writing this because this place is very heartless and very unprofessional. Only way to help me is to give me a refund. What a joke of a place!

I have been coming here for years and the mechanics are always nice, but every time I dread the up sell that I will receive. However the point of mr lube is quick efficient oil changes… today upon arrival I waited 20 mins (that’s fine it’s a walk up appointment you can’t control that), upon pulling into the bay I was told 20 mins as usual and I’d be out (as it was only an oil change). I was there for 55 minutes! For an oil change that should take 20, making it almost 1.5 hours for an oil change- outrageous for an on the go place. I’ve had faster service with more work at the dealership for less money. If you think this is going to be in and out or you a pressed for time I would not recommend

This location is the worst Mr Lube I’ve been too. After waiting over 45 minutes in line they tell me they don’t have the correct oil for my car. The manager, Aly Jiwa, then approached my car with attitude telling me there is nothing he can do. I asked him if he could order the oil and I could come back later in the evening to get my oil change done. I never heard back from Aly Jiwa and after trying multiple times calling the store there is no answer. I would not recommend this location. This location went downhill as soon as the old manager Jonathan left. BRING BACK JON!

Whatever happened to "welcome to Mister Lube, would you like a coffee or whatever and here's a newspaper? " "Can I help you? " was said to me with an expression that made the question see like "what do you want. ' Body language with no smile. I'm going somewhere else. If someone from Mr. Lube is reading this, you should have a suggestion for someone who first in line and presented with a half hour wait. Covid may have messed up offering water and coffee, but off the top of my head.a Tim's gift card for two dollars could be presented with a "hey get a coffee and come back, " or something. Instead, your grumpy, poorly trained employee turned me OFF of Mr. Lube this morning. I'll be going somewhere else, even if I need an appointment.

Been coming here for my tire changes etc.last visit was stressful as I was on a budget. They offered this program right on the spot with "Paybright". Was convenient as it offers a payment arrangement. Since the tires I had brought with me were bare, I needed new tires, so they provided me with a quote and I used "Paybright" to set up an arrangement. Do not put your life at risk without safe tires. Thanks guys!

Horrible! I waited in line like everyone else and when I went in a person in the adjacent line to me complained that I got to go in first before them and I was asked to leave and go to the back of the line. I didn't even make a scene. I just left horrible customer service. I followed the line and was waved in.wasted 30 minutes of my life. Never coming back

Nakul is the guy, anytime you have concerns or questions he is very helpfull and people here are very profesional, i recommed to do service at this location.

When I got here I was serviced by Ravneel he was extremely nice and made sure I got all the services required, I had shot brakes but didn’t know he made sure to replace them properly and didn’t overcharge me for anything extra. He was kind and made my experience here enjoyable.

Terrible customer service … they recommend you all useless stuff and just want to steal off you … Once you go there to check tire pressure / change something they make you wait crazy hours … Recommend not to use this location …

Avoid this MR LUBE, Go to another one.

First the wait was approximately 2 hours and you will realize why. Half the time spent doing the service was trying to upsell and place unknown charges (pay attention to their screen prompt). None of these extra charges were effectively communicated nor were complimentary checks done. They constantly stopped what they were doing to talk to each other. The floor staff lacks professionalism and is of younger age.

People go to Mr Lube for convenience and for the peace of mind for service. I feel unsafe with my vehicle opposed to the service done at other Mr Lubes. Very disappointed as this Mr Lube used to be of prime.

I have been there for oil change and they said my vehicle has oil leak and it need to be fixed asap. I said i dont want to fix it and since then my vehicle started showing minor oil leaks and last day it spill out alot. I went to a service station yesterday to fix it, thinking that they were right. But it turns out that they didnot close my drain plug and filter and that was the reason. I lost almost 2 and half litres and It affected my engine really bad. Be careful at this location people.

The Guy named Nakul was really nice guy went for an oil change and tire swap oil change was a bit expensive so didn’t do it. But there was a guy who took the tires from my trunk scratch my rear bumper. I was in the car but still asked them if I can help them said its their job. When you ended up removing the paint from my car I just wished I should have done without them than ending up with the scratch. So its the Last and first time Mr Lube is gonna see me as there customer as well as my friends too. Totally disappointed and I don’t need any call back from you in regard with removing this post. If you ended up comments on the issue I will suggest to check you camera.

I rarely make reviews but felt I had to share my disappointing experience here so others can avoid the same.

