The lady over there (owner) she Don't know how to talk the way she treated me was really shameful i will never go over-there again avoid to go there otherwise you can feel racism.

The south Indian girl was sweet. She made my burrito as instructed. Moved recently in town and it was my first time having a burrito there. Loved it.

The way they reduced the quantity is worse. It was very good a year ago. But now they literally giving every item just a pinch and charging extra. Worst stopped going to this place only because of the too much less quantity they are giving.

Good food and a pleasant experience. The young lady who took my veggie burrito bowl order today did that with a smile. Very courteous, friendly and good service. She even suggested toppings I wasn’t aware of. Portions were of good size, food was good. Good job mucho burrito.

I came with my family for the first time. I enjoyed the food and the people who work there are very nice and good at making burritos. The store is clean and has a nice ambiance.

I was super excited to try this place but the lady at the counter decided to totally skip over me and serve someone that came in after I did. It was just such an odd thing to do. I decided to walk out and give my money to the osmows in the same plaza. I’ll probably never return to any much burrito because of this. Oh well

Extremely slow services. It wasn’t a busy hour and it took them 30 minutes to make two burritos and a single order of nachos. As they have finished making the burritos, they put them on the metal counter at the front then start working on the nachos while the burritos are getting cold on the counter for next 15-20 minutes. They took an order from another group while they were waiting on the nachos to finish and let the group reach for our burritos on the counter. It took them about 20 seconds to realize that their burritos are still in the grill then asked them to put them back. These staffs seemed like they didn’t want to work and have lack of knowledge in food services.

They also cheap out on ingredients. I asked for sautéed veggies in my burrito and he puts two pieces of onion and three pieces of green pepper. That was it. I’ve gotten burrito bowls here then tried one from Kitchener location and realized the one from Kitchener location has 1.5x more portion than here.

Lastly, sanitary issues. These staffs change their gloves every order, which is good. But there isn’t much point of doing that if a guy with a beard decided to scratch his beard every 45 seconds and put his hand up his nose to sniff the runny nose with the new gloves on lol. I wish I didn’t see that.

Not a pleasant experience.

P. S. Your nachos may not come with sour cream and salsa even though it says so on the menu.

I came for the Cinco de mayo $7 burrito deal. Three employees were working, all clearly new hires, who moved at a snail's pace. Door dash and skip the dishes drivers were delayed in there while I was inside. Then they charged me $14 for the burrito, and when I told them of the advertised deal they said that I WAS getting the deal. False advertising.

Usually great service is provided by the owner. Food tastes great.

Decent build your own burrito, standard options. I like the choice of small/med/large size, and they mix the ingredients in the burrito so you get an even taste with each bite. A little bland, but that might have been my fault with ingredient selections. Guac costs extra, and they went a little light on the cheese.

Waited way too long! Just left this location and waited over 25 minutes for 2 burritos and i was the only one here! I get they might have has new staff but it took far too long! Burritos were super poorly rolled (honestly looked like a SUPER messy taco) and WAY too much rice! Just really bad experience! Won’t be coming back!

This locations skimps on the portions like crazy. The quesadilla wasn’t even fully filled and the bowl was half empty. The one in the Waterloo plaza is way better.

AWFUL SERVICE! I am a university student at laurier and went in after a day of two midterms. It was 10: 30pm and online it says they close at 11pm. I walked in and within seconds the worker looks at me and says we’re closed. I told her online it says they close at 11 and showed her on my phone. She then says yea well we are packing up. I said to her well what time do you close. She says like 10: 45ish. I say well it’s 10: 30. She says yea but when it’s not busy we close early. I asked her well what time do you close 10: 45 or 11. SHE THEN SAYS 11PM! The woman lied to me just so she could go home early. Refusing to serve me 10 minutes before close is one thing but 30 minutes is ridiculous. They served me and i walked out completely dissatisfied with their customer experience. Burrito places are my favourite and because i go to school right next door this could’ve been a common spot for me. Well, i’m never going back. Thanks mucho burrito for having your workers lie to my face and refuse to serve me 30 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSE! Pathetic.

My favourite Mexican burrito place in Waterloo. Their secret sauce is delicious. They offer assortment of hot sauces to have with your food for free to use in store.

The staff was awful.i wanted a kids meal and nothing specified i needed to be a certain age.i personally just didn’t want to waste for food.oh well

The rice were very undercooked. I love mucho burrito and the rice bowls and we visit this branch often but this particular experience was bad. Firstly they limited the things I can put in my bowl and then the rice were not cooked properly. I called in to complain but they said to call back in the morning because no supervisor/manager was available. Dinner was completely ruined. Garbaged them.

Got the bean burrito and it was just filled with rice and a very small of bean and other ingredients that were asked to add. Probably this happened because the order was placed online. Will again ordering in person.

Surprisingly quite healthy for a burrito place. Lots of variety in terms of toppings and sauces. I also like that the Beyond Meat isn't extra expensive.

I used to be a frequent customer of the Burrito Boyz down the road but given that it has been under construction for almost a year now, I had to find another burrito place. I am happy I landed on Mucho! They are always generous with the toppings, the staff are friendly and they make your food very fast. Would definitely recommend this location.

I was here tonight after so long on this mucho burrito location, there food and its taste is always been number one among other burrito places and i love it but the customer service i got this time was amazing, the girl working there was so fast in serving customer and even helping her co worker. Food is ok, I personally like the Tacos though i didn't appreciate the employee's continually talking before and during taking my order, focus on your work.

Love how this place mixes all your toppings so you don't have to search to get all the flavour. Went once and will drive across town just to go everytime!

Unworthy place. The price for the rice bowl is unfair. They ruined my evening. I wish i could give them -5.

