Nando's Bay Street

Would like more space between the bench and table I sat at.
Was not provided a high chair for my baby to sit on and we didn't bring his as stroller so, we had to keep holding him. Very challenging with constricted space. Would do it again but make personal adjustments to be comfortable. Really good food

I intended to order 10 whole wings but they said it would take 20 minutes for it to arrive in the restaurant it would probably then take around 20-30 minutes so I ordered 3 boneless chicken spicy with fries it was 19.98$ including tax and wow it was a great choice the chicken is soo greatly cooked not too much cooked so you can taste the juice in it but also not raw and I really like the seasoning and the sauce was great

the fries was good but some of it was too hard that it breaks as I try to pick it up with the fork also I wish if they made the fork a little bit sharper because it took time to pick a single fries just because the fork wasn’t sharp enough

The table was clean but it was a little bit sticky not sure if this is because of the way they cleaned it or is it supposed to be sticky but I don’t like my table to stick

Overall the chicken was amazing I will try it again it’s totally worth it I gave it a 4.6/5

Easy on pocket, a great dinning experience right in middle of downtown.

The decor is nice, busy atmosphere since the kitchen is around the dining area. I like that they added a sink to wash hands outside the washroom, though it does bother the people eating near that spot. Food is usually tasty so that keeps me coming back. The service can be a flip of a coin. They need better coordination in the kitchen.

Seems these guys are overhyped.the chicken was served dry and they missed the side dish ordered! I had to remind twice for them to cook it. And you have to pay in advance, so it makes you the hostage of the service. The place is popular, busy, but they should definitely work on the service and the quality of the food!

This was my first time. They lost my order and when i ask them about the food they said in 1 min after 20 min ask the guy he told me to ask another guy and the new guy told me same thing in few minutes. And another 20 min passed then the manager came asking what I order, when I showed them my receipt 1st time. Then the manager told me to wait 1min finally got the food. As a sorry the manager offered us a chocolate cake but he didn’t keep his word. Really disappointed. The manager was from kolkata didn’t get his name.

Before COVID-19 hit us, I worked at 2 College St.around the Corner from the Bay St.location. I miss my Nandos chicken with medium/hot Piri sauce and the terrific ambience and friendly staff at this location! Just wish Skip the Dishes or the restaurant itself delivered to Midtown, Yonge and Eglinton where I live!?

Came here Sunday night, not a busy night, maybe 6 more tables were taken. The whole staff were focused on their take out orders and Uber pick ups and we were forgotten! No offer of water or anything before food arrived and pretty much felt like eating at food court but you still tipped! (you pay first then you sit down)

Very disappointing visit to this Nando’s. I ordered the wings and chicken breast combo with medium spice and there was zero flavour…. It was also nowhere close to being grilled properly. Unfortunately I ordered as a takeout and was too far to bring it back. If you ware used to the standards of UK based Nando’s, then this will leave you very disappointed.won’t go back.

It's Nando's, so the food is great. They took a bit of time to serve us but the restaurant was full, so I don't blame them. Ambience is relaxed and comfortable.

I’ve been to few Nando’s and this is definitely the best so far. The staff is very friendly/helpful and attentive serving your table. Food is quick and consistently great.

Visiting Toronto from the UK, and was excited to see a Nandos here. Ordered my usual UK order as food to go (med spiced Chicken wings and lemon/herb chicken thighs) plus sides for the family, but was very disappointed - very little flavor and chicken was very dry and wasn't even grilled properly. All the family agreed it was nothing compared to the UK Nando's standards, so beware if you have experienced Nandos in the UK you will be very disappointed by this one. Woudnt go back.

Nando's is always a great choice for lunch and dinner. This store seemed well organized and cared about the hygiene measures against Covid. Delicious food!

