Their food was amazing. It tasted heavenly. It didn’t make me miss my hometown food at all. They were also very fast, and was very affordable for everybody.

Best South Indian food take away, accessible and have multiple choice of delicious ready to go with. Must try daal vada.

This place is the best. All things are fresh and I am amazed how they have kept the prices so low, when every restaurant across Canada is increasing the prices without even making services better. Love this place and will be recommending to everyone.

I bought veg koththu samosa and vada. Vada and samosa are not bad, koththu is just garbage sorry to say this.

Bought food from this place on Wed, Apr 19. It is not fair to judge their food since I have not tried everything yet. Too bad they don't offer samples because as a non-South Asian I had NO IDEA of the foods they offer (except the samosas which were great). One of the items (I call it Indian cheese bathed in curry) was okay but the 2nd item I could not pass - extremely spicy so I had to throw it away. I am still willing to come back and try some other stuff but I hope staff improves the way the take orders from customers. When we came we didn't know where the line-up was and everyone was talking at the same time. Despite of this I am still willing to try their food since I am a big fan of South Asian food.

A bit ago my fiancé and I waited for 45 minutes for our Kothu Roti. They forgot about us, but kept on saying five minutes. I used to go to their old location and they had great food.

My friend referred this place to me. I liked the place pretty much when i first visited it.
But it’s my 4th visit today and i am always getting cold food (even sambar with dosa was cold.)

Nanda has become worse now. The wait time is really long and the staff are so slow.
One time I ordered 4 rottis and other stuff. Came home, rotti missing. Then I called, and went later on around at night, and the manager lady was like, "here it is. We missed it". Are you kidding me. But she gave me the rotting, didn't charge.
Then the staff, called me from line, and I was waiting. She disappeared into the back. When I asked, she said, sorry I had to take care of something. Then another day, this staff called me, and I was waiting. She started to serve another lady. I was very upset. I told the manager lady. The excuse the girl said was "you both look alike". How can that be. I'm average height, and the other lady was short. She had shorter hair than me. Her skin color is much different from mine.
When they were in the plaza, the service and food was good. Now since they moved to the new location, both have gone down.
Snacks are smaller and price is high. I hope you get some extra help.

I have been going there for years, great food and friendly service, never been disapointed!

We catered food from Nantha’s for my daughter’s wedding, and for about 4 more events related to her wedding. Their food was very tasty and was enjoyed by everyone. Their price is extremely reasonable. Both the vegetarian and non vegetarian choices are awesome. I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed. Their portion size is also reasonable. Thanks for making our guests very happy about the food. Hope more people will get to experience your catered food.

I go here often to buy their spring rolls and samosas but they do offer a wide variety of food other than that. I find that they have more selections in the morning or during the day than coming in at night, since they close late. They have hot meals as well from biryani, to curries. They even have desserts and bread. They used to be located in the plaza where the Eggsmart is, but they now moved to Bridlewood Mall (Finch/Warden). They have a separate entrance. Given that the plaza is big, there's always a spot of parking. And you can also check on other stores of the mall if you want too.

The employees here are nice and helpful. The place is clean.

Bought food from this place for the first time, koththu roti was good, but the portion size was very small, i am not a big eater, but it was bearly enough for me, the chicken curry I got was not good, hoping to try other stuff as well

Food is very cold.i bought couple of snacks.its not worth of price.seeni sambal bun $1.50 inside the bun its only 1/2 teaspoon of seeni sambal.mutton rolls are very small and cold.

Food is decent but they need to manage lineups better. A lot of people would cut in and the people behind the counter would serve them over those in line.

Good takeout food from the island of Sri Lanka and the price has increased but still reasonable. The line up is long and wait is not quick as customers are slow in ordering and only two order takers. Food is authentic and good taste.

Ususally my go to place for samosa's but now they changed their price to 2 samosas for $1. I feel like their samosas have gotten smaller too and it being priced at 50 cents a piece is absurd. It's safe to say I won't be going back to this place any time soon.

Long long long wait for no reason.
Lots of staff but still preparation is slower than snail.
I joined in the wait line at 10: 30am and my turn to order was at 11: 09 am and picked my food at 11: 36 am

Used to frequent their old location a long time ago, in the plaza south of Bridlewood Mall. Tried their samosas today. It's crispy and better than before. The prices are okay. The other places we frequent now are cheaper, but Nantha Caters is more conveniently located in mall with Metro, ShoppersDrugMart, public library, many retailers. Finch bus and Warden bus stops at this mall. There's also lots of free parking and no wait time today. Maybe it's only busy on weekends? They also have long business hours, 7a to 11p. Yes, we would buy again.

Always had good experience here. Its my regular takeout while i was in scarborough 2 years back. Went to scarborough last week and took some takeout. Had a good experience again. Their food are worth the price you pay.

I have been coming for couple of days and the amount of time to get an order, especially Kothurotti and Biriyani is 30-40 min. And in the line to get into the queue to ask for an order is 15 min. Its like almost an hour of wait to get my order. Ridiculous!

I wont be coming here again. Its a waste of time.
Most people waiting for the order get these items get disappointed by the service. I thought its only one time thing, no it is not, its everyday now. Can’t believe Nantha is doing this.

Very customer friendly and hard working employees. I feel like to visit there everyday because of the warm smile and welcome I receive from each of your employees. The other day we missed an item that we paid for and one of the employee, Niveda (I guess the name is right) recollected the order and made sure that we leave the store only with the food. Thank you Niveda!

