I have tried regular nachos and veggie quesadillas, it was too good in taste. A girl name, Karen, consistently provides excellent service, earning positive feedback from customers. Keep it up girl!
I wanted to convey my gratitude, especially to Sumit, the Indian man who helped me, for the wonderful experience I had with the service offered. In order to make my visit unique, Sumit went above and beyond. His level of customer service was genuinely exceptional, which is becoming increasingly uncommon in today's world.
The care with which Sumit handled me throughout my visit and his attention to detail made an impression on me. I actually appreciated his kind demeanour. I'm eager to come back in the future and utilise this fantastic service once again.
I can't say enough good things about Sumit and the crew, so if you're thinking about using their services, I definitely suggest it. They have achieved a great level of customer service that merits praise. I'll see you all shortly.
We ordered one barbacoa wrap and three barbacoa burrito bowl. I received only one bowl with barbacoa in it. After I confronted the food counter attendant (Indian female employee) about it. She was adamant that the barbacoa was there and "maybe" we were lying or had eaten it all. [refer to the attached image].
She even had the audacity of saying "I can check the camera". I encourage you to check the camera and make it public for everyone to see it. Also, there was barely any sauce for the missing barbacoa burrito bowl.
At the end, she did add the barbacoa. At the cost of havng a back and forth argument.
Never before had I experienced this much insult from a restaurant food service.
I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone if the same employee was working there. Unprofessional behavior.

Since the new owners have been here, we have thoroughly enjoyed every single thing we have ordered. The restaurant is super clean, we are always greeted with a Hello and smile when we come in and the service is second to none. They make you feel welcome and take great care of their customers. I'm very impressed with the turn around of this restaurant since the new management took over. The staff are friendly and attentive, the quality of the ingredients has improved significantly and the atmosphere is extremely positive. I was hesitant to try it out since having multiple 'bad experiences ' last year, but when I saw the sign stating 'under new management' I had to give it another try, and I'm so glad I did. I definitely recommend you give it another chance, you won't be disappointed.
My husband and I went to grab some burritos tonight. We found: Friendly, polite stuff. Fresh ingredients, taste very good. Warm, clean facility. One humble observation is that the rice is a bit on the hard side. Perhaps, cooking it to a more tender texture will go better since you already have the beans on the chewy side. Other than that it's one of the best burritos I've ever eaten.and I'm very critical of my food. They have great toppings, spicy sauces, and they load your burrito which makes the prices to be not too bad for the size you get for it. Keep up the good work team at mucho burrito Keswick! Since the new owners took over the food is much much better. I went and grabbed lunch for my husband and I today and they had warm greetings when walking in the door, super kind, super upbeat great service and smiles. It was away better experience than before. Will be back!
PSA: Under new ownership/management! This location has vastly improved in all aspects - cleanliness, customer service, quality and freshness of ingredients. If you’ve been avoiding this location because of previous experiences, don’t be afraid to try again. The staff are always courteous, and the food is fresh and delicious.
Mucho Burrito is one of my favourite burrito chains out there. Keswick's location got off to a rocky start when it first opened, and I even gave up on trying it again after two negative experiences. Then, many months later, I tried it as a last restort in the hopes that they had worked out the kinks, and it was great! Great if not better than it's always been, both in terms of food and service. Both have improved remarkably. Since then, I have been ordering from there regularly with only overwhelmingly postiive experiences to speak of. They welcome you when you walk in the door, they prepare your food with a great attitude, and in more than a few instances they gave me a bit extra with my order. Do yourself a favour and keep this burrito place alive in Keswick. If you were turned off at first, try it again. You won't be disappointed.
First time coming to this mucho burrito branch, I entered the restaurant and I quickly recognized that this locations was no joke, it was incredibly clean and the staff welcomed me with a smile and took my order with full attentiveness and extreme kindness! By the time I left my thoughts were affirmed, this was the peak of mucho burrito. I was blown away with the amazing customer service I received and the quality and care the workers put in are shown in the food they produced. Everything was cooked wonderfully and the burritos were packed perfectly.
Anybody in the area, whether a local or a hungry traveller passing by should not hesitate to come and have the best mucho burrito experience this life has to offer.
The worker there was so so nice.she gave me a GENEROUS amount of toppings, and gave me great advice to make it taste better.she was so funny, generous, giving, and sweet! 2 burrito combos (regular and small), and one regular for a great price of $30! The food there is SO so delicious! It’s full of so much flavour and it tastes like HEAVEN! I love this place with all my heart.
Amazing catering! On time and with great tasting food. Everyone who attended our wedding on August 27th loved it! I want to especially thank Liz Lumley for doing such a fantastic job organizing everything and making sure to communicate well!
