Used Mr. Lube to swap my winter tires to summers, both on rims. Thought they did a good job until recently. Went to swap my summers to winters only to find they had broken my wheel lock without telling me, and severely overtightened all nuts to the point they had to be cut off and replaced. Now I'm stuck with a bill for a couple hours of labour to remove the tires, new wheel locks and nuts along with 4 damaged rims. Do not trust these "mechanics" with your vehicles!

Amazing staff! Went in to get my winter tires changed and the technician was really helpful on explaining me a lot about how winter tires work! Highly recommend to get your tire and lube needs done!

Daughter brought her car in. They forgot to top up washer fluid. Light indicating low fluid stayed on. She returned 3 days later. They said they only top up one litre. That the light sometimes stays on. We've been loyal customers for over 30 years. For what they charge for an oil change they should give a client the benefit of the doubt and offer a litre instead if sending my daughters away with nothing! We've got better things to do than drive back for nothing. They should err on the side of courtesy. We've spent thousands there over the decades and they should show a little class. You've failed miserably in customer service this time. No more business from our family and no more highly questionable recommendations.

Absolute garbage. If I could give these losers a 0 star, I would in a heart beat. My son went there to get an oil change done on his car, and the idiot that worked on it, told my son there was oil on his spark plugs and needed them changed for $190 plus tax. First of all why was this pathetic individual, messing with his spark plugs when it was clearly in for an oil change. My son didn't give him the ok to check the plugs, so why did he take it upon himself to do so. The last time I checked, it's a engine oil filter and oil change, and fluids checked and tire pressure checked, that's it thats all!
Me being a mechanic, know that if there is oil on a spark plug, the piston rings aren't doing their job, hence changing spark plugs will not fix the issue. These individuals are nothing but thieves and are out to scam hard working customers. I don't think any of them possess a mechanics license. They should be accountable for their pathetic actions.

Sujee and the staff were very helpful and went above and beyond for the maintenance of my BMW. Definitely a team I can trust.

Dirushan and Ashik were amazing. Quick and detailed technicians with an awesome professional manner. It was a great oil change experience. MR LUBE pickering is a well oiled machine. No pun intended.

Very unimpressed with the service I experienced. I came in for an oil change that should have been 15 minutes and it ended up being an hour and a half. The employee couldn’t reattach the glove compartment. My partner and I ended up with a bill over $300 due to a lack of transparency of what services we were being offered. From now onwards I will be taking my business elsewhere

I came here today for convenience and wow! A+ for courtesy and service. Everything was clearly explained as they went along with inspections and Hinash could not have been any kinder. Just lovely fellows. And no upsell pressure! Why haven’t I been here before? Thank you!

I have only ever had positive experiences here, and today was no different. The technicians go above and beyond. Mike has always treated me so well and answered any questions and concerns that I had. He has always been so honest with me. The level of trust that they have built with me here at this location is amazing. 10/10 recommend this location in Pickering.

They're incompetent and have no integrity. I'm sure some of the employees here are good at what they do, but most are not. I understand it's convenient to go to Mr. Lube, but trust me the one time things go wrong, you will regret it. You have been warned.

Would be back. Dropped in for an oil change. Was in and out. Wasn’t busy. I asked questions and Vish was quite helpful. Pointed out a couple of things that needs changing which I’ll be taking care of. Just appreciated the honesty and quick service. No BS

Went in for oil repair, they did not ask if they could check my spark plugs, checked anyways. Motor was running fine prior to going to shop, afterwards idling extremely rough. Had to pay $200 FOR SPARK PLUGS THAT COST $40. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. They will upsell you services that you DO NOT NEED. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE.

Hustlers are what they are.

One day I came in for an oil change. During the service, they pointed out to me that the transmission fluid was low and unclean, and therefore recommended transmission oil change for $219.99 plus HST. In response, I clearly stated to him that I did not want the service if there was a possibility that transmission was leaking fluid because, obviously, that would render the service utterly useless to me. The serviceman then went on to assure me that it was not leaking, and so as a result I told him to go ahead and perform the service.
Less than 140 km later (within 2 days) and I am completely out of transmission fluid again. My transmission was damaged in the process as it is still struggling to shift even after fixing the leak than Mr Lube said that I didn't have (with $219.99 plus HST down the drain). I later learned that transmission oil should never even be changed on older transmissions unless it has been done regularly, as it will cause the gears to slip. There was no mention of that before they performed the service.

