Great country food in a casual and cozy environment. The food is delicious and service is so attentive and quick. They really pay attention to the details and creating an experience. The salmon was a touch on the sweet side for my taste but otherwise great food!

Your offer to hold our lunch in your private space decorated for the holidays was perfect and everyone of us loved the privacy to laugh, joke and have a good time. We’re just a group of “camping friends” from a RV park in Melancthon who all have our trailers close together like a happy neighbourhood. Mylar & Loreta's Restaurant is a constant favourite for all of us.

Amber was a dream looking after us. And of course the food was delicious.

3 of us ordered the specials, pork & turkey. All three dinners were warm to cold. The turnip medley was ice cold, like it just came out of a refrigerator. It's our fault that we didn't say anything to the lady who enquired about our dinners but we did tell the waiter when he was clearing the table. He apologized. 2 out of the 3 dinners were only half eaten.
There did not seem to be enough staff as our waiter seemed to have too many tables to attend to. Our dinners may have sat for a while, waiting to be served, while the other tables were looked after. I find this Server very brusque.
Very noisy. Had trouble conversing.

I am not sure if it is under new management? Was looking forward to the old fashioned turkey dinner they served before Covid. Ordered take out. Received a much smaller turkey dinner for three times the price and while it tasted ok was not what I expected.
I have always loved the decor but could use a good cleaning.

Very impressed with our experience at Mylar and Loreta's. We stopped on our way up to Collingwood, which happened to be on Mother's Day. The place was very busy, and we did not have reservations. The manager was very friendly, and found a place to squeeze us in. The menu was very small, but well rounded. I had the prime rib eggs Benedict and it did not disappoint. I'm not a fan of horseradish, but it was very mild and pleasant. The beef was cooked to a medium well, and was very tasty and tender. The home fries are very crispy on the outside, and pillowy soft on the inside. My husband had the turkey club sandwich. He would have preferred a bit more bacon. It was a bit scarce. The fries were average, run of the mill fries, nothing to complain about. The service was impressive, considering how busy they were. I would recommend dining here, and will return next time I'm in the area.

Great family restaurant. Tasty and well presented. Very large portions. This has been a regular stop for us for man, years.

Ordered a hummus platter and the hummus was very garlicky!
The fish of fish and chips was dry from inside.the coleslaw had way too much mayo in it!
Ambiance was good so 3 stars!

It seems like they don't really care about their patrons as the allow servers to not wear masks when serving customers during this pandemic. The unmasked waiter came to our table, and when I asked him if he could wear a mask, he gave me a snotty look, said, "he didn't have a mask". At this point I asked for a masked server, as he went on to serve less cautious patrons. Normally, the place deserves 5 stars but not until they start following Public Safety guidelines.

I’m happy to change this review to a five star as they finally implemented good COVID precautions.

Great spot. Right off the snowmobile trails which makes it extremely convenient. The staff was quick, kind, and attentive. The premise was clean and roomy, with a good atmosphere. Excellent food and decent menu. Had the prime rib sandwich which was fantastic.

Chicken wrap had bland and dry chicken. Poutine tasted meh. Pluses for us were the convenient location, relatively quick service and large portion sizes.

This time however the food was not good. We took a true doggie bag home cause we thought maybe our dog would eat it.
The server was great. He was very attentive and pleasant.

Our company Christmas party was held here and it was very pleasant. The wait staff was pleasant and the food was great. Everyone was well looked after. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love this place. My folks more than I do. They come from Sudbury for M&L'S food. If you haven't had the prime rib dinner yet, you must try it, I've been a good 6 times now and that's all I've ever ordered.

Side tip: Try the ceaser salad dressing. Out of this world. Just won't be kissing anyone after. Garlic lovers dream dressing

It feels like a place that wants to feed you

Excellent service. Large outdoor patio. Dog friendly.even brought out a bowl of water for my dog. Broad menu selection. If you're vegetarian the selection should be OK. I give the food a 4 out of 5 stars but the staff and the location make up for it. It was very busy when I went there but not crowded outside at all. Despite being busy at the time, the service was not delayed. The drink selection was also pretty good. If you live in the area or just passing by, stop in, get a drink and some food. You'll enjoy it.

I have only been here once- Aug 2021- but had a great experience on the patio. Service was quick and friendly. Lots of space.loved the vegetarian option of a falafel wrap- it was huge and tasty. I would go back to try more items

Absolutely amazing business! Our food, server and atmosphere were all top notch. The prime rib was very tender and definitely worth a try. We would definitely return in a heartbeat to try another thing on the menu.

The food was good (we just had a burger and fries). Our server was attentive even though it was very busy when we first arrived. Social distancing was well observed in the restaurant. There is a large patio out back bit it was too cool and windy to use that.

This was amazing! Great food, Friendly, helpful service. Beautiful back patio, surrounded by lovely landscaping, which includes a gorgeous pergola made from old barn beams. Have gone a few times, and will definitely be back!

Spent The afternoon on the patio for Fathers Day lunch. Dad had the banquet burg and I had wings. Great green space, solid service and hot/tasty food at a reasonable price! Will be back to try dinner

Warm and friendly service, seated In a timely manner considering covid situation however there were people seated too close to us. (There was a shield in between us though)

We had the house specialty. Roast 3 corse dinner. Fabulous. Can't wait for covid to be over and sit down to their prime rib.

We enjoyed our visit and will return. I left me phone behind and they were very kind in getting it back to me. Very much appreciated.

Food and service are always good here. Over and over and over again. We have been stopping here summer and winter every time we get a chance.

We stopped in the parking lot while snowmobiling and we were just going to take a break and maybe buy some waters from the gas station, and a server came out with menus, and told us we could eat and drink outside.we did, and spent 160 dollars! Fantastic service and food! Loved it!

Great food specially their fish and chips (super crispy, no greasy). Their onion rings are super delicious too. We have been 3 times in the last year and want to come back soon. They are following safety protocols regarding the pandemic.

Visted Mylar and Loreta's Restaurant while on our way to the Nottawasaga trail for a day hike. Ordered a burger and fries which was delicious. Toppings were fresh and crisp, burger was juicy and cooked perfectly to my liking.

Have eaten here a couple of times and always had amazing food but yesterday I met with someone for a business lunch and I haven’t seen him in months in person. We had a fantastic lunch and reviewed business plans that took 3 hours! The staff were so accommodating and friendly. They kept refilling our drinks and reassured us there was no rush to leave. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere! Will definitely be back!
