They are running a fraud scam. Every item cost more on the receipt than the menu. See evidence attached

Subs were good, staff were very friendly, but totally ripped me off.

First up the owner he’s amazing. But there’s an angry older woman who’s just constantly ruining this location. She is just not a happy person, rude to co workers and just seems genuinely annoyed to be taking our order. 40 min for fast food is just ridiculous and it’s turning me off of this location. My husband out right refuses to step foot in here now because it’s more then he can handle.

This Mr. Sub location has the friendliest staff i have ever come across. They recently added poutine to the menu and it tastes really good. They do not cheap out on the gravy and cheese. My kids absolutely love it and always want to go back.

I've been a Mr Sub patron for a very long time. Love the classic assorted super sub. Unfortunately that's where "Super" ends at this location. Service is definitely lacking, the place is in rough shape, and tired looking. At least the subs are still ok for a quick bite.
With the delicious selection of similarly priced food with much higher quality across the street at Firehouse Subs, I'll be "crossing over" to fresher next time!

Absolutely look forward to Sunday as I always order subs for supper. This location is an absolute gem to deal with. The girl Mackenzie is a.hoot and true customer service star, the older lady is always smiling when I order. Absolutely best location that makes their subs with love!

The person wearing a black uniform called “Sid”. Was either the Supervisor on Duty or the Franchisee who did not want to be there. Sid needs to be fired. Did was yelling at customers and at the staff when I was there Thursday night at 9: 20 pm April 6th 2023.
He was yelling at a customer, for the customer did not tell the cashier that they had an online coupon on their phone before placing their order. He yelled at the customer for 2 minutes, he would not let it go.
Then he started to yell at the staff as Sid lost his knife and could not find it. He kept YELLING at the staff that someone took HIS large knife.
There was no call for him to yell at the customer and staff like that.

Sid needs to be replaced. Yes FIRED!

I ordered my regular club sub, when she started to put the lettuce on I noticed it was kind of brown. I looked in the lettuce bin and noticed the entire bin was brown. I pointed out to her that it was Brown and she promptly told the other lady to throw out all of the lettuce that was in the bin. My point is why didn’t they notice that? Why did I have to point it out? It was pretty obvious it was the day before lettuce and they wanted to try to use it up. That is not up to standards for Mr. Sub. They always rush making the subs and they are a complete mess.

This is usually my go to location and I have a lot of respect for the owner but it took me 45 minutes to get two subs. The lineup was 8 long. The toppings were low. Bread was low and the lady that is working every time I go is miserable as ever. She must ask me three times before she starts what kind of sub. She fiddles with the wrapping and bun until it is in a certain direction. She gives no respect to the girls she works with. She’s so busy listening to them that she is asking the same questions over and over. What kind of sub. What bread. Etc.
I’m not 100% sure why when making a poutine they put fries in the box, walk to the other side to put cheese and gravy to come back for the rest of the fries to go back and finish with more gravy and cheese. Why not have it all in one place. They have to wait to get room to go back and forth. It’s a circus back there.
I know the owner has worked a couple of decades but they need you back to put the place back together. You need new staff in the evenings.
Sorry but I’m going to have to go somewhere else when that employee is working it’s so frustrating and waiting on her. I’m sure there are other things she can do that are not customer facing.

Subs were good, I got 3 large subs all veggie. For prices, it’s pretty expensive my order came out to around $27. The staff were not very communicative, they made a lot of mistakes making the subs.

There is a big disconnect between staff at this location. Its the only mr sub that i know of that gives the options of the grill which is great feature

If you get the right employee you get wonderful service and a great meal and vice versa with the wrong one.
The best is an extremely pleasant, professional young girl who is absolutely wonderful and always smiling with a perfect demeanor.
Another younger girl seems to be in training and is maybe unsure of what's expected of her.
Lastly there is a crotchety old whale of a woman with a permanent scowl and absoluely zero customer service skills who seems to project to the world that she hates life. She puts no effort into being pleasant, attempting to smile or goes anywhere beyond bare minimum when it comes to serving the customer well while making a quality meal. If you walk in and are greeted by the younger blond girl, you're in luck and it's worth ordering. Otherwise you're best bet is to turn around, leave and hit subway or firehouse. I couldn't even go in today so opted for a burger next door. The beached whale is the epidimy of "effing miserable". Tasty burger next door though so it wasn't a complete waste of a trip

Let me paint you a picture. One day in the middle of summer, myself and my partner headed down to Michigan to meet with my brother and his wife for the day. We left early while the dew was still fresh after a late summer rain. I was tasked to bring drinks for our picnic in Michigan and admittedly I bought way too many. Just so you’re clear, there was six people there and I brought a selection of about 60 drinks. Fair to say, nobody left thirsty.

Anyways. Back to the main plot. Upon cessation of the picnic and fine time with family, I returned from whence I came and traversed back to my home in Cambridge. The roads that day were demanding and traffic halted us multiple times. It was deep in the Eve when I made it back and I had one thing on my mind: sustenance. But where does one go, you may ask, at such daunting hours of the night.

As I drove, I sought something fresh yet satisfying. Nothing greasy and disheartening. As if by fate’s own doing I look to my right and saw the glow of hope: the Mr Sub sign. Myself and my partner entered in and what we were met with was outstanding.

Two hard working, kind, gentle and humours souls greeted us with a smile and laugh. We made our order as quick as they demanded it and they began to work swiftly. But not too swiftly as they sought to entertain us with their wit, humour and good will. We left with more than just food in our bellies. We also left with laugher in our hearts. It was the perfect end to a delightful day and was the sanctuary we needed after are arduous journey.

I can’t say much about the drinks because I didn’t order any because I had plenty left over from the picnic, as you will recall. But I can say that this Mr Sub is like no other. The charm of the staff and honour of their labour is to be appreciated.

On a serious note, the two workers were delightful and did a great job working away. If you expect everything in this life to go as you want, you should get a reality check. And also, you may miss out on the beauty that comes from people being people. The subs, are subs. Don’t expect them to change your life. But they’re filling, the people serving are good people. Bon appetit.

Went to Subway 1st. They decided to close 15 minutes early. So I went to Mr. Sub who served me even though it was actually past their close time. Thank you Mr. Sub for not being Subway!