I always go to Mr. Lube to get my winter tires put on and decided to go to this location this year. I noticed the total amount I was paying was higher than last year. When asked, the employee Nakul said the cost of the service increased. After I paid, I received the detailed invoice and noticed that the service itself did not increase but an extra "shop fee" was charged. I told Nakul why he didn't tell me about this shop fee charge, he said "all Mr. Lube locations" charge it. I showed him my receipt from last year with no such charge and he claimed that all franchises are different. They also installed the tires in a different orientation than what I originally labelled.

So apparently at this location they charge you more than others and are not fully transparent with all the fees they are about to charge you.

I would avoid coming here unless you like overpaying for poor service.

Jon and Wayne have taken care of my old car on two separate occasions and both times I have been impressed by their service. The usually upselling is going to be there, but the recommendations are sound and reasonable. For people who might not understand good car maintenance, they might feel uneasy. If you want definitive proof, look at car reviews at other locations. You'll find that this location has proportionately higher ratings. Thanks again guys. You guys are the shining example of the brand.

I went there for an Oil change, my service advisor Syed Nakul was very experienced and he did a great job with the best Customer Service I ever had anywhere.

This location just loved up selling.please be careful when they start recommending, you might not even need the service. I usually take my car to the dealership and half the time my mechanic tells me I don't require half the recommendation given by this location. I am DONE GOING HERE!

Place is overcharged. Asked me for $39.99 for a single tyre balancing (the tech told it's $39.99 per tyre specifically). Service centers charge max for $60 for four tyres. Do not recommend

I dont appreciate the sales push they do. I feel bad for the technicians as I know they are told to do so but its a really bad look. Have visited this place twice for a oil change but each time left with paying four times what I had in mind because they push you to change or replace something unnecessary. I would recommend if you go to this place then make your mind before that what you want done or else if you are someone who is not talkative then you will find it hard to say No to so many things they will throw your way so fast.

I don’t usually do reviews but this time I will, I usually bring my car to this location for my oil change, they usually try to upsell me unwanted products. This time I went in to have some air put into my front right tire as it seemed to be losing air, I knew there was a small nail in there, asked if they could fix it, he lied and said there was a big gash in the tire and it was sideways and impossible to fix, after which he tried to sell me tires. I went home called my mechanic friend, he placed the car on a Jack, threw some soap water and repaired my tire in 15 mins, I paid him $20. I will never return to this place again. MR LUBE LIES!

Worst experience at this location today and i went there for check engine light diagnostic but the person who came said we don’t do that here. I told him to ask his manager but still he said I have already asked my manager. Seriously, you guys don’t want to help anyone. Ridiculous experience so, please avoid this place.

I always ask for the Manager Aly when I go in. He provided the best customer service and he really knows his stuff. I ALWAYS leave knowing my car was serviced right!

I have done my oil change there and they always are trying to sell all sorts of things we don't need. They slashed my tire so I could buy a new tire from them. Told me it will explode when I drive it. I should have went to my tire guy but we just wanted to change the tires. We went to my original tire guy he said nothing is wrong with the tires. They are in great condition and I don't need new tires. Disgusting and irritating. Trying to take advantage of a female. Beware.

This is my go to place for doing an Oil change! Always get taken care By Isaac! He is An Awesome individual and very professional! Explains everything that he’s going to do and why he’s doing it and also asks for permission before proceeding! This is the type of service that makes you want to come back again! I used to do oil service at markham location and had good experience.
This is the first time doing my oil change at this location. Compaired to markham location its really disappointing.

At this location, there is never a long wait time. I’ve relied on this location for winter/summer tire changeovers, flat tires (sudden issues), etc. I’ve always received timely, professional, and friendly service from the staff. I would highly recommend coming here for any tuneup issues. Service is transparent and there is no feeling of being duped or tricked into extra service or hidden charges.

One of the best places to go for a full check up. At least once a year is recommended. They check all the important things according to the manual of the vehicle. Explain things very well. Will be going back for sure

Went in to get my seasonal tire change over and oil change done. Let me tell me it was the fastest service visit I've had anywhere. I was in and out 30-40mins if that and didn't even feel that long, also the tires were off rims which normally takes longer to do. I've been coming here for several years now and I am always throughly impressed with how professional the entire staff is. Too add to it they noticed I had my son with me and offered a coloring book with crayons to keep him occupied which most definitely kept him busy. Much appreciated. Highly recommend for any service needs.

Went for oil change and biannual tire change over. Had a long wait (about an hour or so) as others were doing tire switches too. This was my fourth try. The early November snow had everyone scrambling to get it done. One of the techs told me that they had people lined up since 6.30am a few days before, even though they open at 8am. However, once in, they were efficient in the switch and oil change. I was out in about 40 minutes.

