Nadège Patisserie

Exceptionally mediocre, entirely overrated and preposterously pricey. Bought the individual donut cake, very underwhelming, flavours were common. And at $3 a macaron, you'd expect a quality product, not two empty, crunchy shells held together by bland fillings (bought vanilla and salted caramel flavours). Disappointing.
Everything looks beautiful but don't let the exterior looks fool you.

Luxury pastry shop with no frills attitude to their customers. Spent $30 on over priced croissants and they charged a $1 for a box lol (I bought 4 + 3 mini) but you need to buy 6 to get a "free" box. It's not about the $1, when you are already paying a premium for their products, it's just a tacky.

Had an initial great experience with their smoked salmon sandwich on a croissant. Went back a second time, and the croissant tasted soggy/stale and had a 'ripping' rather than crunchy tecture, and the salmon tasted greasy.

Emailed them to see if this was a problem they could fix, and I got the following responses "all the product is made fresh that day from head office/ kitchen in Etobicoke and delivered every morning to all our shops. " and "It’s possible that the croissants might’ve been a little over cooked that day, but I can assure you they were not stale. "

Basically sounds like this is just luck of the draw. Some days, you get an excellent sandwich. Other days, you get a soggy/greasy one, and that's just what you can expect in the name of day-to-day variability.

For me, not worth it for an $11+tax sandwich. There are a tonne of other places that offer this sandwich in a more consistently delicious way.

Great cakes and other baked gooda. Online order and pick up was also very easy and smooth.

Nadège has the best pastries, cakes cookies, chocolates, sandwiches, macarons! The team is as lovely as it gets and I just LOVE going there. This is heaven on earth ️

Great spot for macarons. Had the Galette des rois for the first time, pleasantly surprised, very fun and delicious.

I love their pastries, specially their doughnuts. However, my last experience at this store was disappointing. I purchased a doughnut and it wasn't fresh. The cake was hard and the glaze wasn't fresh.

It is beautiful as are their wonderful confections. From the staff to the packaging and then the product. Most excellent. The prices are in line with their product

We decided to try Nadège just last weekend. Bought an assortment of croissants (regular, almond, cheese), apple turnover and almond tart. Tried them all before noon. My favourite was the apple turnover and regular croissant. The croissant had great texture and just crispy enough exterior, top quartile. But the apple turnover was a delicious surprise! Really enjoyed it.
The service we had was very helpful, much appreciated!

Amazing pastries and ice cream! I have a hard time walking by without going in and grabbing something! Their almond pie for the Epiphany was great!

Good stuff if you have deep pockets! Didn't try it myself but my friend enjoyed. I just had sticker shock.

Another great place for a weekend morning coffee. Try their macaroons. They are sooooo beautiful and delicious. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a real coffee.

Delicious delicious ice cream, we go out of our way to buy the stuff even though it's $15 for a pint. Luxury!

Pre-ordered a large pink blossom cake. Definitely looks bigger in the marketing photo. VERY sparse on the flower petals, almost none. Would not get again.

Great selection of croissants - I always enjoy passing by and picking up a few with a latte. My favourites are the cheese croissant, and the pistachio/raspberry croissant.

Amazing service every time we visit, with friendly and efficient clerks, beautiful cakes, and a cozy store atmosphere.

One of the staff members named Monica was super nice and they gave amazing food.

Their macaron are fantastic. Always a treat. They have some limited flavours in right now for Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day, check them out.

Great macarons, delicious sandwiches, the croissants are delightful. Nadège is one of my go-to places when I'm looking for a bit of a special treat.

Really fine pastries, light and flaky texture and rich, buttery taste. The raspberry square was especially delectable.

Excellent choice for sweet tooth and macaron lovers! They serve boutique cakes in individual size too, perfect if you just want to try it without getting the entire cake. Specialty chocolates are absolutely decadent, I can easily inhale an entire box on my own, they are that addictive and delicious.

Everything you could ask for when it comes to French pastry and cakes! I love all of their minicakes, especially cadeau and mt blanc (chestnut cream and cassis is such a good combo). The only thing is it's quite pricey, which is why I have it 4 stars instead of five. Note that I really like this particular location as the staff is super accommodating! What a wonderful and delicious place to stop for a quick snack. We haven't tried the sandwiches but the desserts are quite amazing and extremely delicious. Service from our server Sana was amazing and very polite.

Cold interior combined with not friendly staff. Can only survive in Toronto. Really joke. And ppl love it. Why? Because they have never seen a better place than this. Overrated!

Il n'y avait plus beaucoup de choix pour les pâtisseries alors que c'est une heure propice à prendre un thé.

My favorite bakery in the city. Every dessert is so well made. Their baked goods are always delicious. I dont think I've ever tried anything I didn't enjoy at Nadege. I recommend checking out this bakery.

Love this place. Everything they make is amazing and doesn't feel heavy! I got the chocolate cake for a family event and my parents couldn't stay away from it. I think they must have had about 3 slices each. Highly recommend their blackberry saffron cake as well.

Delicious pastry items! To me I think Nadege is one of the best in the GTA.

My usual order is the salmon croissant and macaroons.

Parking can be a bit hectic but within a small street there’s GreenP parking. There’s always side street parking which I paid $0.75 for 30 mins.

Nadège has the very best croissants, pain au chocolat and macarons in Toronto. So delicious. Absolute perfection.

The best of all the @#$& I shouldn't eat. The chocolate almond croissant make little to no sense they are so good.

Ya know.their macarons are just not worth the price. There are other local french bakeries in the surrounding neighborhoods that have much better quality at similar prices.

It’s not as quite good as i’d expect considering the price. Everything is overpriced but taste good.

I am french from Paris and I established myself in Toronto.

I heard about Nadege and thought I could get a nostalgic taste of my home, such a disappointment.

- The macarons are dry as hell and flavourless. Oh wait, it does actually taste sugar and industrial sugar only. Let's be honest about it, the sandwiches are small and NOT good.

I have the feeling Nadège does SCAM people in Canada, because it is way too expensive for the quality!

France doesn't want to get credit for that food, and more ironically, I can name many places BETTER than Nadege on a list below (not as snobby and expensive). Places that are not even french!

So here what I recommend if you're looking for something closer to the reality "patisserie wise".

- LaDurée
- Delysées
- Craque de Crème

For gastronomy's sake, let's face it all together, this place is a FRAUD. So save your money, Nadege doesn't worth the hype.
And I agree with previous reviews, only ignorant North American will buy.
In France, they will shut Nadege "Bakery" down.
