Was surprised to get this lovely service in this place - to start the place is next to a Costco, and some renovations going on the exterior. But inside is quite neat and clean. The greeting and welcome could be improved. But later it was very nice atmosphere and food was fresh and nice.
I will like to say few words with my personal experience about this amazing place so called “ My Roti” firstly “PRANAV” the owner himself takes care of the customer, adding his personal touch with patience and calmness, food quality just like having food at home, surplus quantity is offered on the table the server “SHEETAL” very sweet and caring girl with her lovely million dollar smiles she serves from her heart.
I would highly recommend this place for the people, who luvs home made food with the personal touch of luv care and attention.this place is value for your money.
My RotiPlace/My Dosa Place keep up the good work and keep feeding people who are away from their country. Three cheers
Awesome place for Indian food. My friends and I like to visit here. Egg fried rice is really good in taste. Make sure to choose your spice level wisely
This is how much tea you get for $3 every single time i go they reduce it and let me tell you its the same cup.its someones hard earned money and at least give a decent amount. Its really disappointing that how people do that in this inflation.
Got the dosa and a roti and amazing ikra was amazing she directed me to the perfect meal. And the mango butter milk is like heaven! I will be returning for sure Ikra thank you so much for introducing me to the food ️
Chicken curry was absolutely fantastic. Associate at front counter was super nice and even let me try the tea. One of the best dinner’s I have had. I will definitely be back.
The food we got was delicious! My husband got the chicken Tikka masala dosa and I got the keema dosa, we wanted to try these unique stuffing for dosa and we were not dissapointed! The owner was also very nice and accommodating and helped us order. I highly recommend this place if you want to try some out of the ordinary, unique dosa toppings!
The place is nice, open and has plenty of seats. We ordered two dishes, lamb and spinach. The lamb was decent but the spinach was awful. Pretty sure the roti was not cooked fully. I did not eat much since I knew I would get sick.
Kindest, most friendly staff ever! We’re patient in explaining all the different options. The food (2 dishes) was excellent and I loved my roti! Thank you
The food was great! We had the butter dosa and masala dosas which came with two chutneys and sambar. The sambar is really good. Got the honey garlic cauliflower app and it was soo good! Will definitely come back again!
We’ve been visiting here couple times, I love their street style Samosa, ! Butter chicken is always a good choice Staffs very friendly, clean and good environment Highly recommended
Amazing dosa place in Durham Region. Visited last week and the food was great and the customer service was top notch. The girl at the cash probably someone called Iqrah, was sweet and energetic. Also for someone who’s Indian and misses that authentic coconut chutney flavour, this place hits different and reminds u of home. Overall amazing food and service. Hope to visit soon!
Not a bad place for a quick meal. I once tried their sambar rice and was homely and tasty. Some setbacks are: 1. Cost of the buttermilk is $6 which is on the higher end 2. Onions paste in the chicken masala was never cooked fully and the masala tasted bitter 3. Sambar is too sweet
The roti was so nasty and soggy. Shouldn’t be closing the container like that to build so much condensation inside. It was basically inedible. I removed the wrap and ate the chicken with a naan bread at home. The protein size was also unbelievably small for the price they are charging. I would never go back and am beyond disappointed.
Hello, I've been here about 4 times in the last 3 weeks. I've tried different items on the menu almost every time (other than the Lamb Vindaloo because I just needed in my life again) and each and every time it has been AMAZING. The quality, and consistency is remarkable. It's an extremely friendly, clean and welcoming environment. If you dine in, you'll see families coming in and out for catering and such. To not make this too long (ive been a Chef for 5 years, so i want to just nerdout on the spice usage and cookery techniques) — this place will give you a taste of the complex flavours and beautiful culture of India. A must have.
Will not go to this place again. The server/ cook was having his lunch. He was also taking orders at the cash, touching equipment without washing his hands. I pointed him but he kept on doing this. The other servers were touching the same equipments. Food health inspector should take notice of this.
Customer service was good but the food was unbelievably bad. There was hair in my dosa and the vada was not edible. The sambar was watery and had no veggies except burnt potatoes. I spent almost $100 and had to throw out the food. Very disappointed.
Omg! Delicious food, a lot of vegetarian options. YES, paneer poutine for vegetarian people is must try.first ever place where the mango lassi actually tasted like a mango drink and not just a yellow drink with sugar. Their gulab jamuns were to die for coz I just love them. Loved the buttermilk, very interesting flavours. Overall, an amazing experience.
We were visiting Toronto from Chicago and came across this awesome dosa place. Absolutely amazing paneer bhurji dosa. Super fresh and tastes amazing. This will be our go to place next time we visit Toronto!
Ordered Butter roti. Instead They gave thin tortilla wrap served with butter! Poor service and waste of money! Never visit these guys! Instead spend money on coffee, that will worth more than going to this restaurant!
Definitely exceeded my expectations. I tried a curry chicken on a classic roti. The taste was like a homecooked dinner. Very generous portions too. On top of that the owner was very friendly and warm, will be going back to try more!
Fantastic. I ordered the plain dosa and the Butter Dosa. The plain dosa comes with potatoes on the side. There was a wide variety of other chutneys too. The dosa was crispy, the ingredients of paneer dosa fresh. Will be ordering again for sure.
Quite a disappointment. Sambhar was plain watery, no sign of any vegetables. Masala Dosa was watery (which made the entire dosa soggy) and tasteless. I narrowed down this place after reading all the positive reviews. So, not sure if they are fake or quality has deteoiterated over time.
Delicious Indian dosa/roti restaurant! They also have lots of little tasty treats. I promise to go back and take more photos because it was so delicious and I started eating and couldn't stop! Highly recommended!
I ordered Roti wrap. Little sauce not even enough for roti. Quality of sauce and all food items including roti and dosa has changed awfully. Initially when they opened up I recommended many of my friends this place but now quality and quantity of food items has declined drastically. Waste of money may be try another location in Toronto!
We tried breakfast, the aloo parathas were yummy (uncanny resemblance to "Deep" frozen aloo parathas). Bhurji was nice. Masala dosa was below average, the sambar was below average. Medu vada overcooked!
The masala chai and madras coffee were good.
Would have been nice if we were offered tap water (like most other places).
Toilets were very clean and lots of seating available. Servers were nice and courteous.
I really loved this place at first because I can't deny that the food is delicious. But the owners have gotten lazy and it shows in the food. The rotis are over $10 and some are even $16-17. They should include enough meat to fill the roti and warrant the price, but now they're half full, and so empty that the roti is just bunched up at the end. The gulab jamuns are cold often, which tells me that they're likely frozen. I don't think I'll be coming back in the future because I just bought a big order for dinner with my family, and we were unsatisfied. We ended up eating something else to supplement our dinner which we shouldn't have to do fo $70+. For other customers: you'll love the taste but you'll be disappointed by the portion and meat sizes, where they like to cut corners.
