Even though it is a Turkish restaurant, the cooker is Ukrainian. It was the worst minced meat pita I have ever eaten in my life.

I had MR. Pide 3x already and I can say it’s the best in town! All ingredients are fresh and delicious, the service it’s unique and personalized. Love the environment, very friendly. Super recommend.

Amazing taste and service! Great place to visit every week! Different flavors of pizza and sauces. The Garlic sauce is the best one.

Words can’t explain how delicious is the food! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The new owner is very kind and is doing an amazing job taking the restaurant to the next level! The place was clean, organized and very pleasant. I ordered the PEAR AND GORGONZOLA PIDE, which they told me it is new and a specialty, and I have to say that it blew my mind. It, for sure, became my favorite! Totally recommend it. I also tried the Nutella and strawberry one and I loooooved how they added cheese too, it tastes amazing! Totally recommend the place

This place used to be amazing and reasonably prices. Now it’s very Overpriced. They have two menus inside the restaurant each one with different prices. On the point of sale the prices are also different (higher) and online the prices are different!? I bought two pides (which are dough and cheese) for $40? ! Glad Pap Jones is next door.

We came to eat authentic Turkish pide's all the way from Mississauga since their 4.6 stat reviews were very promising. At first, the idea of focusing solely on a traditional dish that is wood-oven cooked, dough-based sounded really appealing. We ordered variety of pide's with a good hearth and huge appetite. Turns out, pide's and their way of preparation were huge disappointment to any Mediterranean palate whoever tried the original pide even once before in their life. I will list some of the reasons why our experience with Mr. Pide was a huge disappointment.

1-) First and foremost, they don't use the right oven (of course wood-fired oven). They don't even bother using commercial propane pizza oven. (at least it could hide this disgrace to a degree) Instead they intentionally use cheap electric oven just like any low budget buy 1 get 1 for free pizza restaurant chain. In result, pide's and lahmacun's lack crust on the outside and get mushy, uncooked grossly, and covered with raw powdery flour underneath. In short, food quality and authenticity of the food is as poor as what you make at home with your conventional oven and recipe found on YouTube in a vey short time.

2-) Everywhere on earth, Lahmacun comes with fresh parsley, some salad to be used as filling, and fresh juicy lemon wedges to be used to give your fillings some acidity and balance. However, in Mr Pide, you will be served raw onions that sliced one-inch thick, some spoiled italian parsley pieces, lemons has little to zero juice, and two little squishy pickled peppers. Chili flakes container on our table was terribly dirty that I had to pass it to other table since it sickened me so bad.

3-) Lack of options and very little efford on the Menu. When we were there, they said Kavurma pide and Kusbasili Pide was sold out. We ordered couple of pide's and we end up eating almost entirely same dish with different names. To be more clear ; Lahmacun, Etli Ekmek, Kiymali Acik, Yumurtali Acik, Kiymali Kapali, Kiymali Kasarli, Ispanakli Kiymali (7 out of 20 items in the menu) has the exact ground beef base filling. That makes your dining experience extremely boring.

4-) Restaurant is sponsored by the Wholesale Club.
All the serving boards are identical and seems very bulky. Tables, chairs, presentation, overall ambiance has little to zero special touch. Everything is designed to look and feel mediocre. Food packaging and red deli sandwich paper that they use seems very cheap as well. Even the water is Real Canadian brand. When it comes to the menu and their take out flyer, you encounter that carelessness and lack of effort again.

Disclaimer: Lastly, I would like to mention that I have no intention to discredit their hard work or humiliate the owner's creativity. I am just a customer who is very unsatisfied with the food and overall experience. To be fair, the idea of running a pide store in Toronto is a very bold one. If the owners wish to discuss what could have done better to improve the dinning experience, I would glad to give them my constructive suggestions.

You will not be disappointed, great atmosphere, great food, great presentation and very sweet staff who serve you with a big smile!

It’s one of the best “lahmacun” (Turkish pizza with ground beef) I have had in Canada and USA. It’s a bit spicy, but you can try “etli ekmek”, which is similar to “lahmacun” and isn’t spicy. I have tried their pide as well. Although, pide was good, but not as good as lahmacun. I would recommend mixed pide, which has sample of each pide, so you can taste each of them, spinach, beef, sausage, ground beef, etc. Staff are friendly and it’s pretty clean. The service is s bit slow, since they bake freshly, and definitely it worth to wait.

Definitely order well ahead of time, they can get very busy and takes about 15-20 for your pide.
The pide was tasty, and cooked perfectly. Really enjoyed my first try!

Mr. Pide is an incredible restaurant. I am a huge fan of Turkish pizza pide and from all the places i have tried they are amazing. Now the owner has a new menu with cheese kofta and some other new amazing things added to there menu. There desserts and drink options are good as well and the owner is a very nice person always making sure everything is good.

2 stars because the food is ok but the service is worse every time.
About the price, what a joke! We all know about inflation but a markup of 30% …

Authentic and tasty Turkish food. We had just come back from travelling to Turkey and we had a cravinf for some Turkish food. We ordered the meviane pide and off the main menu we had the white bean and beef stew. Both were delicious and came out very quickly. The worker was very helpful and answered our questions easily. Would definitely return.