After I noticed that the transmission oil had completely leaked out, I called to ask for a refund for the transmission oil service and was redirected to the District Manager. I spoke with him a few times over the coming days and each time I had to re-explain the situation from the beginning, giving me the impression that he clearly wasn't listening to a word I was saying as he never intended to give me a refund. He was simply throwing me through hurdles to waste my time and money. At one point he told me to get an inspection done by a mechanic to prove that it was leaking, so I went to Canadian Tire for the inspection. After providing the inspection receipt, he proceeded to completely ignore me and my emails, despite me being polite and respectful the entire time.

This is the second time I've been hustled into a service that my care didn't require at Mr Lube. This Company puts on a facade that they care about the customer, but when it comes down to it, they will scare you and push services onto people that they don't need just to make a quick profit. I believe their employees receive commission for pushing these services, which is a major conflict of interest.

Sujee took down my information, changed my oil and answered all my questions. It all took less than 20 minutes.

Takes +45 minutes and 4 techs to a basic oil change and still can't get it right. $77 with the "free wipers"

- I get asked if I want the fluids topped up, isn't that part of the service?
- Tires are pressure checked but it's not noticed that they need replacing.
- Courtesy checks - none done other than the one noted above.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, oil drain plug was not installed correctly causing a leak on to my driveway. I was fortunate that I took the vehicle in for a brake service, 2 days later at a local garage, when this was noticed. A fair bit of oil had to be topped up.
This issue could have turned into a huge problem.
Head office didn't care as they never responded to my initial complaint regarding the issues. Had to follow up again 3 weeks later.

Stay far away from this location.

Terrible experience. Arrived at 8: 35 a.m
Moved along in queue and when I’m the front of the line (of 2) a man came out and proceeded to take details from 3 cars behind me then came to me. When I asked why he moved 3 cars behind me I was told he thought he had me on the list. Now I have been sitting here for over 2 hours while cars that arrived after me have had their tires changed.
Yes, the cars taken ahead of me were all men!
Now I’m being told 2-3 hour wait is expected
Will never come here again
It is now 1: 40 p.m and I’m still waiting.

Had a couple of bad experiences at this location years ago. New crew different problems. Really wanted to find something positive as the location is convenient. Customer service below expectation and whole experience not positive. Up sell was present but not pushy was a positive.

Really wanted to like this place but the service rep I got couldn't care less about being there. Slowest oil change I've ever gotten for my car. He asked if I wanted him to check the levels of car fluids, etc. (which is advertised on the site that they'll do it), didn't check tire pressure, and absolutely forgot to change my wiper blades despite him ringing them up for me. I had to drive back to get them once I realized he didn't change them. He started my service and didn't even finish it - his colleague did.
After opting into the premium oil package which covers 12k vs 8k, my sticker was printed incorrectly showing 5k. Only reason I'm giving this a one star is because his coworker (with glasses) was helpful.

This place was a life saver! We had a tire leak and they were able to help us right away, and the staff were so helpful and lovely. Really appreciate the excellent service!

Very poor and humiliating experience for a simple oil change from staff labelled “VIYA” on receipt. Didn’t get his name. Won’t be going back.

Compressor down so couldn't check tire pressure.
Also drained the oil before telling us they only had the wrong oil.
No 5w20 due to the compressor not working. Had to use 5w30.
I found $85 to be kinda expensive for a oil change on a small car.

Always have a great experience at this location, been coming here for years. They have no issues with any vehicle I bring them. They're honest about what needs changing and they always have some sort of discount available. Process is typically quite quick, regardless of a line.

I went there supposedly for oil change, apparently I have an oil leak. D was very informative, very helpful. He even gave me a free oil top up.

This location is well recommended, I always go to Mr.lube but D who helped was exceptional.

I visit this store for a quick oil change. Ajay was helping me. He's courteous, friendly and honest. He explained the cost upfront. No surprise charge at the end. He cleaned and lube the hinges at no charge. It takes about 20 minutes in and out. He checked the lightings and cleaned the windshield and windows. Fast service. Kudos to Ajay and his team.

Wow, what a difference it makes to have caring and competent people running your business.

Today I came to get my oil changed, and the technician Vish not only took the time to explain the problems I may be facing coming up, but also to explain the processes and what exactly they can do to help. He was gracious enough to even offer me a bit of a discount and made me sure that he cares about my vehicle and having it run the best it can.

No waiting at all. Service attendant input my plate number as I drove up and immediately had my last visit up on the screen. Efficient and quick. I appreciated that no one tried to upsell me on what I wanted like at other locations.

