MUJI Markville

Maybe a bit expensive at the first glance. But most items are beautiful, really good quality and some even unique, which makes the price worthy.
Worth checking it out if you're around and like Japanese style.

This store is located in Central shopping mall for Markham city. All Japanese product, I guess, its a career ambassador Japanese store.
There are some nice quality cotton fabric clothing, you will adore it. But the price is a bit in higher side. But hey, you have to pay for quality ptoduct, isn't it?
One casual cotton full sleeve shirt that you can buy from Canadian brand Joe Fresh by 29.99, same shirt I found out 49.99 at Muji and another Japanese brand store Uniqlo, (started with Unique and Low, Uniclo. I was with them from its birth in Japan at 2004.). So.its pricier.

I was on the hunt for glass carafes with lids and found them here! The carafes were beautiful, but when I arrived home (after storing them carefully in my trunk, in a basket wedged with towels), one of the carafes had a nick on the opening.

I was able to return the damaged carafe with minimum hassle, but decided not to keep the other two. They seem to be very fragile. It would be great if they wrapped items with several layers; instead of loosely wrapped once.

They have some unique houseware, stationery, and clothing items, but on the pricy side.

Cute, cozy and clean. It is a very nice place to shop for Japanese style minimalist housewares. High average to expensive for certain things. Their pens are unmatched.

Now this is a nice place to get little things here and there with no branding. They produce quality goods for just about anything which explains products' price tag. My favorite item here is the MUJI low centre of gravity mechanical pencil. Despite the price I have had mine for 4 years and it's the only mechanical pencil I can write with. But I digress, the clothing here is prestine from their robes down to their jeans. Highly reccmond shopping here.

Interesting store. Clothing and even some furniture available. Just could not see anything that I would have liked to acquire at the time.

Nice place to shop for Japanese style minimalist housewares. Kinda expensive for certain things that are not made in Japan, but reasonably priced for things that are high quality and made in Japan.

The problem with Muji is pricing. It's expensive for what you get which are a bunch of basic home and clothing stuff. Especially against other Japanese retail sprouting up everywhere in the GTA like Miniso, Oomomo, and Uniqlo. No major sales either.

The sales person Chris is so nice and helpful with great customer skills! Will come back again to see Chris

It's an interesting store. The idea is minimalist meets reasonable prices, and it seems to have met those criteria, for the most part. Seems a bit different to combine clothing, mattresses, school supplies, incense, kitchen supplies etc, all in one store, but hey, it was packed, so kudos to them!

Nice little location, didn't have to drive super far away.

For the minimalist mindset shoppers, this is probably heaven. It's got great products some of those odd items can be found here as well.

From clothing, adult and children, school supplies, some small amount of instant food products, to furniture and kitchenware.

Terrible Customer service. I asked for a gift seal, which is done with a sewing machine. The manager named Ishimoto tried to do it.but his hands were dirty and left oily dots on the wrap paper. Also he didnt know how to use the machine properly and it broke. They spent nearly 20 minutes to fix it and I had to redecorate the gift wrap (with stamps etc) for its already ruined with 5 sewing marks.

I tried to communicate with the manager but seems like he doesn't speak English. I wasted 45 minutes at the store.and I asked for compensation or at least proper apology. They were saying they don't have to and started at me as if I'm their enemy. I asked where to file a customer complaint and they said I can send messages through Instagram. Then I realized, reading some posts here that there is an email for such complaints.

I would never trust this company again. Bad experience.

Nice place with great vibe, really like the stationarys there. However thing are a little overpriced.

Staff are friendly and helpful here. Products are the usual excellent quality that I expect from Muji, and I especially love getting the undyed facial cotton and storage bins from them.

Excellent service provides by Jeffrey who assisted me in finding the last blue French Linen cardigan in my size so i could look sharp for my babe's graduation from 'The Factory' (University of Toronto). Love the customization of notebooks from Muji. What a kewl concept. I'm glad that I'm a member

Good line of fine cotton goods of high quality. 30% discount on certain merchandise. Rare opportunity! Show your taste!

Staff are always polite and check if help is needed. I don't end up buying much because the price is a bit steep. The one thing I did buy (clothes clip hanger) is pretty durable and is withstanding constant use

Nice location of the Japanese MUJI store. All the items seem pretty high quality, if a little overpriced for some. There were some items which we thought were a set on sale, but it was not clearly marked that it was a display item. But the cashier was pretty nice, offered to put us on the email list, and told us when the next sale would be.

This store has a great selection of minimalist clothing, home goods and other stuff.
Always love the music they play and the aroma of the diffusers.

Some of the items are overpriced but when on sale, they are good in particular if you like minimalistic styling.

Even though I came one week later to exchange my gift, they still accepted it. I ended up buying more than I intended to. MUJI's product is top quality, it is great to see that they go above and beyond to meet customer's expectation. Keep up the good work!

I had a very bad experience today at this store location. Seems like their customer service is not how they should be. They need to give more info where the items can be picked up. I called many times to pick up my items but I was cut off many times. No Matter how busy they are they shoud be picking up the phone since they're the one who suggested that they can bring my bigger items in the car. I was penalized for $200 for parking since they were not picking up the phone. I had to ask my daughter to run to the store just to tell them that we are in the gate already. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE!

Staffs are very helpful when you need them. All the products available are amazing to purchase but they're quite expensive. Some times the cosmetic areas might have limited stock on certain items.

This location is acceptable, I wish they would stop hovering around you as you shopped. It’s quite annoying and really cheapens the brand.

Another interesting store to rival home, fashion, food, lifestyle items.some overpriced, but still interesting. Dark palette overall was not my style.more for young & hip. Very cool and simple decor, not cluttered looking.