Unfortunately the experience gets worse with each visit. The tables are not cleaned regularly, the front door is filthy every time.
Rice is either too dry or mushy. Often I get the bottom scraping of the ingredient bowl. I just want fresh food, this is not it.
The high turnover of staff need proper training for this place to grow. Nice people however.
For now I'll try the other burrito place in town, maybe I'll revisit Mucho Burrito Keswick when I forget this experience and am hungry again.

Ordered a burrito today and completely messed up my own order.due to internet down i was unable to see my order again and i went into the restaurant rather angry.the worker quickly showed me the receipt and that the mistake had been mine.even though the mistake was mine she replaced my burrito and made it correctly for me.absolutely amazing service.love this place!
Excellent food and service. Place Was so clean and inviting. My bowl was prepared perfectly and was delicious. I am soooo happy I went there for lunch. I will be back for sure. Thanks Liz your the best.
Honestly, this place is disgusting. Scraps of food baked to the dishes, hard skin crusting over everything in the hot table. Counters covered in grime, cross contamination of all toppings.
This was my second visit, first visit left me feeling queezy.
As someone who has worked in the hospitality sector for decades. Y'all should be ashamed, management is seriously lacking!
Other muchos are much less disastrous. Corporate needs to step in. I definitely wont be back unless there was a complete overhaul and food safety training.gross!
Horrible service, everyone that works there is very very slow and can’t wrap a burrito to save their life very heavy on the attitude with the staff and half the food is constantly cold and over done. Re staff the whole place it’s horribly ran
Staff is usually friendly but they are consistently out of key ingredients like BEANS, RICE and VEGGIES. I understand this happens but I've gone in multiple times with like 3 hours until close and there's no veggies left and yet no one is making any? Half hour to close okay I understand not wanting to make a mess regardless of how frustrating this is to the customer but when there's still 3 hours to close cmon. This most recent visit everything was instock (there's was enough veggies for me and luckily my girlfriend didn't want any) but the rice we received on our burritos was like little overcooked rocks that I could hardly handle eating. When I'm spending $30 for 2 people to eat I expect some quality, atleast being able to enjoy the food without feeling like the rice is cutting my throat on the way down. I attempted to submit a feedback request about this and have heard nothing back still, so from here on out I either stop at the mucho in Newmarket where I never have a problem or go somewhere else.
I come to this location often because it is local to me, but every time I come, there is a lack of food preparation. Seems like the manager needs better training methods to keep food toppings available. Love the food, disappointed in the available toppings. Also, compared to other mucho burrito establishments, such as Bradford and east Gwillimbury, they seem to skimp on the toppings; literally removing toppings from the burrito after it has been added. Quit counting your beans keswick, I’m hungry!
One of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time. Better hope it’s not slightly busy when you’re there because the place and the staff completely falls apart. Waited about 20 min to finally order and there were about 3 people ahead of me (2 people behind me walked out because they saw this was not going to be a short stay) No veggies available and no one seemed to be running the place or looking after the stock of ingredients. Was promised veggies by the time they were ready to wrap the burrito and obviously did not happen. Proportions of ingredients were completely skewed, asked for pickled onions and they put on like half the container. All the staff seemed to be very confused and out of it, constantly asking questions because they can’t pay attention in the first place. Did not get any kind of apology or acknowledgement from the manager or staff about the wait or the lack of ingredients. Place needs to be shut down or completely re-staffed.
Decided to have a burrito one time and had the worst culinary experience so far. They were 'out' of half the ingredients listed in their toppings menu at 3: 00 pm on a Saturday. Past all of this, the server assembling the burrito rotated the plate 90 degrees before putting it together. Half my burrito was rice. Then a splash of veggies and finally a hit of all the meat and sauce.
We ordered a sandwich in the same session. They told us their oil was cold (after we paid for it) blaming the morning staff "they didn't turn it on". They said it'll take 20 minutes to heat it up. 25 minutes later, and only after inquiring, they started cooking the chicken, telling us it'll take 10 more minutes. Their new excuse "I thought you didn't want it anymore".
The staff were also munching on the nachos (no gloves), pulling down their masks.
I've been here before, but the servers were better. Still had missing ingredients. The salads here have been okay, because a toddler could assemble stuff in a bowl.
I get the regular sized carnitas and I always have leftovers. It is very filling, fresh, and worth the price. The staff here are friendly & attentive. I have been a few times now and will continue to keep going.
Gotta admit, compared to similar places around to get a burrito, this place has fresh ingredients, however their menu somehow seems a little hard to get a quick read of what all the options are. My food still turned out very good still.
