We came from Calgary for one week at Nevis bed and breakfast!
Are stay was memorable! Every day beginning with a fantastic breakfast in the modern room but with the charm of the old house high ceiling with the plaster mold, just Wow!
What a fantastic place to stay!

This was an amazing gem found in Perth! We went for a girls weekend to Perth after a very long week and the Nevis Estate was top notch! The personnel was all very kind and quick to answer any questions or make our schedules work. It was only a 15 minute walk to Downtown Perth and we spent the day exploring before returning to the Bed and Breakfast! Our room was Bowmore and there was a comfortable reading chair that we enjoyed relaxing in to read! Breakfast was by far outstanding! Food was fresh and delicious and there were so many options. The 3 tiered serving tray was adorable and there was so much food! 10/10 recommend! We will be back!

Beautiful property within a 10 minute walk from downtown Perth. The stone home is very well maintained and tastefully furnished. The homemade breakfast was delicious. The room felt spacious and luxurious. I would highly recommend Nevis Estate.

A very cute and well maintained Bnb. Very close to the city centre so it’s a very convenient location. The hosts were sweet. The rooms are nice. Our room was called Oban and the bathroom was really nice. The only issue I had was the loud train noise at night but if you’re a deep sleeper it should not be too much of an issue.

We stayed two nights in this lovely historic home. The room was large, nicely decorated, with an excellent view of the well-treed grounds. The breakfast was elegantly presented and delicious. The host was welcoming and very accommodating. Well worth the stay and only a short walk from down town Perth.

This 1842 Historic Boutique B&B displays a luxury & elegant ambiance that welcomes you with a grandiose front entrance that is surrounded by ancient magnificent trees. The interior decor is outstanding with a mixture of Gregorian & Neoclassical with beautiful artwork & chandeliers throughout accented by exquisite furniture & accessories. The Liquor Bar & Wine Cellar on the main floor exhibits premium quality. The breakfast was deliciously prepared by Terri & served by Scott, the 2 owners! We had the fresh fruit & yogurt w/pastry tray, an outstanding omelette w/multi-grain bread, coffee & lattes. The Balvenie Suite was like nothing we’ve ever experienced! Premium linens on a huge wooden 4 poster king size bed, a huge bathroom w/walk-in shower, a double jacuzzi tub & outstanding amenities. The huge sitting area is complimented with a large wall mounted TV, a mini-bar & refrigerator, fresh water w/real glasses & a candle-lit fireplace. The huge outdoor pool is surrounded by plentiful loungers w/umbrellas & towels are provided in your room. There is also a hot tub & screened in gazebo area. In minutes, you can walk to downtown Perth to experience restaurants, nature trails, parks, shopping, galleries, markets & festivals. There was absolutely nothing missing from this overnight except, we should’ve stayed longer!

We're so speechless honestly, First time visiting Perth and Nevis Estate was an amazing place to stay, breakfast was delicious, the owners were very friendly, and the customer service was excellent, and over all we had an amazing experience! Everything was SOOO BEAUTIFUL! We will definitely be coming back someday in the future? Thank you for the wonderful hospitality

Terry and Scott have clearly put a lot of thought as well as effort into transforming this unique property. Their vision for Nevis Estates is clear from their attention to detail. They have chosen luxurious linens, custom cutlery and decor items appropriate to the history and scale of the house. Our suite (Belvanie) was spectacular.
We could not have been more impressed with the presentation
of and selection for breakfast. Happy to spread the word of this delightful establishment.

This is our 2nd time coming to Nevis Estate. We love this place and it is our special getaway every 6 months. We love the fresh smell when you walk into the estate the great attention to details to everything. Rooms are clean and spotless, amazing products used in the shower. This time we tried the pool as we came in the summer and it was a great relaxing atmosphere. Will be again in 6 months. Thank you Terry and aScott for making our get away so special:)!

Beautiful room in a property that was perfectly located for our purpose. Breakfast was especially well done. Thanks again to our hosts who were very accommodating to our special needs. Highly recommended.

Five stars! This has been the best B&B I ever stayed at. Scott and Terri are very friendly and make sure you have everything you need. The rooms have amazing amenities (Dyson hairdryer, toiletries, Nespresso etc). Terri makes a great breakfast. One of the best eggs Benedict I have ever had, she even makes homemade quiche. I will definitely be going back.

This place is great. I don't even know where to begin. It was very peaceful, elegant, and super cozy. The entire place was so clean! The rooms were big, beautiful and the beds were super comfortable. There is a train near by, but I only heard it once the first night. Didn't hear any trains the other nights. My kids and my hubby didn't hear it at all.
The town wasn't far, took us 10 mins walking with small kids. The breakfast was very good, they fed us so much I was full until supper.
Will definitely come back again, hopefully in the summer to enjoy the pool.

Our weekend getaway at Nevis Estate was amazing! We were blown away by the outstanding hospitality by Terri and Scott. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms were stunning, and the location is a short 5-10 minute walk to downtown. Our room was very clean and the decor is stunning. They truly went above and beyond. We will be back soon!