I had great experience with the service here. Did oil change, tires rotation and filter change. It didnt take long as I anticipated. I recommend car owners to this place.

Went in for an oil change and was happily greeted by several very pleasant employees who handled my needs with a very high degree of quality. Special thanks to my technician Taylor, who assisted me immediately and effectively. I also qualified for free wiper blades and had them installed by her at no additional wait time. Overall, her and the rest of the staff were very helpful and productive and attended to all my automobile needs.

I had Oil change for my Chevy Silverado 1500 there. The Guys here are quick and good. It is a busy place to go but fast so you only have to wait a while.

Everything was done professionally and i must say staff is really friendly.

Always upsell and ripoff customers. I had a coupon for free battery diagnostics which i told the mechanic about. They never checked my battery and towards the end when i asked about it they lied that they already did. Moreover they charged me for OEM filter without asking since they wanted to makeup for $10 off coupon I presented. Shady practices at every franchise. Will never use again.

I’ve been coming here for almost three years now. Always friendly and honest service. I never feel like I’m being swindled. They prioritize needs and given options. Clean my windows, give me coffee, give my five year old water, I get a National Post and they have free wifi. Free wifi means I can get my work done and my girl can watch Paw Patrol while we wait. There’s several reasons why I keep coming back but these are just a few.

We have been going there for years. This year we bought a new vehicle and had to buy new rims thinking the winter tires we had would fit the new truck. We were told that they would so we went ahead got the new rims and had the winters installed. We were assured that we were safe with these tires but the truck did not feel right when driving so we got another opinion
We were told driving with these tires will cause damage to our truck and they were not safe so we are getting new winters put on and again paying install charges
We will not be returning to Mr Lube which is regrettable because we have always had good service there

Very dishonest. Brought my car for a flat and said that the tire needed to be replaced because inside wheel damage. I brought it to ideal auto in Scarborough and they said all it is was rim leak. They even showed me with the soap trick. Would not recommend.

Disgusting how these guys run their business trying to charge me for the same job twice after they messed up the first time. Never going back if there was zero stars I would give them zero.

Mr lube as turned into Mr tires, a business founded on being a fast and convenient way to change your oil as switched focus to tires, in the hour and half that I've been waiting I've noticed no less that 25 customers leaving because the focus is on tires and only 1 bay is doing oil.

I called to ask them a question about making an appointment for something. And before I could could even get a word in the person who answered just yelled NO and hung up on me.
I have never used Mr. Lube before and if that is the way they do things I never will.

Way to expensive for an oil change. I should have just waited at the dealer and saved my $47 extra I spent. They supposedly topped my windshield fluid but the next day it was low. Lol. What a joke. They nickle and dime. Charged my $2.99 for shop supplies. Which is what? At the end of it should have just went to honda paid my $70 with taxes and waited 2 hours vs $117 with taxes for a quick oil over priced oil change.

Good experience with staff but it is expensive than my Hyundai Dealership (got oil and filter changed), so why not visit the official dealership to get the job done? Definitely not returning back for oil change.

Great Service. Long wait time, but expected due to the sudden snow. Recommended for oil and tire changes. Price is good if you do strictly oil change or tire change. Starts adding up if you get their extras.

More than 6 hours waiting time for winter tires change (Mr. Lube 70 Grand Marshall Dr, Scarborough, ON M1B 5N6)! The order of arrival is not important for them. They just balancing fast or not fas jobs with tires. Easy money or not. After 6 hours they want to ask 174$ (of rims, Tires size 15). Before they told me 80$, after 6 hours waiting went up 174$. I lost all day because of waiting, and almost paid double price. Toyota Dealers ask 140$, so they more expensive than Toyota dealers services. I knew that the engine oil change cheaper in Toyota dealers (105$ with factory oil and filter) than mr lube. Other Tire services ask 60-80 $ to change (of-rim) winter tires. Finale I got an appointment Monday 9: 00 an Redline automotive service (4736 Sheppard ave E, Scarborough) 80$. Nobody going to mr lube if don’t wanna lose money and time. Mr lube put on the wall a correct price list, don’t chaet! 2019.11.14.08: 00 am to 02: 00pm.

So at Redline automotive service paid 80$ + hst. I arrived there 09: 00 am and arrived at home 09: 45 am. Well done. 2011.11.18.

Workers are friendly and polite. They explained, showed me options presented the dip stick. Didn't have to leave my car. Drove up, they changed the oil, all while sitting in my car. They brought the interact machine right to the window.
