NATIONAL CREDIT RECOVERY INC

This is a debt collection company. My previous company went bankrupt, and I also left that company. The company owed some phone bills, and for some reason, this debt collection company keeps calling me every day! I've explained that it's not related to me and that I've resigned, but they continue to call me. If I ever need debt collection services, I'll contact them because they are very diligent and responsible. But.they are really annoying right now.

I've been receiving calls from collection agencies about twice a day ever since I joined FreedomMobile. It appears they recycle old phone numbers, leading to ongoing calls from various collection agencies meant for the previous owner. Even though I've informed them that the person they're looking for isn't connected to the new line, the calls have continued for nearly two years, which is quite frustrating.

Horrible experience! Tried to get info on my paid off account from a male customer representative.he talked over me,
Accusatory, arrogant. Abusive yelled at me would not let me speak to the point I was in tears and I had to hang up. I didn't get my question or any resolve. I hope that somebody goes through these calls and fires people with the abusive attitudes.

I had a wonderful experience with two very knowledgeable employees Andrew Rohit and Vanessa Mucci. My matter was delt with kindness and compassion and completed to everyone's satisfaction. If you have to deal with this credit companIy I recommend you talk to either of these two wonderful people to help you.

Scammers. I don't owe anything to anyone and don't have anything on my credit report. They keep calling me from random numbers saying I have personal business matter. Don't bother calling them back.

Scammers and try using the most ridiculous tactics. These scammers contacted me for someone else’s account and Julia disclosed all of an individuals info without verifying and keeps calling me. It’s becoming comical.

Wrong individual, keep calling and notify them each and every time this is not the individual your looking for. Does not remove information, very frustrating!

How do you get them to stop these daily fraud calls? I've blocked every number they call from. Very frustrating

I wish if could give them less than One Star, Very Very Rude Customer Support, they should be Removed Totally.
Call 4 times with No Replay, even One Customer Support Hung Up mean without knowing what was my Issue.

Received numerous calls for a relative of my husband.
Called back to have our phone number removed.
Agent was extremely rude and ultimately hung up.
This type of conduct is completely unprofessional and uncalled for.
Seeing numerous comments like this with no response or action to correct.
This company should be investigated.

BEWARE OF THE SCAMS.

NATIONAL CREDIT RECOVERY INC (NCRI) was harassing me daily, claiming that I owed equipment and money to Rogers, whom I closed my account with over 15 years ago and my credit report is clean. I requested documentation but, of course, they couldn't come up with it. I ended up having to file a complaint on 03/01/23 with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The BBB made several efforts to contact NCRI but they failed to respond. Around 03/20/23, NCRI stopped contacting me; however, it appears they sold my contact information to another fraudulent operation who is now contacting me, leaving messages with just a reference number.

Keeps calling me daily including weekends, the law states there only allowed to call 3 times a week, the interesting part is I owe nothing to know one, i will never answer there calls nor return there calls so f.off and stop calling me.this has been going on for months, give it up i owe nothing to know one. SCAM SCAM SCAM. YOUR SCAM IS NOT WORKING GIVE IT UP.

The people there are special in the head, they cant confirm what amount is owed, they dont know how to send an email, and they make you sit on phone in silence instead of informing you whats going on

Zero stars! And I will do everything in my power to shut this place down! There is never ever any excuse to be blatantly rude to people. Our son had a $45 unpaid hospital bill for an ambulance service. We never received a bill or a letter from the hospital. The hospital sent the bill to the wrong address. We moved 6 years ago! Also not the address on my sons OHIP card! Naturally the billing system can not access updated information through the OHIP data base but they can sell a book of debt to a low rolling company such as NCR. I will be taking this up with my local MPP, Doug Ford and I will push until companies this unprofessional can not access health care books of debt from government funded facilities. If you don’t have to decency to introduce yourself on a call nor act in a civil manner when being asked a simple question, then you have no business engaging in debt collection for a health care facility in Ontario or anywhere else in Canada for that matter!

Avoid having this company profit off of any book of debt! Use anyone to collect your debt but National Credit Recovery Inc!

After a civil conversation with the finance department at the hospital, it was confirmed they indeed had sent the bills to our old address of 6 years past. The bill was paid to the finance department through their Moneris payment terminal.

To NRC Inc. I say what a horrid low rolling unprofessional group of absolute morons. Smarten up!
B shame on the hospital Hamilton Health Science for not asking a speaking patient or his mother over a course of a 12 hour stay what their current address and phone number is! The world can be an ugly place there is certainly no need to make it uglier without reason or merit!

