Tried south indian dosa, could say one of the best.same authentic taste as you get in india and they have a decent dine-in.you can’t resist their customer service Recommended dishes: Mysore masala dosa
The sambhar and chutneys are not legit, they’re very artificial. Vadas are toooo hard, and sambhar quantity is very less as well. It’s not worth the price.
Adding updates for new food items added in the menu. We recently tried two things at this location - Pav Bhaji and Vada Pav. I must say, both the items were fabulous. I will definitely recommend trying these items in your next visit.
I ordered paneer bhurji dosa, and it was not worth the price. Tasted okay, nothing special. Paneer Bhurji was a bit watery, and dosa was very too thin like paper, which soaked water of paneer bhurji in the center part. Sambar was also just okay. Qauntity was not enough for an average single person. Overall, it tasted average but not worth the price of 16 dollars.
I love my roti place! The food is very flavorful and the employees are wonderful.the bone-in chicken biryani is my favorite dish, but i love their vegan options too.my boyfriend and i go here every time we are in toronto.its a tradition of ours now.
I really loved the food and service it’s really authentic and reminded me of india! I liked Ashwin’s service the food he served us and great customer service! 100% will recommend all my frnds
Masala dosa is delicious. Although samosa could have been better. The potato fillings were the same as dosa fillings and even the sauces. Did not taste like authentic samosas.
Biryani was rotten, chicken inside biryani was black. Smelled very very bad. I had uber delivery at my home. J ordered samosa chaat also and it tasted very bad. I always ordered dish from build my own roti and i liked it every time but this time, i ordered a different item and it was rotten.
Flavors and texture of the biryani was a highlight for always ordering goat dum biryani from here. However, goat pieces used to be hard and it kind of used to disappoint us every time. To make sure we have tender pieces of goat in the order I called the restaurant and also, left a note on uber eats. And, all I received is broken basmati rice, hardest pieces of goat, and in fact stale food. In a word worse biryani I have ever had. Never ordering biryani from here again.
This place serves up the most delicious crispy dosa! The chef (Rahill?) is incredibly friendly and passionate about his food! He always welcomes you with a smile and checks in on how the meal was. I always get the masala dosa and it’s amazing. My husband has tried a range of chicken curry options here and is always happy with his meal. I love the serving of lentil stew, coconut chutney and tomato chutney that come with the dosa too.
I would totally recommend this place. Just make sure you aren’t in a rush as the dishes take anywhere from 15-35 minutes to be served. Also dishes don’t come out at the same time, so there might be a 5-10 minute wait from when you got your dosa to when your partner gets theirs. Having patience is important as it can feel like a long wait but it’s worth it.
Never had Masala dosa packed and delivered so meticulously. Ordering Masala dosa through online food delivery apps is usually a nightmare because most places do not take adequate care while packing the item. The dosa and filling are usually packed separately and the dosa will be a triple folded, soggy, sad mess by the time it is delivered. But not here - delivered with care in a pizza box, everything intact and the food is delicious. The price is slightly higher than some other places but definitely worth it.
This is by far the best place for Rotis and Roti Combos. Ankit i super polite and super awesome in helping choose dishes and explaining different stuff. The serving is also fairly big and very filling.
Especially for ppl new to Canada/Toronto, rest assured, this is a must visit place for you.
I love this place. The dosa is fantastic and reasonably priced. Comes with two chutneys and lentil soup. Guys behind the counter always check up to make sure that the food is good.
Have also gotten the roti, but I think the dosa is the real standout. My usual pick is the paper masala dosa or the ghee masala dosa.
This place offers the most amazing Dosa’s in entire Toronto/ GTA. I had butter chicken Masala Dosa and believe me it is amazing. I have never eaten Butter chicken Dosa before and but this was just delicious. I would recommend everyone to eat at this at least once. Also, the host Ankit was really welcoming and even gave us complementary gulab jamuns with the food.
Finally, I would agree with the restaurant name. This is my Dosa place now!
We placed an online order but went to wrong location to pick it up. And when we realized about our location we came at this location (the correct one), we asked the order taker (who was very friendly) to use the dining and he allowed us and was also ready to serve the packed food, it was such a good customer service. Ohh! And the fryums reminded us of India️
Very sweet staff, fast service and AMAZING food! I have never had a dosa this delicious in my 47 years! My daughter ordered the butter chicken roti and devoured it in minutes! RUN.don’t walk to this place and order a masala dosa and butter chicken roti…you will NOT be disappointed!