Nando’s on Bay street has the freshest peri peri chicken from all the locations. Their interior is beautifully laid out in a rustic theme and the staff are super friendly, always checking on you with a smile. We ordered a whole platter for three it comes with a whole chicken with two sides and garlic bread. When ordering chicken I find that whole chicken is well worth the price and from the sides my favourites are their spiced rice, wedges and coleslaw. Their veggies are okay nothing special, I once made the mistake of ordering their mashed peas it tasted like air freshener. Ps: their sides are quite small so consider ordering extra or large sides if you’re really hungry and controversial opinion but I really like their grilled chicken liver, but my friends didn’t.

The place is very well decorated and even though they were super busy provided excellent service.

Love their lemon and herb chicken, especially when it comes hot off the grill.

Like their funky, colourful decor.

Not a fan of getting my own utensils.

Nando's never disappoints. Chicken is always juicy and tender. And on top of everything their sauces are epic. Highly recommended for chicken lovers. Best Portuguese chicken in town.

Ordered on Uber. Not only did it take 1 hour for a 2 kilometre delivery but half of our order was missing. Huge inconvenience

I honestly have loved Nandos for many years but since COVID, whenever we get takeout, there is ALWAYS something missing or wrong with our order at this location (we’ve ordered like 5 or 6 times in the past few years. Its really annoying and ruins the experience. My assumption is that they are severely understaffing the place or have a bad system for preparing orders. If you are going to order from this location, probably be sure to check the bag so that all of your items are there. The food is still tasty and comes at a good price

The food is simply Delicious. I get the Family chicken dinner. The mango & lime sauce is so good. Mash potatoes are on the smaller size portion wise so I suggest ordering an extra one if feeding a large family.

Had a very bad experience with the chicken here-It wasn't sauced at all- extremely dry! Service was really slow!

Worst Nandos ever! The wedges were horrible and the rice tasted weird! Chicken was fine. Not trying nandos in canada again!

Went here for the first time yesterday. Love the interior and seating design. Food was good too. I'd definitely would eat here again if I'm passing by this area. If anything I just hope there is ice at the fountain area (where you get your own drinks)

We had a delivery order that contained some incorrect menus items. We called to ask for a replacement order and a refund on the wrong items. Carle sent over the replacement very quick and included a free tart with an apology note. It was very much appreciated.

They didn't let us dine in due to some AC issue but its always good food.had to do take away.totally ruined the dine out plan

Food was just ok. Ordered skewers, were dry and not succinct and on somewhat juicer side, probably not rightly marinated sides were absolutely fine. Other people loved it more than I did.
Serving people were exceptionally nice, very nice, courteous and helpful.
I could easily add half a star more.

Nando's has unfortunately gone very far down in quality over lockdown. I had even been to this location a couple years ago, it was much better then! I suspect the rest of Nando's will be leaving Canada shortly

Thumb's up to Ken. He was doing a great job hosting, even if the restaurant was super busy. He took the time to update us on our waiting time inbetween giving takeout orders and explained how to order with the covid measures.

This is a great place to get a flame-grilled peri-peri style chicken. The chicken is tasty and the sides are savoury. We tested the chicken and it was a bit small but yummy. The service was amazing and the waiters were very friendly.

One of the best chicken i have ever ate in my life. Definitely would prefer to eat at this place if you are looking for a great meal.

I was here for a dinner with my husband ️ we ordered half chicken and double skewed chicken, both of them was great I highly recommend it

Made our order and forgot about it, lied about it. I waited 1 & 1/2 hrs for one damn chicken, when the place is 10min drive away.

Just picked up my meal and was surprised at how busy they were, however even in the busyness I was promptly greeted by a very polite young man who checked to let me know how long the wait would be, everyone was busy but very customer focused, soon I was walking out with my order.
I would definitely recommended Nando's 832 Bay street.

The chicken livers were crumbled to small pieces and overcooked. Probably what was left at The bottom of The tray. And cold. No liver taste left. The mashed potatoes were missing. The salad was blând and The garlic bread wS simple bread.

