Nadim's No Frills

Very disappointed with the empty shelves and very dirty store. Obviously not enough staff being utilized to keep the store properly maintained.

One of the worst grocery stores in Durham. Store is dark, cramped and overflowing. It’s an absolute mess and shopping there feels stressful! Poor management!

Store is very clean and well stocked. Prices are relatively fair and the staff are very helpful. Good place to do groceries.

Even under new management, the produce is only slightly better looking than it was with the previous owner. I dont kno what it is, but I also have a hard time locating anything in this No Frills lol. EVEN with the signs above each Isle.

It was a Saturday I was there, it was very busy, they staff on hand did the best they could. Should have had more staff & more product.

Needs to bring more international groceries. Things from the Caribbean will make this location an awesome place to shop for all your groceries.

This no frills is getting more cultural things and getting different varieties from all over the world. We need diversity on products. Thank you for the new items.

This is one the places where I enjoy my grocery shopping without being stressed out of finding thing. This location is by far one of the cleanest Nofrill’s store I have been. If you want a hustle free shopping and friendly environment I highly recommend this location.

I'd shop here more if there were more cashiers available. Place is clean and neat for a no frills. No complaints over the product just the service is slow due to traffic volume vs size of the store

Worst Customer service ever seen, Manager and Employee at Nadim's No Frills doesn't care about Covid-19 protocols because I bought products on 15 Jan and took it back for return on 26 Jan i.e. Within 12 days. I was in Isolation for 10 days so, I could not come early at store. Then Cashier No. 6 lady Called the Manager & so, 2 guys came together and checked my bill and told me you are late for your return. I explained them that I was isolated for 10 days but still, all 3 didn't help me out for my return & also didn't guide me anything about Online return or Phone call, because when person wants to help by heart they can explain to customer about different ways to solve return issues while isolation time period. I don't care about My MONEY, I just Care about my COMMUNITY & PEOPLE SAFETY. So Nadim's No Frills Employees & So called "Manager" Improve your Customer Service and Talk nicely with good solution and try to win all Customer's Heart. Have Safe & Healthy Life.

Went Friday night for some quick groceries and the young cashier by the door scrutinized every item I had to price match. If it didn't have the same picture she refused the price match. Ex: Simply Lemonade (the pix was the yellow version) I was buying the pink lemonade. She had to call her manager! Then she said. "We will make an exception this time"! I think these cashiers should have more leniency when price matching. They should look at the price and see if it makes sense as well. I also was also price matching McCain Premium fries (the stand up bags) but again she wanted to limit me to the one bag that matched the picture! Premium fries are wedges, shoestring, crinkle etc.etc. I don't think Nadim No Frill's would want to lose customers over this treatment that I experienced. Unfortunatley she did. In the end the cashier also made a "snarky" comment! I never have this experience of being "harassed" for price matching at Superstore or Freshco. Such a smooth and friendly process at those stores!

We went for a quick grocery shopping here and liked this no frills. They had all items stocked up and it was easy to locate items.

Very poor quality produce. I end up throwing away more than I actually use. If I could give 1 star, I would.

Disappointed with this store. I have not only emailed and called this store for a follow up of my complaint, they have not responded. Rude staff members especially on Mondays. Asked this young lady which I got a name of, Alisha, a question and her response was "don't work in grocery" and continued talking to another male worker. I shop at Nadims Nofrills every week and always have a terrible experience, and their manager Liane, is no better as she always has a terrible attitude towards her customers. Definitely lost my family and I as customers.

They don't even deserve a star, if I can put anything below one star, I would. NEVER shopping here ever again! I used to be a frequent customer at this location, but after seeing how these poor teenage employees are being treated, I will never return to shop here again. My daughter is friends with a current employee at this store, this store treats their employees with workplace abuse, I can NOT support this.

Well organized in displays and cashes! Only thing is they don't carry bags of Lactose Free milk

Good clean store well organized at check there are line ups when checking out but moves very fast.better then my local No‐Frills

I bought a huge load of groceries here last week and was so thankful for the excellent service I received. Andrew from customer service helped package up my groceries and bring them to my car, which made my day as a busy mama of 4! Thanks again for your amazing help, Andrew!

Very good store because it's clean and not so busy. Parking lot is also good with lots of parking. Located beside a Shopper's Drug
mart so very convenient if you need to go there too.

They didn't have the sale item I was looking for in stock but the associate I questioned provided an explanation and was apologetic. Store was clean and staff was pleasant.

