Barrie Location 12 Bryne Dr
On Monday the 27th of November at 6-6: 30 pm I took my wife's BMW X3 for the installation of my four winter tires which I had on the rim in the trunk of the car.

After waiting for more than 30 minutes I noticed something was wrong. Stepped outside the car and asked what was the problem. Three of the tires were changed except for the rear left. I was approached by someone called Vikas who told me a lug bolt was rounded when trying to remove the tire.

They tried to remove it using the wrong tools which worsen the situation so they asked me to come back any another day until they got the proper tools to do the job.

Returned a week later but Vikas was not available but was told to take the car to any shop except BMW for them to fix it right. I asked for a written document but they deny to invoice me or giving me any other written proof arguing they were a highly reputable company. I was also told to not worry and that they would pay for the repair.

I asked for Vikas supervisor for an explanation and was later contacted by someone called Simran. After texting back and forth three days later I was told the following:

" I spoke to the manager and saw video footage, you came with one tire to install as you did 3 by yourself and couldn't install 4th tire. You brought your vehicle with seized and stripped lug nuts so they declined the service. Mr. Lube is not responsible for anything as you brought your vehicle with that condition as you couldn't do it at your end. "

This is a total disgrace. People like this should not be representing a business. It just hurts the name of a reputable franchise.

Thanks for your time and attention regarding this matter,

Scam alert beware! Took my car to the Oakville location on Dundas Street and the cracked the housing for the oil filter for my Toyota Highlander. Then told me they could not remove it. Went to the dealer soon as it was on the hoist they showed me it was cracked. Manager at Mr lube hung up on me when I called him. His last words were sue me. Beware never use them!

I think Mr. Lube overall is a great franchise with excellent overall service. I often use them in Guelph, Ontario. However i was in Windsor today and took my wifes small Toyota CHR to them, i was told it would be $ 190.00 for synthetic oil change, then the guy shows me the dip stick and says the oil is dirty and a flush is recommended at another $ 45.00: total change was going to be $ 257.00 for an oil change? I questioned them as ive never even paid that for my F150 with synthetic, i was told all Mr. Lube in Windsor are the same price. Obviously a scam to rip people off.

Head office needs to get this franchisee in line fast. Its damaging your brand name greatly.

By the way i ended up paying $ 89.00 on the same street at the Great Canadian Oil Change company.same oil, same service.

It was promised it would arrive by the weekend. I brought the tires I need to know when to drop car off. Now they’re saying it will arrive by the Monday 2 days later. Called corporate no one’s answering. Makes me wonder if anyone working at corporate office.

I had the snow tires put on my 2017 Hyundai Tucson on Wednesday November 30 at Mr. Lube at Britannia and Erin Mills Parkway. They had to be put on the existing rims so it took almost an hour to complete and the cost was $175.00. The next day while driving on the 401 I noticed a grinding noise coming from the tires. I pulled off and visually checked the tires and couldn’t see anything unusual. The noise had stopped so I continued. Ten minutes later the tire exploded. Needed to be towed to my mechanic. The manager of the Mr. Lube simply dismissed it with the explanation that I must have picked up a nail! Less than 24 hours after I had them put on by them. I feel that they erred in the transfer process and that they should reimburse me for the job that they failed to do properly in the first place! They refused to accept responsibility in any way. I’ve been a long time customer with this particular Mr. Lube…. We’ll over 15 years and yet they offered nothing in the way of compensation. I’ll never go back and I suggest that you don’t either. Disgraceful customer service!

I just wish Mr. Lube would go back to the basics. I recently went in for an oil change on my 2020 hyundia Tucson. It only has 36000 kilometers on it. But yet the constant up selling of services needed on my vehicle was unbelievable! And is driving me away from coming to Mr. Lube. I just want to drive in do a quick oil change and leave. If I want something else done I will ask for it.

I went to my Local Mr. Lube for a synthetic oil change at $100 dollars I asked the attendanced how many litres of oil do you get for that price he told me you get 6 L maximum and I asked what if my car only takes for who gets the other 2 L they keep it and resell it this is not right so I got back in my car and left and did the oil change myself

Very poor service. Rude and unfriendly staff kept arguing about services not needed. Did not do vehicle inspection at all. Did not change oil filter.
After rude argument the technician talked to manager and they loosen my transmission pan which made heavy transmission oil leak on my driveway.
They want to make people buy more services which even not required. Sounds familiar Mechanic crooked up operation. Will never go again.

I went to get an Oil change done on my car and one of the technicians broke my filter housing. I later contacted head office and was promised that they will have the part and will replace it. He called me the day i was suppose to get it done and told me he couldn't get the part. Its been 2 weeks now and i've been leaving him voicemails and he hasn't returned any of my calls. Im assuming head office is going back on their word to fix my car so i guess to have this fixed ill have to contact the BBB.

Actually it is my 1st time in this place but I do recommend it.
The guys are very professional and faster than my dealership

The best part is that they are cheaper than the dealership

I am sure I will do most of my quick services here

Save yourself the frustration of dealing with Mr. Lube if there's a problem with servicing your vehicle and STAY AWAY from the brand as a whole!

I brought my van in to their 101 Edgeley Boulevard, Vaughan location inside the Wal-Mart to swap my summer tires for winter tires. After about 45 minutes of my vehicle sitting in the bay, I'm suddenly told that the technicians broke 3 out of 4 of my locknuts, as well as the locknut key! That's right, they didn't just break 1, they continued breaking them until 3 were broken.

They took no responsibility for this at the time, but just blamed me for it. I had my car dealer put my summer tires on, which I know was done properly.

I wasn't offered any sort of discount or even an apology. The owner wasn't there at the time so I had to call him the next day to complain. He offered to reimburse me for a new locknut set if I brought him a receipt.

So I got the locknuts replaced by the dealer and brought the owner the receipt. He only partially reimbursed me the cost of the receipt. He refused to pay for installation, which he never specified when he asked me to bring him the receipt. He also proceeds to give me a condescending lecture about how this wasn't his fault and he's doing me favour by reimbursing me anything.

I've never felt so undervalued and disrespected as a customer anywhere I've serviced my vehicle before. The owner claims he told me that he would have put the locknuts back on for me, but why would I want his technicians touching my vehicle again after what they did? Why should I have to be further inconvenienced anymore than I already have?

Terrible experience! Worst customer service ever! Overpriced tire changes! Changing your tires here costs almost twice as much as going to the dealer! Not worth it! Save your money and get it done right. Make an appointment with your dealer.

I've truly lost all confidence in Mr. Lube as a brand. Oh, and I tried calling head office and got absolutely nowhere with them. They don't seem to care about brand reputation or customer satisfaction. I was told there was nothing they could do about this and that everything at issue was at the sole discretion of the owner/operator in terms of resolving the matter.