Great food but had a very poor experience with Uber Eats who deliver for them. They didn't arrive with the food and when I contacted Nandos, they contacted Uber for me and apparently were told that the driver "had issues". I am still trying to get my money back from Uber as Nando's would not refund. I don't blame Nandos except that they should have some sort of "insurance" from Uber that if the driver does not deliver, Nandos will send the food at no charge to the customer.

Good food and good service overall. I was once very disappointed that they replaced coleslaw with veggies without any notice (they were out of coleslaw). They should’ve called me and asked what I would like instead but I still eat here from time to time.

I ordered the chicken wrap with PERi-fries for lunch.
The chicken used in the chicken wrap was dry. Overall it was average. Not sure how they have so many 5 star reviews.
They also didn’t provide any napkins or utensils in the bag.

I ordered the whole chicken, 2 sides and garlic bread. The sides were crazy small only enough for 1 person. I ordered the lemon and herb chicken and it was not lemon and herb more like medium chicken. I spent 50 dollars on this and I will never order from nandos again. I could of fed 4 people for 50 dollars if I would of ordered from Swiss Chalet.

I visited this restaurant a while ago during summer, back when everything was open.

Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is cooked and served fresh, sides taste really good.

Awesome chicken with bbq aromas while I rushed back home. Miss the BBQ season, glad they have something like that here for the cold seasons.
Will have to try the different flavours they have to offer.
Pick up was fast with no hassle, unfortunately they forgot to put the garlic bread on the bag.: (

The manager/women working here who doesn't speak proper English needs to be replaced asap. She is a shameless liar who will lie straight to your face.

Food was good, staff were friendly and good on them for working hard during these uncertain times. Will definitely order from here again.

This place is an institution. I find myself craving the mango-lime chicken once every month or so. The chicken wings are double wings, so watch out for that, because you might end up with twice as much as you think you're getting! The peri peri fries are excellent. Everything is excellent. Can't wait to go back and dine in after covid is over!

Overpriced and small portions!
I ordered the 1/2 chicken peri with one side.
Did I just order way to much food? No!
Although tasty and pretty juicy, the chicken pieces were very small. Almost equal in size to what you would get from a 1/4 chicken at Swiss Chalet.
These mighty small chickens clucking away at Nando's, are more like Cornish hen or over sized quail.
My side of fries, were nothing to write home about. Small and no different in look and texture to what you'd expect from Harvey's takeout.
I asked for mayo for my fries, to which they said they only had spicy peri mayo. For an extra $1.60 I received a half filled small plastic container of the mayo. Not worth it! You might as well buy a bottle of the stuff.
All in all, my meal cost me over $22 with tip and tax. I was sure that ordering the 1/2 chicken would leave me overly stuffed.
On the contrary. I was actually still hungry after spending over 20 bucks here.
At the end of the day, sadly I won't be going back, unless Nando's changes the value for money factor.
Just not worth it to me. Far better spots in the area to choose from.

The dine-in experience, when the restaurant was still open, was what you expect from any Nandos, cheeky.

However, I absolutely detest being prompted to tip upfront before receiving any service. That is a fundamentally flawed practice that reeks of entitlement.

This place is amazing and very beautiful decor and seating. The staff ans servers are are very helpful and friendly. I also liked how the places is well sectioned out due to codid19. We felt very safe dining in and if you havent been here before, they have thr best chicken ever. I had the chicken slides for the first time and they tasted amazing.

Location is pretty nice, great interior. Place is pretty quiet and I thought it would be nice to take a dinner here. Pricing is a bit high. For some reasons my order got completely inaccurate: I got casa salad instead of caesar, chicken leg instead of chicken breast. Everything else was just ok, nothing special. In my opinion there are lots of places better then this around.

