We tried the Mysore Masala and Chicken Tikka Dosa. They were really tasty. They have HUGE variety of dosas. This is going to be my go to place for dosas in downtown. Absolutely loved it! The staff was also just a bonus.
Today we had a chance to visit this place. We ordered kadahi paneer wrap and daal roti, kadahi paneer wrap was too tasty. Staff over here is so nice. Highly recommend this place to have authentic Indian taste.
Well employees are very professional and have always put out hot delicious food. Love their energy they always remember my name and my favourites. It makes my mood better. They recently started making dosa which I love too. It’s a must visit.
Met up with a friend on Queen West. The place I was looking for was too far away and we happened by MY ROTI PLACE just west of Spadina. I went in and asked the gentleman behind the counter if he had Butter Chicken Roti and he answered in the affirmative. I am glad I popped I. Arguably one of THE BEST BUTTER CHICKEN ROTI's I have EVER had. Do yourself a favour and have one - or two!
My boyfriend got me butter chicken with rice for dinner and Gulab jamun for dessert, everything was really good. Portions were perfect and the Gulab jamun was sweet enough to enjoy after the meal.
One of the best roti places I have tried. Excellent service that includes accuracy and speed. Quality and tasty food. Reasonable price and accessible location.
This was my 1st visit I Had the curry chicken roti. Everything about it was delicious I was expecting rice to be in the roti and there was none, still the roti was filling and delicious. I'm used to Jamaican roti witch have the rice and pea. As for there service I was literally greeted with a smile. I like spicy and glad they recommended the "serious" spice leval 2 me. Only issue i had was the washroom being out of service had to use hand sanitizer to wash hands prior to eating. Looking fwd to going back with the wife and kids as they love butter chicken If its half as good as the curry chicken I think I found our new take out joint
This is my absolute favourite restaurant in toronto. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! I would recommend trying mom’s curry or creamy nutty korma, it’s delicious! Staff is really great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Got the saag paneer roti here and it was very sub par. I eat roti regularly so I know the flavours well. The taste and quality here were below average. Service was poor as well and staff not friendly.
I fell on my bike and my had got scratched bad and was bleeding a lot. I went inside just to get tissues to stop the bleeding but instead they helped me clean it and have me a bandaid and bandage to stop the bleeding. They offered me water as well. Super nice people and thankful for their service!
It is always a great experience visiting here. I personally like their chicken curry, its tasty with correct amount of spices. The tandoori roti is also good and soft. I also tried their samosa chat, honey garlic cauliflower and chicken supreme all are delicious. I like how they go beyond to make their customers happy and add sweets and fryums for every order. Good quantity, affordable prices.
Made an order today and got some extra treats. Totally unexpected yet completely appreciated. Love this. And the roti is top notch as always from them. 10/10 would recommend (I ordered from Uber eats)
I ordered honey garlic cauliflower for the first time from this place. The taste and price was just Amazing. Quantity and quality was apt. And despite of so many orders they prepared my order in just 10mins.
If you’re looking for a place where to relax and read some novels or whatever, This MY ROTI PLACE would be the best. They have the best CHAI available. The ambiance of this Restaurant was so relaxing, and the staffs are highly capable. I could not ask for more because everything that I needed was provided. Well done, guys! Keep serving other flavours of CHAI.
The Mango Pistachio Cake is to die for! The flavour goes well with each other. I highly recommend trying this dessert next time you visit the restaurant.
Noodles were on point and the quantity is sufficient to satisfy one person. Chicken Tikka, Cauliflower honey glazed were not good at all, samosa chaat was decent.
I have never had Indian roti so bear with me. But this was SO GOOD. I enjoyed my meal very much. I ordered the curry chicken in a medium spice and it was just spicy enough but not unbearable. It came with crunchy bits and a sweet little treat for the end. The roti itself was chewy and delicious. I will definitely be coming back again to try something else. The staff are also really nice and helpful!
Butter chicken is gooooood. Hakka is also bueno. The korma has been a bit inconsistent though. But, overall, it obviously satisfies my cravings as I order from here every week or two. The late night hours are also great.
First and foremost, HUGE shoutout to these guys for staying open until 3am on New Year’s Eve (during a global pandemic)!
It’s one thing to find a place with GREAT tasty food but these guys are also CONSISTENT. The “cherry on top” is that they are ALWAYS so pleasant and warm.
On NYE, I’d noticed a small price discrepancy between their doordash menu prices and the price I was quoted by them directly (decided to go pick up from them physically to ensure they capture 100% revenue from my order - I heard the likes of doordash takes a sig cut off every order). They immediately took ownership and explained that said menu was dated. Given said explanation, I was happy to pay based on updated price but they insisted on honoring the price I initially saw and even gave me a 10% discount! I’m not always compelled to leave a review but it’s tiny things like this that really resonate with me. The pandemic has been harsh on us all and it’s very easy to forget to be warm and human but these guys remain top notch!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back!:)
Been going here for 3 years now. The rotis here are hands down one of the best take-out foods I've ever had. We have tried several indian roti places in the GTA, but this place puts them all to shame. Great staff, awesome food. Highly recommend.
Best Indian tasty food place in Toronto Downtown. Very tasty have good updates on the app. I use Ritual a lot of time. Parking is around. You can get order in box all together or You can ask them Roti on the side. Free Small treats salty and sweet with each order
This place is a gem in downtown Toronto. I always get butter chicken and my friend tried honey garlic chicken. We both enjoyed our orders. Thanks guys.
The roti here was amazing! The portions are big and full of flavour. We had butter chicken and saag paneer roti. Options for vegan are also available. I would recommend this place!
I've been going here since it opened, getting the superior butter masala with fish and extra veggies. I always ask for a little extra sauce and they are VERY generous with the sauce and the fish. I recommend this place to everyone I care about for some of the best takeout Indian in the city.
Usually the food is good and that’s the reason I buy here often. But today the butter chicken roti was dry and not much curry in it. And quite bland too. Probably it’s time to stop getting food here.
This place closes at 2: 45am not 3am they don’t take any order quarter to 3am. These guys should change there time. So make sure you don’t arrive before 3am your just wasting your time. Just stay home
I walked in and ordered 2 dishes and my order took very long more than 20 minutes. They served 2 people behind first. They also got 1 of my orders completely wrong. I ordered rice dishes and they gave me roti. The naan I ordered on the side was also stale. I’m very disappointed
Had a very good time with my friends at MY ROTI PLACE. The food was delicious at a very affordable price. Would definitely recommend to all of my friends.
Best place i have ever visited.it’s economical as well as tastiest place to eat Indian cuisine. It reminds me the Indian food i used to eat in my country because i rarely found the taste like india in this city ️️
The food taste was pretty ok, if you looking for a real taste deal I would say try another location. Other thing I felt was not so professional behaviour of staff, I felt rudeness in their voice, I know things can be hard still being rude is not appreciated. Moreover they had a argument in kitchen and I can hear them arguing from dining area.
Food and service was amazing! Staff was very hard kind and accomidating to our needs. Portion sizes were also surprisingly very big. Overall a very good expirence!
I ordered a no spicy chicken biryani and got a very spicy one. I called and the lady at the cashier (I supposed) is absolutely not professional. Also, this place is not really clean so I’ll never be back again!
Did the recipe change? This is definitely not the best roti in Toronto. I’ll stay in the east end if I want proper Indian food, treatment and hospitality. Break the chain.
It’s not a big restaurant but is a small cozy casual place with few seating areas.the taste is great and it’s the best value for money.menu options are diverse and there’s a lot to choose from.loved it.would recommend
