Nails For You Conestoga

Asked me many rude invasive questions about my son who has a disability. Asked many times for them to fill the water for my daughter and they complained and acted like I was putting them out each time. It took us over a hour to get a pedicure as they kept jumping between many clients. Water was cold and gross with lots of debris floating around. They where extremely rude the entire visit and polish application was mediocre at best. Not disability friendly, child friendly, or clean. Choose elsewhere.

As echoed from other reviews, this place is problematic. I got a shellac pedicure and the woman (owner’s wife, I believe?) provided terrible services. To start, she kept commenting on how I should get nail extensions because my nails are “too short”when I told her multiple times I wanted a basic shellac. She was extremely rude and as other people have commented, likely prejudiced. The way she spoke to other BIPOC customers in a hostile and standoffish manner, including myself, was distubring. The tools used were not disinfected and the place was filthy. I’m surprised this place has not been shut down by a health inspector yet. Also, the quality of nail polish is bad, as it started to chip immediately. Would never come back.

I went there for eyebrow threading, staff is not welcoming plus inside of using thread only she is using plucker to pull the hair. Bed service, no care about coustomer’s skin.

I went in for refill powder nail and the man did had time to do it but was very bad attitude no matter what you say he had an answer and saying no it should be like that, no this is the way, your nail is like that, I asked for 2 layers nail polish and he did not do it at all. I already book another appointment to go fix the nail that he did for me.

Absolutely disgusted with nails for you! My husband took my daughter (who is almost three) in to get her nails painted and sent me a photo of them putting shellac on! I’m not sure about anyone else but I feel like this isn’t ok? ! Filing her nails down and putting them under a UV light at that age? ! When I called to ask the man was nothing but rude and said they do whatever the client asks. She asked for pink nails. I will defiantly not be recommending this salon to ANYONE ever again!

Amazing nail shop and great customer service. I love talking with fellow business owners and see their passion for business and serving their clients with pride. I am highly impressed with his talent. I will be returning every time im visiting in Canada

Absolutely worst nail place I’ve ever been to, I showed her a picture and it was a simple French tip. Did not even remotely look the same, wasn’t even the same shape. I paid and asked to redo the French tip and I was kicked out the store, PLEASE don’t waste your money here. Management was rude and did nothing for me. I even asked for them to take off my nails n get a partial refund. I was kicked out the store. While she was dragging me by my hand to show other customers saying it’s “beautiful”
I was publicly embarrassed for no reason n now I have to walk around embarrassing myself due to these nails

They take no accountability for unhappy customers and their customer service skills are terrible. My girlfriend paid ahead of time and went to this salon because she had been to other locations with no issues. She asked for a French tip and had a photo of how she wanted the nails to be done. Long story short, the nails came out nothing like the photo she had referenced.

She brought this to the attention of the nail technician by kindly asking for them to be fixed OR taken off for a full/partial refund. The nail tech refused to do either one and instead made a scene by dragging my girlfriend around by her hands to show other customers that the nails were “nice” and that she had nothing to be dissatisfied with. Essentially, humiliating and disrespecting her in front of the entire shop. This is not the way to treat any customer regardless of how they felt about the work done.

If there is a no refund policy in place then that is understandable, but embarrassing a customer and disregarding how they feel (in front of everyone) is highly unprofessional and uncalled for. Mind you, my girlfriend remained respectful during the entire interaction, even while her botched nails were being showcased to the entire shop as “beautiful”.

The nail tech failed to take any responsibility for her poor service/attitude and told my girlfriend to get out of the shop at the end of their embarrassing interaction.

Overall, very unprofessional and disappointing. If you want to be treated like a paying customer, I do not recommend this shop.

Some employees are really good but some seemed like owners were very rude. When I asked to look at colours, he said “I don’t have time for this”. We pay so much for doing nails and their attitude towards clients is so bad.
Not going again.

TRASHHHHH PLACE. DO NOT COME HERE I WARN YOU. IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS, ITS A SIGN NOT TO GO HERE! Terrible service. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Asked the nail tech to copy a simple design and they did a trash job without any compensation even though I genuinely didn’t like it. Then the owner proceeded to shame me in front of customers and kick me out for not like her bootleg work. Disgusting individual.

I haven’t been here for a while and today I stop by and it was a great Experience the owner was very welcoming also did my nails as well. Very efficient and professional! Will visit soon:)

Went to go get a fill, she only added the new stuff around the cuticle area and nothing on the tips so they are very thin. I usually get a fill and it costs about 45 w tip and here it was 55 before tip.

I can’t believe it! I got my nails done with a very nice brownish slight pink colour with black stripes, and I went to bed, the next morning my nail polish was peeling off so easily, without me even picking on them and later that day all my nail polish peeled off! I was angry about that but before when I was getting my nails done the woman there picked under my finger nails a little bit, and none of the staff were wearing gloves! I didn’t say anything while she was doing it, but that seemed very unsanitary. One other thing is that the woman also called me “girl” the entire time, which I didn’t mind but it was a little bit disrespectful, she didn’t even ask for my name! I will never be going back!

I got my nails done. The nail tech did an ok job on the design I wanted but I didn’t care too much as I am only in Waterloo to look after my mom and had a broken nail. I paid 100 bucks and noticed a bubble and i didn’t want it to chip in the future as that has happened in the past. I called and spoke to someone on the phone and he was very pleasant and understanding and said yes come in. When I spoke to who I think is the owner was very dismissive and said it is small and not a chip. I paid 100 dollars and I did not want the bubble to turn into the chip. She made me feel bad for wanting it fixed. UPDATE: the nail that she fixed the bubble looks awful.there is a line through my nail with no polish. Not worth $100. If you want quality service and kind techs do not come here!

They squeezed us in even though we came last minute, the service was really quick and efficient! The man who did my nails was very kind and it was a reasonable price!

My nail technician did a great job and was fast and efficient. I was in and out in 40 minutes and my nails still look amazing after 1.5 weeks. No chips or anything. Will definitely return.

Have been coming to see Ly for years. Always a perfect manicure & very pleasant. Always takes the time to lusten to what I'd like & she does it. Ly goes above & beyond for me everytime. Have & will continue to recommend them. Great job Ly, Thank you!

Nail polish is chipping probably after a week of them doing. Paid $80 just for plain nail polish. Usually at that cost, you can get a design with it.

My nail technician was both professional and courteous. While we were asking inquiries to seek clarification, the owner appeared to be really unpleasant.
