Can't say I'm overly impressed with this place, went to drop off at our unit only to find that the gate was open for anyone to enter, nobody monitoring the property if in fact there was a problem with the gate, our unit felt damp probably due to the fact the ceiling looks like it's been leaking, can't wait to deal with the management about this

Be careful they charge on a 28 day cycle so it works out you pay for 13 months a year
They jack the price up 10$ if your late a day with your payment and another 10 at 3 days late
they are crooks go elseware

Well, first off I have been renting units with you for 3 years now, give or take a few months. The first issue I had was the theft issue. I received a call telling me I was supposed to let you know when I moved out. I hadn't. I'm then told I was robbed. I was not. Then I a MASSIVE rodent problem that was NEVER addressed. I'm told that maintenance handled it but half of my clothing was destroyed and mice pooped on everything I own. Which is disgusting. I realize they don't take responsibility for rodents but that's insane. Maybe take some measures like sealing the units so they can't get in.
Next I rented and paid for a new unit for moving asking for it to be close to my current one as I was transferring items because of the mice and when I open it the door breaks and gets stuck it was also on the other side of the lot. It was a new yellow unit. So a woman had to drive me down another key to a farther unit.
I had to rent a third unit when I moved out of my house due to lack of space. When I opened that unit, MyStorage signs were in the unit. I was told to check another unit. Inside that unit was someone's belongings and they were apparently squatting there. I had to check a third unit which was finally empty and yet again someone had to drive me down another key.
It's been nothing but issues. I receive texts telling me I'm late on rent 2 days after I pay. When I call I'm told that the texts weren't sent. Well I have them so yes they were. I constantly and being told I'm going to auction but when I call to find out when I'm told I'm not in auction status. It's one problem after another with My Storage. All I was offered was a 5 hour truck rental. When I tried to redeem that I was told I needed insurance. My slips were sti in the mail because I had gotten a new policy. So I offered a picture of the insurance and my license with it. They flat out refused to accept it. She asked me for the paper copy. When you get a new policy your slips don't come to you immediately. They email you a copy until they come in the mail. So yet another issue with you guys. The woman was extremely rude and belligerent towards me. I'm not sure if she knows how insurance works but I should have been told this information on the phone when I called.

If I had time to move to another company that had something available I would in a heartbeat. I can't stand the treatment I get. It's astonishing to me.

That's why I gave a bad review. Problems always problems

My experience at my storage was fantastic. Great price and the staff was really friendly. They gave me awesome customer service, and answered all my questions. One of the ladies I was so outgoing and made it a smooth ride renting from you guys. Thanks again Amanda.cheers.

Nice facility, went in and received a lot of info from Amanda. I found her to be very pleasant and helpful in answering my questions. I will be using My Storage for my storage needs in the near future.

It is NOT climate controlled! The website and contracts are a lie. The units are heating only, not cooling or dehumidification for the summer months. They state you can store temperature sensitive items including musical instruments. Last I checked, humidity and high temps are not very good for wood, musical instruments and many other things.

Worst experience I have every had in my life. I would not recommend anyone to use this place unless you want to be annoyed the entire time you deal with them. I would rather throw my stuff in the garbage then to ever deal with this company ever again.

Easy payments by calling in.
Clean, dry units with easy access and 24hrs.
Been using a unit for 2 years now.

Fair prices. Unfortunately grounds are never maintained. Ice sheets everywhere. Likely to slip and fall almost did 4 times trying to get into my unit

The absolute worst customer service experience. The staff seem to be focussed exclusively on squeezing fees out of each customer. I have been a customer at the Belleville location for over 3 years. Run the staging portion of my business from one of their largest units.

Upon upgrading to this larger unit with two access door I was provided two fobs (one for each door) but there were no emergency keys to gain access if the fobs do not work (batteries etc)

Low and behold one of the fobs stopped working. I turned in the non functional fob and later that afternoon, while finishing up a move the door was closed. Leaving car keys, and the functional fob inside.

Instead of understanding the situation and recognizing that if the emergency keys had been provided, or the fob was repaired quickly this situation wouldn’t be an issue. The only solution the staff person had for me (while holding my non functional fob) was a $400 fee to have a maintenance person break the door.

It has been two days and no retuned calls from upper management. In orde for my business to run I had to break down and was forced to pay this additional fee.

Be wary of this location. The staff are quite pleasant. Until they are able to stick you with absurd charges.

Merry Christmas. Yeah right.

My experience with My Storage was very positive - easy and efficient. Stephanie provide excellent customer service from beginning to end. Found the storage unit to be exactly as advertised - clean, accessible and secure. Would highly recommend My Storage to friends and family.
