Food is tasty, and they compensated the extra long wait time (total of 40 minutes for two orders without sides) with a free order. It was quite busy. Also, the kitchen is open, and I could clearly see a staff member wolfing down some food while working with utensils in his hands. Not a tight ship

I wish i could give this location 0 Star, but unfortunately i dont have that option. This location closes at 10 pm on Sundays so we reached there around 9: 20 pm. My wife was standing in line for 15 mins because there was another big family placing their orders. Once they were done; my wife's turn came around 9: 35ish. The cashier told her "ooh i am sorry we dont have any chicken left"
My wife is like "i stood in the line for 15 mins, You took the orders from the customers before us and i am juat after them, plus you guys also wiped out the table and made it ready for us and now you guys are telling us you dont have any chicken left". The manager said "oh this happens sometimes that we run out of chicken early because she up sold all the items on the menu to the customers before us". Come on guyz you are running a big restaurant which is located at the heart of scarborough and ran out of chicken at 9: 30 pm? Or you guyz wanted to leave early so dont want to serve anyone after 9: 30 pm! I go there every month but i was very dissapointed this time. I hope the owner sees my message and take actions.

Haven't had chicken this good in a very long while, they also have the amazing hot sauce. Strongly recommended Good job guys.

Terrible experience. No acknowledgement of our presence by staff/waiters.didn't even get a glass of water and neither were napkins provided. Food was pedestrian and had to be doused with peri peri sauce (which is incredibly salty) to be edible. Never again.

Just ordered from Nandos via Uber Eats. The order goes through and it's being prepared. Then all of a sudden a message popped up saying that the order was cancelled. I contacted Nandos and was told by the obviously inexperienced child who answered the phone that they did not cancel the order. It was done by Uber Eats. She even said they don't have any control over cancelations. Hmmmm.that didn't sound right. I then proceeded to contact Uber Eats. They said they didn't cancel anything it was the merchant. Wow. This girl plain out lied to me. I contacted them again and she did a 180 when I confronted her about her saying it was Uber Eats who cancelled the order. She then proceeded to put me on to the manager. (This girl should be fired. She clearly doesn't know what she's doing). The manager comes on the phone. He too sounds like an inexperienced child. Eventually he finds the issue why the order was cancelled. They ran out of ingredients for one of the items I ordered. I then began to school this kid on what customer service should be like. I plainly said isn't it in your best interest to contact the customer making the purchase and let them know "hey we don't have such and such we would have to cancel that part of the order". No! They said nothing and cancelled the entire order without notifying the customer. To hell with the customer. We don't need their business as the place is reopening and we will be busy once again. This is the last time Nandos at Kennedy Commons will see a cent from me. They are clearly unorganized and have no sense of customer service.

These guys have the best chicken I've ever hade in my whole life. If you are not into spicy stuff choose the lemon & herbs sauce.

So they messed up the order. I asked for a refund of 2 bottled cold drinks and they said the refund will have tax. I was shocked but they made me pay extra for their own mistake. Stay away

Staff is very friendly, great customer service. Food is excellent. I do enjoy the roast chicken lemon-herb well done. The taste is great. My favorite go to for chicken.

Super duper nice decor. The restaurant literally has. Designs hanging off the ceiling. The vibe is stupendous. Invigorating even.
The chicken was good! Perfect amount of all the flavors, both spicy sauce and hot sauce went well with everything. I would recommend to anyone.
Definitely a great second option for when Jollibee customers are standing in the parking lot.

Absolutely awful service, i ordered something through their website and when i showed up to pickup 30 minutes later they told me i had to pay $80 extra and that it was a glitch in their system. I dont think i shouldve been the one to deal with their issue

I don't usually leave bad reviews but our experience here was absolutely terrible. I placed an order online at 5 pm for a 6pm pick-up. The food wasn't ready until 7: 40! And once we did get our food, the fries were cold, the peas were undercooked and all the leaves in our salad were wilted. Super disappointing.

Don’t like giving negative reviews but this was comically bad! Waited almost 2 hours for cold food that was either undercooked or burnt? ! No system for safe pickup which resulted in disorganized crowd out front. Looked like Uber Eats, Skip the Dishes, etc orders were being prioritized over web or phone orders. We’ve enjoyed this Nando’s location in the past but now never again!

I ordered through the phone they said 10-15 minutes, came in not ready paid they asked for an extra 5 minutes. Then I saw the bag on top of the counter ready and waited 10 more minutes hopefully someone will notice and give it to me but this was one of the worst customer service experience. When you ask her why no body gave it to me she’s like my supervisor will talk to you, and the supervisor is like I’m sorry let me give you a card which I refused. To Nando’s management, your staff needs training on how to be efficient and not playing with your phones while doing your job.

