MR Shawarma Restaurant

These people are so rude. My last visit here! They always laugh with each other while speaking a different language, and what appears to be making fun of you for your order if it’s vegetarian.

Drive down the road to Shawarma Prince, they always have a smile on and give you heaping loads of GOOD food!

I came Saturday and I Wanted to have dinner at Mr shawarma, But the service was slower than everr. I understand that on Remembrance Day it’s busier than regular days, however, there was ONE staff member working only! I used to come every weekend but I don’t think I got time to wait all this long.

This is the best shawarma place I have been to in ottawa! Such amazing portions, friendly and efficient staff.

The best falafel sandwiches.

The falafels are perfect and crispy (not dry like other places) and the bread is pressed to be crunchy on the outside yet soft on the inside, yum. Their toppings always taste fresh and they're generous with the hummus and sesame sauce, well portioned. The dudes behind the counter are always pleasant, can tell they take pride in creating edible masterpieces.

Shawarmas can be messy, but I've almost always enjoyed a clean eating experience. My one small complaint is that the last time I was there someone didn't close the end of the sandwich Still, a little food falling out was no big deal because my tastebuds are always happy.

I decided not to go there anymore. Today I went there with my mom for the beef plate. The beef was much less than other restaurants and they cheated us with a think layer of beef covering half of the plate. We just received like the beef in sandwich. 23 dollars for a sandwich like beef plate. I am done with their attitude of cheating us.

I don’t why the staff at this restaurant think it’s appropriate to call their customers rude names because they think their customer doesn’t speak the same language. Will never go back as they think it’s ok to insult customers when they are plenty of other restaurants providing the same food. Shame on you and your rude staff.

Mr shawarma is by far the best shawarma in town, it’s my family and I favourite to go to shawarma I’ve ordered family platters to sandwiches and they are always well organized, clean and always a fast and friendly service with so much tasty good food, they are very generous. Definitely worth my money, if you haven’t tried this place your missing out.

Anniversary Special ad on the road is false advertising. Don’t say you want the special or else they will sprinkle hardly any toppings in your sandwich or ask you to pay more money… what the heck? !? Many toppings were excluded. What a joke. Find out for yourself if you want, but I 100% will never go back nor recommend to anyone. Customer service was a joke. Scummy service. Rude. Btw, there’s no garlic sauce taste to their garlic sauce

Terrible customer service. Customers waiting while staff pace slowly back and forth and are on their phones. Won’t return.

Wish I could give zero stars. Brought my date in and the owner/manager (younger guy must inherited it or just a worker acting like it’s his place) was an absolute clown. I would ask for a “little extra” for my date and he straight up refused. So embarrassing. Then when he went to my wrap he literally put scraps of the toppings on. How do you mess up a shawarma!?

Finally to not cause a scene after dealing with such rudeness, THE CHICKEN WAS SLIMY. We both threw out wraps out after a couple bites and went and spent more money at the five guys next door.

This is not where you want to get a shawarma or expect decency.

Food is good but depends who makes it. I have been here few times and thought it was one off but staff especially serving food is cold, indifferent and rude. Greets others well and serves food well. Our food portioning and sauces was not right, had to repeat myself and their clothes were touching the food.overall just unpleasant. Food industry should be pleasent and friendly no matter who they serve and should not over talk their customers with fellow colleagues in their language and laugh.

I am a customer for a couple of years. The food is delicious. Bilal is a very generous person. Timing perfect.

On the night before our wedding we had 40 of our closest family members at the house to meet for the first time. To keep the food simple but tasty we wanted to order Shawarma from Mr. Shawarma - our favourite place! Bilal had exceptional customer service, making sure we coordinated the right amount and variety of food for all our guests. Everyone loved it and kept talking about the food. So glad we have this place so close to us.

Bad service, place is not clean, and food is not tasty. There sandwiches are full of onions, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes so it can look bigger while the meat is little.smile for your customers please and training is important

Not really happy with the quality of Shawarma and the sauces. An average place to visit though there are much better options around.

Kept the lid of the poutine open which left the cheese cold. They used cold garlic potatoes rather than french fries which completely destroyed the taste and value of the food. Wouldn’t recommend 1.5/10 being generous lol.

I work close by to this Mr. Shawarma and have been going there 2-4 days a week @ lunch for 5 years. Without question, this the best and freshest quality ingredients you will ever find on a shawarma in all Ottawa. Sadly I will be moving to the east coast in a month and will absolutely miss eating here as well as their great staff. Colin

We ordered a family Sharma platter and we came all the way from Kemptville to this location because he has the best food. All of our guests raved about how wonderful the food was and there was more than enough food for everyone. Best Sharma we have ever had!

What an amazing establishment! The food is always great, the service is amazing and they make us feel like family every time!

It is so disappointing to see how you are not taking care of your business anymore, you were my best and only place to go for shawarma, nowadays your plates are terrible your service is even worst because you don’t care anymore. Last time I went to the place when I expressed my comments you completely ignored me and acted rude I’ve been very patient with you since the beginning of this year and I always try to be comprehensive but you crossed the line today. You didn’t even chop the persil chicken is bad and is all messed up. I am terribly upset. All the best for you this is my last time with you.

The food is great but the pick up is very disorganized and often late, so if you’re ordering for a specific time, expect delays.

By far my favourite shawarma spot in the city. Their meats are very tender and flavourful, and the team is super friendly. Always a great experience whenever I visit. Highly recommend

Delicious food and amazing service. I think they get the right mix of vegetables and ingredients. Also very fresh. I'm a huge fan of the veggie plate and beef plate.

Won't give it a 1 cuz I ate here before and I felt fine but not today I ate here I been feeling sick for the night not usually when I eat here I felt this pain in the stomach
