Been going to this location for a few years, now I go once a month. Every nail tech is amazing, the management are really nice and accommodating - I always book online and in advance but I’ve had to call in before and they are great in letting you know if they can accommodate you. Really friendly staff, clean environment and they do an amazing job every time. My nail tech - Oanh Oanh - noticed last November that my nails were really brittle and breaking easily so she recommended I try biogel if I wanted to get my nails strengthened. My nails grow amazing, the biogel stays on for so long, it doesn’t chip or break my nails and I really am so happy with the service, care and especially my fab nails. This experience was honestly horrible. I was in need to get my nails done so I go to see if they did acrylics and asked the price, the lady was helping another customer so she called for the one in the back. When she came out she was so rude and was on her phone half the time, I asked for the price nicely and she didn’t respond so I said “pardon” and what she said next shocked me. She said “oh my god I already told you this” and she yelled that and that is totally wrong to treat a customer like that. So I simply walked out. Worst customer experience never going there!

I got my nails done 2 weeks ago and I'm so dissapointed. I cringe when I see my nails. I wanted to get them removed but haven't gotten the time and also really feel like a waste of money as I thought I'd have them on for about 4 weeks. I noticed her applying the gel so untidyly but everytime I tried to say something she kept saying she will fix it in the end and in the end I noticed she just wrapped up quickly and left her station.
Each of my nail bed has a different size some flatand others dented.
My natural nail beds are better looking than this.
Would never visit here again.

Good salon, super nice staff!
They're very busy and at times seem a little disorganized.
Also, my pedicure was just okay, I've had better experiences at other salons.

Oanh oanh is the best thing that ever happened to my nails! I love her style and speed and efficiency! So happy with her work every time! This is the set she did for me today and i’m always happy with what she does!

Such a great experience coming to this nail salon. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I am very satisfied with my nails and will be coming again. Mimi did such a great job I love my nails

On August 22,2020, I visited NailsForYou, located at 5100 Erin Mills Parkway, for a walk-in pedicure service.

During the visit, the employee assigned to me proceeded to cut and squeeze my toenails in a aggressive and non-professional manner. I expressed to her that I was experiencing pain, but she communicated that since my nails are in-grown, the sides of the nails require trimming. In addition, for the duration of visit, the employees insisted on up-selling services to me which I had to decline multiple times. The total charge came to $109.61, including tax. Upon arriving home from the mall, I began to experience discomfort and a sharp pain in my left toe to the point I was unable to walk normally. As a result, I decided to visit the visit the salon to communicate the issue and request a refund.

On August 23,2020, I visited the solon early in the day and requested the manager to whom I expressed my issue. Initially, the employee expressed that they do not trim in-grown nails, instead they cut a straight line, the exact opposite way my nails were trimmed. And when I requested the refund, the employee communicated that she is unable to provide a refund without the owner’s consent, to which responded by asking to speak to the owner.

I waited 10 minutes for the manager to arrive. For a second time I expressed the inability to put pressure on my left big toe due to how the nail was trimmed, to which the manager contradicted her employee previous statement and said that the pain was due to the shape of my nail rather than how it was trimmed. The manager also proceeded to take a discrete image of my affected toe against my permission. On multiple occasions, other employees walked up to me and wanted to touch the affected area themselves, to which I strongly declined, expressing that unless they are a medical professional, I will not be letting them touch me. One of the employees wanted me to provide proof from my family doctor to support my claim that I was unable to walk normally. At the end of the interaction, the manager declined to refund me the $109.61 that was charged to my debit card. My interaction with the staff of NailsForYou was nonconstructive, none of them accepted any responsibility for their actions nor did they attempt to correct the situation.

Following my visit to the salon, I went to a walk-in clinic on August 23,2020, to have my toe examined and the doctor advised me that due to how it had been trimmed, I have a risk of infection and prescribed me with a topical antibiotic which I needed to purchase myself.

I am amused by the selective ignorance expressed in the response and is consistent with my experience with the manager and employees from this location.

You have a 3-star rating, majority of which are one-star reviews like mine. Other customers have experienced injuries like me at the hands of your careless employees. I am not an anomaly; you are just bad at what you do and refuse to accept it.

You are far from medical professionals to provide me with a diagnosis of the damage your employee did on my feet. In addition, it has been over a week, and my toes are still in pain.

It is true that the manager attempted to explain and educate me on ingrown nails, but with her self-proclaimed 15 years of experience, she failed to see the damage one of her employees had done to me and like you, declined to accept responsibility.

Up-selling and being pressured to accept unnecessary add-on services does not sound like behavior anyone would associate with a satisfactory service.

I have already visited the salon, emailed you and wrote a review, every time, you have declined to accept any responsibility. I have given you ample opportunity to resolve this conflict, I am now going to the Better Business Bureau to get my refund.