Can we send zero stars? Keep calling me and don't leave a message. When I get to call them no one is there to pick up. People have jobs. We leave our phone in the office. Don't call during working hours.

I have been trying to get a refund back since Oct 29th, which is over 3 weeks. I paid into an old account (which has been paid off) on accident, and they will not refund you. Make sure you delete your payee for this company, Terrible customer service.

This company is threatening to forcibly break into my home over another person's debt. Calling them about this results in no solution but additional threats. Beware who you are dealing with.

There is an agent who works here named Cory Gallagher who deserves commendation. He handled my file courteously and I never felt disrespected or harassed. He was actually rather friendly. We made quite a reasonable arrangement that allowed me to (VERY) slowly pay the debt to suit my low income.

Presumably, none of Cory's clients are thrilled about the fact that they have to deal with him, but, you know, fair is fair. I agreed to a deal that I didn't honour, so I ended up in collections. Cory Gallagher made the process as painless as possible.

I'm giving this review 5 stars not because I had a blast using this company (lol), but because relative to the industry (yeah this isn't my first rodeo), its agent did a great job.

Very rude an ignorant! I was receiving phone calls for someone I didn’t even know! When I called to say it was the wrong number they had been calling an these calls were becoming very annoying, the man answering was the most ignorant person I have ever talked to! Raising his voice at me an telling me I had no right to call to say “wrong number “ calls were annoying me!

I would give no stars if it was possible. This place has been calling me for YEARS. YES, YEARS! About some crystal buffalo person I have no relation to. I can’t figure out how to end it, they call me approx. 3 or 4 times in a busy day. Absolutely annoying.

These people call me almost every day and they are super rude! The guy wouldn’t even let me talk and kept telling me “listen to me I’m trying to help you out! ” And I kept telling them i wants to make sure they were a legit company before I give them any information because I heard they were a scam

Useless customer service. The payment link doesn’t have the correct formatting for debit card payment. Good luck getting your money back in time if you are one of their customers

This is the WORST Collection Company I have ever encountered. The Staff is Super RUDE! With that attitude they will not collect a dime. Quite the unscrupulous business. Do not use them for your collections! Consider yourself warned.

This company has been calling and harassing me for six months, yet I don't owe money or have a loan, and the name on their bill isn't me. STOP CALLING ME

Received a "collections notice" from this company on behalf of PayPal. Tried calling National Credit Recovery Inc.in order to see if it is real, could not get anyone to help me. Called several times, was passed around several times. Was even once sent to a line with dead air on the other end. Terrible service. Called PayPal and they told me they haven't sent me any collections notices. Is this company legit?

Rude and unprofessional. They called for a month on my business line, never leaving a message. Today they finally left a message looking for a totally different person, someone who wouldn't have had this number for six and half years. Had they left that message a month ago, this could have been sorted quickly and without the rudeness I dealt with today in pointing out the shortcomings of their process.

Constant harassment and spam looking for someone I never heard of. Doesn't care at all that they have the wrong person

I don't have any debts in collections these people obviously bought something that was outside of the statute of limitations whatever you do do not give these people your name or agree to any identifying factors because that engages you in a new contract with them meaning they can reinstate the debt. Call all you want you won't get a dime from me

If I could give NO star I would. I am 21 years old and have been bothered abt an “Outstanding Rogers bill” since I was 16. Literally 5 Years, These people are relentless and now they’re sending Text messages. I used to worry all the time till I spoke to family members, if it was that serious they would have came to my house and personally sued me by now. Just relentless frauds.

So I see the hospital I was as is giving my info away to suspicious companies, that's our taxes at work people

This place is a scam don't give personal information.
They find old debts that has been resolved from years ago and try and say you still owe to get money out of you. " It's not true" This company has an investigation on them now with all the complaints. Just block the calls and ignore them.

Scam! Sent a fraudulent collection letter to me attempting to collect $5,000 on behalf of Paypal. Called Paypal, they know NOTHING about any of what the collection letter was attempting to do.
Reported to police and CAFC.

They keep calling me. So I called them, heard their name and looked it up. I got suspicious after seeing the reviews. I called and spoke with someone at PayPal and they said THEY ARE NOT IN CONNECTION WITH THIS COMPANY. IGNORE OR BLCOK THEIR CALLS. THEY'RE JUST TRYING TO TAKE MONEY FROM YOU.

Got a letter saying I had an outstanding balance to Paypal. Going through all my transactions it didn't add up, all my accounts are in the green. Scam.

