This is an amazing place for Vietnams food. We come here often and it’s always busy.

Their food is the best I ever had for all the vietnams places I went. Shoutout for their pickle garlic it tastes so good!

The servers are all very efficient and friendly. The owner comes out and help the front too when it’s get crazy busy.

They have more variety of Vietnamese dishes than other Viet restaurants. The qualities of most the dishes are above average. The environment and setting are nice and clean. Just the floor all over the whole restaurant is too slippery. The service can be much better if the waitresses and waiters can understand better English.

Amazing food and atmosphere, but be prepared for a long line to get in at peak times, as well as long wait times to be served. Food was worth it though

Very Fresh foods since it's always busy, I noticed when your name is on the waiting list they called you three times and doesn't seem to called the phone number on there. So be warn if you're waiting in line just stick around because they will just call the next in line if you aren't waiting there personally when they get super busy. Wings and smoke meat is a must eat here on every tables.

The restaurant has recently switched off QR codes. This hasn't necessarily affected the quality of the food, but certainly the efficiency of service. Still an incredible experience but the staff seem a little busier now that they have to take everyone's order

Soup base is the finest in the GTA; however, it is always crowded and weekend wait periods for larger parties can exceed an hour, despite the restaurant's size. Everything is fresh because the turnover rate is high and rapid. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I feel the noodles are way too generous here so I always ask for half noodles instead. When I worked out, I would request no noodles at all. The ambience is so perfect and natural here, I frequently come here on non-busy weekdays for laptop work and Vietnamese coffee.

Been here multiple times, and the food and price was great. However recently its been very disappointing. The large howl of noodles barely had that much noodles in it. Also the broth was very oily and not that hot, so it doesnt seem authentic and fresh. The spring rolls were also very sad. Look hot thin it is, there is barely any meat and ingredients. Both of these items are also overpriced for its quality, can definitely find a more worth it place for pho somewhere else️

This restaurant stands out as one of the best Vietnamese options in town. While the pho didn't quite meet my expectations, their vermicelli and wings were excellent. What sets this place apart from other Vietnamese restaurants is its unique ambiance, adding to its special appeal.

I'm a big fan of the original Nam and I had a good time at Nam 2 as well! The fried chicken wings had great texture but they were pretty small. The vermicelli and pho were both consistently good, with the pho having a huge portion size. I got a medium and I was shook when the bowl arrived, I had to pack it up for leftovers. My favourite was the water chesnut and coconut milk drink!

Wings were good the brisket pho was delicious! Big portions. Only thing lacking is service

This place straight up pulled a pho restaurant. Prices went up but wings got smaller.

Thai iced tea is mostly ice so it was so diluted it tasted like water.

Bun Bo Hue was one dimensional, all it had was spice but taste was mediocre. The noodles were not cooked well and it was harder than usual.

Need to take a break from this place unfortunately. They also took away the QR code thing, which means new menus, which means increase in prices woo-hoo.

By all means, it wasn't bad but this place was way better just a couple months back. What happened?

Very cute, ambient vibe inside. Nicely spaced so it doesn’t feel too crowded while you’re sitting and dining.

The food quality and portions are fair. Everything tasted delicious. The menu will indicate an approximate time frame for how long it’ll take to prepare each dish and it’s pretty accurate to what’s indicated.

Customer service was decent, servers seemed timid but overall did their best efforts.

The noodles soup not hot enough, no good chicken wings test bad.no service why they auto add 12% service charges

Our favourite viet restaurant in town. The pho broths are always on point and never disappoints. We’re here almost once a week!
It’s always busy here and based on yelp waitlist so definitely worth the wait.

Their BAN XEO is a must try! Big fan.

This location is just as good as the OG!

Generally speaking all items are quite authentic that's done well and slightly elevated.

Amazing food and menu selections not like a typical Vietnamese restaurant this one is more upscale for a few more bucks but worth it and they are super popular, first location now this location is killing it

22 hours bone marrow pho and wings are a must! Expensive but high quality meat so very worth every penny.

Ordered the 22 hours bone marrow pho with beef brisket and ribeye slices. Broth was quick tasty and fragrant. There were a good 4 to 5 ribeye slices. Service seemed a bit rush but it is a busy restaurant.
Update: Pho with tripe, beef balls and ribeye slices was pretty good too

I don’t understand the hype.

The first time I go to any viet restaurant is to order the standard beef pho. The bowl itself was huge, the noodle portion in the bowl was normal, but the meat, tendon etc were all very stingy. In a giant bowl, it was mostly “broth” and noodle. The “broth” didn’t taste like something that had been made for hours with bones and was on the salty side. I was really disappointed.

