Myungdong Noodle Shabu-Shabu

Great family restaurant. I've recently been to korea and tried the michelin guide Myeongdong dumplings. I would say this is extremely comparable and the restaurant gives very authentic vibes.
Highly recommend the Kalguksu and the MD dumplings.

There was only one server and they were not friendly. I ordered jajang with rice and it said there was pork in it but there wasn’t. Jajang was not well flavoured and it was definitely not worth the $16.99
i’ve had better flavoured jajang from the Paldo Jajangmen packs that are $5 for 5 servings

The dumplings are absolutely insanely yummy. Must have. Kalguksu noodles were rich and broth was very warming.

A bit disappointed with the Mississauga location (I usually go to the one in Thornhill). The prices were a bit more compared to the other location. It was busy but we were seated right away. We got the kalguksu and the kongguksu.

The food came at a decent time considering they were packed and it was almost closing time too. The food was just okay and I think was smaller too.

Not sure if it's because we came a bit late but we'll maybe try it again at an earlier time.

Food was excellent, but can’t see myself visiting again due to poor service. The staff had this cold and lifeless expression while serving us food - we thought maybe she had a bad day, but the rest of the staff were unfriendly as well with exception to one individual who appeared to be the owner. What made us confused was the “selective” attention and care they placed onto customers sitting beside us who was visibly caucasian. Just for reference, we are a young east asian couple (one of us is korean) and witnessing the contrasting service that we received from them, it was obvious that we were clearly unequally treated based on our traits. If you fit our description, best avoid this place.

Dumplings Unmatched king dumplings or higher prices Server unfriendly I asked to take an order, but I could feel him swearing with his eyes while telling me to wait.

The food is so tasty and bubble tea is very pleasurable. Now they are offering clearance discounts on some products like sticky rice, sauces and on preservative pickles

Their home made noodles really make this place one of the best noodle restaurants in Mississauga

The place is really good! It’s obvious that the ingredients they use are fresh. The dipping sauce that they use for the steamed pork are really mouthwatering

Been wanting to come here forever after finding this place on tiktok, all the food was amazing and the staff were so kind and attentive! The kalguksu had a delicious broth and the noodles were perfect, the dumplings were amazing and one of my favourite dishes! I would love to come again and try the hotpot next time!

Great service, good menu variety and soup choices are really the thing to get during cold weather season

So very good! Prices were a bit high, but portions were huge. Staff was super friendly, helpful and attentive. This place is quite popular and tables fill up fast, so either go early, or prepare to wait a bit at peak times.

Came here at a recommendation of a friend. It was cold outside, so I was looking forward to a warm and spicy soup for comfort.

First of all, I judge Korean restaurants based on their kimchi, and this restaurant does not disappoint! They bragged about making it fresh daily, and it shows. The cabbage is crisp and crunchy, no chemical taste coming from preserved kimchi, and just about the right amount of sour. Good thing they sell it to take home, so we got a large container.

My spicy seafood soup was passable, no complaint. The soup was spicy enough, with two whole shrimps, a mussel, and a few bits of squid. The steamed dumplings were good, coming in the form of donuts. They're meaty, tasty, and good sharable items.

I wasn't a fan of their kalguksu noodle side dish, though. The broth tasted like MSG (I drank a lot of water for the next hour), and the noodles were soggy. Maybe I got a bad batch, knowing that the kalguksu got rave reviews from others, so I was slightly disappointed. Otherwise, it was a good meal for a cold day.

Hidden gem in Mississauga!

The kulguksu was 10/10 - flavourful broth, fresh chewy noodles - but the standout was the marinated pork in the naengmyun set! So good!

The dumplings were fresh but would be better with a bit more flavour.

The kimchi is the fresh, crunchy, milder type - my favourite!

Kids friendly environment. The food is good. I went there almost 2 times every month before deciding to keep going there. I had 3 kids and they dont talk (non verbal). They were asked ‘this is your home. Please be loud. ‘. And it happened multiple times during my visits. And I can tolerate this more once my daughter was expressing happiness and was asked to be kept loud. I explained to the waitress that I was comforting my daughter and she completely understood me, she even left us a tip. And the waitress said others were supporting your children for the quietness. I asked who were supporting and she pointed to all the tables in the restaurant. I knew we were quiet but not as quiet as other ppl talking and laughing and no one really supported them. And I tried to explain to them when I paid my bill and the waitress even said please continue complementing each other and u were making a lasting favourable impression of yourself. This is the only restaurant in my life time that keeps supporting us for being too quiet.

Ordered delivery today and I have to say that I am beyond pleased by the packaging! Nothing spilt and great quality, sustainable containers. The kimchi is also DELICIOUS, probably one of the few good ones offered by Korean restaurants that I’ve been to so far. Thank you!

My Korean friend brought me here as I'd been looking for better Korean food than what I was finding downtown:). I was pleasantly surprised by the seafood pancake and fresh kimchi in particular. We also ordered the vegetarian pan fried mandu (this one was okay), the spicy jjamppong (not very spicy though), and mul naengmyeon which had pretty chewy noodles which I liked. Overall, a comfortable and good spot for Korean food.

Loved the dumplings and the seafood kalguksu. The staff were super friendly giving us more tea and asking if we needed anything else.

Their Kimchi is special and I am definitely saying ‘best in GTA’. Kalguksu which is unique Korean style hand made fresh noodle is my soul food. It satisfied me when I miss my hometown food in Korea.
What I chose spicy bibim noodle today was so good but I recommend to try Kalguksu soup first if anyone want experience more authentic Korean noodle. Don’t forget fresh hand made steam dumplings too.

Best dumpling but their giant dumpling now increase price 15 bucks is too much! Same dumpling can be had for 10 dollars at another korean place near north york!

Why I didn’t know this store before! It’s soooo good’ the real Korean experience ~ I went to Seoul a lots of times! U CAN GET THE FULL KOREAN RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE HERE! THE KIMCHI IS THE SAME FLAVOR ASMY FRIENDS MOM IM CRYING! Even the take out gave me fine dining vibe! Love it! Bye owl or other Korean restaurants ~this one is the best！
