I try this restaurant after long time. First of all service was really bad the guy with glass giving me attitude when I came to place my order. 2nd the food was cold I drove all the way from Scarborough I thought the food fresh but this place overrated and service totally bad cold fries and the sandwich cold as well really bad experience at all, coming to this place with this snow weather and taste not fresh food.

Mushkakis is a local favourite for us. Always great food with very generous foods. You can never go wrong with chicken kata kata, ever. Lunch, dinner, snack. It always satisfies.

Shoutout for the chicken wraps (you get two large wraps for the price) or the mushkaki fries (if your sharing with someone get the chicken wrap and mushkaki fries, you’ll be full).

Trust me when I say, you won’t regret coming here. Even the pasta is fantastic.

I have been going here for years, this place has really good customer service and halal food. Where can I even get started with the food, the meat is always juicy and fresh. The soup that they give for free is super good and made in house. They have a really good dish called milk cake which they make and it tastes really good.

I would give a zero star if I could. They give you a fake salty chicken soup and charge u almost 8 dollar for the same salty vegetables soup which is 3 dollars. They just add couple small chicken pieces that was fried for different purpose or may be left over from mushkaki fries. WHAT A CHEATERS! حاراميين

I went with my family almost 2 weeks ago. It was my first time. But the food was absolutely delicious mash Allah. I ordered lamb chops with rice. I got five pieces of chops with rice in a takeout container (much more practical and better since I ended up getting full and having leftover for home). I would have preferred the lamp chops be a bit bigger since it was really smal and more ricel but it was delicious mashallah especially the rice. My go to restaurant used to be Xawaash, but this is my go to now. It's cheaper, delicious, and everything about it is good alhamduliallah.
If u go to the bathroom, just in case to not get confused, go all the way down the stairs.

This place is amazing to eat. Good food and portion as well. They have the best customer service as well.

My favourite lunch restaurant, but unfortunately it located far away from where I live.
We usually have our order takeout. We tried chicken and rice. Their hot sauce is unique and also the taste is very delicious. The price is reasonable. The quantity is perfect. I don’t have a picture, because the presentation doesn’t look like the taste. I don’t like mixing food together, so my order always without salad. Many thanks for the chef‍ ‍.

To start off their website needs to be updated.
The photos on the menu are fake.
They don’t really sell strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, oreo or even Carmel shakes yet on their website it says otherwise.
Their food use to be good not sure what happened. The only positive feedback I have is their good customer service!

This place is legit. Sat down to eat, got a huge portion. Was in the restaurant for like 45 mins and everyone who walked in was actually african. Thats how you know its real af. Also the hot sauce will send you into narnia. Theres no half steppin with that.

Food is NICE! Staff are friendly. Gave me a free soup while I waited for my order. Make sure to always buy a few extra milk cakes, like a lot extra.you won't regret it.

One of my favourite spots to go to! Food is always fresh and the quantity is just right for the price.

The food is tasty. Their Mushkaki chicken is a delight. But the beef is even better. My only complain, and that's just preference, is the peppercorn they use in the rice. I'd prefer if it wasn't there.

This is one of the best Arabian African food it's a mix with a twist can't go wrong for home made food

Mushkaki is part of Rexdale culture. If it ever shuts down I’ll light myself on fire. 10/10 highly recommended

This place has the best fries, burgers and milkshakes, especially the mango milkshake. The customer service is wonderful and I highly recommend becoming a regular here. Just watch out for their seasoned fries, they're really addictive. I love them!

The burger was burnt, thus being overcooked. The milkshake was watery, not thick at all. I also order the loaded fries, the cheese sauce was runny and the ground beef was also over cooked. It was all inedible. Would not recommend.

Great Mini Restaurant with variety of choices.the taste of their food makes Mushkaki different from other restaurants in that area.they have fast food menu for children and teenagers and also regular meaty plates for adults…price might be different compare to other Somali restaurants in Toronto but taste says all.

Great East African Coastal food that brings back memories. For my wife it is making new memories as I introduce her to the flavours I grew up with.
The Service is always friendly, compassionate and warm.
They even dealt with my onion allergy/sensitivity and have me a very delicious meal with no issues.

Their food is honestly so delicious. I always come by and get their lamb chops and chicken, and it's one of the best places I've eaten from. You should definitely check them out and support them during this pandemic.

Alfredo pasta with the beef strips are a must! The beef and chicken burgers I sampled today before closing were great as well.

Great place to get away from the same old routine of burgers and fries. Each menu item offers a different spin on what the traditional food lovers would expect. Try to be a little hungry when you order, large portions.

This is by far one of my favourite places to eat. Hidden gem in Etobicoke but they never disappoint. The customer service is a

Heard alot about this place but my experience wasn't up to my expectations. I ordered the Deluxe fries and the fries were cold! The Mushkaki Burger was clearly made from a frozen patty. The complimentary soup was never offered. I had to go back and ask for it. Anyways, over all my experience was 2 or less stars.

