Its my fault. I guess I was expected too much. I expected staff here would be enthusiastic about helping customers decide what machine to buy. It turned out they were enthusiastic about talking amongst themselves at the door. After spending a long time at the machines display, I had to approach them for help with my queries. And the person I was talking to didnt even offer to walk toward the machines for a more interactive conversation. I has to request them to come towards the machines display.

At the end, that staff did give me good advice for which I am grateful (and thats the only reason for 3 stars for an otherwise 1-star experience and review).

I bought a year's supply of coffee pods, then over to the tasting bar I selected my cappuccino pod. The staff (a different person) asked me if I wanted milk with it. Huh? I asked for a cappuccino? !? !? !? !? !? !? ! Nespresso believes a cappuccino can be without milk? Furthermore they made it in an espresso shot glass and said they didnt have the milk frother but can add plain milk direct from the refer. Sorry for expecting a cappuccino to be made in a cappuccino cup with warm milk and froth.

I began my review with "its my fault". Yes, its my fault for expecting enthusiastic sales staff to approach a customer clearly looking to purchase. Its my fault to expect a cappuccino to be made with warm milk and froth. In the end, its my fault for coming here to Nespresso. I expected too much.

Wait! No! I expected what any average customer would expect. I guess its Nespresso Boutique at Yorkdale Mall who doesnt give a damn! Good going guys.

I found everything I was looking for at this store, and the prices were reasonable. The store was well-organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I had a very pleasant experience at Nespresso Boutique especially services provided by Mr. Basil. He was very understanding, helpful and gave excellent customer service. I would have bought more products if I was not in hurry. Because of his services I will visit the store again.

I really want to give Nespresso no stars but Google won't allow for that. Such a waste of time and money. I do not know where the customer service call reviews are for Nespresso but honestly it doesn't even matter because I am angry with Nespresso in general. Long story short, I called to get my Nespresso machine fixed because it was leaking water out of the side of the machine every time I made a coffee, so Nespresso told me that they would fix it and send it back. Okay perfect.then the machine came back a week or so later but damaged and smelling. The logo was wiped off, the inside had water in it and then water tank at the back was filled of coffee. It smelled. So I called again and they told me they would replace it with a brand new one so I sent the machine back. So nice of them.nope the same one came back and when I called to tell them of the situation some man on the phone told me that it was my problem and Nespresso won't do anything about it. I hung up and called back to speak to someone else and get a manager on the phone and she went on to tell me that Nespresso won't do anything and it is what it is. A lot of rude and disrespectful conversations from Nespresso employees happened in between but I'll save those for a later date and different social media platform. A simple issue that arose MONTHS ago, is still on going and I still do not have a machine AT ALL because the lady on the phone just now said that I didn't call for the 21st time when I shipped my machine back 3 WEEKS AGO.so Nespresso is holding a machine from me and not sending me back another one until now because I "finally called". I suggest no one buy a machine just to avoid having to call customer service if something does happen to your machine. A Christmas gift that I received has made a whole 7 coffees and given me a whole lot of disappointment from a brand that upholds themselves to a high standard.

Let me count the ways.

Okay look if your having a bad day. I get it. We all have rough days. But as guest in this establishment. I was looking for 3 things. One to purchase more pods to my machine, try out this Milano coffee pods, and inquire about different machines. There effectiveness and quietness. But this one woman on the plus size. Was having none of it to be welcoming, her demeanor, her body language. I don't believe I smell bad or I don't believe I was rude. I was pretty well respecting. By any shape I'm just going to stay with Sherway gardens Nespresso boutique. There awesome

Got notifications on my phone to go for coffee sampling as we were visiting Yorkdale shopping centre. Two boys at the door were busy chatting with their selves, when we entered. Then no one really helped us. When waiting at the sampling station 3 people were visibly ignoring us. When we asked for a help one guy send us back to shopping counter. Thank you for nothing. Store full of important nobody’s. Will keep ordering on line since service in store sucks. Please don’t send invitations when no one wants to help. If I could would give 0 stars.

I had good time and my server went above and beyond for me with all the knowledge and information about coffee and also gave me some samples to try different types of coffees and what different aroma and coffee need to be and how to enjoy it. Had a terrible experience at this location waited for service for over 30 minutes. When we asked for help we were told we should of ordered on line. Rafael than told us to listen to him carefully not sure why I need to listen to Rafael at all I just want to order some coffee

To enter the store you have to wait in a line. So if you need to check how a coffee maker looks like in a real life just for a minute, you have to wait 15 mins in a line. Doesn’t make much sense apart from making the place crowded seeming like there’s lots of customers.

As non coffee lover, going into the store was quite overwhelming initially. But Brian made the experience tremendous. Brian was super informative about the products. From showing off how the machine works, to tasting multiple coffees, to selecting the capsules and other accessories, i felt confident enough when leaving the store. So much so that i walked out with a Vertuo Plus for the wife. Brian was phenomenal and the wife is going to be happy this holiday season!