Came in for a service and oil change, was served by a fellow named Qasim. Wonderful and quick service by him. I always end up waiting hours at other places while over here I was quickly served and my car was taken care of.would definitely recommend coming to this location vs all other places. Wonderful service overall!

Usually very convenient to get oil changes done without even having to get out of the car. They have downsized the garage a bit 1/2 the bays they once had are now Enterprise car rental's wash and detail bay. Line ups were a but longer than I am used to but that may be the time/day I came in this time.

Very happy with this location! I went in for an oil change and the staff immediately informed me that my car was leaking underneath. I could hear them yell it as I drove onto the tracks. The manager stepped in and said he would not be doing an oil change because of the existing issues and that I needed to see a mechanic immediately. As a young girl, I'm always worried I will be talked into paying for things that my car doesn't even need. This wasn't the case with Mr. Lube in Pickering. They, in fact, charged me nothing and seemed greatly concerned for my safety.

I would definitely recommend this location!

I did oil change here but after some days I found oil in the ground then I took the car to the dealership for inspection and they found there is oil leak from the plug and from the filter because the job was not done probably at Mr. Lube

I had the pleasure of being greeted by the technician, Nitish. He was absolutely amazing, professional, friendly and meticulous. I went in for an oil change and he performed other services at no extra cost and went above and beyond. He always advised what he was doing in terms of spraying inside the car, checking the filters and when performing the car flush. He was quick and efficient. I also was greeted by the store manager, Qasim, who was equally friendly and professional. The district manager, Shankar, was also assisting to ensure the speedy service. I was overall impressed with what seemed to be more of a luxurious valet service than an oil change. It was apparent that they are a dedicated team of service professionals that want to go above and beyond for their clients. Will definitely be returning here!

Old review: Unfortunately the last time I came I had oil dripping all over my driveway. I went back and they fixed it. A day later I had something dragging on my driveway due to them not screwing it on properly and had to go back again. I understand things happen but I spoke to the manager and was supposed to get a call and never did. The customer service was really poor. It was inconvenient for me to go back and forth and I was nothing but kind to them. It would’ve been nice to receive some sort of discount or a free oil change next time due to the trouble.

Updated review as of February 20th: I had a poor experience last time due to different management. I had Shankar who is the Area manager reach out to me to resolve the issues I had last time. I went in today and they made sure I was taken care of and I had a great experience. Really happy that this was taken care of. Shankar was nothing but kind & apologetic & I truly appreciated that. I’ll be back at this location again:)

Lovely bunch of guys that are friendly. They do a quick job, staff even come out to apologize if there is a wait.

If I could give a 0 star, I would. The location at 1195 Kingston Rd in Pickering over filled my engine by 25% and the engine completely failed within 24 hours of service. Mr Lube and their insurance provider accept no responsibility. Think twice before you go here.unless you've got a few thousand dollars kicking around to replace your engine.

I have been to this location several times for oil changes. They are always very quick and efficient. My advisor, Amar
was very courteous and professional. He offered different services without a hard upsell. I would highly recommend these guys!

Pedro (manager) and Teer (I believe his name was) took care of my vehicle and provided great customer service and informed me of everything that they were doing to the vehicle. Will be coming to this Mr. Lube for all future maintenance. The team also works very well together, from my observation.

Good service and friendly crew. Quickly recognized what needed to be fixed above and beyond a regular oil change, explained it thoroughly, and offered their service.

This location has been reliable and capable every necessary visit. It's decent if you are able to collect a coupon to shave some of the cost of the oil change off. Though I could very easily do my own work, I support people having a job especially in these fake pandemic propaganda times that are wreaking havoc on far too many.

Fantastic service. My service Agent Mark was super sweet and helpful. He also prevented me from breaking a nail lol, definitely a long-time customer to come.

I went to Mr. Lube to have a directional signal bulb replaced. I did not need an oil change. I was guided into to the bay and light wax fixed in less than 5 minutes and I was not charged anything. Great customer service.

Great service, had the oil changed, winter tires swapped and got rust proofing. All under 2hrs, and under $300. Service was polite and courteous, professional and honest.

Great service, Marcus was very helpful in explaining problem areas that my previous mechanic didn't mention. I recently moved to Pickering and I usually don't go to big box brand shops for oil changes but the mechanics there are very competent in their work. Overall great experience, and will go back again.

The guys at Mr Lube are so so great! I came in one day complaining about leaking oil from a previous job at another oil place- Ricky was quick to diagnose the problem and helped me out by completing what would've been a very expensive gasket change at my regular mechanic. He gave me a jug of extra oil just in case I ever ran low between changes, he replaced my wipers at no extra cost and just before I drove off he fixed my hanging front bumper. All in all super great experience, every single one of the guys there helped on my car at one point or the other and I will definitely be recommending this location above all others!

