Mrtazzy Import Car Specialist

From past experiences, I’m leery of bringing my car to a mechanic bc I know next to nothing about cars and I fear he/she will take advantage of it. Not here. One of the mechanics took my car for a test drive and explained that there was nothing wrong, just a misplaced piece and removed it. No upsell. No fee.

Unprofessional staff, I arrived at the place to change winter tires with the family car and I was simply stuck there for more than 3 hours because the machine was weak and the staff did not know how to operate it properly, simply a waste of precious time, of course there was no pressure and I was alone there and they were not busy with other things, Simply unprofessional!

I waited over one full year to write this review. Last summer, AC stopped working on my Honda CRV. Mrtazzy were able to diagnose the problem, did the repair, and it's been working fine since then. Thank you, Mrtazzy!

They were nice but they couldn’t put on Michelin PS4S properly so they ended up scratching and chipping parts of the rims as they forced it on

Great honest people working at this mechanic who don’t try to upsell you on repairs you don’t need. Honest about prices, timing and condition of your car.

Great service from Steve at Mrtazzy. I brought my X5 in for an oil service. The service was done right on time as per my appointment. Quality German products were used and the price was very reasonable.

One of the best mechanic shops I been too. One mechanic there named Abdullah took good care of me he was very good at explaining whats wrong with my car and told me how much time they need to fix it and I was happy about the price too. I would definitely recommend this shop too my friends.

Mr. Tazzy was able to fix a problem that would have cost me a lot of money at my dealership for a mere fraction of the cost. Very Grateful for their expertise.

I went there for oil change and tire swap was less then hour my car done good service and fast staff it’s worth your time and money to go there

1. They couldn’t fix my car
2. They charged me $500 for labor. I’m not too mad because I know mechanics don’t work for free
3. They scraped my front bumper on the passenger side!
You’d think that since they damaged my car, they would not have me pay the $500 bill or atleast get the damage fixed but no. I pretty much paid them $500 to scrape my car and nothing else.

Response: I definitely pointed out the scuff mark on my front bumper. You said ‘Wasn’t that there when you dropped the car off? ’. I said that it was not and you said you would get it fixed.

2nd Update: After discussions with a new manager, the staff have replaced the brakes under warranty. Demi (I apologize if the spelling is incorrect) was very gracious in reaching out, and apologized for the issues I had previously. They booked my appointment right away, and serviced my vehicle. They provided a good resolution to the problem below.

Update: New manager has ruined the Mr. Tazzy name. Do not use this shop. Take your domestic and imports elsewhere (Canadian tire would be better based on what I just dealt with).

Roland and Co.are no longer there. The manager will not honor warranty claims made prior to his takeover. I have a front brake pad that is screaming and emitting dust. After lying about even having my service record, which his admin lady pulled up and looked at and discussed while I was in the shop, he then said he didn't know which pads I even had on the car. This was another lie, as the same lady had pulled them up and all three of us looked at them. He then said that as they are not warrantied under his company name (hiding behind a corporate name change) he wouldn't replace them. I have spent well over $10k in 3 years having tuning upgrades and other work done at this shop, in addition to sending fleet vehicles and friends there. And he has lost all that business over less than $100 in brake pads. Reprehensible customer service skills: repeated lying and doubling down on them when confronted, fighting to have calls returned (had to call 4 times over a week, when they said they would return calls), 0 resolution. Looking into what recourse I have through the CC.

Total disaster since Roland sold this business.thought I'd give them a chance.what a terrible mistake!

After many bumped appointments- empty promises-unreturned calls they eventually told me my sensors had to be ordered from Germany and it would take 2-3 weeks for them to arrive- I made 1 phone call and had the parts in my hand 22 mins later. I've been without vehicle for weeks due to their complete incompetence.

They may be short of staff but they are definitely long on excuses.save your time/money/patience and literally just go anywhere else.too bad- yet another customer gone forever!

Probably the worst service I have ever experience anywhere. This place was great when there was a old owner but, since the switch it has gone downhill. Back In like may/June our car when in for service. They said they had to order a part and it would take approx 2 weeks. After they forgot to order it and 3 months later we finally had the part. I booked an appointment to bring the car in very early. 5 hours later the car hasn’t been touched and may not be finished the day we booked it to be done. Very frustrating, wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

This guy must have too much money. I've tried 4 different times to get work done here and no one answers phones or returns voicemails. This last time the appointment was scheduled a week in advance and then I was completely ghosted. Take note of the other reviews that mention this. Roland if you want to make this right, you have my number.

