Our technician was very thorough and patient answering our questions before going ahead with our purchase.
The installation process was quick and tidy and before leaving, our technician made sure that we were comfortable using our stairlift.

They’re alright when your in person, tho you can still hear them snickering and making jokes about you, over the phone is abysmal. They hang up on you, don’t let you finish what your saying, just completely rude and ghastly phone etiquette.

Mark was fast, efficient, tidy and friendly when installing grab bars in my bathrooms. I had talked to a couple of handyman who said that drilling into tile was tricky, but Mark did the job super easily and well.

So happy to have met Alex Lalonde. He is a treasure. He was so helpful and informative. He spent 2 hrs with me. This is the first time I have had a full adjustment to my chair. No one has ever done that before. It really makes a difference. So grateful. Liz Matte

I met with Tanya and she was extremely knowledgeable regarding the products offered by her company. Tanya’s friendly attitude made it easy to discuss other devices which may help my husband with his mobility. We purchased a walker and will be buying others items at this company.

Many thanks to Steve for fixing my wheelchair at the last minute. I can’t say enough on how I am treated as a valued customer. The service department is top notch. I called as I had a brake handle not working properly and was leaving the following morning for a two week trip to Newfoundland. Steve had the part I needed and fit me in to do the work. He also took the time to clean the hair around my front wheels to save a wheel bearing replacement. Many thanks again National Seating and Mobility and especially Steve for doing the work.

Long time customer. 2nd walker I have purchased here. I now know you should bring your walker in for service about every 6 months but even though I hadn't known that, mine lasted 6 years! Excellent customer service and much thanks to Howard and Steve in service for their kind assistance. Wide arrange of medical supplies and mobility items. THE place to go in Ottawa!

They got me my first wheelchair and now they're helping me again. The staff is super awesome, friendly and very helpful. Couldn't ask for better

Company that makes its money on "helping" seniors. Doesnt really help. Asked them to move my clients old chair to the garage and apparently it's not part of their job. It's a liability. Umm. I order a mattress and my old one is taken away. We just asked to have the old chair moved to the garage. Clearly they dont understand what working with seniors entails. The men there that day did remove it but the company still has its unhelpful rules and if there was other ppl there that day they may not have been so helpful. I am telling my 50+ clients about their "services"!

I took a bad fall during a blizzard and had to have emergency surgery done on my leg. National Seating and Mobility was recommended to me for a stair lift and other medical equipment that I could use. I am very pleased with the stair lift and several other helpful products that Sylvie and Luc suggested and provided for me on short notice. I highly recommend their company and especially their thorough and pleasant service.

I purchased a hospital bed for my father from national Seating & Mobility and were very pleased with the service. I was able to get updates from the company regarding the planned delivery date, which ended up being the date that I had hoped for. As well, the technicians who brought the bed and installed it were excellent. They were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I will use this company again in the future, if I need any mobility aids for my dad or myself.

If you and your family’s lives have been turned upside down by emergency surgery and you desperately need medical equipment and advice, BE SURE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. We called for information ahead of time and were quite reasonably told it would be easier to be helped in person because the product did not include all dimensions. As soon as my children were home off the school bus my wife raced over. Yes we knew we were cutting it close with a 5pm closing time so I called ahead, this time requesting that the three possible items be brought forward to the cash (to shorten the process). I was told by the operator that the staff who manage the inventory were busy with clients. Fine, again I understand. My only option was to leave a voice message. I figured an employee may not rush to check a voice message 20 minutes to closing so I hoped the operator could let the staff know once they were free again but that was not an option. I figured the operator and staff must not be near each other. Turns out that’s not the case.

My wife arrived and between 4: 40 and 4: 50 she was provided multiple options and was correctly told again she had very little time to decide. I don’t think the staff appreciated that since the item was for her bed-ridden husband she needed to consult me. As soon as she called me the staff repeatedly reminded her that time was running out and at 4: 55 she was told it was too late. Sorry. Go home without our product and wait 15 hours until we re-open. Our products that are designed for safety and to make sure you don’t end up back in the hospital I guess are not important to my recovery?

Bottom line, for a business that helps people during some of the most difficult times in their lives you would think ‘compassion’ would be built into the job description. Apparently making sure the door is locked and the lights are off at exactly 5: 00 is of greater importance than their prospective clients’ safety (even though there was no threat of us keeping them from doing that. I knew the timeline, and if I didn’t I could certainly hear the ladies through the phone telling us. By the way, are we not long past the days of written invoices? 1-2 minutes to process a single transaction is not unheard of anymore.

But I think I know why their business is “formerly Canada Care”, because no one there seems to have a caring bone in their body.