Was told I needed my transmission fluid changed ($179.99) and that the fluid was black. Took my vehicle to a mechanic and they told me my transmission fluid was red and looked brand new.

Never have to wait more than 10 mins for good quality/fast service (4 car bays). I always feel comfortable visiting this mr lube as I am confident that their staff and services are reliable.

First time I came here for an oil change. A quick in and out service easy and simple. EXCELLENT customer service, always asking if I was comfortable, want coffee, water. I’m giving them 5 stars, I’d drive all the way to Toronto from here just for this service. Amazing guys! Please never change:)

Went on a busy Saturday morning and had my oil changed quickly. Troy and Pedro were super helpful and made it a great experience. Will definitely be back.

I had serviced my car here regularly for 2 years then the engine breaks down and mechanic tells me it's dry with no oil. They also always try to ripp you off and upsell you with 5 minute work for over $100. Stay away.

1st time visit for oil change. Guys are very professional. Performed free inspection and suggested number of things, which is nothing wrong with that, especially if you know your car. I definitely will visit them again.

Over charged me for many things. I went in for simple oil change. They said this and that is wrong we can change it. Without giving me the price they charged me. In the ending I had to pay 370 dollars. Never go here again.

I stopped by here today for an oil change and have to say how great the customer was. I was greeted outside and offered coffee and a paper. Once inside the guys were friendly and very helpful. It turned out I didn't need the oil changed at this time and I appreciate their honesty for telling me this. They also checked and adjusted my tire pressure. Overall I would definitely return here for my next oil change.you don't get such good customer service like this much anymore. By the way, I had stopped at Midas before this and stood in the waiting room for 5 minutes and was not acknowledged by staff so walked out. Glad I did. Will definitely be back to this location soon!

I come here regularly. My last visit the staff were particularly helpful and kept me informed on maintenance items for my minivan without being overly pushing. Often places like this try to upsell you with unnecessary maintenance but this location seems to be better then most.

Good service performed well. Wish they didn't up sell you every time on everything. My previous car lasted over 230k using only their services, so I can not complain too much.

Its was bad experience for me I am regular coustmer at markham place this was my first time they did only oil change no other check I mention about my tire pressure was low I told the same person 3 times he said we ll check but they didn't but my old place they ll do all I don't need tell them anything only I have to pay that's all

Bit of a wait.but they have great customer service. Everyone was nice. Clened the windshield. Sprayed the hinges. Offered refreshments and newspaper to read while waiting.
The work done is pretty alright. They suggested oil treatment to help. Originally 20$ i said no.lowered the price to 10$ i agreed.will update if i see a difference.
Did let me know filters and spark plugs needed changing and bottom of car required rust proofing. I declined all but good to knoe

I can honestly say this is the best oil change shop to get your car serviced at. The staff here treats you exceptionally well (offering coffee, water, newspapers etc) & they prepare it and bring it to you as well, something you can never experience at the dealership. When it came to my car I could not have asked for better, all inspections were done to spec and whatever regular maintenance needed to be done, they informed me based on my vehicle’s owner’s manual (so I know this is honest information). 5 out of 5 stars highly recommend!

The service was terrible. Marcus was unfriendly and didn’t seem to know about my vehicle at all. NONE of the extra checks, that are supposed to be done, and says they were done on my bill, were not done. My one tire was low, was never checked, and I had to ask for it to be filled when he came for my money, which I was then told he checked them and filled them, yet the light in my dash is still on. Wipers not checked and windows not washed, doors not lubricated, NO extras which was the reason for going there. I understand they are “curtesy checks” but when I see people standing around, and I am the only car there, I expect to at least get my tires filled properly! Won’t go there again!

I went in to this location today, the customer service was amazing, service was fast and the manager was more then accommodating to my needs.

I went in for a basic oil change and got just that, there was no forcing of an upsell for fluid flush or anything like that.

I will be coming back and will recommend others to do the same.

Each time i go to this location, the entire team goes above and beyond my expectations. Ricky (Area Manager) even went as far as providing me a pick up service HIMSELF due to my car breaking down. Customer Service, professionalism and skilled mechanics. They greet you with a smile and ensure their customers leave with a smile. I've stopped going to any other shops for my regular maintanence or tire issues. Finding these guys have given me the peace of mind. The whole crew is awesome but special shoutout to Ricky, Nav, Matthew and Pedro - these dudes are amazing at what they do. Highly recommended!