Yeaahhhh this plcae is just a yum place for south indian as well as many more varieties of food? The manager was a good hearted and polite person! Their staffs are also friendly and kind! I would recommend you all to visit it once and you will then visit it always? I lovedd ittttttt️
First time at this place. We tried a Saag-Paneer roti, which was no more than okay (the sauce was too thin and the roti was okay; there are much better rotis in the city) and a couple of dosas- masala and one with goat curry. The dosa was certainly better than the roti. The goat was particularly tasty and certainly recommended. Overall, a decent place if you're in the hood.
I purchased 6 roti skins at 2.99 each and what I got was skins that appeared to be purchased and reheated not freshly made as I am used to being from a country that makes all Indian delicacies. When I got home and decided to portion it out I couldn’t. Why, do you ask they could not separate as they just crumbled as if they were frozen. This place destroyed my craving.
A great little restaurant, has really nice options in a convenient form (curries wrapped in rotis). Apart from all the roti dishes, all the South Indian dishes (dosas, idlis) are a must try. Has a very authentic taste in all the curries I have tried and reminded me of restaurants in India. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick bite.
One of my favorite places to get Indian food. Gandhi is exceptional with her customer services and the quality of food is consistent. Highly recommend!
Very crispy dosa and tasty roti. They're both very good and I would recommend to eat dosa in the patio or at the restaurant. Super friendly staff and amazing food with good chutney.
Probably the best dosa in the GTA. The paper masala dosa is a real paper masala dosa and is actually paper thin and crispy and that’s not easy to find. The sambar is also exceptional and full of flavour and umami. I would like to see a Rava dosa option as well as a green chutney, but as it stands this place is great.
Having tasted the Masala dosa a month ago, This has become my to go place for South Indian Dosa and other South Indian breakfast foods in this part of Downtown. The pricing is reasonable for the quantity you get. Today, I ordered Masala Dosa and Medhu Vada Sambar. It is full paisa vasool for the food quality, quantity and taste you get. Now, I am excited to try all the other items on the menu. I undoubtedly recommend their food, Trust me you will not be disappointed.
Nice rotis with a variety of fillings. This location also offers Masala Dosa, a South Indian specialty. The dosa is cooked on the spot perfectly, thin and crisp then filled with spicy potatoes. It is accompanied with nice coconut and tomato chutneys as well as the traditional sambar which is a tad too sweet and thin. The Masala Dosa is a perfect vegetarian/vegan meal.
Sahil had amazing customer service. I had a bad experience at another location before that’s why I asked for less salt but he reassured it will be the best! Indeed he was right. When I ate it it was soo delicious and flavourful. I called Sahil to thank him, I’ve never done that before! Keep up the excellent work, thank you Sahil!
I ordered a masala dosa, paneer dosa and a set of vada from this location. The money is worth of quality and quantity. I don’t know their names but I haven’t experienced such a customer service in a while and they are really deserved to be appreciated. Definitely worth of trying it and I would definitely come back to the same location just to have the food these guys (Akka and Bro) serve.
Great dosa if you're looking to satisfy your South Asian craving and no other option is nearby. We had their spicy misore dosas and would recommend! (They're definitely spicy tho!)
Superb food quality. Everything was rich with flavour while still maintaining balance. Special mention to the butter chicken roti. Will definitely be ordering from here again!
Delicious food and very fresh, I could taste the fresh tender chicken. The and the best part of the experience was exceptional service by Sahil. That guy was managing everything with a line up and still managing to give a great welcome to everyone. Good job
Very friendly staff - gave us the right recommendations. The Veg options are great. We had Paneer Korma and Paneer Tikka and they were both really tasty!
We ordered chicken curry and cauliflower. Food was excellent & chef was very responsive in resolving our queries. I have peanuts food allergies and the chef was able to guide us to perfect combination to order. It was such a pleasant experience and will visit again soon.
I absolutely LOVED their food! I used to order all the time from their King location and the food would arrive quickly, hot, well-packed and delicious. I had to stop ordering because Uber Eats and DoorDash won’t allow me to put in special requests anymore (eg.no cheese or extra sauce) and I’m not going to bother calling so I gave up. Really annoying and disappointing actually.have to ignore my cravings. Also the food from the Queen location isn’t as good in terms of quality and quantity.
The butter chicken Roti is amazing. I've never seen this before. It's wrapped like a west Indian style chicken/meat roti but a bit more loose. It was very flavorful, the roti was soft and butter chicken, delicious. I want to try the honey garlic Cauliflower next. Service was super nice
Ghee butter dosa with tikka masala filling was great. The sauces had slightly different flavors than what I’m used to in South-East Asia but they were all very tasty. One meal is enough for two regular portions. Mango lassi was delicious as well. Highly recommended. Takeout experience was great and food appearance was a lot better than I expected for a takeout dosa!