We spent a weekend at Nevis Estate in May 2022. Everything was perfect. From checking in with the charming family that runs the Inn, to the top notch breakfast in the dining room, to lounging around the living room, and our own king size bed and massive bathroom, it was all perfect. I absolutely recommend spending a couple of nights here if you're in Perth, Ontario.

Terri and Scott, who own and operate Nevis Estate, are par excellence hosts in providing a truly luxurious and memorable experience for their guests. They have exquisitely blended the classic elegance of this historic mansion with a very fresh upscale decor and ultra-modern amenities. Our room - the Lagavulin - was tastefully appointed with stylish furnishings, premium linens and first-class touches (Dyson hair dryer, Nespresso machine and the choicest European soaps and lotions). The evening of our arrival, we found much needed relaxation in the bright and elegant sitting room, setting us up for a most comfortable and restful night of sleep. Breakfast was truly a treat, with Scott expertly preparing a most luscious latte, and with Terri pampering us with various delights of tasty fruit parfaits, warm and fresh buttery croissants, perfect sunny-side up eggs, and a little chocolate treat too. We highly recommend Nevis Estate for Scott and Terri's welcoming hospitality, their attention to the finest details and the superior quality of accommodation they offer.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The place itself is beautiful and the hosts are great.
That being said we encountered a few issues during our stay:
- be informed that trains are passing very close to the B&B. As such, our sleep was disturbed by very lound honking sounds in the middle of the night.
- given the age of the building, the rooms are somewhat poorly isolated. Thus, you could hear pretty much everything from inside the room.
- the breakfast was good, but ordinary for an upper-scale B&B (eggs, bacon and toast). Sure, there was a nice "entrée" before the main course, but I could recognize that the mini quiches were bought at Costco. However, I will say that the hosts accommodated my allergies, which was very thoughtful of them.
- before check-out, a staff member entered the room without knocking first. Although it was a miscommunication, it made me feel very uncomfortable.

We had high expectations leading up to our stay at Nevis Estate. Happy to report that all were met or exceeded. Terri and Scott are great hosts. They've put a lot of work into their B&B and it shows, and they've big plans to offer even more in the coming months. Highly recommended!

We decided to book a room on a whim for a short get away from Ottawa. It was our first BnB experience, and we were not disappointed! The house and rooms are very well updated with modern amenities while paying homage to the history of the house. The hosts were delightful, and prepared a wonderful breakfast during the morning of our stay. We are definitely planning to return.

Had a great visit at the Nevis Estate in early October. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was great. We felt very welcomed and had great chats with the new owners. Can't wait to go back in the summer to see the upcoming changes!

Fantastic hosts, Terri and her husband Scott.the estate has been tastefully updated and decorated.attention to detail is great! Food is delicious and is presented fit for a magazine shoot. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable, bedding crisp and white. A Dyson hair dryer and Nespresso machine were in the room! The grounds were spacious.pool and hot tub on-site. Run, don't walk to this location for the perfect getaway!

Amazing little gem in Perth! Property is beautiful and the room is nicely decorated. Loved the breakfast and delicious latte macchiato. Perfect location as it’s a walking distance from downtown Perth. Totally recommended to stay at Nevis Estate!

Terri and Scott were amazing hosts, and have done an incredible job updating the property. Every room is beautifully decorated, bright and airy. Breakfast was delicious too! We also loved that it was walkable to the heart of Perth, where we putter around and have dinner at one of the local spots - a great way to spend the evening. Highly recommend this little gem just outside the city!

My wife and I spent our wedding night at Nevis Estates. Terry & Scott made our stay perfect. Large rooms, upscale atmosphere, amazing food!

Jenny was a fantastic host. It felt like we were being welcomed into her home - not like we were staying at a hotel. She made us a great breakfast in the morning. We're looking forward to returning someday.

My husband and I stayed at the Nevis estate last weekend to attend a wedding. At first, we wanted to book a room at the Best Western but it was fully booked. So, we decided to try a Bed & Breakfast for the 1st time and let me tell you, I was not at all disapointed! I had read the reviews prior and saw that everyone had left a perfect review and immediately thought.yeah, ok.so many people in this world are so judgemental and picky. I said to myself, something is up. How can the reviews be so perfect? But, I can now say having spent one night at the Nevis Estate.it was actually, perfect! Jenny was a fantastic, friendly host. Her estate is so close to everything, the land is prestine, the rooms are spacious and spotless and the breakfast was incredible. Fruit salad, yogurt, bread pudding, coffee and orange and then she asked us if we wanted eggs & bacon, cinnamon toast or an omelet! We left there, happy full and so amazed by this Bed & Breakfast. I told Jenny when I left, no other bed & breakfast can ever top this experience. EVER! If you are looking around to book a place to stay in perth.look no further! Book this place! You will not be sorry!