I did give 4 stars because the milk frother I had just purchased did not work upon opening it the next day and trying to use it. It was brand new out of the box. We contacted Nespresso and they will be sending us a new one, but extra hassle to get it shipped back, and replaced since we don’t live close to this boutique.

This location’s customer service has really gone down over time. Employees are not paying attention to waiting customers, prioritizing long casual conversations with other customers or employees while 3 sometimes 5 customers are waiting in line.

This was my second time going to the Yorkdale location and it’s the worst service compared to the otter locations I visit. Was waiting to speak to the rep behind the sample bar. There were 2 workers and 1 ‘customer’. Waited for over 5 minutes and not a single acknowledgment from either of the reps. When the customer walked off to cash one of the reps went with her and the other went to the back. For such a classy place the service is so poor.

This Boutique has a great customer service. Every time I have gone there I’ve been treated with the best customer manners. The staff are all great but today specifically there was this Rafael guy that helped us and he was extremely nice and answered all our questions patiently. He was great and perfectly knowledgeable.

During the covid they were understandably slow.but now that covid has calmed down guess what - still excruciatingly slow.
The "response from the owner" must be bot because nothing has changed.

I having been using nespresso for years! The service in Yorkdale so so horrible. They ask what you came in for? Really? Then! You have to wait and wait to be served! The people behind the counter talk and walk away trying to sell machines! Look after the people in line! And when you see the staff door open! There are staff sitting around! And drinking Starbucks! Just serve the customer and let us go!

Worst customer service. The employees care about greeting you and giving away free coffee tastings rather than selling coffee to customers in line. Waited in line while watching an employee cash someone out, look at the people standing waiting and then go to the coffee tasting area leaving no one at the cash. As I was leaving, the greeter told me if I knew what I wanted I should just order online. Whats the point of physical stores if no one cares to actually sell anything? Will never shop at this location again.

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Every single time I go to Yorkdale, never a nice service, they just look like they don’t care, people are buying anyway. I placed an order for my friend to pick up, carefully edited my info in the app with his name so that he could pick it up easily. Do you think this is what happened? Of course not! The associate wouldn’t give him the order eventhough his name was written on it, all because it was through my account, and let’s not talk about the attitude. 100% recommend going to any other location but this one. Unless you like horrible service…

The line was reasonably fast, and they had good social distancing protocols. They had the stuff I wanted and the transaction was done quickly and easily.

They release seasonal flavours sometimes but they get sold our quickly.

The official website was down almost the whole day and I had to go to the store. There, the employees want to make sure that they are in charge by giving orders "move to the left/move to the right" as if it is perfectly safe from Covid when you move 1 feet in the direction of the "red dot".

When I asked about the app/website, they just confirmed that it was down. No acknowledgement that ppl have spent time and money to go and to line-up at the store or to make calls to the toll free line (no luck, their systems were down too). No common sense company.

Wait time to get in can be long and it’s for a number of reasons. 1) Staff members have no knowledge of their own services they provide in store, three different staff members told me completely different things. 2) You cannot make an online order with them, you’re told to create a profile with them and call a number to order, or order yourself online. 3) Staff members are talking to eachother giggling and laughing while customers are waiting in line. 4) I saw on multiple occasions two/three staff members helping one customer at once for a long duration of time. Not what I expect from my first experience at NESPRESSO, I will be trying my best to avoid visiting the store and order online going forward.

I absolutely hate this store for many reasons. They have incompetent staff working there and only one person can do 'returns'. I ended up waiting almost an hour as being the 2nd person in the line when the store first opened - which is mind blowing. The coffee pods are also overpriced. The place is a scam, do not go. For a plastic bowl/container it will cost $40, which you can easily find at a Value Village. Stupid lines at all the nespresso stores. Get better nespresso, get better - you need the lord's help.

Worst customer service. I waited 40 min in a 8 person line to get my Coffee. The manager was very rude and unorganized. They had 2 people help one client because she said it was a “big order”. Then I was told I should have ordered on line if I had a problem with waiting. The Eatons centre location is much better and more efficient.

Very disappointed with the customer service at nespresso over the weekend. The social distancing measures i undersatand.but having 4 employees walking around aimlessly isnt the best idea.with 3 cash registers available. The line was out thr store maybe by about 15 people. When i asked why the other team members wouldn't open a cash instead of wondering and checking their phones in the corner. I was told "how do you know they arent doing anything? !? " The guys name was Amit. This location is by far the worst one. Save yourself dome time and order online.

Waited close to 20 minutes only to find out at the cash register that they were sold out of the entire line of iced coffee pods. It would have been nice if the staff at the front of the store managing the line and handing out menus could tell you they're out.

Wife was told she could return some coffee if she didn’t like it after trying one. We didn’t like the vanilla flavour. I brought it back and was promptly told it was not possible because it was part of some deal. Employees here don’t know anything and just want to make a sale. Stay away!