Chicken wings - These were good, crispy and tasty. But for the price, I would expect that.

Service charge - Be aware there is an automatic service charged of 12%. This is when all the utensils and sauces are already on your table and you order via the QR code on your phone. Besides the food being brought to my table, I did not receive any other service. You also go up to the counter to pay. The 12% is not justified.

Amazing Vietnamese food! I'm so happy they expanded to open a second location in Markham!

Located in the New Kennedy Square plaza, this restaurant is hard to miss because you'll always find people waiting outside for a table. So be sure to come early if you don't want to be waiting too long.

Due to COVID this restaurant has really stepped up on the digital front. Patrons are asked to scan a QR code on the table which takes them to an online menu you can order directly from. The selection is quite large and varied but has many familiar offerings such as pho, vermicelli bowls, bahn mi, bahn xeo and more!

We started with a basket of dry wings which were flavourful and crispy! It came with a lime dipping sauce which helped add some acidity and brightness to the dish.

As for mains we got bun cha and a bowl of bun rieu with soft shell crab. The bun cha was incredibly flavourful and when you mix it with the veggies, herb and noodles it's makes the perfect bite.

And the bun rieu is a specialty noodle on their menu which isn't offered at many Vietnamese restaurants. The broth may look red and intimidating but it's far from it. It was very light and fragrant, you could really taste the sweetness from the tomatoes. The soft shell crab comes separately on a small plate to maintain its crunch. The crab was crispy and you could taste spices and herbs in the batter. Inside there was a perfect amount of roe. This alone was worth the price.

I've come back and this has become my go-to Viet restaurants in Markham. This time I tried the honey glazed wings which was perfectly coated with the right amount of sauce. I did want the wings to be a little meatier and slightly less deep fried as it was a tad on the dry side. For mains I got the beef curry with rice. The portion is fairly generous with lots of rice to go with the curry. The rice they use is a shorter grain than jasmine but was still a good pairing with the curry. The dish also came with shredded cabbage and in the curry you'll find some potatoes, beef brisket and plenty of herbs. With a squeeze of lime it really adds some nice freshness and acidity to it making it taste not so heavy. The curry wasn't spicy but was well balanced. We also ordered a vermicelli bowl with beef and spring roll. Similar to the bun cha we ordered last time, the beef was well seasoned and had the nice wok hay flavour. The spring roll was nice and crisp and added good texture to the dish.

This restaurant is just as good as it's original location and has all the unique offerings. Service is quick and helpful. Their patio was closed when we got there but they were nice to set it up for us as it was warm when we went. Be mindful to either make a reservation or come early to beat the crowd.

Just an absolute gem of a restaurant. The service and decor are absolutely fantastic and the food is just top notch.

The Bun Bo Hue, Wings, and Bun Thit are absolute showstoppers. I’m looking forward to visiting many times in the future to try their other features.

Popular spot in strip mall, tasty Vietnamese food, generous portions, reasonable prices. Nice and cozy vibe. Interior has chill tropical decor.

Will be back, recommend avocado smoothie and broken rice wth grill pork chop and lemongrass chicken thigh.

Very good food, good service, and a nice place to sit and eat, especially on a nice warm summer day.

The food from this restaurant is 10/10. The best chicken wings I've had from anywhere, ever in my life.you cannot go wrong here. This is my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the city. I will be a regular here from now on. I look forward to gaining weight with yall

Busy Vietnamese restaurant in Markham. Pho is always tasty. Must try their butter chicken wings.

Just average! Soft shell crab noodles are too salty and pork spring rolls bum are not enough vegetables and peanut. I think prices are included tips.

Small restaurant but nice environment. First time to try Banh Xeo and very good. Will go back to try the noodles next time.

Visited for the first time yesterday and the food was excellent! Pho was great. I ordered the rice with butter beef and egg. The beef was very buttery and flavourful. Portions are quite good too. The avocado smoothie was delicious. Prices are reasonable here too. Highly recommend!

The dry chicken wings were tasty, but overall it wasn’t a pleasant experience; from calling them to place my order to picking it up and paying at the cashier, their tone and attitude was rude and dismissive. Furthermore, the grilled pork vermicelli had so little vermicelli in it and the pho with vegetables only contained bok choy… shouldn’t it be called pho with bok choy instead? Portions are expensive for what they are but I wouldn’t mind paying for it if their customer service was up to standards, unfortunately that is not the case.