Food is great, but us and other guests had to ask to see our bills, which aren’t given to you at check out ;)

They have one Chef his name is Yorgo. He is best chef on Turkish cuisine in Toronto. He is cooking Turkish soup, Ottoman cuisine and deserts. Owner is really helpful and smile face guy. ı gave 5 star for food taste.every time fresh and delicious. I am highly recommended pide and Turkish food.

So I've lived on the Danforth for 15 years, and I remember very well the old owners of Mr. Pide, a husband and wife, while the husband's mother used to cook in the kitchen. The food was amazing! However since the owners changed about 5 years ago, everything went downhill. The prices went up and the quality went down. I do understand that the new owners want to "maximize" their profit like every other business, but when you're used to a certain level of quality (at a decent price), it is very difficult to get adjusted to a lower level of quality at a higher price.

The traditional Turkish Pides are delicious here. I've had them more than once. Lots of variety and great seasoning. Great customer service. The restaurants atmosphere is also well done with Turkish cultural artwork.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Great for takeout and dine in.

Excellent food. Menu is extensive and  to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. They do different deals on different nights so it’s worth checking them out before you book. Highly recommended

The master chef YORGO has  a unique method of culinary experience where food becomes art.   The fresh and lean prepared food will bring you back to your factory settings. By far the best food in the Mediterranean cuisine.

It’s a shame that they call it lahmacun. As a Turk, I can definetly say that It’s not lahmacun. We also tried etli ekmek, havent you ever seen or tasted etli ekmek in Turkey? How you can claim that it’s etli ekmek? Anyway, I am not gonna buy anything from this place again, and dont recommend those who know what real lahmacun/pide is.

I loved their pides! Food took a long time to get ready and I think it’s a bit pricy. I would go back again to try more items on their menu!

Delicious pide! We got one melvana and the other one was spinach and feta cheese. The spinach pide was a bit oily and heavy. The melavana was better.

Very nice cozy little place for a halal quick bite. They make your order fresh so it takes about 15 min. The pide I ordered was very good. Definitely recommended.

This place provides excellent service as well as delicious menu. One of my favourite spots in the city. The food and drinks served quickly and the rates are affordable. I recommend this place.

Purchased two pide from there, one that was the karasik pide and one sebzeli but was dissapointed with the inconsistancy of the portions between the two and the quality was not worth the price paid ($36 for two) which I believe that if your going ti charge that much for a small pide then at least make it worth it for the customer. I came from bowmanville and will never go back. I would rather save my money and visit istanbul for $750 two way flight and pay $2.50 usd for a pide which will be filling and authentic.

I tried this place once with my friend and I am addicted ever since. I loved the great character and delightful dishes and beverages. 5 stars from me.

We went to Mr. Pide late at night and got the best-seller combination pide (#18) and the dessert pide made of nutella. Both were fantastic. We would recommend eating it in store to have it fresh, but taking it to go both were still fantastic. We will be back!

We've been coming here since moving to the GTA and we still haven't found another pide place to compare. Very homey feel inside the restaurant and friendly staff. The food is excellent quality and will keep referring friends here!

Local gem, they have perfect pide (Turkish pizza) and special items such as kokorec and midye you can hardly find anywhere else. Their hospitality and service is top notch too. Always recommend here to my friends

Great food! Fantastic people. Delicious kataif. This is a small eatry at Danforth with a very good pide and lahmacun. I highly recommend this place, the owner and waiters are Turkish which just adds to the charm

This spot never fails to deliver. They have fresh dishes for convenient prices, there is no waiting time even when the place is loaded.

Authentic Turkish pides which all taste delicious. The restaurant had a recent makeover and has more seating than it used to which is great. Staff are friendly and attentive. My only negative feedback is that the parsley and “filling” supplied for the lahmacun are very scarce. I have noticed this on a three different occasions.

Mr. Pide is SUPA LIIIIIT. I tried the kiymali kasarli, the kavurmali and the ispanakli beyaz. AND THEY WERE ALL SUPER AMAZING, it's like a calzone and pizza but on steroids and with a lot more flavors and less superficial ingredients. I HIGHLY recommend the kavurmali, which to me was the best one (roasted lamb & mozzarella is like Ronaldo and Messi playing on the same team).

Their pide is really good, and their customer service is friendly. The reason I am giving them 3 stars is that when I last went, they had a very strong scent from probably burning a scented candle to which I am unfortunately, very allergic. So, I had to wait outside of the store during winter until they finished my order. If you're allergic to scents, you might want to be careful.

I visit this lovely place many times a year! This is the best place to eat. The food is excellent, I like going in this restaurant to have a tasty meal.

I visit this outstanding restaurant often because I like the good air that is part of this place. The team is very welcoming and well trained. The service is awfully rapid. Also, the food they serve is outstanding. I have been there many times and I was always pleased. The payment is reasobable. I suggest this restaurant to all my friends.

Last night was our first time we went to this place. But It is surely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the good service, with the fine food and fine drinks and with the friendly cost. We will definitely go back there soon.