Edit: It's sad that you can reply to reviews but not voicemails. Covid had no effect on this transaction as I had the parts ready to install and called you a week in advance to book the installation. Please don't bother calling I'm no longer interested in working with you.

No customer service. Literally none. Mrtazzy was highly recommended to me by my colleagues so I visited their website in which I requested a quote for winter tires services. I received an email that redirected me to call instead. I called and was told I would get a call back.but twice no follow up call. I even sent an email to get some help and still no response. Hello?

Did the alignment on the Hemi and she's straight as an arrow I will most definitely be back for some exhaust work

I service many of my cars through Mr. Tazzy. The guys over at Mr Tazzy know what they are doing, they have worked on my 435i, Audi A5, and my 2016 bmw 750i. Mr Tazzy completed a job on my 2016 7-Series that BMW was charging $1700 for, for $700. If you have a European car, this is the place to go.

These guys are good. BMW X5 got new tires, alignment, oil change and spark plugs. Alignment was amazing and well done.

Honest, reliable, and experienced with imports as well as domestics. Rolland and his team are simply the best shop in the GTA. They are "specialists" in the truest sense of the word, don't trust your your wheeled baby with anyone else.

I've known Roland and the folks at his shop for over 10 years and he has serviced all my VWs, MB and Honda. His team's tenacity to tackle the toughest problems with modern cars is impressive and worthy of respect. They exceeded my expectations with a recent incident involving my Mercedes and blown ECU due to a charging incident. Roland's dedication and international efforts to locate parts, software and tools to fix the problem were admirable. I know he spent much more time on the problem than he charged me for but that is also a testament to his dedication to continue expanding his deep knowledge, knowing that this experience will help other customers.

Roland's depth of vehicular knowledge seems endless and every one of my vehicles in the past 10 years have been serviced by him and his staff. You can confidently leave the dealership in your rear-view mirror and know that Roland and his team will do a better, more meticulous job than the dealer could ever aspire to.

I have to say, I was in a bind with my vehicle breaking down and needing a tow and repairs. My car was towed and repaired the same day, at a fair price. Great service guys and I will be back for any type of service because of this. 10 stars if possible!

Hands down excellent shop for import cars! I trust my sources.

Used this garage for the first time this Fall to deal with some issues on my son's new/used car. The service was courteous and on-time. The lead technician that did the work was excellent - he was able to determine the source of the problem and had the vehicle repaired quickly. I also was able to get a competitive quote for snow tire and rims which we went ahead and purchased. What really drives the rating: work was performed on time, charges were reasonable, the technician knew his stuff, customer service was great and the overall atmosphere in the shop was excellent.

I have brought all of my vehicles to Roland for years and highly recommend his shop. He and his staff are masters at diagnosing issues and are honest and upfront with what needs urgent attention and what can wait. I always feel my car is safe in their hands and I trust these mechanics, which I can't say I've felt at other places in the past. Sarah is great at the front desk and Roland, Taz, Hayden, and the whole crew are very professional. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

I am only interested in a car mechanic who is honest and I can trust him with my car.

This is what’s missing in life and what matters the most.

Let me explain:

I was in a meeting with Roland, a team member mechanic stepped in and asked Roland that and oil change was suspected to have been performed Pre- maturely as an oil sticker marker was missing.
Roland: didn’t ask much, “ he said, give it for free”

He didn’t blink, didn’t blame anyone!

Just took ownership of the problem and made sure customer is risk free!

Later in 20 mins: the same mechanic
Stepped in and said “ we found the sticker, we didn’t do a mistake “!

You can imagine the rest.

You don’t need the best mechanic, you simply need an honest one!

If he knows what he is doing, it’s good.
And if he doesn’t, he will tell you upfront.

I ask god to bless his business and give him a return for his honesty in this life and the other.

I went to a local garage in town and the problem was still there after being charged for 2 hour labour. I was referred to Mr. Tazzy and they fixed my car and also checked everything else for me. I will be going to this shop from now on. Excellent job!