I rarley write review but this time I had to. Ordered first time here, first of all quantity was very less as compared to the price, I know another place (holy guacamole) where quantity and quality is much better that too in less price, second they didn't have lettuce and other veggies which are actually in their menu, rice were poorly cooked as well. Never going to order anything here again.

Used to love this place until, i bought a bowl and was eating it then felt something hard when i bite down appears to be glass ended up having do get dental work done to that area and a filling replaced! Mybee if you ended up knowingly breaking something around food, i suggest throwing out the portion of food instead of trying to pick through the food to find a broken pieces. You are a business after all you have high margins and throwing out some food wont break your franchised business, it might save you alot of money in the long run because legal battels get quite expensive at times.

I ordered Mucho Burrito for a large corporate event on Skip the Dishes. The Owner/Manager who handled my order was very kind and professional. Unfortunately an item was missing from our order and I called to investigate. The Owner/Manager immediately investigated to find the driver left a bag. She worked quickly to get the order to me using another driver. Although to food arrived late, it was still very tasty and well received. This Owner/Manager is not afraid to take on a challenge and willing to jump in to fix errors.

Worried about getting a mouth full of sour cream or guacamole? You don't have to worry about that here, they toss the burrito before grilling it and every mouth full is packed full of all the ingredients you ordered! I talked to the owner, and she is amazing, always so sweet and makes the ingredients fresh every morning! I order from here way to often but it's definitely worth it!

The people working here are too slow. They food is good though but they dont know about the value of time. I was doing skip and it almost takes 30mins to take the order.

This is the best mucho burrito I have been to! The customer service is amazing and the owner treats the customers like family. The food was really good!

Great service.great selection of toppings. A large burrito is very filling. My only complaint is there was not a lot of chicken on the 2 large burritos that I got. Also they don't have ground beef as an option.

Let me level with you: I eat out too much. I've been buying lunch four or five days a week at King & University for more than 5 years. Try not to think about the implications for my bank account. But you can trust me when I say Mucho Burrito is above and beyond any other food vendor on this corner - and there is a LOT of competition.

There are more than a few burrito places very close by, so it takes real effort to stand out. But let me tell you, these burritos are on a completely different level. The meat is always fresh, and even though they have some 5+ options, I've never once seen them run out of any of them. The veggies are always fresh, and the guac is always perfectly consistent.

But to be quite honest - any burrito place can buy and prep good ingredients. The real notability is in the skill with which they prepare them. Extra care is taken to massage the burrito before it's wrapped to mix all ingredients together - you'll never again have that sudden mouthful of just pickled onions. Every single time I watch them add ingredients and wonder "damn, theres no way they're gonna be able to wrap up all that. " Every time I'm shocked to find that they've somehow coerced an incredible amount of food into the thiccest burritos in Waterloo. And yet, not once have I EVER had a burrito split on me. I have no idea how they find these staff, I can trust any member here to do a good job wrapping without batting an eye. They're essentially burrito magicians.

None of this even comes close though to the biggest reason I keep coming back. It's the service. I felt immediately like a regular customer, and by my second visit, I felt like I had been coming here every day for years. The way the staff remember you, chat with you, they treat you like a part of a community. You KNOW this is not just another money grab or investment when you see the owner herself behind the counter, nearly every single day, making burritos shoulder-to-shoulder with her staff. But I know that the staff are genuine, because they are just as kind and friendly when she's not around. Staff seem genuinely happy to work here, and I have never once had even a neutral experience - every single visit I'm greeted by enthusiastic faces on the other side of the counter.

Attention Waterloo businesses: I sincerely hope you visit Mucho Burrito and take notes, because this place is absolutely a model for how every Waterloo restaurant should operate.

Went with a friend and we were overcharged by $25. We asked for a recipet and weren't given one cause the machine was so old. He did the calculation on a small calculator. Told us to come the next day for a refund. We came and manager said she's transfer it thru the university. But then why make us go all the way over there. She couldn't even do that properly and told us to come again at no specific time. We go after class and she's already off work. So she makes us come for a fourth time to get a gift card that could have been given way before. Didn't care for our time. Horrible customer service. Food was ok. Would not reccomend.

I have always experienced great service at this location. The food has great flavour, and is filling. There is an excellent variety of toppings, and you can even buy a beer with your meal - which I think is pretty cool.

I went here for a first time during exam season to have a good meal, but the employee had overcharged me twice the amount. I had asked for a receipt but the machine was so old it didn't print receipts and the employee had to do the calculation on a calculator. I originally ordered ~25$ worth of food, but was charged 52$. The employee couldn't give me a gift card or transfer the money back to my watcard, and asked me to come back the next day. I came back another day and the manager said she couldn't transfer the money to my student account directly, it had to go through the university, something they could've told me on advance so I didn't have to waste time going all the way there when I could've been studying for my exams. She had made me come back 2 more times, and both times she wasn't even there, and the employee said to come back AGAIN. The manager did not give specific times when she worked. Finally I was given a gift card as a refund a month later after 4 trips. The worst customer service, would not go again. The food was alright. The manager was completely unprofessional, the employee was nice but didn't have much authority and couldn't do anything.

That was my first time at Mucho Burrito and the way Ashwin explain about the different verities of dishes was commendable also the taste. "WOW". I tried student special and higly recommend this place to satisfy your hunger.

Probably the best burrito I've ever had. I've been incredibly loyal to Burrito Boyz over the years, but one day I decided to try Mucho Burrito across the street! I was VERY pleasantly surprised.

The only downfall is that their WatCard machine doesn't work. I had a bunch of leftover money on my WatCard which I couldn't use here. They're almost double the price of Burrito Boyz so it's hard to pay out of pocket very often.

However, if you've got the funds, you gotta try this place out! Highly recommend.
