Mr. Lube + Tires

I understand that prices have to be high for the convenience, but $90 for a $10 cabin filter seems a bit of a gouge. The reason for this bad review is that at the end of my service they demanded a five star review and stood over me to make sure they got it. They even demanded that I write the names of the people working that day! I found it extremely intimidating and aggressive. I wouldn’t trust ANY of the reviews on Google for this location as it will be impossible to tell how many were pressured into giving a good review. I will not be returning to this business.

Honestly it was awesome. I pulled up in the parking lot and didn't get a chance to get out of my car and an attendant was right there. I will definitely be going back. Offered coffee and water and a paper to read right off the bat. I'd give an extra star if I could.

This oil change place is one of tye worst shops in town, on 2 separate occasions I waited over an hour for an oil change. I have a fleet vehicle and I will no longer use mr lube, the quick lube places are going downhill, it's cheaper and faster to use tge dealership.

Excel service. The staff is very polite and well trained. I git my oil change done in 15 minutes. Will definitely recommend

Amazing service, they offer water or coffee multiple times and provide a newspaper while you wait. I personally feel like they're honest and I had no issues so far with what they do.

I had my winter tires taken off and my summer tires put on at this location (April 2023). I returned for my re-torque as recommended. Less than a month later, I was driving and I could feel one of the tires shaking. When I investigated, one of the lug nuts was missing and another was very loose. I brought the car to another mechanic where I was informed that the wheel studs were not cleaned before the new tires were put on. As a result, 3 of my 4 tires were loose and the one I noticed was at severe risk of falling off. I will not be returning.

UPDATED to add that all of my tires were overfilled to 40 psi when the they should have been filled to 32 and 30 PSI.

SUKH was Fantastic. He did several services after a great explanation. I am very satisfied.

I told them exactly what I wanted when I arrived, they didn't listen ans started poking around my car looking for additional services they could offer. I told them to stop. Then they told me they don't have enough time to do what I asked, only oil change. These guys are crooks and are trained like cheap salesmen. Also watched the guy doing thr qorj under the car before me having hissy fit under the car and acting completely unprofessional. Never again.

I like the service provided by Prabh, he was very professional and did all the inspections that was required. He was a great gentleman and recommend him to whoever comes here

Made me sit there for over 1 hour. Then once I got in they proceeded to do whatever then after 20mins said we don't have the oil for your car. Not impressed since this was the 3rd time they did this. Told me to drive to another location where I'd have to line up again. Never coming back. No I'm sorry or here's a coupon for next time. At least tell me while I'm waiting.

Not first come first serve. I was asked to move my car so another person could go who arrived after me. Wasted 30 minutes of my time. I will not come here again. I suggest others skip this place.

I came in to get an oil change at about 3: 00pm there was a few cars in line I waited patiently for an hour. Other vehicles arrived later than I did and were looked at within 15 minutes, I was very disappointed I didn’t even end up getting my oil change. I left after an hour of waiting. It’s disappointing because I came here because of the convenience and it was far from that I understand that shops can be busy but I feel like I wasn’t looked after as a customer, I’ve use this location several times in the past and I won’t be any more.

Great service. Great work. Fast and efficient. All the guys working there are polite, friendly and professional. Would go back if in the area and need to.

The inexperienced technician made me wait a long time and realized that. I just need change the oil. Sent it without opening the service because other products couldn't sell, it's a service scam to dont service car here!

Service kind of OK, but too expensive, $200+tax for seasonal tire change is too much guys. I'LL NEVER USE THIS SHOP AGAIN
Also, asking too much of personal details, stating that it's obligatory, including address, car mileage, phone, etc. The next day I start receiving spam emails, I don't like it.

For my car,  I needed new tyres. I was happy with their staff's professionalism and the excellent value I received. They worked quickly and were really polite.  If you live in Barrie,  I would advise you to visit this establishment because they will undoubtedly give you exceptional service.

