We have been coming here preCOVID. The food is great. The level of busy is steady so if you have reservations it’s better especially for a big group. The spice level isn’t that high either but if your not used to eating spicy finds you might find it spicy (probably a given). Their Gulab Jamun is good too. Their Buffett is split into a meat section and veggie sections. Their salad was fresh and crispy.
The service is hit and miss.if you want Naan make sure you order this first. It takes a while and by that point if your doing the buffet option, ur food is already cold.
If you tend to drink a lot of water, ask for a pitcher. Even that will take a while as well. Ambience is ok. It’s a simplistic setting and likely same furniture for the last 7-8 years. Nothing is falling apart by any means and no bugs.

Catered food for birthday party. Everyone loved the taste and the service was prompt. Fair pricing for catering options.

My favorite place for Indian food in Ajax.been going there for almost 12 years.pleasant atmosphere and delicious food.staff is very friendly and accommodating.owner is very friendly and welcoming.lunch and dinner buffet daily along with regular menu.

Tandoori chicken and fish pakora was cold, butter chicken was decent and was hot, the server brought me nan and water to get started and never came back even to take away any empty plates or offer drink or refill water. Price was okay 21$ for a buffet these days isn't bad.

One of the very nice place in Ajax for having Indian food. Quite spacious and comfortable seating. Both ala cart and all you can eat buffet available in veg and non-veg categories. The buffet price is different for week days and weekends, also for lunch and dinner, but both veg and non-veg buffet cost is same. The spread is decent, with starters, side dishes, salads, main course, dessert etc.and the food is tasty.
Goat curry, butter chicken and tandoori chicken are part of the spread daily, other couple of options keep changing everyday.
They could add some more variety in the dessert selection.
The staff is courteous and service is good.
Value for money, will visit again.

Amazing food. I'm mixed and for Indian food it's awesome. All you can eat and awesome price as well. Service is awesome and just make sure you come with an empty belly

Amazing take out! Got the chicken vindaloo (more than once) and the beef curry. Authentic, rich flavours. Many other Indian restaurants have overly greasy dishes. These dishes were not and were very tasty. I wish they offered plain white rice but other than that, this place is great for Indian take out! Will be ordering again.

This place entry, floor, tables and windows are so filthy that I turn around and went different place.
If the owner did not care to clean the salon, high chances are the kitchen suffer similar fate.
The hostess let me see the buffet, same as every Indian lunch buffet.

Let me tell you the Mumbay grill is the best Indian cuisine I been to ever, the music the atmosphere was tranquility aloud me to eat three big plates. The services was spectacular had to tip 20 percent.the Nan bread was on perfect and my date was beautiful as well thank you God

This is one of the restaurant offers best value to your money. Lunch buffet is lot more valuable than what I paid. Taste and service is good. Completely satisfied.

Ajax has a variety of restaurants. I was searching for a good Indian place that served all my favourite dishes as a buffet but didnt find it, Until today!

This store is a hidden jem. Great food wonderful service open late aswell. I wish i came sooner. The buffet ends at 9 and i got there at 830 so i missed some of the amazing dishes. Just more reason to come back

The best place this side of India for an opulent authentic Indian feast. The homemade paneer is abundant, overflowing in their paneer dishes - matar paneer, paneer makhani etc, plenty of rice, dahl, channa masala, pakoras, samosas, poppers, unlimited naan, salad bar, sweet rice and warm gulab jamuns, topped off with a fresh fruit array, ice cream flavours, mango lassi, etc etc etc! Enjoy!

They put full piece of garlic in my karahi paneer, but still they have best garlic naan and karahi paneer in ajax

Tried their buffet back in 2017 and decided to give them another chance this week, but I was still very disappointed. The biriyani and butter chicken were both flavourless with large chunks of fatty chicken pieces in both. The gravy in the butter chicken itself was passable, and the garlic naan was decent; however, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

We ordered a wide range of dishes, including onion bhaji which had a long, thick black hair baked right into the middle of it. Absolutely disgusting - we threw out all of the food because if there is a hair in there it means the kitchen must be completely unsanitary.

Avoid unless you like hair in your food.

We went so many times alakarte was always good.

Today thought to try the buffet. But it was not at all good. Limited number of starters.

Mix veg was stale. No bhajiya in kadhi. Matter paneer and other veg dishes are not up to the mark.

Non-veg items were good.

Guys you were our always go to place in the time of pendamic. Don't know why the quality of food was not good today.

The most amazing Indian food you will ever have, trust me!
I ordered through UberEats yesterday (butter chicken, garlic naan and aloo gobi) and it was sooo good that I had to get it today too!
And feeling a little adventurous I wanted to try a mild lamb dish, phoned the restaurant and the manager, Durga, was so helpful in suggesting lamb korma which was most probably the most delicious lamb I’ve ever had. It was cooked to perfection, mild in spice and so flavourful.
The butter chicken was plentiful in meat and gravy that was just life changing in itself. The food also was not full of oil. They also provide a generous amount of rice to go with their dishes which is so appreciated.
Don’t hesitate! Order today! There is no other place Indian place in my opinion that comes close to this amazing food.
Can’t wait to try their restaurant in person and have them host some important events.

Today I visited with my family to taste the Indian cuisine. I am from Nepal and me and my family went to taste the Indian cuisine so we can get taste of south asian food. When I tried food, it remember my food from my back country. I loved the food. The most that I liked was hariliya tikka, chicken tikka and butter chicken with naan. Thank you for you great service.

Got one item out of 3 ordered. And they charged me full price. I paid $55 for an individual order of butter chicken. Ridiculous

Just had yummy lunch at Mumbay Grill.garlic Naan was fragrant and dal makhni had a very subtle ginger taste.mango Lassi was delicious.food is balanced in taste neither too spicy nor too bland.just the perfect balance.and ambience is also wonderful along with amazing service.hard times but soon restaurant will be back to full occupancy.

We ordered the, Chicken Biryani, Paneer Shashlik, onion Lacha paratha.

Extremely Horrible customer service. VERY dissatisfied and disappointed. I called 3 days in advance for my mother's bday dinner plans. The person on the phone said they don't take reservations just call 30 mins before I come in. On the day of my moms birthday i called 30 mins before going to the restaurant. The man on the phone said to come in they have space. When we got there he told us we can't eat there, the capacity over the limit. There was another group of people complaining about the very same thing. The manager said to both of our groups he has to tell people to come he can't tell people not to come. Which makes no sense because if we had known we couldn't eat there we could have made other arrangements. He told us to make the decision on our own if we wanted to wait or leave. We had a party of 7 which included seniors and children. Completely inconsiderate of peoples time. And the fact we had to go home without celebrating her bday and no dinner because everywhere else was all booked up. Very poor service. I would give a zero star if i could.

Great food, friendly staff and good service. Kheema Naan and reshmi kabab were a great hit! It was our first time but it certainly won't be our last.

Food is good. Could be little more clean and specially this time. Order took a little longer. I guess less staff. No problem. We all go through the same situation. Staff were friendly, but seems to be little rushing, maybe because of less staff. Tried the mixed grill and naan. Overall 4 star.

Amazing place, the food is amazing and the service was so good. They stayed up later for our big group and with no sort of pressure.
