Neighbour Shawarma

Overall I like neighbor shawarma, unless i end up going to Uppwr Ottawa location. Today I bought large Shawarma rice and Large fries. Quantity was less than what I get from Raymal road location, both Rice and fries.

I absolutely love the food here, I have never had a bad meal or have been unhappy with the taste of my food. On the other hand the service is absolutely horrible. Without fail if you order over the phone they will screw up your order. The last five times I have ordered via phone they either haven’t had my food ready and made me wait for the entire order or they’ve messed up my order. Quite frustrating as I love the food and come here on a semi often basis. Whenever you ask them about why your order isn’t correct you get some seriously rude attitude. The employees are extremely rude. Will be taking a long pause on ordering from here which is disappointing to say as again I love the food here.

It seems that everyone in the neighborhood and from afar loves this place for their Thursday Special which consists of an overflowing container of chicken shawarma on top of a delicious salad. The white sauce is addictive. It was very filling and inexpensive. There was a constant stream of customers during the 10 minutes I was there. I'll be back.

Tasty, great portions, high quality, fresh, and fairly priced. Top shawarma spot in the city. Always my go to. Great service as well and always reliable.

Came around 11: 30pm on a Saturday.
Got the daily special which was shawarma rice combo and its almost all rice with some chicken on top and way too much sauce. It came with a pita which I didn't need. Overkill on the starch. They must have forgot my salad. There aren't any vegetables anywhere, just the odd onion here and there. Also no hot sauce like I asked for. Very disappointing I was starving and really looking forward to trying this place. Now I have to make myself some vegetables. Way too much starch for a meal. In the photo I added some parsley for some flavour.

Update:
The restaurant said that it didn't come with salad but I asked the staff if it did and they said yes.
They also said that I should have told them to put less sauce on but they didn't ask me! Am I supposed to read their mind? Bad excuses. They could have made an offer or apologized but instead lost a customer for good.

Come for the fresh naan— stay for the shawarma

Messed up our order, so we had to drive back 20 mins to get it corrected. Owner was unapologetic.

I ordered through Ubereats so I honestly can’t speak to the customer service or atmosphere. What I can speak to is the food quality. We recently ate in a supposedly 5 star “best Shwarma in Hamilton” place and it expensive rubbish. This, on the other hand is so good. The quality of meat is great. The seasoning is flavourful and delicious. The toppings are fresh. The fries were soggy, but I’m attributing that to the Ubereats delivering elsewhere before bringing the food and not the restaurant’s fault.
I will definitely order here again as it’s the tastiest Shwarma I have found so far.

My go-to shawarma place!

Me and my boyfriend come here all the time! They serve huge quantities, the food is always delicious, and the people who work here are the kindest! This is our go to place for shawarma <3

I came in yesterday around 7: 30 after a long shift, I was amazed of the performance of the young girl at the front. Her outstanding service and dedication to making my shawrama’s was very much appreciated. A raise is definitely needed.
Food was so good!

I have been loyal customer for long time but now I will be getting my shawarma from somewhere else. I have been ordering shawarma poutine for my son without hot sauce and almost every time they put hot sauce on it. This not the first or second time, it’s almost every time. I don’t have time to go back to store and have them fix it. They don’t pay attention to detail.

Good food. Pretty expensive compared to other places. Very, very poor customer service-the reason for the 1 star review.

Had a great shawarma with the family and my son keeps asking me to go there. All the respect to making their own bread, turnip, garlic sauce and everything in the house.
