Mum's Restaurant & Bakery Inc

Stopped in for pastries and decided to have lunch. Was very surprised how good it was! In particular, I think they have the best fries I have had in a very long time!

The most fantastic apple fritters ever! Be warned though, you need to call ahead in the morning (around 6am) to order them or they sell out quickly. I placed my order at 6 and picked them up at 9am and they told me they sold out by 7. Soooo good and totally worth it!

Got the famous apple fritters and grilled cheese sandwiches. The apple fritters are nice, but grilled cheese sandwiches were not good at all. They added processed cheese slice between two pieces of bread. At least add real a cheese like cheddar.

Amaizing breakfast! Very yummy meat. Great cofee and deserts! Very european! Great variety! And everything is so fresh. Great service! Will return.

Excellent little restaurant! The food is top much! The service, a little too friendly. We were trying to eat out dinner but the server wanted to visit! At least it was friendly visits! Miigwech! I recommend this place esp if you need to talk to someone, lol I'm joking! It's great!

After spending two months on Manitoulin Island during the winter season, my partner and I had the opportunity to try out many of the dining options available. Mum's Restaurant & Bakery is a cozy spot that leans heavily on the "homemade" style. The food is alright, perhaps lacking a bit in flavor, but still enjoyable.

They also have a bakery section that offers a decent selection of baked goods. While we didn't find them particularly outstanding, they were still worth a try.

The best small town eatery. Breakfast was served quick, hot and tasty.
The desserts we purchased were excellent!
The waitress was very friendly.

This restaurant is a must visit. Have to bring home apple fritters & treats to any family who didn't make the trip.

I met Mum. I had a good experience. Food was good. Liked the hamburger and Reuben. I will definitely eat there again. Thank you!

We have a tradition of morning pastries on Sundays, and our visit to Mum's was perfect. Our aim was one each, but we couldn't help ourselves and bought 6 items. The muffins were a bit dry, but the tarts, and bars were heavenly.
Very pleasant staff.
