This is my first time here. I took my son. He had a hair in his food was found at the end so we didn't say anything. We both got shrimp and steak med rare. He got 3 shrimp I got 4.his steak was cooked good mine was more on the bloody side but it was still good. Staff was friendly. With the prices of everything I was expecting a little more fancy not a stain on the table cloth and not a hair. Keep an eye on these things. I would have gave a 5 star if these little things didn't happen.
Very good meal, waitress was very sweet. They could accommodate gluten free. But didn't have any specifically gluten free products. Ie dessert. Etc. Fast, friendly and delicious. I had the filtet mignon with mushrooms and my husband had the house prime rib.
Wonderful food. The young man that is a server sadly has zero personality. He somehow always makes me feel awkward. The dining room needs a full makeover. It’s like going into 1985.
Excellent dining environment. I had the salmon with fries and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste if the food! Not the cheapest place to dine, but I knew that going in.
It's probably our fault for ordering steak a d lobster at at place called Mr Prime Rib. I mean the prime rib is probably great. The steak not so much the lobster not at all. Bland chewy steak and very very hard lobster. They did offer to remake the lobster only to make an even harder more chewy version.
Been enjoying this restaurant since 1986, the dinner menu is still what you can expect, have enjoyed many lunches so definitely recommend as long as your budget can be stretched. For dinner I always have the Prime Rib, after all it's the name
Incredible service, amazing food, wonderful atmosphere. Sam and his team made it possible to create a special night to celebrate my mother's 75th birthday. A night we will never forget. Thank you!
Was ok our first time except the kind of dirty look as if to say you can't afford to eat here we got from I guess the bar tender.prompted us to make it a 1 time dining experience
2 adults, 2 dinners. One was an 8 Oz prime rib steak and the other was a 10oz. Couldn't visibly tell the difference between the 2. They appeared the same size. The French fries look like they come out of a bag and fried. The crab cakes the same. The sauces are super salty. Small 10 Oz stem glassware for water and iced tea. All of this is fair enough in terms of served food but the pricing seems to be out of line. The servers were fantastic and food prep and service was quick. Everything about the place is really quite good except for the ol price tag. I've eaten there once 10 years ago and the next time I eat there will likely be in another 10 years or when I win lottomax whichever comes first.
My partner and I went recently went to Mr. Prime Rib for the first time. The first problem I had was choosing something from the menu! Everything was appealing. My partner started with the dry ribs, and oh my gosh! Amazing. The best ribs we’ve ever had. They were crispy, nicely seasoned and so tender. For my main, I ended up trying the fall penne pasta (from the temporary fall menu) - it was the best pasta I’ve ever had. My partner got a steak and shrimp, which he said was great. The steak was a little fatty - but gentleman that checked us out (The owner, I think) was so gracious and was insistent we should have told them so they could fix it. Usually, we’re too embarrassed/shy to complain but we felt like they actually cared and it was no bother to them as long as we were happy. But honestly, it wasn’t really a complaint because everything was so delicious.
Also, Kathy served us and she was just the sweetest and most polite. The atmosphere was great, no loud music or TV’s to distract you. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean.
Honestly, I don’t know how we’ve not been here before. But we will definitely be choosing this restaurant over the keg, or any other restaurant for a nice dinner.
Amazing night to go out on date night with my wife. Still cant believe did a paper in high school for cooking class 27 years ago here and is still as good. Keep up the good work
