Nails For You

I went to the new location in the mall to get acrylics done and my mom, a pedicure. The guy doing my mom‘s toes cut her so bad she bled for a few hours afterwards, they were also the most misshapen, thick, crookedly cut pedicured toes I have ever seen. The girl doing my nails, cut 6 way shorter than requested, so I asked her to take off the tips and re-cut them. Then the manager started arguing with me (while doing another girls nails beside me) about it being my nail beds, which I said it’s not my nail beds. The nails are cut way too short and I don’t like them at the end of the day. After my nails are done, three of them were so crooked and off the side and one was cut way too short again even after getting new tips on. So I had to go to the other Nails For You and get them fixed. That was the most awkward interaction ever. Firstly, the girl literally took my hand and showed them to almost every single person working laughing about how could she ever have cut my nail so short then I showed her my other hand with the three crooked nails, and she started laughing with her coworkers about that side. Because I had to work, I could only get the short nail fixed and not the crooked ones even though she said she wanted to fix them. (I was also leaving for Cuba first thing the next morning). The girl fixing my nails asked the manager from the other location to bring over the colour and then she proceeded to sit there the entire time watching me as I got my nail fixed. The nail that got replaced was too small for my nail bed, so a quarter of my fingernail was able to be seen on the side. And then I proceeded to have two nails fall off 10/11days after getting them done. The owner at the main store is rude and you will never get the same service if you go. Will definitely never be going back here.

The guy at the front desk needs to change his customer service skills. I booked my appointment I was running late because of traffic. I called ahead to let him know I was late.he called me and was rude over the phone. I have been going there for over 5 months and that was my last time. Mai did a good job from the beginning but the customer service was really disappointing!

Sophie did a fabulous job on my nails for my vacation! She was meticulous and so talented with the detail and design I wanted!

I believe I was scammed out of a perfectly good $10.00 bill that was switched with a damaged one when I wanted change for it. Beware if you are paying by cash! The guy on the cash is swift! However the pedicure was awesome! Otherwise I would give it 5 star.

I love coming here. The service is quick and they always trive on making sure you are happy and satisfy with your service. Natalie is amazing and so quick and professional. Love you.

My nails have full of scratches now. She was not friendly at all and with her extra long nails she couldn’t even clean my nail polishes. Don’t go there!

Worst experience, I have been going to this salon for a while and every technician is different, it has been a couple of times back to back that I'm not satisfied with their service seems that they don't care anymore, last time I did my nails, It was not the same service. Several steps were skipped, she made my nails so sharp at the edges.the product was chunky and bumpy and it was overall very uneven.
And if I try to ask them nicely for something I want or to fix, they start talking to one another in their language and laughing and seems that they're making fun of you.

It felt so rushed.

Awful customer service. Staff were rude and the hygiene was disgusting. Completely took advantage of my 82 year old mother. I am appalled that they are still in business and people are supporting this establishment.

I live in Montreal and go to this salon for my manis and pedis (when I'm visiting my daughter who lives in Barrie) Every nail technician I've had has been friendly, professional, and great at their job! This past visit I went to the new location in the mall, and it was just as good of an experience. Both places are always busy, that says a lot about the high quality of work they do. Thank you!

I was sent to express because the regular spot was full and while everyone was so nice and welcoming my nails turned out terribly. I have been going to nails for you for years but I will never use express again.

Kim is amazing - she was so patient with me and did a wonderful job on my nails. I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy with a nail design! Everything about it is perfect.

MAI is an incredibly talented nail technician who paid great attention to detail. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. The salon itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I left feeling pampered and with beautiful nails that received compliments all day. I can't wait to go back!

I have never been to this salon to get my nails done but today I went to have my acrylics removed. The entire process left me in shock. The tech clipped the ends of my nails off while the acrylics were still on, cutting off any natural nails that were there. After this she took a plastic nail tip and proceeded to wedge it between my nail and the acrylic literally prying the nails off. There was no soaking in acetone to soften the nails, nothing. It was a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience that has left me with ugly and more importantly severely damaged nails. How can you take pride in your work when you let a customer walk out with nails that look like this?

