Their install team were great. The job (5 pot lights) was done quickly, professionally and affordably, with no mess. We called them back to install a dimmer switch for the pot lights, and again they were quick and did a great job. I’d use them again in a heartbeat.

We hired Mr. Potlight to install pot lights in our home in Barrie and they did an exceptional job. John and his team were polite and helpful. They helped us with the layout of the pot lights and advised what would work best in our space. We also had them hang an additional 2 pendant lights over our island which look awesome. They got the job done in a good amount of time and cleaned up everything - the pricing was also fair for the size of the job that was done. I would recommend this company.

About 15 potlights done, in a few hours, no hassle, came the day after I called them, no mess, and at a reasonable price.

After trying a few other "I know someone" contacts who proceeded to never get back to me after contacting them, one call was all it took for John to not only respond but also immediately set up a install session the next day. No quote or inspection needed, all they asked was to send them the details and they'll see me the next day.

Unfortunately that next day there was a snowstorm and I had not expected John and his team to show up; to my surprise they did. I felt terrible since they arrived earlier than I expected and as such I hadn't actually shoveled the driveway for them yet. When I got to the door, they were shovelling for me.

John and their team were extremely respectful of my home and opinions; never starting to do anything without getting my okay first. They asked for my opinion every step of the way, were patient, clean, and finished in a few hours and tried to clean up any mess they may have made. I only got a few rooms done, but in the future if I want more rooms converted into potlights I know who to call.

Takes your input but also provides recommendations of his own. Flexible, 3 to 4 hours of work overall and service was great as they cleaned up after themselves. Would recommend again if I have more lighting needs.

Not responsive at all and very difficult to contact via phone/text. Cancelled the night before because there is no parking right in front of our townhouse unit when it’s literally 30 sec walk to parking. Would not recommend at all.

Absolutely amazed by the knowledge and their creativity. From designing the layout to rewiring the switches to the way you would do it in a new construction, nothing can stop them. Mohammed was my project manager and he was able to execute the entire project flawlessly. Very poised, patient and professional. I highly recommend Mr. Potlight.

Just in a few hours, like magic, the job was done beautifully. The price was reasonable. These are honest and humble workers, I felt comfortable with them working in my house. They even help me to fix other outlet issues without asking more money, which was a nice surprise. I don’t usually gave reviews but I feel I need to do this one to support to their business. John came to our Brand New Home to install pot lights in several rooms including 8 pot lights in our family room with a ceiling height of about 14’. He was very professional and used a laser to ensure everything was perfectly aligned.

Once they were installed we noticed that they looked a bit off because of the positioning of our center fixture (Issue from the home builder). John offered to come back to reposition the center light fixture as well as move one of the pot lights to ensure everything was visually pleasing and to our liking. He came back shortly after to complete this work and we couldn’t be happier with the result!

Thank you John and team. We also really appreciate the care you took in covering up all surfaces to avoid making a complete mess of our home.
