Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I went in with lower back and Sciatic pain. Dr Malik explained everything clearly and with patience, ran through the physio exercises at the clinic, and finally equipped me with a program that I can follow on my own.

I had an initial consultation booked Jennifer Bolus through the Muscle & Joint Clinic. Ms. Bolus never showed up to the virtual meeting. This is very unprofessional behaviour and it speaks poorly of not just the consultant, but also the clinic as a whole. I was very much looking forward to developing a working relationship with a dietician and am sorely disappointed by such callous disregard.

Dr. Lauren is amazing! I am so glad I found this clinic! I was off work suffering from a debilitating migraine headache for 2 weeks. It was so bad I was basically bedridden, hiding in the dark as bright lights and loud noises were making it worse. I couldn’t take care of my family and relied on Uber Eats. Thank goodness at least my children know how to cook some dishes. My husband doesn’t know how to cook. Been on round the clock pain meds that barely worked. Went to see my doctor and even tried other therapies that only gave temporary relief and then the headache just came back as bad as it was. I finally found Muscle and Joint Clinic and had my first session with Dr. Lauren. She’s very professional & knowledgeable, pleasant, warm and a good listener, very good bedside manner. She did an assessment and was able to immediately pinpoint the sources of my pain. She thoroughly explained everything from the cause and the treatment plan and asked if I had any questions. Then she proceeded to do soft tissue therapy, a few adjustments and some stretches and viola, the headache was gone! Oh my goodness, I was ecstatic and just wanted to lay there and have her continue the soft tissue therapy all day! She taught me how to do the stretches, recommended massage therapy and will see her again in a week’s time. I am definitely going to recommend them to my family and friends! Thank you, Dr. Lauren!

The services I receive at the muscle and joint clinic are always oriented to my needs, registered massage therapists Nicole, Iwona are excellent massage therapists, very knowledgeable of their profession. Her patience and understanding of pain and how to address it with me is really appreciated. Chiropractors Dr Faisal Malik and Dr Rossana are very professional and caring about my overall health improvement, whenever I am in need of clinic service, the office receptionist helps me to arrange my appointments accordingly to my busy schedule.

I cannot state enough how instrumental Subash Gautam and Dr. Mark Hawass and the team at NeuPath Mississauga have been in my recovery. Dr Hawass diagnosed me with thoracic outlet syndrome. This diagnosis provided me with the necessary information to then research and find a physiotherapist with experience rehabilitating someone with this condition. Enter Subash.
I am a fit 37 year old. I had hurt my neck simply getting into my car, having tapped my head on the frame getting in. Bad went to worse. I had severe muscle pain, stiffness and rigidity that progressed to breathlessness, sleep apnea and associated night terrors, severe choking sensation, esophageal cramping, nausea, squeezing chest tightness and mouth sores. Over a 7 month period, during which time I went on sick leave unemployment benefits, I saw my GP 3 times, saw 3 different physiotherapists and 2 different chiropractors. I was finally hospitalized at my insistence for 10 days. I paid $1000 for my own urgent MRI. I saw 2 Emerg Dr's, a hospitalist, a neurologist, an anesthesiologist for pain management and nerve blocks, and my hospitalist consulted with a neurosurgeon out of province. All thought I had chronic neck pain and dismissed all of my other associated symptoms. I was told they were psychosomatic. And truth be told, yes I was displaying erratic behavior. No wonder why. I spiraled. I then required urgent psychiatry, and continue with a psychologist to this day, at my cost. I was finally referred out of province to Dr Hawass and his team. I saw him and he diagnosed me in 10 minutes flat. I have made a miraculous and full recovery.
After 2 months of religiously sticking with my physiotherapy regimen for two hours a day and daily physiotherapy follow up for physical manipulation, massage, dreadfully painful, but necessary graston procedures to break up scar tissue, over $30,000 in lost wages, thousands of dollars out of pocket in treatment costs, office ergonomic equipment costs, physio equipment, travel costs etc. I have returned to work full time, and am thoroughly enjoying life. I am doing the things I enjoy again like gardening, and I have Subash and Dr. Hawass to thank for my recovery.
Subash is so pleasant, confident and kind, and he knows his stuff, he takes great pride in his work and ability to help people who are suffering. He is highly skilled, knows exactly how to target the problem areas and has an arsenal of techniques to get the desired results.
Even though the road is still a little Rocky, 1 year later as I work through a flare, I have confidence in my team and the plan. This time is different, the symptoms are not quite as severe, yes, but more importantly I am no longer afraid afraid and hopeless.