As much as I love this place, I was sent to their new location for an acrylic fill and I was not expecting the services I received. I’ve been going to their old location for just over a year now and I’ve never had an issue, unfortunately this time I did. I explained exactly what I wanted to do when I sat down, I had to stop the male technician and ask him again to make my nails shorter as I had my previous set on for almost two months. He then got mad at me for not saying anything when I had. He also did not replace one of the nails like I had asked since it had gone crooked and hooked from being so long. I now have one hand that is way shorter than the other. I’m still going to keep them as my only salon, I’m just super surprised at the way I was treated at the new location they opened. I now will have to pay even more money to fix something I had asked for from the start.

Went to get a full set of gel. The put the extentions on weird so they were literally sticking up almost straight from my nail. Not even sure how they managed that. The gel isn't even so there's thick spots and thin spots, it looks god awful. They also attempted to put a moon and star on there. Big mistake asking for that. Soooo poorly done. Will never go back. Nails have been filed so much after everything they were sore for days and had a few cuts.

Packed as usual. But still some space we booked a time as we probably wouldn't have gotten in otherwise. Most of the reviews depend on who is your nail tech. Mine ignored me and cut my hands multiple times. I asked her a couple questions regarding my nails and she just didn't answer them. My nails turned out well but there was no Discussion about shaping. I went with a friend and they sat us down next to each other which was nice. Her nail tech was much more pleasant and talked to her about what was happening and was just polite. I'm giving it 3 because most of the other nail techs are polite and it would have been a good experience other than that.

Went in for a shellac Manicure and pedicure with my mom for a wedding, Manicure was done great fix a nail that had a black speck in it. When getting the pedicure she trimmed the skin around my big toe a little too short as it kinda hurt but it didn't look like it bleed. The next day i noticed it was hurting to walk when I was at work so I checked it and it was red, inflamed and pus was coming out. Was told by my pharmacist I need to get an antibiotic since its infected. Great experience till this happened.
Update: I called like the "response from owner" said but it wasn't actually from the owner what the person said as they had no idea what I was talking about. Left my name and number as I was told I would get a call back after they looked up my review. Nothing

My daughter treated me to a manicure for my birthday and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. Great service, love the colour choices and the design too. Oh and the hand massage at the end was to die for. I'll definitely be returning.

Best salon I’ve experienced in Barrie. We were a walk in at 6: 30pm and we got an appointment within 45 mins. The place was packed but the owners were very kind and kept us updated with our wait times. I got a fill for a set of acrylic nail from a different salon and Kimmie was absolutely amazing. She fixed everything I didn’t like about my last set and she was super attentive to detail. I would highly recommend.

Busy place but pleasant experience. They seem to be more hygienic conscious and maintain each station cleaned. I would definitely come back again.

Linda is absolutely amazing! Best mani-pedi I’ve ever had! She took her time and was very thorough and nice. She made sure that the cuticles were perfect which I’ve seen other places skip over. My only complaint is that it is not the cleanest, the pedi chairs need to be replaced, but it looks like they are moving locations inside the mall so hopefully the new location also means new furniture! Front desk lady was really nice, and they even took me earlier than my scheduled appointment! I would highly recommend! Also love that they give a receipt to you so you can see exactly what you’re being charged for.

Was informed the night before my appointment that girl wasn’t working there anymore but that my technician was skilled and would do the same job, especially since I just get one solid colour easy dip nail application. This was not the same service. Several steps were skipped, nails were shortened and shaped without asking, the product was chunky and bumpy and it was overall very uneven. It felt rushed which I’d never experienced here before. I went home and had to re file, re buff and re do the gel top coat just so that they looked a bit better. If I didn’t have the supplies I would have had to just take all the nails off. Will not be returning.