The people working there are very helpful if it's your first time there. The food is delicious! Strongly recommend the stripped beef and rose pasta. The mango shakes are definitely a must with any meal. Will definitely be back to try more.

They serve some really good pasta. I always enjoy their soup which is on the house. Their T-bone steak with pasta with roseo sauce is a-must try.

I love this spot! They provide delicious dishes, their menu is varied, The cook in that spot is very trained, I enjoy very much eating all their food. The dishes are consistently tasty, the service towards the clients is agreeable. I go often to this restaurant and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it to all.

They are expensive, they take long to give your food, and they have poor customer service. They were good when they opened but not anymore.

Terrible customer service! Avoid going on a Friday as they close for prayer and never post closures. When you drive an hr to go to eat at a restaurant, the least you can do is post your closures and acknowledge your customers. We’ve been loyal customers for the past 3 years. Let your customers know if your closures.

The food is amazing, service is great and portion size is so large. And the best part is, it hasn’t changed in years. Always the same amazing food and great service, every single time. Definitely one of my FAV restaurants in the GTA.

We were there this afternoon. The place was busy we ordered a steak and burger combos. It was great friendly staff family owned. I asked for a t-shirt and they have me one. Will be back when in the area.

Service was great! Food portion sizes were also good, mango juice and Mushkaki fries are two very popular items. Both were delicious. Priced ok

Loved the food and the friendly service behind the counter. Actually at one point the gentleman came in front of the counter to look at the menu with us so we can order the right amount of food. Certainly, will come back here!

At first when they opened they're sandwiches were amazing. I've stopped eating there since 5 months now.
After seeing their kitchen and how lil kids working.
So dirty! Frozen meat and smelly chicken.
Once u let your food to cool down than you'll know what I'm talking about. For me I'd give them a 0 star if that's possible

In seriousness the soup was soooo good! The beef burger lunch combo was good as well! I'm not sure why people are complaining about the price because even regular pricing it's price really well.

Place is slowly getting more and more pricy but the food is still the same goodness. Haven’t tried everything on their menu but among the things I have tried; I’ve left the place satisfied. The spicy chicken and sweet tomato chicken is pretty good along with their saucy Alfredo pasta. Their rice is good too. From what I’ve seen, their shawarma are massive and popular along with their burgers and fries being a hit with the younger crowd. Don’t get me started on the mushkaki fries. Lord have mercy. All priced under $20 closer to $10. They do have items under $10 as well, but it’s limited. All in all, much deserved 5 stars from me for a ma and pa shop.

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. I went into the store with my parents and we ordered our food. My father bought soup along with our meals for the three of us. The owner refused to give me a soup and only gave it to my parents because he claims that "the youth wastes our soup. They never drink it. " Even though I said I wanted the soup to him personally he still refused saying I was "underage. " Since when were sixteen year olds too young to drink soup? He then said to my father take the two soups or leave my store. Obviously, we took our refund and left the restaurant. It's the last time my family and I will ever go there again. That is the pinnacle of terrible service. What would you expect from the other workers if the owner is like this?

One of the best burgers I've ever had. Wait times can be long depending on the time of day, staff are ok and I don't recommend calling in since you can be on hold for 10minutes or longer.

Food is ok. The crowd SUCKS. An annoying group of loud school girls screwed up the experience for us. And the order took 25 mins to get ready.not coming back.

I had mixed experience with Mushkaki. Apart from the food, the crews are very friendly. My first experience was OK when I had their Mushkaki burger. Then drove all the way to them again to try out some other items on their menu. So, ordered Mushkaki fries (single sauce) and spicy chicken meal on my 2nd visit.

The fries were damp, soft and soggy full of a tangy sweet & sour sauce. No texture for a $10 fries. We were hungry, but it was really difficult to swallow that tangy sauce.
The Spicy Chicken was full of the same tangy sauce, and to me, it was rather a sweet and sour chicken.
On the good side, their complementary soup was way better than both the items we had.
You can try them if you're around, but no point of driving from other end of the city. But as I said, the folks are really nice and friendly.

I posted a review three years ago and reviewing again. I still give Mushkaki five stars!

Mango shakes are amazing! Our Mushtaki burger was delicious and very filling. Wasn't crazy about the fries though.place could use a bit of tlc and decor. Servers were very pleasant and enjoyed the free lentil soup.

Fast, efficient, friendly and delicious food. Great place.have gone 3 times and so far all 3 times the food and atmosphere rates one of the top restaurants I would recommend to friends and family in the GTA

One of the best restaurants in the city. The owner Osman is one of the finest gentleman to deal with. Awesome food with great sized portions!

It takes like 50 mins to get your food, all the workers are rude and have an attitude. I’m very disappointed and will not longer be going to this trash, roach infested place.