Decided to come to this location for my third time. My first 2 experiences were great the food was delicious. This time I wanted tacos. I was told they were out of hard tacos so I ordered soft tacos which they then realized they had forgotten to take out of the freezer. Long story short no tacos. Must be hard to pay the bills when people walk out due to the negligence of the staff not prepping properly
I was so excited to have a mucho burrito near by…and even more excited when I realized tonight they are open after 9, all for nothing. I feel really bad for the staff. You can tell there is absolutely no management and they’re always clueless as to what’s going on. Walked in to get a meal for my husband and myself… no chicken, no beef, no vegetables…and this is the 3rd time this has happened. Ended up having to leave because they didn’t even have what I wanted. Extremely disappointed. What a waste of a location
Very poor customer service and manager does no seem to care at all.manager was to be very rude to customers and the employees that were working as best they could in the harsh environment they were placed in. I was served by a young girl that didn't seem to know much, but I am well aware that is not her fault. I ordered a shrimp taco trio and had to wait about 20 minutes to go home and find the tacos stone cold and all of the toppings put on the tacos sloppy. I will not ever be coming into this store again after this visit.
It was my first time going to Mucho Burrito and I was not disappointed. The food was super yummy and the lady behind the counter was very patient with me and helped me decide what to order.
Ordered a shrimp burrito bowl said 4 times shrimp and after she asked what protein to which i replied for a fifth time shrimp and she says that will take about 10-15 minutes to sautée two orders of shrimp? Then i asked for the cilantro lime crema and she just says that there is none so i ignore it and go to check out then the gentleman behind me asks for the same sauce, the other employee goes oh just give me one minute and i can whip up the sauce. Like fr fr its just lime, cilantro, sour cream maybe zest and salt and pepper? There was two customers and i was in no rush. Kind of annoyed:/
Extremely bad services, lazy employees with bad arrogant attitude, not enough food in the store… the employee didn’t even know sauce’s names…. We went to this location on Sunday 25 July, 2021 7: 35 pm till 8: 35 pm… never recommend this place for Mucho Burrito… we love Mucho Burrito’s food… but today extremely upset.
Such poor service and now that I am reading these reviews, I see that the management is very poor. When I visited Thursday afternoon, the store was in horrible condition. The counters were filthy, cutting boards and manager is immature and not someone for that position. I used the restrooms and if only I took a picture. It was absolutely disgusting. The owner, Sheri Simpson can not even reply to the reviews that are negative, only replies to the good ones. I will be heading to head office when I get the chance and this place needs to be shut down and close their doors. I will not be visiting this location ever again and will be headed to BarBurrito as soon as they open.
Pace from line up to check out was ok under covid restrictions. Fresh ingredients, staff was attentive building customer selections, no slackers behind the counter. Wish the meat portion was a little bit larger for the price. Great alternative to burgers fries or chicken.
We eat here weekly…it’s our first choice for take out! The food is always fresh and healthy and the service is exceptional! We always have a pleasant experience and we love the music too:)
I like the franchise but this location has very bad customer service. Waited 30 min in line and had only two people in front of me. Had to wait 10 min after paying for them to put my bowl in a bag and give it to me. Also I have never been limited to only four topping on my veggie bowl at other locations.
One of the older staff members wasn't wearing a mask. A customer had to ask her to put one on. When the customer asked, the staff member said she would put one on in a minute after she finished what she was doing. She was at the cash register right beside the food. I will not be going back there during covid.
On this particular occasion, my Build-your-own-bowl was assembled by a very friendly, capable staff member who was generous but proper in portion sizing and I came away satiated! Thanks for great service!

Hands down the worst service and the worst attitude from the employees! I asked for 2 kids burritos, they charged me for smalls with chips on the side. When I said I had asked for kids burrito I was given attitude but one employee, then charged for kids combos but was given no chips and salsa (which comes with a kids combo) The employee kept telling me I was wrong then just walked away and started helping other people. Finally one of the other employees came over and apologized and said I was correct. I asked if there was a manager but there wasn't one at the time. Horrible attitude by the tall kid making the burritos.
Arguably the worst place to eat in Keswick. The food is always cold since they don’t warm up the meat. The vegetables aren’t even fresh they are soggy and old. I would recommend anyone coming here to reconsider and go anywhere else in Keswick.
Probably just growing pains for this new location, but not a great first impression in terms of overall quality of final product. Will give them another shot in a couple months after they get a bit of practice.
This location is very poorly run. The chicken is always cold, and the staff are terrible. The ingredients are low standard, and always a disappointing visit to this location. Needs to be managed better. Never going back again.