Went here for years. Realize now how much these guys took advantage of me.
I have a Mini. Get battery checked say nothing is wrong with my car.go to start my car and nothing. Needs an oil change.put too much oil in my car.brought it back the drained it.next day engine seizure NO OIL!
I will not be ever using this service again. No compensation so regards for customer service what so ever. Sad

I have two Mercedes and heard from a friend that Mr. Tazzy is the place to go. The price was very reasonable and they were professional. I will definitely back to this shop.

Everyone here does a great job, from reception to mechanics, and the owner (Roland I believe?) is a really friendly guy. I spoke with him as I was attempting a DIY job replacing spark plugs on my car and he was very helpful. I couldn't get some stripped screws off so I brought it over and they took them off for me without making me feel dumb at all (happy to report the job went well. Thanks!).

One thing that really stands out to me is their stellar communication. Couldn't tell you the number of shops I've encountered who just don't communicate with you or are slow to do so regarding delays, getting additional work done, etc.etc. They also provide updates on stuff that may need repairing soon, which I like. When it comes to quotes, they give you the worst-case scenario cost so it usually ends up being cheaper.

Their shop rate is relatively high ($120/h) but they do the work better and faster than everyone else. So it ends up costing roughly the same as the next indy charging a lower rate. I'll continue bringing my 2010 C-Class here since they do what I need done right the first time.

I gave 4 stars just in case there's room to grow. I would recommend anyone having problems with their vehicle to see them asap before you end up in the wrong shop.

Words can't even completely describe how disappointed I was with the service here.

I brought in my car, a 2007 Audi S6, for an overheating issue. Roland was able to find the cause of the issue fairly quickly (bad radiator), which was a good sign because none of the other 3 mechanics I had taken it to previously could figure it out. But it all went downhill from there.

One, I was never given a time frame for the repair. It's completely understandable if the shop gets busy and things take a little bit longer. However, not once did anyone from the shop ever contact me when there was a delay. If a part needed to be ordered, if something took longer than expected. Most of the time, my calls went unanswered and my messages were not replied to. When they actually did pick up, they had a whole new story about what was happening with the car. Quite unsettling that they never ran anything by me.

Then comes the lying. I had dropped off a water pump I ordered from RockAuto with the car, figuring they may as well replace that while they had the car open. It was still in the box, branded with AC Delco logos on all 4 sides. About 2 weeks after I had dropped the car off, I ask how the job is coming along. I get a reply that the AC Delco water pump does not fit. Okay, sometimes parts don't fit, no big deal. But the manner in which it was explained is something else. Roland repeatedly expressed his confusion on why AC Delco 'would even try to make a pump for this car'. I asked why he didn't think to share his doubts about the water pump when I had first dropped off the parts, and he said he didn't know it was an AC Delco part. When I mentioned it was in a blue and white box with AC Delco markings all over it, he said that it wasn't, that it was just in a brown cardboard box. Complete lie.

Finally, after nearly 4 weeks, the car is ready for pick up. After picking it up, I notice a few things. One, my bill has a charge for installing sway bars. It's only $66, but I did not ask that to be done and nobody asked my permission to install them. Two, my driver seat has a rip in it. Looks like it was caused by someone with a screw driver in their pocket being careless while sitting in the car. Three, my passenger side anti-dazzle mirror is cracked and the liquid is pooled at the bottom. Four, my sunroof shade no longer moves with the sunroof. Five, my adaptive headlights no longer move up and down. Six, the sensor for the hood is constantly reading as being open. Seven, parts of the air intake have been crazy glued together after being carelessly ripped off. And finally, eight: one of the coolant hoses by the radiator simply popped off while driving on the highway, completely emptying my coolant supply in a matter of minutes.

The time is one thing. If I had been told from the start how long the job may take, it would not have been an issue as I could plan out how long I would need a rental car. Instead, it was always me having to call 5 times to get a response saying they needed more time. On that note, I called yesterday at 4: 30PM regarding the coolant hose popping off saying I needed to speak with Roland. It's been 19 hours since the call and I still have not received a response. Just the overall low quality work done is enough for me to actively make sure no one wastes their time here. If you want an oil change, sure, any ape with a socket set can do that. But for anything else, you will be in for a major headache.

I thought I had finally found a decent mechanic to rely on, instead, I found the FRAM oil filter of mechanics.

First class service for my aging import and domestic cars. My first choice for tires too.
