New Century Plaza

Very nice restaurant staff and waitress attentive. We had private dinner and loved their setup. Excellent food.

An interesting indoor mall that has been around for a couple of decades, anchored by the giant restaurant and banquet hall in the middle. Most people come for it, but there is also the housewares store in the basement and several other small shops catered to niche needs. Accessibility isn't that great, though.a bit dim and narrow halls, but the parkade above the mall itself is an advantage!

Not enough parking space for customer. We don't know why we can't park to 2nd floor. We won't go there if no solution.

There is a wide variety of dim sum options and the food is tasty! It is a large restaurant so seating is spacious. Reservations are highly recommended on the weekends but don't be surprised if you still have to wait 20 minutes for your table (as was the case for my Table for 6 today). However, the overall dim sum experience is very good and I often recommend New Century Restaurant to anyone interested in good Chinese food!

Attended the wedding banquet on Saturday 1 Oct, the foods is terrible taste except the service is acceptable.

I think the management office did a terrible job. When I walked thought the parking lot, suddenly something hooked my shoes and almost fell down. I realized it was a pole on the grass that being cut with shape edges. It broke my shoe. Thanks God it didn’t cut through my skin. I think I will made claim to the management office if they don’t do anything about it.

The restaurant inside is good, kind of mall for all kind of Chinese/cantonese supplies include but not limited to the shop of dried seafood, canada ginseng/herbal medicine, chinese fiction or comic rental, There are also shops for clothing altering; Traditional Chinese medicine doctor and bone setter doctor as well.

They currently have a dine in lunch special for September. Lobster noodle for $21.80, +$1 for an extra lobster.
Portions are big, lobster is fresh

The special is Mon-Fri only during lunch, limited quantities.

Like any other dim sum places, there is a $2 tea charge per adult.

Not a busy place, food quality is good. Service good too. Price is little bit higher than others.

Good location of shopping n there is a Chinese Hong Kong style Dimsum restaurant inside the mall. There is also a big free parking lot too. Check it out.

There is a big Chinese restaurant inside you can have din sum. Flower shops, Chinese herbal shops.

Unit 65 never ever deal with the business.l did buy TV IP (A1) for $300 after few months he stop the update so $300 for nothing l'm sure he will never ever continue his business unprofessional business and mad man.

The plaza is showing its age, but the shops inside are great. You can pretty much get anything you want there. There are flower shops, herbal medicine shops, computer and cellphone repair shops, barber shop, clothing alteration shop, as well as restaurants and food court.

The Restaurant there is great. Newly renovated. The shop in basement loaded with good deal stuff. Other than this, majority of this plaza are Chinese Medicine stores. South side are great variety of restaurants

Very old style plaza that seen better glory days. This plaza has been like here forever and shows no signs of closing. There about 3 restaurants in this plaza, a few florists, hair salons, Chinese herbal shops.antique shops, a few bookstores etc. There is even a low priced item shop in the basement. Parking outside may be hard as it is competing with the restaurant close by but there is over the ground parking being offered.

Lots of parking at this plaze with a good variety of shops outside. The main plaza has a variety of floral shops.that is about it.

Used to be better. The pandemic had hit some small operations hard. Hope this little plaza will turn around soon

Newly renovated. Bright, spacious and tidy. Pretty busy. Tight health guidance control incl QR code screening + ID, hand sanitizer gel + facial tissues available on each table. Good service. Hot, quality and delicious dim sums. Will visit again.

The plaza has seen its golden days years ago when there's not much competition. As there are so many Chinese malls and plazas around now, it has declined both in terms of traffic and business.

However, there's still a cluster of computer repair shops, Chinese herbal/dried seafood outlets and flower shops in the plaza providing very competitive services for the wiser shoppers. The optometrist and the optical shop also catches my eyes.

Of course, the two anchor tenants: the big Chinese dollar shop in the basement and the renovated restaurant both help attract new and old clientele to frequent this once prominent plaza again and again.

Paradoxically, only time will tell if the plaza can stand the test of time!

There are a number of small businesses within the New Century Plaza complex at situated on the north side of Metro Square along Steeles Ave East.

On the main floor you'll find a florist, a herbal shop and many other small vendors. Downstairs is home to The Best Shop which I consider an Asian discount department store.

I don't know what it's like on a good day but I didn't find a lot of customers roaming inside this Centre.

This plaza has quite a number of old Chinese style shops, mostly run by Chinese. Chinese medicine, herbs, some flower shops, a cheap department store, an expensive Chinese restaurant, visited mostly by Chinese people. Not very popular even for Chinese people.

Good restaurant and flower shop in mall. There are good chinese dry goods shop in mall. There is a good low cost shop in the basement.sales household items.

Lots of dried seafood shops here (but many of them are owned by the same boss) and a popular flower shop that has a good selection of fresh flowers and house plants. There's a department store in the basement with cheap everyday items. The mall is outdated but is a good place to look when you already know what you're looking for.

I don't go there too often, because this plaza is going downhill from its peak time many years ago. This plaza is very outdated and needs a refresh. Customer traffic is slow and the business varieties are limited, with many stores also went out of business.

Horrible hair saloon. Staff just ignore the style you want Or actually don't know how to cut. (show them the photo of the hair style I want to cut)

The owner known his staff make a huge mess half way, (Over cut hair by a lot) even told him how to fix it up, but still ignore it.

Be aware of the hair salon which is close to the main entrance.

Mark the price as 14, but after cut, it can be 16 or 20. All up to the owner. After that, the cut quality is a joke too

They have many different items here, like flash light, bulb, battery, Glue, pencil sharpener, painting brush, cooking pans ect.

To be frank, this is not the great plaza aesthetically speaking. It even has a hole in the wall vibe. It's been around for decades, overlooked a forgotten. Its neighbor, Metro Square garners far more attention! Especially cause of the wide range of food options!

So why the 4 star rating you ask? Well, let's put it this way. If you are looking for affordable ginseng at a wholesale price, this is the place to be! If you are looking for flowers boutiques with reasonable pricing, this is the place to be! If you are looking for quality Chinese herbs at a fair price, this is the place to be! This is one of the best places in Toronto for fresh flowers, and quality herbs!

Very busy small Chinese Plaza with lots of lots of vendors you can always find something interesting here busy parking so please find your sports on the side

Mostly Chinese herbal companies and some small computer companies. Good price. Parking is okay.