I am not a fan of this store. The produce is always a horrendous selection! And they are ALWAYS out of sale items! It's a shame!

Shop here daily. Pleased with the selection and cleanliness. Often run out of items on a Monday after the weekend however delivery of food items is unpredictable due to covid.
No issues with staff.seem pleasant.
Prices are great.

This is an awesome Bakery the only place I find the best gluten free bread and if you need anything else gluten free they can do it for

Do not appreciate NoFrills constantly increasing its groceries. The sales are useless these days. Once spoke to the owner and Nadim was also very rude and arrogant to talk to. Their strawberries are raw and never fresh. Better choices of fresh food in NoFrills elsewhere. They will not price match with Food Basics, which is only 8 kilometres away. A two year old can understand they are part of our region. This store owner these days feels like he can treat their customer however he wants and we would keep running back to them. No, I am actually not that crazy after food. Goodbye Nadim with your absolute poor customer service. If you treat a customer this way, what shall I expect from your cashiers and everybody else. He never replies customers complaints and concerns in months.

Produce is fresh. Covid safety precautions above par! They do not bag your groceries making check out take twice as long. (This was standard practice pre covid) not a big deal if you are grabbing a few things but when your shopping for a large family it is frustrating and I feel like I am just holding everyone up.

Line ups are crazy long right now but to their credit they do move very quickly. Always have what I need in stock, especially sale items.

The store is clean and staff is friendly.
However, their produce Dept is not well kept and stocked fresh.

This is my go to place for groceries but sometimes the supplier doesn't deliver and you get out of luck with deals

Friendly, helpful staff. No shortcuts on Covid-19 mask requirements. A lot of us old farts appreciate it.

Very poor organization of line. People with 2 items have to line up with people who have a full cart. I used to like this store too bad

Most of the time you cannot find the items in the flyer with good discounts. Staff is also not friendly. Not recommended for shopping.

Friendly staff, clean and decent quality produce, however the meat selection could be a bit better. The store itself also seems smaller, as a result the selection overall feels less than at a larger store (like the one in south Whitby).

It's a convenient location for me, although getting out of the plaza can be a challenge. Making a left hand turn onto Garden is crazy nowadays with people routinely driving 25km+ over the limit. It's basically a drag strip.

Best No Frills! Ample parking, fully accessible and very clean. Fabulous fresh produce. Lots of products to choose from. Staff are helpful, professional and very personable.

Very limited items and even stuff on Flyer is not carried. Even the international products are not available.

An excellent place for groceries, without the frills of other stores.now I get it! No Frills! Classic. Its conveniently located in a plaza and the yellow makes it extremely noticable. Get your PC points card ready before check out, you can collect them here too.simply amazing.

This is our GoTo no frills store, at least until they extend Dryden Blvd. It’s clean, well laid out and the parkinglot is easy to park in. People are just there to get their shopping done after a busy day and it always is quick to get in and out of the store!

If would be nice if self-checkout lanes can be added for 8 items or lesser. That being said, the checkout line service was fine.

It was a great store when the previous owners managed the store. It is not as clean and it is not a store that feels welcoming anymore.

I was reaching for a can of spaghetti sauce on the bottom shelf when an employee dropped a jar of Classico Marinara from the top shelf that missed my head by 6". Sauce and glass hit the ground and splattered all over me.the employee cared more to clean the mess than check if I was okay. I had sauce and glass on my foot, leg and face.walked to the cashier to ask for paper towel with glass on my foot. I know accidents happen but this kid feared more of getting in trouble then for the customers.

Quick, clean and easy, if price is what's important to you then this works. They also accept the optimum rewards app which is a bonus.

When this place was owned by La Rosa, it was quite a bit better. The store was cleaner and better stocked.

Now I find it dirty, and understocked. The overall quality of food is not the same as well.

I wouldn't recommend going to this No Frills. There are many other grocery stores in the area that are much higher quality and with comparable prices.

This La Rosa’s no frills in Whitby is my best ever experience in 20+ years. The cashier offered to help me. She cashed me out and had a helper take me to my car. I walk with a walking cane and a rollator/walker She was spectacular and I’ll keep shopping at this no frills. Young lady. Thank you ever so much. Please put in motorized shopping carts for customers and chairs for the cashiers. Always a pleasure to see workers trying their best. I’m a happy no frills customer. Tara
