Mr. Lube + Tires

I am mortified with this place, i came in dec 2023 to get an oil change and fluid top up i was told my transmission fluid needs to be flushed that the oil was black, ok good to know, i went to my mechanic to get an estimate for said job as mr lube wanted 179.99 plus tax which i thought was too high, my shop advised me that my car has a contained transmission reservoir and no dip stick so how could this diagnosis be made? I ALSO SPOKE TO A CHEVY DEALERSHIP THAT CONFIRMED THE INFO ABOUT THE TRANSMISSION FLUID I was a potential for a scam and now my oil is leaking which never did before and i have to now get that fixed and spend money due to mr.lube shotty work thanks a lot DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE THEY ARE A SCAM TO SCARE YOU INTO SPENDING MONEY AND I FEEL THE PEOPLE THERE ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING THEY SHOULD PAY FOR MY CAR REPAIR JERKS!

I visited Mr. Lube because of windshield wipers, I just got car and was not sure how to install it since the one I had on car was not working properly so I visited and Gaurav helped me. Over all good experience and definately recommened.

On my most recent oil change a tech removed one of my spark plugs without permission. If he had asked, I would’ve informed him that they were recently changed. Turns out that the spark plug was not tightened properly which resulted in a raw fuel smell in the cabin whenever I turned the heat on. I was able to get it tightened elsewhere. I phoned and explained what happened. The service manager apologized and offered me 30% off my next visit.

If you don’t want this to happen to you I would suggest saying upfront please don’t remove my spark plugs (unless of course they need to be done which is every 100k or so)

This is the best Mr Lube I have been too. I have always been hesitant to go to a Mr Lube based on stories I gave heard, but when I recently went to get my Audi Q3 serviced for an oil change, tire rotation and other maintenance, Mustafa was incredible. He knew what he was doing and explained everything properly to me. He had a lot of knowledge of what he was doing and he didn't try to up-sell me. From now I will be a returning customer and will recommend to all my family and friends

They are very pro and great in what they do also responsible for every single problem other wise they don’t let you leave. What a pleasure to see all of them are so respectful and caring to every single customer. I am very grateful to know this place.

My shield protecting the bottom of my car was hanging off, hitting the road, I came here, Shan offered to fix the issue for free which was a kind gesture. I will definitely be coming to this location next time I need to come to Mr lubes. Shan and the whole location were good vibes and caring people.

Sukh and Harsh are always nice. I have been coming here with my Nissan rouge for 3 years. Always genuine and they do what the car needs. Thanks for this guys!

I got my vehicle serviced at this Mr Lube couple of days ago. The services manual explained by technician named Dev was so impressive and the manager Sukh is so polite and helped me with all the queries I had with my car. Thanks a lot guys!

I notice mr lube always trys to upsale you on anything they can even wipers that people can do them selves if needed, thats why i go my mechinic if i ask oil change thats all he will do

I Had a great experience at this location, Avish and Dev went above and beyond With there customer service skills. I initially went in for an oil change these two helped me with that no problem. During Avish’s inspection under my Jeep Wrangler he noticed rusting under the cabin and advised me getting a durashield undercoating to save me issues in the future. I took his advice and he applied the undercoating in no time. Overall I would recommend this location to any customer who needs mechanical assistance.

Dev is an amazing person.had to stop at mr.lube for fixing the skid plate which was torn apart.got help for free.really appreciate it

I got rust proofing done on my brand new 2023 Mazda which has 50 km on it. The job done by technician Dev and Aman was amazing. Best place in the town.

The service people who assist you with your vehicle needs are: polite, prompt, efficient, helpful, accommodating, hardworking and kind! You are secure and w1ell-cared for in the hands of all of the servicemen here, including: Savi, Happy, Divu, Dev, Avish!

They scared me when I went to change tires. Tires were in good condition but they said it’s old and has to change. When I checked other 2 places, they said, tires are still good and no need to change.
So be careful when you come to change tires. They try to sell the tires even though it’s not require.

Won't ever come back to this location nor any Mr. Lube again. I inquired about tires and they were quick to get me to order tires. Told me to call around 3pm that day to confirm they got it and to come in. Called them at that time and they told me to come at 4: 30. When I arrived at 4: 30pm was told that it would be a two hour wait, with one care already waiting. I was told to come in the next morning. When I came that morning they told me an initial 4 HOUR WAIT. But since this was my second time here and I didn't mind spending a few hours I waited. When this other attendant saw me he told me a 2 HOUR WAIT. Which was odd, but I still waited. Afterward the original guy got mad at the other attendant for quoting two hours, which made him come up to me and tell me it will be 5 HOURS OF WAITING. But in the midst of that conversation he changed that 5 to 3 HOURS. I ended up waiting a total of 4 hours, where in which the overpriced service and tires did not even include balancing. Now my car is vibrating and I need to go into another autoshop to correct this mistake.

TL: DR -> Don't bother with this location. I made a mistake.

Oil change was fine but the upselling was just ridiculous. I know you gotta try to make that sales goal but that's attempted robbery.

The part I'm actually upset about is they didn't hook up my glove box properly and now it just falls when you open it.

Thank you Suraj & Preet for your good service. Every thing done on my truck was explained in full. It was nice being able to see the work being done. Oil change completed and all fluids were topped up. They were professional and courteous. I recommend going to these guys at this location if you want no stress and peace of mind.

One of the worst mechanical experience i ever had in my life. They damaged my tire valve and told me that you need to order new one and have to do some programming for tire pressure. I paid $135 for tire punchers and they wants to charge $120 for tire value

First time here for car service and i got good service from all the team members specifically Suraj and Suban who were work on my car and mostly they are professional and follow all covid precautions. See you soon guys.

First time using this location and was recommended by a friend. No issues with the service, was quoted price and reasons before working on anything. Unfortunately due to COVID no coffee or paper but good thing for WIFI. Suraj and Jenoe was pleasant and professional. Good job team.

I was at this location for regular oil change service. Jaspreet Singh worker checked the Cabin air filter and suggested it was not changed from long time, need to change it. Highly recommended this location

The service here was really poor. They are less focused on trying to do the task required and more focused on upselling you. I went for a $50 oil change and they wanted to me to do all sorts of repairs (quoting $600+). When I said no they emphasized how critical these repairs were. To make sure, I went to a local garage shop and showed them the recommendations that they had mentioned. Almost all the “critical recommendation” they mentioned were not needed. They take advantage of consumers that don’t know much about their vehicles. Please avoid this location and find a trusted garage for servicing.

They have worth service which is possible in market if you want to go there for service you have to be very careful they are looking to any reason to charge you, very bad and rude customer service.

These guys are really great. Love their attitude and style of work ethic. Anyone in Scarborough should use this place. Muzamil was really great and I thank him for his efforts with my car

Not only were the workers professional, but RESPECTFUL. How many Canadian dealership service department converse you with the words “Ma’am/Sir”? None, at least to the dealerships I go to for service. Their estimated time to complete the job was accurate and the bonus part is that it’s just close by to me.

Did a half-fast job on the undercoating.

So I went back to Mr. Lube to rectify the issue.
The service personnel was very helpful. They follow all safety procedures (Covid masks etc.)
They offered all options of service oil change, tire rotation.
The undercoating was put on to my satisfaction free of charge.
My only suggestion is to offer the best service the first time to all customer's satisfaction. More people would come to this location. Then upselling would feel more like a suggestion to consider.