Guess the fact taht they have moved into a larger space is testament to the quality and portion of food.only downside if any is a requirement for a more efficient method of managing traffic flow within the premises.service and quality is very good.

One of the best South indian foods. Very affordable price. Friendly customer service. It might get crowded based on the timings of the visit. Take out only.

Whenever i come here the short eats are always hot. One favour though. There is hand made samosas and machine made ones.please keep the lady for hand made samosas, doing that only! Those samosas are lifeeee! It's unfortunate you don't have them everyday

Only had the yellow bread from a friend that bought here. That bread was some next level flavours. Can't rate the other food because I haven't tried but that bread slapped. It looks like yellow baguette with some sugar sprinkled on top. $2 for two pieces. I would definitely eat that again.

What a shame. Excited about their relocation (I saw promising reviews), I was ready to eat some great Sri Lankan food. BUT WHEN I FIRST BIT INTO IT, IT WAS COLD. It was sad because the food is spiced well (i’m weak so it’s too spicy for me) and the soya beans and mutton roll taste great. Unfortunately, the food was cold which was undesirable to say the least.

Regardless, I think they are worth it for the price if their food wasn’t cold. I got 2 mutton rolls, rice and fish curry paired with dahl and soya beans, all for 11 dollars. They have decent proportions, good spiced food and friendly and patient service. I hope this was a fluke and I’m willing to come back again if it is.

From the moment you arrive in that restaurant the stuff gives you a good feeling. Very congenial waiters, it is a lovely place to go out with your friends or with your date.very good food, talented chief cook and stuff, decent cost and professional service. Warmly recommended.

The food was absolutely amazing. I hired Nantha's for our wedding during Covid time's and Nantha's hand packed everything in an orderly, and extravagant way. After our event, countless guests messaged us about how amazing the food tasted and how big the portions were. The service and food was beyond excellent and we are SO happy we chose Nantha's!

The old lady working there wears disposable gloves in the front. But when she was refilling a display tray with fish buns she picked them up with her bare hands. The same hand she used to process cash transactions, everyone knows how filthy money is and especially during covid times it's just way too unsanitary and risky.

This review was based on the last visit. Visited on Sept. 29,2020, purchased masala dosa and other items. The dosa was very dry and tasteless. The chutney, supposedly, I don't know what it was though, had minimal traces of coconut, it was literally disgusting and I got sick after eating that thing. It was my first time buying the masala dosa from this establishment and it would be my last as well.
The customer service is usually ok. I enjoy other items I purchase at this place. Specially rice and curry combos. Mind you I have been an occasional customer at this location for over a decade and it was the first time I encountered an experience like this. This place still great.

Been here a few times to buy food and always very happy with the fresh delicious dishes, place is clean and staff are friendly. Always busy but great food. Very inexpensive and good quality.

I get takeout here on a regular basis. Their roti is one of the best in the city and all their dishes are done very well! Definitely my favourite sri lankan takeout place! Always busy so be prepared to spend several minutes there before getting your food. Worth the wait! They make a good Masala Dosai as well.

I went there with my friend who had been here before. We tried Kuthu prantha, a sri lankan dish with chicken and prantha pieces mixed. I loved it. I have never eating something of this sort and the most surprising thing is the price. It was only 7.50. Wow. This place has reasonable price. Would definitely go there and try mew items.

I live in the area so happen to try the samosas often. They are yummy but was disappointed this time since they weren't fresh. I guess i need to be lucky to enjoy fresh ones.

Decent, supermarket feels at this bakery not the cozy fresh ones I’m used to but other than that the food’s got decent spices.

I go to Nanthan minimum 2 times a week, Nantha Food is really good, please keep up the quality, as you guys are one of my go to place.

Downside is waiting in line for long time, specially to get just slice of bread.which is not acceptable at all, please improve your customer service and wait time.

I see lots of improvement on servicing the line up. It been a long time but visited today was totally different experience. (In a good way) customer service never been a issue here.

Delicious and reasonable Sri Lankan and South Indian food. It is just grab and go. Service is quick and it really has a high footfall, either on weekend or on weekdays.

The menu and service were beyond our expectations. We really loved the ambience of this spot. Awesome place to take my family out for lunch.

Great deals on the food! Tasty! It can get very busy and there is no organized queue/line up for ordering.don't wait to be called upon because you might be standing there for hours! Be assertive and walk up to the counter and get the staff's attention and (politely/respectfully) tell them what you want.

Tasty Food for absolute reasonable price. Love the place, Srilankan and Indian style food freshly served. Its a take out only place, best available in and around Finch & warden. Well recently they have changed the setup which has made them so disorganized and this is the only downside. You actually don't know who is waiting and who is inline to order. I wish they could tweak it better. Considering its a crowded spot, they need to organize and manage it well. 4 stars only for the recent change.

I am grateful this takeout is fairly close to me or else I would not get my Sri Lankan fix. I see those women work tirelessly to bring us good, tasty food. We live in a country which is abundant with food. Places like this bring us a taste of our homeland like a warm hug on a cold day.

Just be conscious of how you hold your spot in line as it's a freefall and theres no proper order enforced. Decent food at decent price

Tasty and quality Eelam foods when they started. Now prices are raised quality is getting bad. And the customer service is not as earlier.