Consumers be forewarned about this business because it has charges against it laid by the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Services. There are two charges in fact, in the amount of $2,000. Go to ministry website to view complaints against this company.

Scam, scam, scam, scam! They call you about you going into collection for a debt. They have all the info about you even your friends numbers. Be careful! Pictures are the letters they send to your home address

Have been harassing me for a debt that doesn't exist. When I called to have my number removed the person on the phone was super rude. If I get another phone call from them I will drive out of my way to their office and ream them out personally.

It LITERALLY took them 2 years. 2 years to report to the credit bureau! After countless calls and nothing in return, 2 years people, 2 years! What a disgusting company, and horrid people. Also Debrah and Jamie are some of the most atrocious and rudest people I've ever had to deal with and I work customer service!

They keep calling me asking for a person I've never even heard of and no matter how many times I explain this to them for some reason their tiny brains cannot process this information. Almost every single day I get calls from them it's beyond ridiculous and almost harassment at this point.

Unprofessional conduct of this firm. Threats and harassment techniques. No possibility of resolution or a reasonable conversation.

DO NOT send these thiefs any money. They will get information about a real debt you have and then threaten you to pay them. I fell for this scam myself after sending them $38, luckily for whatever reason they didn't accept the e-transfer and i was able to get my money back. No matter how worried you are, DO NOT SUPPORT THESE CRIMINALS.

Don't fall for them-scam company that tries to fish for your info by tricking you. Sent me a letter and said I owe a balance to Paypal when it fact I did not, called Paypal directly before talking to these scammers and they said to ignore this collection agency, as Paypal does not send collections outside their own department. Always do your research!

They agreed to make a settlement on my old car loan but and show it as paid but never kept their word. Don't trust these guys. I hope you're able to read the reviews before you pay anything

The insolent nature of the call I received from them, has set the tone for our relationship moving forward. I requested she 'shut up' and refrain from talking over me after trying to get a word in edgewise for over 3 minutes of a lecture, that I would have tolerated during my years in the Military. If you want respect, you need to show it first.

Shut this company down.they don't remove your number from the list when you ask, regardless of which medium you use to ask - i've sent emails, left voicemails multiple times over almost 2 years and they're still harassing me looking for another person.

Don't trust this fraudulent company. I sent them a etransfer for a old debt 8 months ago with the terms that it would be removed from my credit report. I've paid the debt in full and it still shows on my credit file. They done answer since making the payment

This group is shady as can be! Somehow they get a hold of REAL old debts. They then tell you they have a "SPECIAL OFFER" where you pay 50% and repair your credit.

This is simply untrue and dealing with this company actually puts records back on your credit history and does nothing for you.

I cannot tell if this company is an outright scam or a shady way for companies to get some money back and do nothing for the customer.

They are harassing us with fake phone numbers which they keep changing. They call a person that don’t even live in our household. Therefore they are considered as scammers and need to be reported.

For the past 3 years + I have received calls from these people looking for a person named Maria. I have told them on many occasions there is no Maria here and yet they keep calling. Very unprofessional business and disrespectful people, I have been called a F-ing lier and a jackass by one of them after a long exchange of words.

They just call random people to scare them to pay money. I called them to let them know that I am not the person they are looking for, since they left me a message with a name I don't recognize. The guy was rude and obnoxious, he told me that I am the person and I have to pay immediately, kept talking non-stop, didn't even let me explain. A typical scam company!

I don't owe anything to anyone, I don't even know who the person is that they are looking for, I've called these people and explained this three times. Three times they hung up on me. They've promised not to call again but they do anyway, this time these losers can deal with my lawyer, I'm not playing with these creeps.

They won't stop calling me and asking me to give my information when they are the ones to call me

This place has been harrasing me for a debt with Roger that doesn't exist. Today I blocked their phone number and suddenly received a text message from them. The only 2 time I answered my phone they were horrible and I did confirm with rogers that I dont own them anything. They still won't stop calling multiple a day sometimes a few minutes a part. Now getting text message. This is ridiculous.

I received multiple calls from this company addressed to absolutely different person. I tried to block it, but they still kept harassing. I called the company, but the agent refused to listen and hang up. I called the second time and it seems like second agent remove my number form their spam list.

These people are scammers. I've got letters and phone calls claiming I owe $1000 to Rogers. When I called Rogers they say I dont owe them anything. They call me with different numbers from different provinces. Dont listen to them.

