I really like the food, best ever had, the shawarma really good taste and the service are amazing.

I hadn't been back here since it became Mr. Fez and wow, I really enjoyed my shawarma wrap. I love the homemade roti they make it on, I much prefer it over pita. The wrap was so juicy and delicious. They also do shawarma salads for lunch which I have yet to try.

Been here a few times. They are veeery cheap on the portion sizes. Lucky to get a couple shreds of lettuce, that coupled with the premium pricing makes this a 2 star. Although it does taste good.
The service isn’t the cleanliness either. Worker had extra extra greasy gloves on touching everything all the veggies the cash the wraps, handling money etc

Amazing Shawerma.probably the best in the Ottawa region hands down. Service is also great and customer oriented.the authenticity of the food and how it is done is second to none. I highly recommend the pomegranate molasses on the sandwiches and plates, a stable Syrian tradition on Shawerma

Just the place is small to sit and eat but the food and staff is really good. I tasted shawarma for the first time and it would make me go again.

One of the best falafel sandwiches I have had in Ottawa in terms of taste and freshness. The bread is delicious, and the extra time was taken to heat the sandwich on the grill. Very much recommend.

Picked up a take out about half hour ago. Pretty disappointed with the food. Ordered a taboulleh, chicken wrap and a fries. Taboulleh was made on the fly with chunks of parsley from the salad section. The guy could have atleast finely chopped it. Was missing 1 key ingredient- bulgur. If some has to be so lazy, just say we are out for day instead of messing up with cusmoters meal. The fries were put in cold oil. The person at the counter realised after 5 minutes so turned on the fryer. Result - oil drenched fries. Chicken in the wrap was dry and cold.
Now i feel i should have said something as i saw him making the taboulleh and turning on the fryer 5 minutes after dropping the fries in the oil.
Lesson learned - speak up if you see wrong doing.
Do not order too close to closing times. Staff is to lazy to prepare your food

Got a chicken shawarma and garlic potatoes. The shawarma was great, the pita was really nice and the chicken was seasoned very well. The potatoes were very unevenly cooked, some were raw, some were fully cooked. The garlic sauce wasn't as garlicy as I like but that's just personal preference.

The guy working there was great and friendly, I'd definitely recommend getting a shawarma the pita is the best ive had in the city and the meat is seasoned beautify.

Gummy taters, cool fez'z.

This has become my favourite lunch place.
It started when i found out THEY MAKE THEIR OWN BREAD, it was a completely different style and texture, made in house, the bread chewy but crispy.

I tried this restaurant shortly after their recent opening and was delighted to find they sell shawarma poutine and garlic potato poutine (mr fez poutine) which with garlic sauce added is a delicious and affordable meal!

While eating in their resteraunt I overheard the staff giving suggestions to a costomer asking how to immprove his home made hummus. After that i quized them on what was made in house and they make their own hummus garlic sauce bread and pickled turnips, pomegranate sauce (which i'd highly recommend trying) and they cut their own potatoes. The staff were helpful and happy to answer all my questions.

The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, different, and made in house. I would absolutely recommend going here for lunch or dinner!

Absolutely delicious shawarma and the people are incredibly nice. I would definitely recommend this place!

For the food I would give it 6 stars if I could, for the service and friendly staff I’d give it 7 stars if I could. The “friend of the owners son” was amazing and I will be back to try some of his other recommendations

Today I went to eat at Mr. Fez and honestly it was the best shawarma I have ever ate. The service is amazing!
I recommend everyone to come and eat at Mr. Fez.

Like others have said, service was friendly and pleasant. Sodas are really cold, which is a new problem with many takeout places, but the food.

The garlic sauce barely had any garlic taste.
The chicken and the beef had unusual textures.
The potatoes were under seasoned
The rice was dry
The salad was in decent shape but the pickles were not top notch.

There is clearly a suspicious amount of 5 stars reviews here, one of the hints is most of the reviews are made by accounts with only one review.

Great Syrian shawarma place! Try their pomegranate sauce on top as well it’s sweet and tangy. They even have taco shawarma and other unique offerings.

A small local restaurant with great service, food, and overall experience! Definitely a go-to shawarma place when you’re downtown. Huge variety of dishes to choose from & sides are delicious as well.

Best shawarma in Ottawa. Freshly cut off the spit. They use saj not a bready pita. Sauces are perfectly spiced. Crisped on the grill to perfection. Authentic and delicious

Had the mixed saaj sandwich and it was delicious. All of the components were delicious and the meat very flavorful. Pricing is very competitive for the size of the roll. However, they lost a star because the sandwich was not rolled properly and fell apart halfway through, causing a huge mess.

This is by far my favourite shawarma place in Ottawa. Their special Saj bread is like nothing I've ever had anywhere else, which makes the shawarma taste even more incredible. The meat portions are very generous too, and the Mr. Fez staff are super friendly