This place is garbage the people working in it hate their job they can’t even perform a simple oil job properly no compassion or care for anyone or anything do not go

On Friday July 8th (same day as Roger's blackout) I had a glass tire in Barrie. I had no access to phone or internet. I visited 4 different shops in the area and everyone refused to fix the tires as they were all booked. I came to this Mr. Lube location and their technician, Vic, took the car in and showed me that I actually have a cracked rim which they can't fix. However him and the other staff were supper helpfull trying to find a way for me to get the car back to Toronto. They allowed me to use their wifi and let me leave the car there until phones were backup and I could get a tow truck.

Amazing experience and would highly recommend anyone to go there, I went for an oil change and the employee's were so nice and had Such bright smiles on there faces and the prices are really amazing. I was very impressed and will definitely be going back

These guys are the best bring my ram here every time I need work done to it.very professional, informative and honest. Solid 10/10 would recommend them to anyone that needs work done to there vehicle to bring it by here, you won’t be disappointed.

Definitely not coming back.came here when i needed an oil change in a pinch.they performed the oil change and took my shocks out to try to get me to replace them, never had that happen before at any place for an oil change.just a month later i find out they didn’t put everything back properly and had ALL of my oil leak out of my car.had a friend let me know the same thing happened with her at this location and her car almost broke down because all the oil leaked out while she was driving.i’d recommend just finding a mechanic to do everything.way cheaper too.i pay $40 less for an oil change at my mechanic than i do at mr.lube.

My torque wrench broke on me while I was changing my tires at home. I brought my car over for them to torque the lug nuts and they did it free of charge. 5/5

I had to balance my tires. I was pleased with their staff’s professionalism. They were quick and very courteous and took the time to explain what they did to correct the tire balance.

I went there for an oil change on my truck.
The service guy was going to tell me recommendations, I indicated I was not interested.
He did not lubricate my doors, had to tell him it was part of the service as I’ve been going to mr lube for 16 years. Asked him to do the windows once again as it has always been complimentary, he never did. Did not check my tire pressure or do the light/signal check. I asked why he didn’t do any of that and he stated well you said you’re upgrading your truck soon so why would I check it. (I had casually mentioned it making small talk)
I said because it’s part of your job and it’s illegal to drive with burnt out lights, he gave me a look as if well I’m not doing it. He looked annoyed when I asked him to essentially do his job. He did not tell me how my fluids were without me asking.
Showed me where my oil levels were from so far was unable to even see it.

Needless to say I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH TERRIBLE SERVICE AT A MR LUBE (in 4 different cities) AND WILL NEVER BE BACK.
HE NEEDS TO BE RETRAINED AS THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE. CAN’T HELP BUT TO FEEL THAT IF I WAS A GUY I WOULD’VE BEEN TREATED DIFFERENTLY.

Had my brakes recently done and had a minor issue after a few days. Contacted them and spoke to mechanic on site, Mark McNight, and got excellent cust.service. Advised him of issue and he actually diagnosis the issue w/o looking at problem first and then took the time to show me the issue. Excellent cust.service and a good young man to deal with. Appreciated his time and effort. All good now.

They broke my air filter while in front of my truck, I could see her perfectly. She brakes it and then tells me it’s dirty and broken. It was not dirty, I shouldn’t have to replace it. Now I have to go buy a new one and replace it myself.

Don’t trust them, they try and force extra buys and are willing to break your property to make you pay more.

What a professional business, to allow their employees to break stuff to make us pay more.

Bad experience with a Rad Flush, a factory spring tensioned Rad Hose Fastener was replaced with a Garden Hose Clamp to my Plastic Rad Housing, it was way over tightened resulting in breaking the Rad Housing, left me to be towed and expensive repair, very unknowledgeable and very unprofessional novices. No Customer Service, no assistance provided, no Refund, completely unsatisfied, would NOT recommend this business even for a basic oil change.

Very close, polite, capable staff and very few, if any, lineups. Just had my winter tires put on while I remained in my car. Very good service.

Don't go during tire change season for oil change. We waited over an hour for an oil change because they where changing tires in all three lanes.

I have been bringing both my vehicles since they opened up. It's very convenient as I'm in the neighborhood. Every technician they have had has done a wonderful job. I bring my cars in for the synthetic oil change and usually the tire rotation or winter tire swap. I have never had an issue with any of their services.