This is a scam website. I received so many emails and calls from this site asking for my information. All they knew was my name and phone. And they were rooting for more information and details and Then I got an email that told me that I owe money to Rogers. After calling Rogers they said I have never missed a payment. This is a scam website, I have no idea how to report it but I really hope people like these are charged and they learn a lesson

Someone from this company called my work and left a message for me, when I called them back and Identified myself he immediately was rude with me, saying I owed Rogers $2k. I told him alls he has to do is provide me with some proof as I have no problem paying my debt, (knowing I have no debt with Rogers) he start yelling at me again. These people are SCAMMERS preying on innocent people. BEWARE!

This company wont stop emailing me, it said I owed Rogers $300. When I called Rogers they informed me on how I have yet to miss a payment for over 3 years. They thanked me for being a loyal customer and left me on my way. EITHER THIS PLACE IS BAD WITH INFORMATION OR IS A SCAM, DONT TRUST THEM!

I’d give them lower than 1 I could. I don’t have any debt and my only credit card is completely paid off. I’ve never taken out any loans and have never had any outstanding subscriptions anywhere. They’ve been calling me every day since February and leaving me french robocall messages in my voicemail. I’ve reported them to Call Control and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. If they don’t stop after my latest plea to them I’ll report it to the BBB. Seriously, knock it the heck off.

I received a lawyers letter, stating I owe $550.00 to Rogers. I live in western Canada. I am suppose to pay for a phone that I received when I could not walk, meaning I could not return it 16 years ago. Rogers should be run out of Canada.

My father has been deceased since Nov 2014 and we have sent records to all appropriate agencies he dealt with. Yet they still call and bother my mother even after being told.

They are calling for a person that was has MY number attached to his credit report, mind you I had my cell number since 2009 don't owe anyone anything. Called in got yelled at twice and hung up saying that I'm insulting their intelligence by double checking if they are going to remove my number from their call list or not. Seems like a big scam operation and not a collector.

Just called because this number has been calling me for months and leaving empty voicemails. The girl that answered was incredibly rude. I told her I already reported them to the CRA and I would be calling the police. She said "your collections will stay. I'll remove your number, and I'll leave a note, but the collections will stay. " I didn't even give her any information. She just has the phone number. Also, when she called me by name, she used my nickname that I use in my voicemail. She did not call me by full name (which a company has never done- they always address by the full name). Then she hung up on me.

Edit: after asking for good awhile we finally got the document that was showing that i owed nothing more, thanks sanak for sending the documents
We are all squared up now, so overall i'm happy now

i had a bill with fido, spoke with SANAK NAYAK, we came to an agreement, paid off the bill, he said they will send a letter showing the bill was paid off, its been over 2 months and its been excuses after excuses and nothing

Four months later, this company still keep calling my number using their agents from many locations even after I was told my number has been removed from their list. This company should be bankrupt, as they waste their clients' resources, disturbing others while chasing debtors who are much "smarter" than them.

Very rude staff. I was getting messages on my phone and I called them back to advise they have the wrong phone number and provided the number they should be calling. I continued to get voice mail so I called back again. The gentleman who answered cut me off and put myw call in somew cue. Another lady picked up and was rude and very short with me.

I've been getting calls from here for a while now, they're looking for my ex boyfriend from 5 years ago. Even blocking their number, they still leave voicemails so I finally called today to get into an argument with support who claims he's a supervisor after I asked to speak with someone higher up. He says because they're looking for my ex and even though we're not in contact, they can't remove my number since we were together 5 years ago. After going back and forth, he said he will take it under review but wow, rude support that put words in my mouth, took things out of context. I'm sure they're a fine company but STOP HARASSING PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT INVOLVED!

I called this place because they sent me a letter saying i owed Rogers 4500. I have never had a rogers account in my life. After calling Rogers and explained my Situation and properly identify myself the women on the phone told me i dont have any open accounts with them. I checked my credit report and nothing in collections. I asked the man at the collections company to send me all the information regarding this open account for me to review, he told me he can not that i would have to call rogers. Well at that point i knew right there this was nothing more but a harassment letter and i hung up. What a horrible company.

My advice is if you ever get a letter from this company do your homework and call the place you apparently owe money too.do everything you can before calling this place.

Worst experience I have ever had they were keep calling me before I made the payment and after that they even dont pick our calls and once they pick they hang up such stupid inappropriate and disrespectful

I owed money.it went to collections.
NCR bought it from the collection agency.
They called me.they by no means were rude.they helped me get this debt settled. I was worried when I read all these reviews.but clearly these people just don't want to admit they owe money