Took a while to be seated even though there were a lot of staff, only 1 of whom actually acknowledged me and was the person that got me a table. The chicken breast was also rather small and I didn't feel as full as I usually do when visiting their sister restaurants in the UK

I had a Cesar salad with chicken at Nando’s couple weeks ago. After couple hours of having a stomach ache, I got a food poisoning. Have no idea why that happened but all times that i have been before, i didn’t have any issues.

My friend and I walked in around 7: 15 pm, and the restaurant closed at 8. We were told that they had no chicken left. Imagine that! A Nandos with no chicken 45 mins before close. Their excuse was that its New years eve. Well New Years Eve is not even a statutory holiday and it was a good 45 mins before close so this was ridiculous. We were left disappointed with only choice of sides to get. Sangria had no brandy in it and they still charged us full price even without the brandy in it. The server was also rather rude. Overall disappointing experience and will not be returning to this location in the future.

Been to many Nando’s all around the world. This was the worst. Chicken was over cooked and bone dry. Spicy rice was mushy and also way over cooked. Toilet cleanliness subpar. Very disappointing.

Food is good as per normal Nando's quality. Restaurant is quite large and has large tables for big groups. Never had to wait for a table. Service is slow at times but overall still good.

Not a lot of street parking around. But you could get lucky and park right outside.

Wasn't really impressed. Maybe I had high expectations since Nandos has such a gpod reputation. The chicken was dry and not very flavorful on its own. Really need to add the sauces to taste anything.

Food here is dope. Chicken is always tender, juicy, and fresh. The sauces are amazing. The staff is always very friendly with you, just expect to wait some time for your order; it's worth it though. I usually do take out, but the interior of this place is so unique and cool that it really makes it feel much more upscale then it really is.

Terrible service. Food was good. I do not understand the idea of paying + tipping before experiencing the service and food. I don't think I had a server. I had to go get water from the bar. I had prepaid for my desserts but I had to wave my hands and pretend I was a hitchhiker to seek the attention of the staff. The manager I believe then noticed me and got it for me. After my meal I was thinking of taking my plates back to the dish pit and running them through the dish washer as I had done most part of the work to get my meal. Pathetic service.

This Nando’s is easily the best I’ve been to. Delicious food and great friendly staff and atmosphere. Definitely try the Piri Piri Caesar Wrap with their to-die-for Piri Piri Fries. Just a lot of really good food.

Great chicken, but terribly slow service- i see more than 6 people working and there doesnt seem to be any efficient workflow process established. My colleague and i order the same thing at the same time and my order comes 15 mins later than hers, which was also a 15 min wait.

Le poulet et le riz épicé sont très bons. Les amateurs d'épice ne seront pas déçus. L'ambiance est chaleureuse mais l'attente peut paraître un peu longue.

Good food at Nandos like always, but they service at this particular location was below par, it's sad because this location has a beautiful interior and is located in a prime location

Overall amazing experience. This nandos is nothing like the one in Mississauga, it's much better in aesthetic, the size of the restaurant, and the service. Would definitely go out again 10 out of 10. My only comment would be that the chicken in their skewers is 3 oz / grilled skewer which is not a lot of meat for the price charged. However once they brought the order to the table and we realized how little meat there was, we asked them to change it / upgrade it for another item, which they were very happy to do.

The garlic bread portions weren't alot tonight, but the food was great! Chicken and fries plus the coleslaw was amazing. I was hungry and so it hit the spot. Been to this location four to five times

Really like their peri crispy wings, periperi chicken especially with mango & lime sauce, peri chippers (potato chips)
If you’re a chocolate lover, their Nando’s kisses is a must try!
Service is amazing, and the place has a very warm and cozy atmosphere

Nando's is fairly well known and they have good food so not much different there. This place is sel-order so you order and then it gets brought to your table. The ambiance is warm because it gives more of a rustic pub vibe with all the wood decor and dim lighting.

The chicken is delicious and the garlic mashed potatoes were good. I found that the portion of the 1/4 chicken was small though and so was the wide. The atmosphere of the restaurant was good though. Upbeat. Our services was also good.