We called around 8pm nd asked patios open, they said its open upto 9.we reached at 8.40, tbey refused to give patio table nd said, we are closed.this is second time.people are so rude.we came from long distance by believing their words.

I’ve placed a take-out order from this restaurant, but when I got back home I realized that some items were missing in the bag, I contacted to the restaurant for a refund, they told me that we are going to mail a voucher for you instead of refunding, I said ok gave them my mailing address. It has been almost a month, and I have been keep checking my mailbox, and didn’t receive any voucher so far. Also, e-mailed them several times about the issue, they are not responding to my emails. I wouldn’t suggest Nando’s Kennedy Commons to my friends.

Love that peri-peri. But Management has changed and so have the prices. Now the customer service is bad and the prices getting too high. Definitely reconsidering ordering from here in the future.

Been going here since this location opened. They cannot handle crowds during this pandemic. Service has gone down as well as the food. Some workers here think they're the owners and have too much attitude

Firstly, I like show my appreciation to all the staff at that location, they work hard, and it is never easy with or without COVID-19.
I like to point out there might be a better solution to keep all of us safe, staff and customers. At the time I was there, there were no observance of 5 persons. There were 15 plus people standing respectfully apart. All food couriers should not come in. There should be a Nando’s staff at the front door to collect phone numbers and names for food pick up. Once the food is ready, the staff will text us the customers. You need to take the leadership to make your work flow better.
I love the taste of the chicken. You need to pivot when 100% of your business is take out pickup, you just need to change to fit yourself into that business model.

I wish you all well.

Do not order here! I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken on the side which cost an extra 7 dollars and got 4 small chicken pieces FOUR. Also had feta cheese on it.who puts feta cheese on a Caesar Salad? For a restaurant that is "famous" for their Portuguese chicken this was absolutely terrible! I am beyond dissatisfied with Nando's especially their portion size, how can you possibly charge people this amount for what you give? A complete rip off.do not recommend!

I’ve previously worked here only for 3 weeks. The crew was AMAZING, I personally thought the assistant managers, and managers were pretty mentally draining to be honest.

Chris, when I was having my mental breakdown on work site he helped me out, and Mark helped me doing so much around there. Ashley is such a great person to be honest, great person to work with. The crew is amazing.

And Simone, she helped me out when I tried recovering from the conversation that took place with Jay, she’s someone I would definitely recommend working with.

Chelsey, even tho I might have my differences, she was so calm with me during training, I appreciate you giving me so much of information and knowledge. I really loved working with you.

Yeah I personally feel like, since I am NOT working here anymore, I think Jay, and Aaron can do a MUCH better job.

I personally feel like Jay put me under the bus when he told me to change in one night and prove to him that I can stay at Nandos.

That was majorly very unprofessional, you guys have very productive crew, but Aaron and Jay need to know how to take things more well.

The only reason why I had a great time working there because the crew treated me like family, and I appreciate it so much. But again, Jay and Aaron you can do way better.

I personally feel when I got terminated, I felt relieved, because I did feel very mentally drained in the first 3 WEEKS of my training, even THO, I put my best effort out of what I could, I am not perfect, neither is anyone else. I would really appreciate if you can stop expecting your crew members and your trainees to be pitch perfect?

Another thing, it really doesn’t matter to me, how the Assistant managers or the managers reputation get put into effect because I could care less because I don’t work there anymore.

I personally feel like jay was trying to give me constructive criticism, but I don’t appreciate you trying to compare my work trial to another trainee that just started, I have a disability, and because you didn’t want to work with the Employment Program that asked to work with you, they could’ve disclosed my information.

Otherwise, I really love the crew, love you guys, once more, Aaron & Jay, improve in your communication skills, you might see people improve better.

Waited 20mins for takeout as they were busy with call in orders and Uber/Skip etc. My first time ordered a whole chicken, large wedges, large vegetables and large mash. All the sides $7.19 each and the chicken $18 something. Enough for a family of 4 no? Well not really the wedges were in a large cardboard container and the mash potatoes and vegetables were in a container that was half the size. I actually called because I thought it was a mistake? Apparently the order was correct, Nando's your food was tasty but portions should be better especially the vegetables.come on and large should be large not different versions of a large size something your cashiers should let their customers know when seeming to place an order for a family as I did say it was my first time.

The staff here are absolutely amazing. Something was messed up with my order and without hesitancy the young server asked what it was and replaced it without question. They were all so kind and helpful.
