This is the second time I've visited the Britannia (Mississauga) location, and in my order there was a mix of fresh and stale items in my garlic bread and fries. I ordered two chicken, one dry and half-burnt.
Horrible location to eat dinner! Told us to wait half an hr for food, didn’t arrive till an hr later. Staff were very rude and didn’t listen at all. Atmosphere was horrible! I Do NOT RECOMMEND at all! Don’t waste your time coming to this location!
We just came out of Nandos and had experienced the worst customer service we went as a family of 12 fries were all time worst the service was ZERO employees attitude was at worst there was a flight with another customer over sauce very bad not happy at all we have been going to this location for past 10 to 15 years not happy at all will not be going back here anymore
Super nice staff, checked in on us as we had a large family with small children. Offered to rewarm things for the parents that had a hard time eating with their young kids. Paid great attention to us.
I’ve been to this location many times so this was my first time experiencing this and I must say I’m very disappointed. The rice tasted like it’s been sitting out for a few days and when they brought it, it was overheating so I know it was 100% microwaved. They claimed it was fresh when clearly it wasn’t. I was told by the manager because I started eating the rice I could not get it replaced with another batch.
We were coming to Kitchener location before the pandemic hit and loving it there. After a long time, since Kitchener location was closed, we wanted to give it a try and dined in here. Food was average, which is okay. But the disappointing part was that a lot of customers were wondering around without their mask on and despite our concerns no one bothered to warn them. We told the staff twice, yet the response was nothing more than "Ok, we'll deal with it. " Yet nobody cared afterwards. Even when we asked a waitress if they let people go around without mask her response was "Yes we do. ". Definitely not feeling safe and being ignored as a customer here and won't come back anytime soon.
I am overly disgusted with the hospitality and customer service on my most recent visit here! I waited over 1 hour for an order that was placed via phone; upon arriving at the restaurant. I waited almost another 45m to pay and retrieve my meal. Despite the long wait, i respectfully asked the cashier "Simran" to give few sauces and condiments.she comes back with packet of forks/knife, 1 perri perri sauce, 1 ketchup. I insisted explaining to her that this meal feeds 4; please give more than that. She responded back that the owner is very CHEAP; there is a limitation on the amount of supplies they can give and she demanded if i want more SAUCE ie. Perri Perri i would have to purchase a bottle at a premium inflated price. This restaurant is very CHEAP and delivers ZERO customer satisfaction.
I waited forever for my meal. Once it arrived, the food was disgusting. My wrap was soggy and falling apart and the lettuce inside was rotted. My potatoes were ice cold and had to be exhanged
Not the greatest experience dining here. There was total confusion and no one was there to get people properly seated based on the numbers. Food was ok.
We ordered Full pack platter. As soon as we flipped the chicken, it was all burnt as shown in the picture. I addressed this with the server and she was way too rude. She said we make wings also and I can check if I can get fresh wings for you as it’s just the wings that are burnt. There was no apology at all. I told her I don’t want the wings but just wanted to bring this to your attention. I am never coming back to this location, where servers think we are here for free food. Worst experience!
Rip off. For $30.00 you get a whole chicken and fries for 1 person.your better off going to swiss chalet where you at least get 4 fries and buns for the same price.
The place was quite packed up even many of the customers were walking around without masks. We had to wipe the table ourselves again since we felt like the place was not clean at all. I don't recommend and we are never coming back again.
A bit pricey but always a nice experience to order from here. Specially when you want to keep track of calories. My usual order is any quarter chicken with casa salad, and sometimes rice when calorie limit allows it. Always packaged and delivered well and hot.
One of the worst Nando's experiences / locations. 45 minute wait for your food, and the food is cold. When asked about where the order was, it was just sitting on the ledge. Not much structure to their operation
Chicken was awesome. Caesar salad & peri fries were great. Service was great. Sorry but the Brussels sprouts tasted old and rotten. But I love that it is halal
Nando’s peri peri is an all time hit. I have been to this chain over 3 different countries and was never dissappointed.
I am a regular at this location but never had a bad exp in the past. But today this location disappointed me. Firstly the grilled chicken was dry and to top that they served it cold. Who knows how long they had kep this on the counter top after taking it off the grill. Will give a second thought before coming next time.
Have been trying to call for the last two days because they messed up my order. They don't pick up their phone, nor do they check messages as their voice-mail is full. Besides messing up my order, the food is not very good either for the price. They told me they ran out of corn (if only there were a grocery store in the vicinity where they could get more), however when I picked my order up other people received it. I decided to try their mashed potatoes which was a mistake. Tasteless, griddy, and chunks of uncooked potatoes chunks.mashed potatoes should have the consistency of rice Krispy's. Travel a bit further and go to the Dixie location as it is MUCH better than this place.
