Mr. Wong Chinese Restaurant

Finally, a Chinese restaurant close to Pickering that serves legitimate, delicious and good quality Chinese food and Hong Kong tea:) I would always have to go to Markham or far in Scarborough to get anything like this. I have found none in all of Durham and I tried a few over the years. I didn't realize they opened a few months ago until I saw a sign off the road they just put up. Place is clean, new, service is great, highly recommend and we will definitely be going back! Tried their Cantonese Chow Mien, fried rice and Hong Kong Tea, bubble tea and all are 5 stars! I cannot wait to try other items on their menu.

The taste is delicious, the portions are large, the boss lady is friendly, and the environment is clean and bright. Highly recommended!

No longer a buffet. Food portions were huge but the chicken wings and fried rice lacked any flavour. Prices were decent and staff was friendly.

Bought one of their lunch specials: beef in black bean sauce on rice for $8.99. Came with a spring roll. Fair price, fair taste, needed more beef in the box.

Now the awful part. I picked up one of their grab and go containers of sushi rolls at 20% off. I got spicy salmon. When I got home and opened the container, the stench of bad/old salmon hit me immediately. Yechk! They're going to give people food poisoning. Inexcusable.

Second time I've gone and been disappointed with the quality of their food. I do want to try their bubble tea since I see good reviews here, but I doubt I'll be back for the food.