Great coffee and unbelievable customer service! No more Tim Hortons and McDonald's coffee after I purchased one of these machines. Better than Starbucks quality and only costs you about a $1 a coffee. Can't go wrong!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Walked in looking to buy a machine but wanted to know the difference between two. Looked around for staff and staff was too busy talking amongst themselves to even notice me and when I made eye contact they just looked at me and looked away. Staff then went and helped people that came in after me probably because they came dressed in a suit and not a cap like I did. Staff attitude to the people that came in after me was so nice and helpful and when I finally had to walk up to three different staff members for help the staff member that helped me was extremely rude and it felt like she couldn’t wait to get rid of me. Extremely disappointed in the staff at this location as they don’t do the brand justice. I was incredibly excited to walk away with a machine as I’ve bought two before however this whole experience has made me question if I want to walk back into another Nespresso location.

We went to the location at yorkdale mall in toronto today. We we're being helped by katerina. The service was excellent, she was very patient and clear. She did an excellent job explaining the different machines and going over the espresso/coffee selection. We were very impressed by her service and would reccomend anyone thinking of buying a Nespresso to see Katerina. I hope Nespresso values their employee as much as we did today, wanted to share our feedback.

Came here during the holidays just to buy some pods. There’s 3 people at the tasting area, 3 people walking around and answering questions, 1 person restocking inventory, 1 manager just walking around and only 2 people at cash. It took me 15min to buy pods - the line kept growing until it was out the door, but they apparently didn’t care as they didn’t get anyone else on cash

Went there with a friend. Tricky to write a review because i'm not a coffee drinker but based on the awesome service, I'd have to give at least 4 stars. This is a place where coffee connoisseurs buy at least $100 worth of coffee and supplies.

A whole wall was stacked with different coloured capsules indicating flavour. I was impressed, overwhelmed or both! Anyway, we lined up for the cashiers as soon as we walked in and while many people were in the store, there was no one else lined up so we were at the front of the line and we're offered some free product. I thought that was a nice touch. The cashier we got was very friendly, so that's also why the high rating from a non-coffee drinker. Plus i got some of their free chocolates as a part of their 14 boxes promo from my friend and i luv chocolate! Nice place.

I’ve been here about 6 times now and every single time I had to wait in line for 15+ minutes. Once I get to the counter, the employees are always extremely unpleasant and condescending as if they’re doing me a favour helping me select my coffee. It’s a shame that such a great product lacks a proper store and professional staff.

I went to this location about a month ago and I had the best experience. I was greeted from the moment I walked in, the lady at the front counter was extremely helpful, quick to get my order together and she even went over to make the coffee I wanted to try. She let me sip the coffee for a bit and look around the store before I decided on purchasing a box of it. The staff were all super friendly and very informative. I’m still VERY new to the Nespresso life so any insight on good creations are helpful and they provide that. So thank you!

Not to pleased with the customer service at the yorkdale location, made me buy a new flavor before allowing me to taste test it. Weird. As for the coffee, best pod coffee you can have and the price is worth it in my opinion.

Just came out of the store, stood there for 10 mins and made eye contact with every sales associate at the coffee bar trying to get the new over ice capsule. No one had any intention to help or even say hello, came in with absolutely 0 service. Those working today should be ashamed, worst Nespresso location

They've closed the Fairview Mall location but told noone. When I called customer service even they had to double check it was closed. After zero apologies for wasting my time I asked for 5 recycle bags to be sent to my home and not to charge me for shipping the 40 pods i was going to buy in store. Ok on the bags but not prepared to help on the shipping despite what was happening. Short sighted and terrible service. Time to move on.

I used to love the Nespresso store until head office decided to close the second location inside The Bay and now it's always a 20+ minute wait in line. For the supposedly premium experience that Nespresso is supposed to offer along with the high price of coffee this is not acceptable.
Nespresso management, if you're reading this either add more staff (especially during weekends) or re-open the second location inside The Bay at Yorkdale.

The staff here are always wonderful, always something new to try (and buy) and service overall is good. The wait can sometimes be quite long though, depending on time of day. Make sure to get a plastic bag for your pods, they have black bags that you can use to return your pods for recycling at the store, or red ones which have a Canada Post label which you can send from any post office for free. The photo taken in my review is of the Colombian coffee for VertuoLine on my iPhone XS Max.

Awesome place for your coffee (I mean espressos) wants and needs. Located in the heart of the Yorkdale Mall. Truly a great spot and a great selection of products. You won't be turned down to try a sample if you are on the edge of buying one or the other.

I love my machine. Bought it at a great price at Costco for $208. It came with a $45 credit that can be used at the stores. The promotion also came with 12 different coffee capsules. Only problem is I didn't like any of the coffee samples. I used the credit to buy different packages of coffee. Still haven't found a flavour I like yet. Hoping I will find my flavour soon because the machine is amazing.

Rude staff and dumb system for service when compared to other locations.

I came here to buy a small amount of coffee pods while on holidays. My relatives have a machine in their house and I was only staying a week. I had to explain this to the worker because she hummed and hawed about how little coffee I was buying. She even said, "Is it even worth it? " to me. I, as the customer, don't care how much commission you make and if you don't make commission, what difference does it make?

I only had my phone on me (left my wallet at home) planning on using my Apple Pay - this store is not set up for this Go figure - I was able to use Apple Pay in the food court not Nespresso - a little behind the times,