So far the worst customer experience. The girls at the front barely know how to even tackle a customer they dont have any ethics as i can say if someone is waiting 15 mins prior to someone they wont attend that customer that jump onto another one. Chanting in there native languages. Doesnt even feel like they had any kind of training.
Been here many times but For some reason, this time food was even more delicious. Service was great, got food on time. Servers accomodated us on patio although there was not much space. Great experience.
So far, Nandos Pakistan has the best tasting chicken. The food at this branch is still great, just not the best for patio dining cause the area is tiny and cramped. Definitely do not go if it's windy outside.
Nandos peri peri chicken is always good. This place had nice, quick and efficient service. The peri peri chicken was delish as always. And the fries as well. Usually in some places the Caesar salad croutons are soft and yucky, but everything about the salad was crispy and fresh. Thank you nandos!
Food is fresh, hot and just tastes amazing! The customer service is impeccable. I ordered takeaway the other day and they forgot to put my drink in so I called and immediately was given a coupon to get my drink and when I went to grab it, it was quick and easy! Definitely would recommend.
I’m comparing these guys to the UK.that being said they’re not that great. Service is good but the food doesn’t taste well. The peri peri flavour is bland. And the portion size seems small. The size of the bun was small, and the chicken inside was smaller. Will save my cravings for when I’m in the UK.
The chicken was good but the potatoes and veggies come in little tiny portions! Service was slow and we had to wait a long time for the food to come.plus the potato wedges came in cold in the bottom and hot on top and we even found a couple of normal fries in the bottom as if the plate was used for fries and had some left on there and they just added some hot wedges on top! I was a bit disappointed
Ordered a half chicken and 2 sets of double leg (med and hot). When I got home, found out that one of the box is 1 leg w/ lemon herb. I called in and the supervisor cannot credit the purchase and can only give me the 1 leg that I already paid + 1 side $2.50 value if I drive all the way back there. And no manager on site. Now I have to wait for the manager to call me tomorrow morning. Not a good customer service at all. This is very dissapointing.
Nando's food is awesome but this branch is actually running by Garbage ownership/Management. Really really bad customer service. Nando's higher management really needs to teach this branch A, B, C of customer service.
Chicken was great! Peri Rice and fries were really flavorless and needed to be spiced more and even though we went twice to exchange them the manager there didn't acknowledge the mistake and just stared us down. Love Nando's but probably not this location.
Visited Nandos on friday evening for a take out. I ordered the veggie sandwich and peri peri fries. Everything tasted great and the staff was friendly. The entrance to Nando's is right where you sit to wait for your food to arrive so it does get cold inside.
Food quality has gone down over the years. This location does not serve alcohol which is very convenient compared to others that are close by. Food is still ok, not bad.
I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always great. Service is fast and friendly, and you can usually get a table without a problem.
I highly recommend any of the chicken items and fries - haven’t tried their rice much. For those who are health conscious, the menu items with just chicken aren’t bad (just avoid too much extra sauce)!
Just dropped by for the first time to get take out, cashier (Zanita) talked to me with a very condescending tone that made me lose interest immediately. I hardly write reviews but it was such an awful impression.
I would give 0 star if possible. Worst services ever. Very bad experience. They are hurting the reputation of the brand. The head office should do something.
The chicken was nice and juicy and arrived to our table hot! The sides could improve though (rice was warm, and fries were undercooked), and the staff could be a bit more welcoming.
OMG! Could the service be worse? I would never ever ever go back again. Barely get any help from there, and the waitress on the counter had the worst attitude ever. The waitress even asked us to move to different table during we were having the meal. FK IT. Sry for the swearing. Just couldn't help it. Worst experience!
Went the today with my son.got half chicken that was burnt completely on the grill from one side.smartly they plated it in a way that they kept the overcooked burnt side facing down on plate.without even taking a bite i returned the plate and they got me a replacement within 5 secs, this time it was againt burnt and to hide that this time they used the mild nandos (thats looks a bit more creamy) to cover the chicken so that u cant really see its burnt.
I have posted a picture as well dont know how to add the pic with this review. When i complained they said its not the same chicken (it wasnt) but still it was also burnt and they just tried to hide it with the sauce on the top. Dint want to argue as i normally dont at restuarants.usually i love nandos and but this location was disappointing today. Get someone who know how to use the grill.even the wings i ordered for my son were burnt and black from one side completely. Iwe just ate what we could.not good from nandos at heartland
Reliable service, excellent food and conveniently located. I visit here at least once a week and is a great place to stop by for a quick lunch/dinner or dine in with family/colleagues.
Perfect grilled chicken and awesome fries. The only dislikes are branch is too small, always crowded, dirty washrooms and food is not hot (1 out of 3) all the times.
Food is not amazing like the Dixie location but still fine. They just need to understand that being in rush is the guest need the order quickly not to serve other guests before giving the busy one
