Honestly this is the best shawarma wrap I've ever had. I have eaten so many from so many places, especially when I lived in Ottawa. To my surprise this was noticeably better than anywhere. Sadly it's been closed for a week or two. On Google it says temporarily closed and I sure hope it doesn't last long.

Food was amazing. Worth the price in such a location. Food presentation was good and even the quality and quantity. Ambiance was great. Customer service was excellent.

Excellent Shawarma! The chicken is tender the humus is excellent and the crisped
pita with the touch of Humus was fantastic.

Worst experience. The guy with the beard is not friendly at all and needs to learn customer service. The fries and chicken had been sitting out and were cold.

The best shawarma in town. Tastes so right with the saj wrap, and the garlic is actual garlic not tzatziki like other shawarma shops serve.

A quick recommendation for anyone who wants to try a Shawarma and is not a middle eastern/Arab, you need to trust that the chicken is good, and don’t splatter veggies all over the plate/wrap just because it’s free. Enjoy it with garlic, pickles and tomatoes and keep the rest for falafel.

Their chicken shawarmas with beiruti fries is delicious and the falafels. *chefs kiss*! Unfortunately, the owner just told me that if he doesn't get busier, he doesn't know if he can stay open. So run, don't walk to Mzaar for the best shawarmas!

It's my favorite shawarma place now! The saj wrap is delicious and fresh, I refuse to eat pita wraps anymore. The chicken platter was good as well. The yellow rice was tasty, and the chicken was tender and juicy. The service was unexpectedly great.

Very tasty Chicken Shawarma, fresh veggies, nice sauce and well seasoned meat. Lightly grilled, it was exactly what I was looking for for lunch. Don't walk by this small place it's well worth dropping in.

The Saj wraps are the best! We tried finding where in Toronto they use saj breading and we found mzaar! They did not disappoint. The seating is nice as well.

Great restaurant, tasty food, friendly servers! Stopped by tonight to grab takeout for dinner and was super impressed. There was a constant stream of people ordering but the guys were working hard to get the food out quickly, and they were very friendly even though it was busy. I had a Shawafel Supreme Platter and my partner had a Chilli Cheese Chicken Supreme Platter. Both were delicious, and the falafel were some of the best I’ve ever had! Tons of food in the platters - we have lunch for tomorrow now. Will definitely be back!

These guys double charged me. Lied to me that my card did not work & was charged twice. Terrible service. They didn’t even bring the food to the table, nor ask for a glass of water.

Maybe this place was good at some point before a management change.because I don't uderstand the 4.4 rating.

Was at the jazz festival on bloor & avenue and wanted to treat my in laws to something tasty while we watch the shows. 11 minute walk to the good review shawarma place could not have left me more disappointed.got 3 shawarmas to go and 1 salad with 1 pop. $78.

Service: 2 guys with good attitude (nice guys), but man they were overworked and super slow. I spent literally 30 minutes waiting for my 4 portions with only 2 people in front of me. By the time I left the line was out the door. Washroom was dirty and the tap was busted.

Food: not good. Fries soggy and limp. Shawarma has too few toppings. Pita from a freezer. Shawarma is just empty and sad.

Value: nearly $20 per person.terrible value.

Don't know how they got 4.4 stars, absolutely makes no sense. I gave them my business, spent 20 minutes walking and 30 minutes waiting, left disappointed. And won't even be back.

The owner, Mo, made us feel welcome and personally served us. Very friendly. The food was delicious, worth another visit.

Honestly, this place is a gem. The guys are super friendly and service is great. But the food.oh my. The food is SO GOOD. Recommend 100%. The bowl/plate was excellent - very juicy and full of very flavourful dressing/sauce. The shawarma wrap was delicious too - they have a trick on how to get it very flavourful, which I won't disclose here. Check it out to experience (and taste) it. Yum

Mzaar has the best chicken Shawama wrap that I have ever tried. Make sure you order the wrap in the super saj roll. It is a must try!

I’ve been hear countless times, and always get what I’m expecting; the best shawarma downtown. You won’t find anything to match the quality anywhere West of Vic Park. Adding in the best price and friendliest service, this is THE spot for Lebanese food.

I've never seen a chicken wrap as thin as what I've got today. I literally got two slices of half tomato and a tiny few pieces of lettuce. And it's $14.1

Just too expensive. You don't raise the price and cut the portion to a half at the same time.

Mzaar has been my favorite destination for chicken shawarma wraps for many years, owing to their delicious taste, generous portions, and friendly manager. However, I'm compelled to express my disappointment with the recent changes in portion sizes and prices. Attached photos provide a visual comparison between 2022 (the first two photos) and the 2023 situation (the remaining photos).

Previously, Mzaar offered sizable chicken shawarma wraps that were truly satisfying. However, the portion size has noticeably shrunk. This significant decrease in size would have been more acceptable if it had been accompanied by a corresponding reduction in price. Unfortunately, the opposite is true. Prices have actually increased by approximately 30%. For instance, my usual order of 2 Chicken Shawarma Wraps and a 4-piece Falafel, which cost around $27 in 2022, now amounts to $36.

While I recognize that these are challenging times and price hikes are becoming commonplace, the changes implemented by Mzaar over the course of the past year have left me genuinely disheartened and somewhat shocked. Even the Falafels, as depicted in the attached photos, no longer include vegetables and are no longer served in a box. These reductions in quality and presentation have been particularly saddening for someone who once considered Mzaar their go-to shawarma spot.

Overall, I hope that Mzaar takes these concerns into account and reassesses their portion sizes and pricing strategy. As a long-time patron, I genuinely miss the Mzaar experience that I had come to love and cherish.

Seemed like he took pride in the food he made and the food tasted delicious, specially the falafels.

I ordered for the the first from Uber Eats. After reading reviews and seeing photos. It looks amazing, but the chicken quality is so low ot feels like eating a chewing gum. Also the salad was not fresh at all. I ordered chicken shawarma plate. Never ordering again.

Amazing, authentic shawarma! Hard to get authentic shawarma these days with most places around the gta being completely non authentic. This place is amazing! My go to when I’m downtown now!