Never seen 6 guys take an hour to change a tire before until I was waiting here. Been stuck behind it waiting for an oil change, while both lanes beside me were able to go through steadily.

My first time at this location, they were great, went above and beyond. The must place to go for oil change and more.

I purchased a new car 2 weeks ago and woke to a half flat tire. Was able to drive to their shop and they took me in right away. Took the tire off and after testing they found the pin in the valve stem was leaking. They changed out the pin and it was good as new. I asked them how much for the bill and they said "No Charge". Now that's not what you hear everyday. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. Many thanks to the team!

Good location, usually not busy. The prices are a bit higher, in my opinion. Convenient location close to Go station. Friendly service.

Very well organized and thorough. They run like a well oiled machine. However, they charge way, way too much to mount and balance 18 inch and larger tires, it's a lot cheaper everywhere else including the dealer. They're really hurting their business and reputation charging so much!

Personally I’m not coming back to this place.
1- after a couple of months I noticed a small leak on my driveway, “Because I still have warranty” I took my truck to the dealer and they told me that the last person that changed the oil didn’t tightened the plug properly, then it was time to change the oil I did it with the dealer, and guess what?
2- The dealer charged me just have the amount that I paid with “Mr Lube”. For the same job.
Plus the dealer replace the gasket.

Bunch of lazy workers, if you drive a nice car don't go here because I don't think they trust themselves working on it.

Rude manager. Said he didn’t have time to check to see if they had my filter in stock when I called in. I will stick with the Essa Road location. Much better service.

Anthony did an amazing job. You can go into many shops in Barrie and deal with attitude, but Anthony was happy, thorough, respectful, and insightful. Customers are lucky to get work done by him.

Open late, quick oil changes with fluid top ups and hinge lubrication.
When your on the road all the time this is the perfect place to go. No appointment required.

Tristan was absolutely amazing. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Customer service was EXCEPTIONAL, Anthony got us drinks well we waited. Went the extra mile to even zip tie a cord for us to help clean up the vehicle. Also supplied us with the oil that is supplied with BMW’s. Highly recommend!

Went for an oil change to receive free wipers that was the only bonus about the place. One week after my oil change had my vehicle in for an alignment mechanic found all tires low air pressure also old screw stuck in one of them with slow leak. Had Mr lube checked my air pressure of tires would have corrected and notified me of slow leak. My receipt stated that my air pressure was good in my tires.

The staff was friendly. The overall service good and fast. But I was clearly quoted over $100 less for the final bill. When I brought it up to the supervisor, she said I must have misunderstood. I did not, in fact I double checked "Total Final Price", with staff before making the order. What actually happened is her staff misquoted and made error. A good management team would have met me in the middle. Thats fine I paid full amount, but they lost a customer for life. Little things go a long way when you have options.

Edward was extremely friendly and polite. He showed me each step of the inspection, and I feel confident in the service I received. Staying in the car was great considering the pandemic. Overall a great experience, and I will be returning.

Took my Mini cooper and cant do the oil change apparently the bolt was strip. They made me wait for over 30 mins and told me they cant do the oil change. Bad service

Go get tire put on said can't just do one go to other one in barrie and help right away always ill go to one on Bryne Dr never to St Paul's Cres

Bunch of thieves running this place. Charges you more than double for off rims tire swap compared to what every one else charges you in the area. Even other mr lube locations in Barrie area charges you less than half of what these people charge for the same service. Stay away from this place!

Got an oil change here back in March because they had a deal with free wiper blades. When it came time to change the oil at home, they left the plug so tight that I couldn’t get it off even with an impact gun. Which began sheering the sides off the plug. I proceeded to bring my car back to get them to crack the plug where I was told that it was hardly tight at all. Didn’t get an apology for the inconvenience or anything. Overall horrible experience and never again

This location of Mister lube provides excellent service. Eric, one of the technicians, was extremely professional and knowledgeable. They handled my tire balancing service quickly and efficiently. They were very polite and courteous. I will 100% be going back for basic service on one of our three cars.
